About 15 days ago, I started the #75hard #75hardchallenge and then promptly became in the groundhog’s day that is Day 1, until today. Today I broke the cycle and completed all the steps and tomorrow I get to do Day 2…which is exactly the same as today, but different in a way 😂 In the midst of the collapse of my mental health, this is a small ray of sunshine cracking through the dusty dark corners of my brain. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cjouv-VrubU/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
The 75 Hard Challenge is going great! My team and I are pushing each other to the limit. It's just the start of our fitness journey, but I know we will all go the distance.💪
Day 31/75 has come to an end! I am absolutely loving the #75hardchallenge For the 75 days I chose to do #carnivorediet as diet and I am 100 percent sold. This WOE is legitimately life changing. I have never recovered anywhere near as well. My shoulder pain is basically gone, I can actually lift weights on my right arm again! To be brutally honest I have actually found the challenge relatively simple, the hardest part for me so far is drinking 3.5 litees of water a day when it's so cool here in winter. I am stoked with my results so far, my biggest barometer for results with this challenge was always about how I felt and just sticking to the process , building resilience not the numbers, but it is nice seeing your visceral fat levels drop 2 points in the first 3 weeks, dropping 2.5 percent body fat and keeping lean muscle mass the same! I had already lost 40 lbs for my aunts wedding in this photo and was pretty pumped to find a dress in a size 24! Little did I know I’d go on to lose another 120 lbs! I went from 322 lbs at my highest to 160 (maintaining right now in low 170s) Went from wearing a size 28 at my largest to a size 8 now. It’s cliche to say “keep going” & “don’t stop" Because you’ll stop. What matters is what you learn when you stopped and got back up. Learning from your failures and realizing you are worth more then that “stop" You are worth the “get back up and try again . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . credit- DM . #slimmingworldmotivationuk #bariatricsurgerysupport #carnivoretribe #weightlosetips #fitnesspartners #fitnessphotos #cambridgeweightloss #transformationonwednesday #fatburningworkout #bariátrica #fatgirlproblems #healthynotskinny #wwjourney #pcosweightloss #fitnessgirl #75hardchallenge #usaus #unitedstates #usa #weightlossusa #healthtarget (at Miami, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/CeTz4BmLyuM/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
OK so BOOM! I'm doing an outfit challenge on tiktok where it's called the #75hardchallenge
Basically, you don't buy any new clothes or accessories for 75 days, and you commit to going through your closet to pay attention to what you already have a lot of, what youre missing, etc.
It's cool! I'm on like day 11 right now, and I did the challenge partially because I wanted to have an excuse to hit one of my new years goals of posting at least 3x a month on tiktok so ive already hit one of them!
Today I did all the things for the #75hardchallenge except I'm still working on my water (I have about an hour left LOL). For my indoor workout, I did 45 minutes of power yoga and added a set of 15 FULL range goblet squats with a 20 pound dumbbell. For the outdoor workout, I skated on the tennis court at my apartment complex. I was looking for a recent skate video to post but it was an IG story from someone else and has since disappeared. My biggest reason for doing this challenge is to be more confident in posting stuff about MYSELF on social media in order to generate more business for my barbershop and inspire people to hire me for private and corporate yoga lessons. I'm EXTREMELY insecure in front of a camera. I know my abilities but I'm having a difficult time with convincing others that they should take a chance on me when there are SO MANY OTHER BARBERS/stylists in my area. I am one of the best but (in my mind) I don't have that X factor that immediately attracts people to me (crazies maybe lol). Anyway, for breakfast I had a smoothie with some strawberries, dates and some other stuff including a tablespoon of the #seamoss gel I bought from #blackmountainnaturalfoods and some #matcha powder. For dinner, my daughter and I checked out an Ethiopian restaurant that I've been wanting to try. Our vegan sampler was delicious HOWEVER I didn't order the teff injera (good but EXTRA) but it was brought out with our food and I was charged for it as well as the extra we were offered (without notice that it would cost more). They added gratuity automatically and while I usually tip over any service charge, the stuff I DIDN'T ORDER had already made my bill more than what I had budgeted for. So, sad to say, I probably won't be going back. Anyway, here are today's pics
DAY 9/75 hard challenge HOME WORKOUT😱😰 #fitness #YouTube shorts 💪🔥❤️

If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll know that I started this blog with the intention to change my life in 100 days.
I still believe this is possible, but I also believe in reflecting on my methods and changing them when it’s necessary. This is one of those time.
In 2020 I discovered the 75 Hard Day Challenge by Andy Frisella on TikTok, as multitudes of people around the world were looking for a routine to keep them entertained while the pandemic made so much of our lives uncertain.
Among them, I found peace in the regimented rules of the challenge and made it 50 days in before Melbourne was launched out of lockdown and back to normal. Once socialisation was allowed again, I will admit, I found it difficult to make time for two 45 minute workouts in a day, with one of them being outside. I also want to have a wine with my friends when we go out for dinner, so the no alcohol rule was a problem for me.
I have stopped and started the challenge about five times since I originally attempted it and have failed each time.
Until today, when another challenge graced my ForYou page on TikTok. a welcomed alternative to the 75 Hard Day Challenge, I found the 75 Soft Day Challenge.
In essence, it is a watered down version of the 75 Hard Day Challenge. The rules are:
1. One 45 minute workout per day for 75 days, with one designated rest day per week,
2. Read 10 pages of any book everyday,
3. Drink 3L of water a day,
4. Eat a balanced diet, and only drink on social occasions; and
5. Take a picture or video of yourself every day of the challenge.
These rules are far more stomach-able in the post-lockdown lives of many I’m sure, and I am restarting my journey on changing my life in 100 days once again, just with these altered rules.
Today, April 5th 2022 is Day 1, and I am more excited to partake in this achievable challenge over the next 75 days than I have been for anything else in a while. I have been yearning to get myself back into a routine, and I think this will be a softer, more easily transitional way to do that healthily.
Maybe once this 75 days is over, I will once again attempt the 75 Hard Day Challenge. Time will tell and we will both know in 75 days time.
So until then, stay updated with my progress here, on my Instagram, and my YouTube Channel alternately, I will be posting my progress here and there.
Please leave a comment if you have attempted either the 75 Hard or Soft Challenges and what your luck with either of them was! I’d love to hear more from others who have tried it!
Have a lovely week :)
