had a doctor's appointment for mainly something else, but finally remembered to ask if there's something I could get for my acne, its been really annoying me lately. So now i'm on antibiotics for 3 months to see if it would calm down a little. fingies fucking crossed it has a useful effect bc i already know its going to make me feel incredibly sick in the mornings.

The thing I dont get is, if you're a person who struggles with genuine self care like hygiene because of an array of reasons like mental health (which I do not judge because like I am and keep being there), you would think when you DO manage to finally get the energy or will to get in the shower it means you're gonna have a proper scrub down. And yet, too many of yall are just using HANDS??? JUST LETTING WATER RUN ON YOU???? What the fuck is that gonna do for the accumulated dead skin, dirt, and oil that WILL build up when we've unfortunately neglected ourselves??? Like I promise you will feel 20x's better and more like relieved when you hop out of the shower if you use something with exfoliation.
