[ID: A collage of images of Pecan, a pale person in a tank top and leggings, as Pecan uses a green wheelchair with rainbow spokes or a silver folding frame wheelchair. Pecan's face is blurred out in all images. In two images Pecan is posing with an AFO, one standing and one seated. In the center of the image is the text "Wheelchair & AFO References. End ID.]
<<Link to the Google Drive>>
A friend lamented the lack of wheelchair reference images out there and so I went a little bit overboard.
Inside the Drive you will find various photos of me in two of my wheelchairs (my custom Quickie QRi and my off-the-shelf Karma Ergo S-115) and a few pictures of me with my AFO, moving with my cane, and three pictures of me with my foot dropped. There are also individual pics of my wheelchairs and my AFO without me in them. Some poses have me doing things, others are just me sitting neutrally in my wheelchair. There are individual pictures of some accessories such as my anti-tippers, armrests, and smartdrive.
I imagine it goes without saying but these are free to use as references - please do not repost them though.
A little more info under the cut!
All images have my face blurred, along with some other minor editing to reduce identifiable features. The front spokes are rainbow - the back spokes are black, sorry, my arthritis makes it way too hard to remove them.
Organizational notes:
All images facing the viewer are labeled "front"
All images facing away from the viewer are labeled "back"
All images at 90 degrees to the camera are "side"
All images at three quarters (3/4) are "34" with an "f" for front or "b" for back (e.x. "34b" would be facing away from the camera, halfway between side and back).
"Fixins" means it has all accessories - cushion, side guards, anti-tippers, and arm rests.

Love the fact the anime made the three AFO users share the same (or almost the same) shield quirk:
Nine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shigaraki.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All For One.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which is funny and notice I said the anime, because in the manga neither Shigaraki or All For One are using (or have) shield quirks.
They likely use air cannon or some blast quirk in those scenes ->
Tumblr media
But Bones specifically changed that into quirks that resemble Nine's Air Wall quirk.
I like to think it's a tribute to my king 🤍
Tumblr media
However the shield quirks of the other two seem to be much weaker that Air Wall.
AFO shield quirk in particular is probably the worst, as it only covers a very small radious and it was destroyed by one Jet Burn from Endeavor.
Meanwhile Nine's version of the quirk can cover a gigantic radious if he user wants:
Tumblr media
Also Air Wall can stack multiple shields into one and it was powerful enough to stop a charge from Deku going full 100%
Tumblr media
All this makes me think Air Wall is such a boosted quirk in general.
No wonder why Nine stole that one. Smart boy.

Villain Deku AU
Most of the time when I see the Villain Deku AU, he's often crazy, and while I do love that concept, I really want to see more sarcastic, cinnamon roll 'Moxxie from Helluva Boss' vibes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shigaraki: And that's the plan, any questions?
Deku: Uh, yeah, what was that?
Shigaraki: That wasn't a question, Deku.
Deku: That wasn't a plan.
...
Remember my League of Morons vs A Summer Camp post?
Deku can fix that.
Shigaraki: All right, smart ass, you think you can do better?
Deku: I actually can. Your first mistake is attacking the second night of the camp. Let them all have their summer camp fun. By the end of a single week of non-stop, hardcore training, they'll be exhausted and less likely to fight off a surprise attack efficiently. Now, before the camp begins, we'll need Spinner to drive out there. You're the only one of us who hasn't committed any significant crimes yet.
Spinner: Why is that important?
Deku: *smiling cheerfully* Because you're a civilian. The Wild, Wild Pussycats aren't going to think it's weird if a civilian drives up to their base asking for directions through the mountains. Just make sure you have nice, dead battery for your cell phone. Ooh, or you could park on the road with a low tank of gas and walk up to their base! That'll sell it.
Spinner: Sell what?
Deku: You're getting the exact coordinates of the building for Kurogiri, of course. Once we have that information, he can open warp gates beneath our target while he's asleep and let gravity do the rest.
Kurogiri: You suggest we strike at night?
Deku: Right. You want to kidnap Kaachan, so we do it covertly while everyone's asleep. After that, if you really want to send a message to the heroes, we can always seal up the doors and windows, then Mustard can gas the building. Or Dabi can burn it to the ground. Your choice. Painless death in their sleep or painful death by fire?
Dabi: ...holy fuck, that's insane.
All-For-One: *through the computer monitor* Intriguing proposition, Deku. I suppose you have a back-up plan in case something goes wrong.
Deku: About that, it's entirely possible one of the Pussycats or UA teachers will be on look-out and if that's the case, Eraserhead will be the biggest obstacle. Most of you rely extremely heavily on your Quirks. We'll have to work on that, but in our current time frame, doing so before the summer camp is not feasible. So we'll need to remove the one player who can nullify Quirks. That'll be Mr. Compress's job.
Compress: And how exactly will I do that?
Deku: You'll hit him with a surprise attack. Kurogiri will open a warp gate for you, and the second he does, then you strike. Simple.
Muscular: Yeah, and what about the rest of us?
Deku: You'll be on standby in case Compress fails or draws too much attention to himself. Now about our hostage situation...do we really want Kaachan?
Kurogiri: What do you mean?
Deku: Well I know Kaachan. Despite his violent tendencies, he does have a strong sense of justice and he won't be easy to corrupt. Might I suggest taking the heteromorph students instead? Given society's discrimination problem against what they call the 'non-human' types, they've already got a reason for dissatisfaction with how they've been treated since they were born. Oh, and we should take Yaoyorozu Momo, too.
All: ....why?
Deku: She's rich. Her Quirk is infinitely useful, of course, but even if we can't convince her to join the League, her family will pay us a hefty ransom to get her back. For the record, so will Endeavor if we abduct his youngest son, too. Or we could just ransom the oldest one if all else fails.
Dabi: How the fuck did you know?!
Deku: ...Todoroki Touya allegedly burned up in a massive forest fire and the body was never found. You have a fire Quirk and horrific, full body burn scars and are the age he would have been today. It's not rocket science.
Shigaraki: ...this brat just hijacked my entire plan.
...
He'd quickly become the Bilbo Baggins of LoV, the one who's solving all the problems right up until they get to the fight with Gigantomachia, at which point he says, "No, I'm not helping you this time. He's gotta respect you, this is your quest. I'm not the fighting type, so I'll just sit back and watch." Proceeds to sit quietly and take notes while observing the fight.
Dabi also wasn't helping out with that fight, so every now and then he checks in on their progress. He just shows up, mildly entertained and mostly annoyed by the collective ineptitude (not that he's any better,) and he walks up to Deku.
Dabi: So how many ways have you thought of to defeat him?
Both: *duck as Spinner goes flying over them*
Deku: ...47. How's that recruitment process going? Because you're starting to look way more useful as a bargaining chip for ransom.
Dabi: Says the guy who's just sitting here.

To think out of the 4 characters with white hair and red eyes, only one of them haven't had a color change of either feature.
Tomura had black hair and dark eyes like Nana when he was Tenko. After his quirk activated, he had light blue hair and red eyes. Later, his hair changes to white.
Eri keeps her red eyes from the manga to the anime, but her hair is more white in the manga and changed to light blue on the anime.
All For One keeps his white hair from manga to anime, however there's this shot in I believe early season 5 where AFO's eyes are shown to be red, but he has white eyes in the manga. But it looks like this season he will be having those white eyes.
Miruko is the only white haired, red eyed character I can think of that didn't have either color change.

A lot of major fans on Twitter were really against the afo body jacking because they didn't catch any of the subtle foreshadowing of it to be fair I was not expecting that either
It's not like I called it either. While other characters talked about their successors being "the next them" like All Might with Izuku and Endeavor with Shouto, the phrasing was always metaphorical. It wasn't really an established thing that someone's consciousness could be taken over like that (other than in spinoffs or implied by the sludge villain, but in the latter case it was more like piloting a corpse). But in retrospect it was clearly an escalation of the earlier themes of older characters attempting to force the newer generation to conform to their image.
The actual issue with that plotline was that it overstayed its welcome and Shigaraki didn't get to have enough thoughts about it.

Anyway I wrote about this in my fanfic notes but I think this is credible
En. He's a One For All user, young, and dies from being cut in half by All For One. He cries, but manages to pass on One For All to Nana with a smile, and hides Nana with his Quirk so she can escape.
So En. Sixth. This cutie patootie guy right here
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's been viewed as cool and collected and I'm gonna call a bit of bullshit on that.
First: he is young. He doesn't have the fullest emotional maturity (brain caps out in the mid-20s), and even if he did, he can still freak out. But that's not what I wanna talk about with him
It's more the time period in which he was born and grew up.
Kudo and Bruce, at the least, die 18 years before En receives One For All. En was born during All For One's rule, and grew up in a society struggling to cope with the new Abilities on top of Japan's crumble.
En was born at an anxious time, and grew up in the flames of it as society tried collecting itself. Since he was born while people were just barely adjusting to Abilities, and were flighty and shellshocked from the events, En was the same: used to Abilities, but quick to jump and flee. He was raised in a world like that, and thus was like the others of his time.
Look at En at his death. His Smokescreen is active. He died with his back turned. He was running away and using his Smokescreen as cover.
Tumblr media
He later asks, fearful and stressed, why Midoriya/Ninth doesn't just run away. And Tomura calls him out on this. We'll go back to this later.
En is a product of the time he grew up—a time of trying to pick themselves up in the midst of civil war, shifting humanity, where no one trusted anyone and everyone ran to save themselves.
His Quirk is literally Smokescreen. There's no application to it beyond making smoke from the user's body to hide in. It obscures others' visions.
His Quirk hides him from others. That's its main function. He isn't as brave as the others. He's a coward when pushed into a corner. Nana describes his last smile in ch. 92 as this:
Tumblr media
But All Might, who does this smile, describes it in ch. 1 as—
Tumblr media
—tricking the fear inside of him. En is a combination of both; he smiled to reassure Nana, but was no doubt terrified, as he died running and got cut in half.
Tumblr media
I imagine the reason En was the first One For All user shown passing off the Quirk with his hair was because he was too afraid to reach down and feel himself cut in half. He could've gotten the blood from there, but the cognitive dissonance alone of feeling air where your lower-half should be is terrifying as is.
By hiding her in his Smokescreen and giving his hair, En let Nana run away too, to safeguard herself and the Quirk. En ran, he made Nana run, and later on, he wants Midoriya/Ninth to run, even knowing there's no next user or chance to beat All For One/Tomura.
En knows All For One is powerful. He's scary. He killed Banjo-senpai, and Shinomori-san hid from him until he died of "old age". Everything is mustered in Midoriya/Ninth, but even then, En wants to run away because they realize they can be stolen and really die.
Now, going back a bit to [His Quirk is literally Smokescreen], they would've started calling Meta Abilities Quirks around the time En is growing up. All Might is alive somewhere when Nana receives One For All, and Meta Ability is the first term for Quirks.
Since Quirks are reflective of personality, and En was born in the coming down of the peak of fear that's trying to create some semblance of normalcy, it makes sense that, with his Smokescreen, he encourages Midoriya/Ninth to run. Because he did the same thing.
That's how he grew up, that's what he knows, it's the first thing he thought of when he realized they really were in danger. They were facing death in the eye.
Tumblr media
Tomura/AFO even calls him out for this. Look at En's face when he's called out; he's scared of him. En is scared of just catching his attention.
The OFA vestiges know they can see into each others' realms. They wouldn't be surprised by this. They look into AFO's, they know AFO can do the same vice-versa.
Tomura is basically saying he's about to catch all the vestiges (rats) by their tails to make sure no one gets away this time.
Tumblr media
Even if En was a vigilante or Pro Hero when he was alive (he's Banjo's kouhai, and Banjo was one of those), he has a faint heart when he feels cornered and running is an option, no matter how bad.
En acts calm and rational, and entered into the Vigilante/Pro Hero scene, but he is terrified when it comes down to it.
Like Kudo and Bruce with the Resistance, Shinomori with society's state then, and Banjo stepping up when Japan was "a lawless land", En is a product of the era he grew up; trying to find stability in a lawless land, where it was everyone for themselves.

AFO as the Control Devil, how would it be?
Tumblr media
you would think he'd be more unhinged, but actually, it's just a cosmetic contact lenses change. like, what's his motivation now?? what is one for all, if all for one is about ultimate control--
omg OFA is the fear of the collective. UNIONIZATION DEVIL. IT'S A METAPHOR

its a little funny how afo was probably going to end up being hisashi midoriya before whatever the plotline involving izuku's dad was got dropped during the end of act 2/beginning of act 3. like i have v little opinion on the dfo theory and honestly prefer it not being canon but i do think it was the plan at some point or another. which makes the fact that hisashi went completely unaddressed hilarious
