oh god this is so many chapters. "how many" do not ask me this. measure it in multiples of ten in your mind's eye & I'll get back to you someday. I have more different metrics for you:

my outline* (!) is about to be 10k words and I'm MAYBE at the halfway point. there are like 20+ bullet points for Concepts I still probably want to incorporate somewhere but haven't quite figured out how to place yet and AT LEEEEEAST 9 chapter-shaped holes to fill (lowballing so as to not summon misfortune) (middle chunk of fic is the most filled-out**; latter ~half or so is still missing some Events to go with the General Idea (beginning chunk is missing mostly prose and slightly Thinking)).

* not all of the outline is Outline-Shaped a lot of the words are prose. or a lot of the other ones are me giving myself instructions / slapping run-on sentences together to capture a vibe. YOU KNOW

** THE CORE EMOTIONAL PIVOT-CONSTRUCT FOR THIS PART MAKES ME INSANE I'M SPINNING IT AROUND VIOLENTLY IN MY BRAIN AT ALL TIMES

problem defeated: timeline stuff. OR IS IT writing this made me realize that having figured out the timeline stuff for the beginning and middle does NOT mean I figured it out for the parts after that necessarily so much to think about so much to think about

problem to beat going forward: all the Scenes I thought of or placed nicely without having to reach much are in there already so now I have to be like proactive about the ideas FUUUUUCK AAAAUUUghh ok scream over. I'm ready to use my inside voice to go insane thank you for your time

trying to write fic involving chigiri backstory is fucking killing me kaneshiro i'm shaking you by the throat 1) why chigiri didn't join youth soccer leagues like everyone else in the damn story and just tried to go to a school with really good soccer instead SAE WAS PLAYING CLUBS AT 8 WHY NOT CHIGIRI 2) why is that school a vocational/technical/business school (and is it specifically a business school or is it general votech?!) and 3) why is that school called lacoste but like written in kanji to be rakosute. none of this make any ham sense to me and i have to work around it somehow to write this shit aaaauuughh

you mentioned i could assign you a blorbo from ATLA and i agree with that because it's like one of the only things i'm into that you haven't seen all the way through or extensively been talked to about. your ATLA assignment is mai! you'll meet her in season two, but there are a lot of ways in which she reminds me of luck (although she couldn't be more different than tsukasa), especially when it comes to having to act and behave a certain way and temper her outward emotions due to expectations placed on her, which have kind of made her a pessimistic person who doesn't really have all that much of a sense of self ...

i'm going to give you a blorbo from overwatch now and her name is fareeha amari ("pharah")---she's the daughter of one of the original members of overwatch who kind of as a result suffered from some amount of parental neglect as her mother ana tried to kind of shield her from that lifestyle and kept her out of a lot of things. they have a... tense relationship, but pharah herself is a very upright and determined sort of person who generally seeks to be a force of good in the world. also in game she flies.

you're only getting two because meechi. i love you but i don't have any other properties i can pull on.
