[coming out of the code mines after two hours, clearly covered in some kind of programmer malaise] i added a screensaver mode to @miku-earth! go load it up, put it on full screen, and wait a minute for it to activate

made summary for dc circuits

studied for econs essay test tmr on aggregate demand and supply

burnt the candle while studying for econs

it smells like vanilla and chocolate and it's like a warm hug

im so surprised i was this productive

goes to show my ass needs to be on fire for me to focus

I was helping my brother with some AS Maths revision today which included the factor theorem. I remember not seeing a proof of it so I came up with a proof today! It's by no means as complex as the stuff I usually post but I thought it was a neat proof.

Note: Here, we use the convention that 0⁰=1 for convenience of notation.

one of my friends is a biologist & i was really amused hearing some of her stories yesterday because they put into context just how believable newt's kaiju drift is as Shit A Biologist Would Do. like my friend has personally met both a guy who got infected with a botfly larva and didn't do anything to remove it (because he just didn't mind), and another guy who identified a tapeworm species by intentionally exposing himself to it (he had it narrowed down to 2 species and needed to know if it was the one that would infect humans) (it was)

While I am introducing myself, I'd like to set our my game plan:

Considering it has been a few years since I have last been to school, I feel rusty and would prefer to go from the ground up.

I have found some online gcse revision books, notes and guides and would like to brush up on my gcse maths,biology, chemistry and physics.

My aim is to take enough notes and complete practice papers in order to retain the information(and maybe retake my failed maths)

Once I feel I am adept enough in the gcse sciences I will move on to taking alevel notes and memorise those. I will then enrol on am access to higher education course and complete that (I am saving money in order to be able to afford this as they are 1000 pounds)

In the meantime of me studying I plan on getting some field experience via employment (this one may be unrealistic as it is a hard field yo break into)

My main aim with all of this is to pull myself out of my slump and pursue a lucrative career within STEM. I am hoping this productivity will spark my passion again as I have lost all motivation within life.

I'm hoping this blog will aid in my motivation as I will feel obliged to post and update on my progress.

did some integration practice tdy and took the time to break down the formulae from the formulae booklet - seemed to help

shall grind more tmr

revised kinetics for chem and attempted some revision booklet qns - will try to attempt more tmr

cldnt do much due to volunteering tdy but id say my study time tdy is decent for volunteering days

spent some time farming for shopee coins in preparation for the 12-12 sale. im getting a medium jar of yankee amber and sandalwood candle and a large jar of christmas eve cocoa (dont celebrate chrismtas but love hot chocolate)

i don't think i have ever felt more apathetic towards a gcse than right now, with the knowledge that i have further maths in three and a half hours and i just could not care less

nuwho only enjoyers did u know the tardis crew used to consist of at least ONE non modern human companion.

there have been companions from different planets, different time periods, even different universes.
