the fan letter and gift address of a.c.e has changed
most of the text are disclaimers (like, 'don't forget to write the artist's name'), but I marked the main thing: the address, which you can write in hangeul (upper line) or roman letters (lower line)

I think a lot of people on this website really need to understand and internalize the fact that many women can be, and often are, agents of the Patriarchy. Including otherwise marginalized women.
It also needs to be understood and internalized that this is not a novel or anti-Feminist idea. In fact, it is a long standing and well documented idea particularly in Black, Brown, and Indigenous Feminism. Especially in the Feminism of queer WoC.
You are not immune from this. No one is. Everyone participates in and can perpetuate Patriarchy. Everyone participates in and can perpetuate misogynist behavior. It came free with our Patriarchal, misogynist, society.
If that makes you uncomfortable, examine why. If you think you are impervious from participating in Patriarchy and misogyny, examine why. If you don't think you have internalized behaviors and ideas ingrained into you by virtue of living in a bigoted world just because you disagree with those ideas on a surface level - you are likely wrong. Examine that. Self reflect.
We're all forced into participating in and perpetuating systems we disagree with and without examining how we do so we will never achieve real liberation.

Honestly, the funniest thing DC could do right now is have a crossover episode between My Adventures With Superman and Batman: Caped Crusader with the explanation of "Oh, Caped Crusader isn't set in the 40s/50s or anything. Gotham is just Like That."

the way i see it, colin has three options for handling the repercussions of kissing michael on the pitch in front of everyone:
gatekeep: by some miracle no one caught the kiss on camera so colin's sexuality is kept between him and any fans who happened to be on the pitch near him. the safest option.
girlboss: keeley gets the pr challenge of a lifetime handling the story of the first active premier league player to come out as gay. rebecca is tall and powerful and intimidating in the press room making it clear that richmond stands behind colin one thousand percent. the most realistic option.
gaslight: straight-up blatantly lying. not because he's ashamed or because he thinks he can actually convince anyone that the kiss didn't happen, but just because he refuses to let it be a big deal. acts like he has no idea what anyone is talking about if asked anything related to his sexuality. he doesn't claim to be straight, mind you, he just pretends to be extremely confused about why they're asking because he never kissed anyone in the middle of a football pitch at the end of an internationally-televised game? when presented with photo and video proof of the kiss he says that was some other richmond player named hughes who wears a number 12 jersey. you don't know him, he goes to another school. the funniest option.

don't wanna derail the post I saw this discussion on- it was all in the notes anyway, so it certainly isn't op's problem. I'm gonna say this with so much love:
Calling somebody a 'theyfab' is not punching up. If someone's being transmisogynistic, say that, or call them a bigot. Naming the tangible harm done to you will always be the most effective thing to do.
The cis people who created that term made it with the explicit intent to mock and insult people's identities. No matter what you mean when you say it, this is its origin and to most people, its only meaning. It describes nothing about the discrimination you face.
People afab are marginalized, especially if they're queer. You cannot "punch up" on a fellow oppressed group. I understand the specific vitriol that they inflict on you hurts.
You don't need a word to call somebody, you need and deserve adequate justice for the tangible harm done to you; and my heart aches that nobody queer- especially trans women- ever seems to receive that.
I'm aware I can't make anybody do anything, so I'm not gonna try to tell you not to use that word. I just want to say it can't ever address, undo, or heal any harm done to you. It can only redirect it.
