Lena Katina - Lena became famous as one half of one of the biggest Russian pop bands - t.A.T.u. She and Julie Volkova became the band in 1999 as 14 year olds and attained widespread commercial success in Russia, Western Europe and Japan until the band disbanded in 2011. Since that time she has been involved in various solo projects as well as the occasional reunion of t.A.T.u. She has been an active supporter of the LGBTQ community and an opening act for Pridefest in Milwaukee, WI. Besides recording music in both Russian and English, she has been in a handful of films and has appeared as a judge in Russia's 'All Together Now' music competition and as a contestant in Russia's version of the Masked Singer.

Whenever this account reblogs something, it usually adds something along the lines of “we agree…” or something like that, so is this account run by multiple people or just one person who prefers to write like that? /gen

Well, it's kind of a hybrid answer. There really are several different people who are kind of responsible for the brainchild that is OMWC, both its initial conception, and ideas to keep it going, so we are something of a collective. But, there's really only one of us (me, ofc!) who handles the sm posting, but since I'm essentially speaking for the group, I typically speak in plural pronouns. (Plus, it makes us sound mysterious and important, right?! 😉)

The real question is: do I sometimes get tangled up in my head and forget who's supposed to be doing the talking? And that's a much shorter answer: yes! 😁
