Selective hearing or selective speech?

In All Dogs Go to Heaven, it's made apparent that different animal species can't converse with each other. Anne-Marie has to play everyone's translator and that's why she's valuable. Except not really, because for some reason the pink horse -who was voiced by a drunk man in my country's dub AND getting hit on by the posh horse- knew when Itchy was talking shit. Besides that, why is the random alligator an exception and can he be understood? Not to mention he's the ruler of/worshipped by a bunch of tribal sewer mice that assumedly don't even speak English, so it makes less sense his duet with Charlie happened, but maybe that's just my stages of grief and denial speaking.

Also, we at least know rats and dogs can't understand each other, yet in the sequel movie, there's a rat waitress working in a canine sex club, who is understood just fine. These 30-something year old movies offend me and I demand they go back in time to fix it.

101 Dalmatians and All Dogs Go to Heaven Cartoon Spin-Offs are NOT CANON with the Movies!

I always have strong mixed feelings about the spin-off shows for 101 Dalmatians and All Dogs Go to Heaven. They are both decent cartoons, but They Are NOT Canon with the movies.

The TV shows take place in a completely and entirely separate continuity and it's SUPER easy to spot the changes/differences between the events of the sequels and show. Not to mention, some of the characters personalities or relationships are a lot different than when they were last seen in the movies. I can't help but always feel a mix of anger, annoyance and disappointment... mainly with All Dogs Go to Heaven.

101 Dalmatians spin-off on the other-hand is FAR more likable and one that I'm happy to live with, especially since the TV series came out in 1997 and the sequel was released in 2002 so it's more understandable why the series isn't in the same continuity as the movies.

don't care what any one says, I have a soft spot for all dogs go to heaven 2. "It's too heavenly here" and "I will always be with you" are amazing songs. Plus the kiss scene with the reprise of "now that your loving me, it's so heavenly, so heavenly here!" Is everything!

Like that is epic romance for me right there. Like yes, the first movie is soooo obviously better. But this soft epilogue of a sequel movie, of Charlie being a guardian angel for Anne Marie's kid(my personal headcanon for the movie) of him finding a family and love again with her son and with Sasha is everything to me. It's just It's a good ending to the angst of the first movie ending which I love.

Dacy isn't a new character. I just updated her design to fit the movie style more. I also wanted my first attempt at OC x Cannon. As I really adore Itchy. He is just cutest pupper ever! So Dacy here plays the role of his girlfriend and also a singer at the casino they set up later in the movie.
