How did Calett deal with raising a baby Tiefling, having no experience?

Calett never planned to have kids before baby Wilde stole his heart and he was pretty out of his depth in his opinion. Hes a genuinely good person but definitely defaulted to the parenting style that was used on him which became a problem pretty quickly as it revealed the only two ways you can raise a tiefling when it comes to their hellish rebuke.

1. Fear. You double down and make them understand that if they use it on you theyll get hit worse.

2. You find an alternative to corporal punishment altogether.

Maybe hes spoiling his baby, maybe hes worried about their windows and mirrors breaking from Wildes thunderous rebuke, maybe theres been enough pain between the two of them and he cant find it in himself to add to it. Regardless of the reason Calett takes the second method and affectively breaks a long generational cycle of abuse. Raising Wilde is hard, but the migraines and gray hairs are worth the solid fact that Wilde has never flinched from his touch.

Im sorry this is the second thing of art with a crying young Wilde. I promise he had a happy childhood/upbringing all things considered. Lol
