things are going slow. ill be real with you all. i'm working more on the outline than the actual story itself these days & polishing things up so they flow better and rounding out the ideas of these characters in my head which is good... im also drawing quite a bit mwahaha. but college is kicking my ass ill be so fucking real and true

please pray that my english class lets up on the ABSURD pace its going at . so that i can have more time to write. i'm like writing a few sentences each week its so bad guys. but anyways. Anyways. thank you to everyone whos standing by (T_T)... i really wanna get more done believe me. siiiiiigh...

chapter 4! chapter 4!

its starting out pretty good! im developing julies voice well i think... i want her to have a very half-in-the-moment-half-in-her-head sort of vibe, if that makes sense. as spoiled by the ao3 description (teehee) i want julie's passion for punk rock to be more prominent in gi76 but i also want her interest in science and art to come through, too!

julie is many things. julie contains multitudes... and im proud of how the chapter is coming across so far :)

prologue and chapter 1 finished. going over them tomorrow for editing. it is 5 am i am so sleepytired. will start work on chapter 2 soon andpossibly chapter illustration s because i love drawing these freaks. fuck. ohhhb i gotta sleep

not having a structured schedule kills my motivation to do nearly Anything but luckily this means that about once a week i go into a haze and write like a page and a half for GI76 and add to the outline while im fueled by nothing but the imaginary AMVs ive come up with in my head and the need to write more so i can draw more so i can rant more about my own fic . also coffee and jesus or whatever jay baumans cup says

UMM UPDATE TIME! its been a while since my last official post (instead of just rambling in the tags)... chapter 3 is pretty much done! im on spring break now so im gonna have more time to edit & tighten up these introductory chapters which is really nice. once im done with the first round of edits i might ask around to see if anyone would be willing to beta read.. i dont have much money to spare rn though so maybe ill see about opening art commissions again. (<- he says, just now newly recovered from burnout & art block...)

umm as for the story itself im really excited abt getting to write about ray! its only for a little bit, granted, but im trying to crank up the body horror and chapters 3, 4, and 5 are gonna feature him and his fucked up new body. im also enjoying writing from jacobs perspective & playing around with perception. chapter 3 in general is just A Lot so i hope thats gonna end up being good in the end.. oh well. thats a question for future me to answer

WEEEEE UPDATE !!

ok. so i couldn't write for a bit because i was housesitting and the job was pretty stressful but I'M BACK!

writing about the aliens... writing about jacob's encounter with them, writing about julie, dex, and jacob's bond through being in academia together... its very fun :] i also love getting to write ray and sid arguing in the background. LOL

im really happy im finally getting back in the swing of things... i missed writing so incredibly much and i cant wait to really get into the thick of it with the upcoming chapters :D

also. gonna try drawing some silly things tonight. stay tuned

little update on 70s GI... ive got a pretty good outline up n going and i have a definite vision for the vibes i want it to give off. that being said i think i'll be writing this as a novel before i write it as a script— leaving little notes for myself along the way if a scene is particularly inspiring enough to invoke an idea for a Scene, of course...

i've worked out some of the pretty big kinks in this version of the story that i had going in and hopefully as i fill out the outline the writing process will be easier. winter break is ending soon though so im gonna be really busy again :( but my schedule this semester is super flexible so hopefully ill be able to squeeze in a bunch of time for writing. wish me luck

ok. change of plans. im splitting apart chapter 2 and now the first batch of chapters will be released after chapter 3 is finished. also im at 8.1k words.. whew!
