hii i’m new to the smosh fandom and i was wondering what are some like Must See videos i need to watch cause they are the only thing i’ve been watching for like three days straight

oh my god............. to have this task placed before me is an honor and yet. so many to choose from so little time. im sorry im just throwing everything at you at once i tried to narrow it down and failed MISERABLY so here you go:

i would say tntl is a must-see series in general, but it's a LOT of episodes, so i think the two best episodes to see are the 100th episode and the first episode including anthony. these are both heavy hitters, extremely funny, i cannot rec either of them enough

if you're in for a longer video, the cheating reddit stories is everything to me and the best example of this series i love so much. amanda and angela have such good chemistry and shayne is so good in this one, not to mention the stories.... oh my god im getting emotional just thinking about it.

im not really the person to go to for sketches (im more of a smosh pit/games person) BUT i will say the new food battle is incredible if you're into the sketches. no need to see the prior food battles (i haven't seen them in Years), all fun, just vibes

all the try not to win videos are so funny to me like the peak of unscripted content imo, but my favorites are don't win mario party gets physical and somehow we got WORSE which was just released. both contain shenanigans and violence and both make me laugh SO hard i bust a gut every time

Warning Saw X Spoilers of John Kramer Take

I will admit I am bias because I’m still angry about what happened to my fave character Adam, but I can’t help point out the flaws of Jigsaw’s own hypocrisy. However, just because I’m going explain why I think John is kind of a hypocrite, doesn’t mean I hate the character; in fact I think he’s the most interesting villain of the series. I just can’t stop thinking about this because I’ve had this opinion on John Kramer for a long time. I think John is a selfish and bitter person because of his situation that he even convinced himself that his actions are justified.

In Saw X, when John was tricked into thinking his cancer was gone, he was drawing one of his latest traps in his sketchbook. But decided to throw it away in the trash because he no longer wants to continue his work. If John truly believed he was doing the right thing, why not continue setting traps now that he no longer has to worry about dying? It proved that John was bitter of his own situation that he was going to die and all these people he believed that were wasting their lives, will never have to experience limited life. It made me think of the timer he gives his victims, like 3 minutes to live and he has 3 months.

And what about the people who have no choice but to be props for someone else’s test? John specifically targets people to test and is willing to sacrifice others for that one specific person. Test subjects like Lawrence, Jeff, William etc. A person’s life hangs on balance of someone’s else’s choice. Amanda had to kill a guy to get the key out to save herself, while he didn’t get the chance to fight for his own life. William had to choose which of his employees he had to spare while killing the others. Lawrence had to kill Adam a stranger to save his family who by the way were also props to Zepp’s test. I’ll come back to Diana later. And the people used as props for Jeff’s test were people that Jeff felt were responsible for the death of his son or let his son’s killer walk free. It was like John never saw them as people. He’s always on about respecting life, but how can he when he uses people as objects for another person’s test? And some of those people didn’t do anything wrong but be related or work for the person that John is testing. Like Joyce Dangen, she didn’t know that Bobby lied and yet when he loses his game she’s the one who has to suffer and die. And John can argue all he wants that the reason those people died was because of the subject failed their test, but that’s not true. John was the one who put them in those traps and kept them immobilized. He used them as tools for that one specific person he was testing. People he believed that deserved to be tested or to be turned into one of his followers. John wanted Lawrence to survive, because he needed someone like Lawrence skills for his tests.

John also has a black and white view of the world. He does not see grey, meaning he doesn’t really try to understand why a person makes the wrong choices in life. But he’s very quick to judge a person’s character just from first impressions, like Adam for example who he deemed angry and pathetic. The whole game was made for Lawrence and Adam was just added there and we don’t have much information on him like Lawrence. And he has a bias on people who have drug addictions. When Amanda tried to reason why Gabriela did what she did because of addiction, Jigsaw immediately shut her down. Yes what Gabriela did was wrong, but she wasn’t as messed up as Cecilia who did it for money and has no problem killing people.John had just said that everyone has free will, but how would he know if he never experienced addiction? Amanda understood because she was just like Gabriela. But it could also be because he still held a grudge against Cecil who was responsible for his wife’s miscarriage because he wanted to steal drugs.

Now the subject to children. I was glad to see that John had humanity to see that Carlos was just an innocent child who didn’t deserve to be put in a life and death situation. But it brings back the hypocrisy when we see Diana, Daniel and Corbett who again are used as props for their parent’s test. Yes they were saved, but they were traumatized through their ordeals and will mostly suffer from ptsd. And Daniel lost his dad and Corbett is now an orphan. And Diana only survived because Allison was able to get out of their restraints and Detective Tapp was able to rescue them on time. If none of that happened, Zepp most likely would have killed them because John told him if he did, Zepp would be given an antidote to survive his poisoning. John I don’t know if he would have given Zepp the antidote if he had killed the Gordon family, because he might have been disgusted by the death of a child. But Zepp followed the rules of his game and John would have just blamed Lawrence for their deaths instead or wouldn’t have cared because again they were just props. Never accepting that he was responsible for kid a dying and would have blamed either Zepp or Lawrence.

I would have said more but this rant is too long and I just wanted to get this off my chest. I do love Saw and I enjoy the characters, but I will bring up their flaws when I’m talking to friends about Jigsaw! And since Saw X made me sympathetic towards John it also reminded how unfair he was towards his victims.

I LOVE vampire and werewolf media! Do you have any uncommon suggestions I can check out? (Movies, shows, books, etc?) 🖤

Ok some of these might not be uncommon but more so less talked abt by fans? So pls don’t hate meee lol. First is Joseph Sheridan le Fanu’s Carmilla, a classic for a reason and very easy to find as a pdf online!!! Byzantium is a great vampire movie, for anime recs there’s Blood+ (super fun monster designs!), Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (fantastic gorgeous animation and perfect if you like tragic romance), Shiki (manga is great too!) 30 Days of Night is a great not very talked abt vampire movie, the Strain is an interesting gory vampire show I haven’t really seen ppl talk abt. Daybreakers and Afflicted 2013 are some movies i haven’t really seen talked abt. On the popular suggestions topic my faves are the first and second ‘Underworld’s and ‘Blade’s. Super fun special effects, awesome outfits, awesome fight choreography etc etc!! Then we have Van Helsing. Is it a great movie with good acting? No. Is it fun as hell? Yes!!!! From Demons to Dracula: The Creation of the Modern Vampire Myth, by Matthew Beresford is an interesting vamp lore book I’m looking into.

For werewolf recs I’m embarrassingly topical, Ginger Snaps, An American Werewolf in London and a rec I actually haven’t seen but the designs just look absolutely fantastic, Dog Soldiers. A kinda silly rec is Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfried (the wolf by fever ray is so fun omg). The Book of Werewolves by Sabine Baring-Gould is a book I’m thinking of buying :3 Some werewolf movies I haven’t seen but am thinking abt are The Company of Wolves, Cursed, The Wolfman (2010), Bad Moon, Wolf (1994), Brotherhood of the Wolf, Werewolves Within, The Howling (1981), When Animals Dream and Trick’r Treat!!

I love these films with all my heart and you can definitely tell that my faves are literally every jigsaw apprentice (Including Logan from the later films) and most of the male characters (I.E. Adam and Peter Strahm). I honestly think the first three movies tie in together better than the later movies (seeing as we keep this crazy shit going).

Oh, boy. You putting me in a very hard position here🥴 Clarifying that the names I put are not in order of favoritism or anything, just the ones I could come up with and think at the moment🤪

1.- Wanda Maximoff.

Cause of course how can I not put my favorite witch and one of my comfort character🫡🧎🏻‍♀️

2.- Natasha Romanoff.

Another comfort character🧎🏻‍♀️

3.- Nora Durst.

Cause how can I not add her if she’s one of the greatest characters I’ve seen in my life, I’m in love😮‍💨

4.- Peggy Carter.

She truly became one of my favorite characters that I could actually look up to, and of course a comfort character too🫡

5.- Rosa Diaz.

The episode where she came out, it left a big mark on my life. It somehow changed me and made me so happy, she has always and will always be my favorite character🫶🏻

6.- Casey Novak.

I remember seeing SVU and she was still the A.D.A and I- was in love. Even if I didn’t know at the moment because I was prettyyyy “straight” but I had the biggest crush on her. Still do🫢 Plus her voice? Her whole personality? Yes.

7.- Amanda Rollins.

There was always something about her that just made me love her, the way she was so strong but vulnerable at the same time🫡

8.- Olivia Benson.

The powerful and strong woman that she is, one of my favorite shows and favorite characters since forever🫡

9.- Alex Cabot.

When I rewatched since season 1, I didn’t think I’d like any other attorney since my fave was Casey but then I started season 2 and Alexandra Cabot changed that for me😬 Her whole personality is a mood, Casey and Alex are a power couple😮‍💨

10.- Captain Marvel.

I never cared about the hate she got, since I can remember, I’ve loved Captain Marvel, and when I heard that she was officially entering the MCU, it made me the happiest and that has not changed at all🫡
