I personally hc them to have chronic pain from injuries and other issues they sustained during their time in the army in canon, and that naturally transferred over into me hcing that, at least in a modern au, they absolutely would use a wheelchair to get around as they find it most suitable for them. Crutches are another option but aren't used as often, and if they do, it's either mainly around the house or for shorter distances.

Cant stop thinking about emperor sy au...

Thanks to sy's modern knowledge of historical palace dramas and encyclopedic knowledge of pidw along with him having max stats on luck and charisma he survived the succession war (and somehow becomes an emperor? He is still confused on how he got it. Its not that he cut down his fellow princes nor did he scheme to get the emperor position but hes the only legitimate option left). SY doesnt have any experience on ruling kingdoms however (or anything really) but thankfully SY got an economics degree in his past life so hes not a fish out of the water.

Although the imperial rule doesn't affect the cultivation world directly, they're still impacted in the form of trade and manpower. The power to empower and cripple sects is in his hands. Ever since SY declaring SJ as his long lost brother CQM received a lot of lucrative trade. SQH is appreciative but hello?? He didnt write any long lost family members on SJ! So he got curious and begged the sect leader to send him instead of SJ to meet the emperor for trade discussion, and thats how he met his fellow transmigrator.

SY made him cough up all of his authorial knowledge and found out about OPM and HHP, although its already too late to save SXY as LBH has been born. Needless to say, HHP's coffers are running thin these days. With them having less money their manpower and support from noble families are slowly diminishing, the maintenance and security of the seals fell to disrepair, and SY (in disguise) with SQH's cultivation expertise managed to free TLJ. A few brief expositions later, TLJ and ZZL thanked both of them and slipped back go the demon realm. News of their freedom got out and HHP is scrutinized and support dropped even further than before.

SY did manage to visit QJP regularly to visit his brother and consequently, meeting LBH a number of times (making LBH absolutely smitten with him and considering joining the nonexistent imperial harem). With SJ more assured in his position (also maybe SY's promise of him always having a place in the palace and his family and less people being hostile towards him had an impact) SJ had less frustrations and projections to subject LBH and his students to. He still doesnt like the beast but his stupid brother (an emperor!) doted on him like a favored child so he tried his best to ignore him instead.

Things were going well until the immortal conference where instead of SQH orchestrating the attack, its TLJ and ZZL trying to get a hit on HHP's OPM and dragging LBH back to demon realm kicking and screaming. LBH is presumed dead.

SY found out of course but he didnt know the details (SJ remains tight lipped and insists that hes dead and thats all he should know) and thought LBH fell into the abyss and SJ pushed him like the original plot and grew depressed of thinking of his brother that he grew fond of turn into human stick. Also considering LBH's going to merge the realms and conquer the human kingdoms under one rule he might not have long either, he is, after all, a human male which by the novel's rules itself, a cannon fodder.

Years passed and the demon army, under the demon emperor LBH, conquered other human kingdoms and eventually showed up on SY's kingdom's doorstep but not for the reason SY's thinking of.

SY found himself still alive (!!!) and married (???) with LBH for alliance. CQM stays unmolested and unburned for years to come. SJ, however, remains a sour pickle with this whole arrangement, but at least hes left in peace.

Bonus :

LBH loves to roleplay as a concubine whenever he dropped by SY's palace. When SY visited the demon realm however, LBH loves to show him off that the demons thought of him as a concubine instead (much to SY's embarassment)

12. Hello, I am new here! But I have been trying to find this one fic, that I read a while back and am not sure if it was deleted or not. I think it was a time travel fix-it of sorts. All I remember is that WangXian got together either before or during the war with the Wens and after a battle or on their way to a battle, they are passive through a burnt down village where WWX senses or hears the call of a Fierce Corpse and calls to it. It is severely burnt, like chard black, burnt and it is carrying a bundle. It turns out to be LSZ as a baby. WWX realized that the corpse, a'Yuan's birth mother, was so worried for him that even after her horrific death her Fierce Corpse protected her son.

WWX promises her that he and LWJ would raise him and keep him safe, allowing her to pass on. As they leave WWX says that LSZ feels like he is theirs, and LWJ agrees that he is now theirs. I think it was a WIP or that it got completed not long after I read it originally, but for the life of me, I cannot recall the name or anything outside of this scene. I think it wasn't very nice to JWY/JC, but I could be very wrong about this...

Thank you so much for loving my ideas. I'm an avid reader of your blog and love making my own stories; I always check if you have anything interesting to read or any cool art.

While I was reading your genshin yandere otome game, my brain started churning, and I thought to myself, 'If there's a yandere school au, why can't there be a yandere fantasy au as well' I'm so glad you love my work, I was afraid that it wasn't good enough...ToT Anyways, I'm trying to brainstorm some backgrounds for other characters, so far I'm working on Kazuha, Wanderer, Ei, Dainself, Diluc, Kaeya, and Zongli, but feel free to ask/request for any particular character!!

I just came back from a jog so my mind is racing with ideas to share and add onto to the fantasy au from my pov! Firstly I’ll just list off the few possible candidates I can see vying for the readers hand in holy or unholy matrimony depending on what ending you get!

Tyrant Prince! Scaramouche

He’s shunned by the royals and commoners alike. The royals find him to be unfit for succession of the queens throne simply because he was adopted by the shogun and to add insult to injury he had commoners blood running through his veins or so they thought.

As for the reason why the commoners held Tyrant prince! Scaramouche in such low regards was because of his crass and cold behavior towards them. Just imagine the look of fear, embarrassment, and shock the commoners had when he looked at them like they were mere ants, an insignificant existence that wasn’t befitting of his presence nor his attention. And treated them as such.

Although To be fair, Tyrant prince!Scaramouche wasn’t always that way. In his younger days of youth he used to be sociable and warm towards his subjects. But an incident which brought his downfall into the dark abyss of turmoil. That was done by the hands of one who he thought of as a true friend. Caused his heart to grow cruel and cold towards commoners and nobles as a whole.

To make matters worse his relationship with his mother was already strained to the point where only bitterness remained lingering on his tongue whenever he spoke of her.

Not only that he wasn’t the only one the shogun adopted being the meticulous woman she is she rounded up potential orphans that would carry on her legacy. The succession battle was nothing less then pretty since everyone who was an orphan knew the terrible conditions of those who lacked power. And so every son and daughter had the intention to kill anyone getting in there way.

With those factors Tyrant prince! Scaramouche made a promise to himself to never let anyone in as he was all he had left to salvage what remains of himself. Until he met you someone who reminded him so much of himself and yet the only difference was you were strong enough to try and free yourself from what chained you down. Instead of wallowing in self pity, hatred, and helplessness.

However, with your help he knows that the both of you could take over his kingdom via rebellion and claim revenge on the ones who wronged you both. While You deal with your shameless parents who’ve tried to sell you off into marriage with a fat old rich king from afar. Just for a quick buck to prevent the decline in their poor province.

He will execute any and all loose ends so he can truly be set free as his own person. With Tyrant prince! Scaramouche by your side it’s a guarantee that the two of you will govern his country with nobody to stand in the way of y’all’s powerful reign. All you have to do is accept that your his precious tyrant queen if not well he has his ways of convincing you otherwise. As he’s not the type to keep his hands clean…

Fun fact for my TWST Monster AU;

Until the Lions have their own historian, history will always glorify the hunter.

Gnolls (Hyena people), Werewolves, Nemean Lions, Driders, Kelpies, and Harpies were the worst species about eating humans over history. Technically, Trey, Vil, and Rook should be treated with as little trust as the others treat Ruggie, Jack, and Leona regarding Humans, but it was assumed that Sunset Savana was the main location of the Human-meat black market given Sunset Savana didn't explicitly have laws against the general consumption of Humans as they were traditionally a food source long before the Kingdom itself was established. Since Leona is prince of Sunset Savana and Ruggie is a Gnoll (who were assumed to be the worst about attacking and devouring Humans in broad daylight) they are not trusted to be alone around the Human. Alternately, Jack- who is from the Shaftland- is also not trusted alone around the Human despite being considered a 'tame' species due to his affiliation with Leona and his more beastly appearance.

Falena works tirelessly to change the views others have of his Kingdom as it has been half a millennia since a Human was present in Twisted Wonderland let alone one being eaten. Leona knows he is a member of one of the last holdout species that ate Humans (as Humans were traditionally only a meal Nemean Lion royalty were technically allowed to have even in Sunset Savana), but he believes keeping this new Human safe and getting them to Sunset Savana would absolutely help change the way other Kingdoms view the Sunset Savana. Falena would be thrilled to hear a Human still lives and will be very keen to establish a positive relationship with this Human in order to aid his Kingdom. Sunset Savana is likely one of the most land and resource rich Kingdoms in Twisted Wonderland, so they can survive independently, but Falena knows there is a cruel stereotype against his people due to the poor decisions of Kings before him.

There was another group that was notorious for eating humans and that was actually a Merfolk Kingdom known as the Abyssal Sea Kingdom. That Kingdom has since been dissolved following the extinction of Humans by the other Merfolk Kingdom and Queendoms in retaliation for their crimes against Humans. Sunset Savana is what is considered an old Kingdom as they predate many of the current Kingdom and Queendoms still present in Twisted Wonderland.

Leona has zero interest in actually hurting the Human, more he wants to scare them away because he knows the way others look at him especially when the Human is involved and he doesn't want to be blamed should anything happen. He also understands that if he does actually cause harm to the Human, it will deeply impact his Kingdom. He may not be next in line for king anymore, but he sure as hell does not want his Kingdom to suffer from his actions.

It is quite possible that this little Human can help rid Twisted Wonderland of the stereotypes against Sunset Savana and other traditionally 'beastly' species like Gnolls (which are now found in every Kingdom, not just Sunset Savana) and Werewolves which are most commonly found in the Shaftland part of the world.

Thank you for the ask! :> I am going to split this not on Aether/Lumine lines but on Traveler/Abyss Prince(ss) lines, because, well, canon did set it up that way, and while if absolutely pushed, Lumine is my Traveler, I mostly prefer to be agnostic in my meta and fic about who is who.

How I feel about this character

Ah, yes, Traveler von Protagonist Disease.

The thing that complicates the Traveler for me is that I absolutely loathe the kind of semi-self-insert-but-semi-independent-character protagonist that seems to be getting popular in video games these days. Byleth in FE3H is another good example. I wish they didn't exist! I wish that it was either a full self-insert, character-builder and all, or that they gave us a protagonist with a personality in the style of Tales Of and Final Fantasy games in the first place. I really enjoy roleplaying a character as I play a video game, whether given to me as a fully-realized character or as one I made up myself, and this in-between kind of robs me of that because I can't go full "this OC of mine believes this" and I also can't try for accuracy to the character I'm presented on-screen.

That said, they have been getting better about this with the Traveler over the last few nations, and I like the increasing sense of actual, independent personality that we've gotten for them! Obviously a protagonist of this kind of game, where all the others have to like the player character to make the gacha appealing, is going to want to help others, so I actually particularly like the occasional thread we get where they're like "no, I don't actually care half as much for Teyvat as I do for my sibling, I don't not care but my main mission is still to get to them" because it's very refreshing to me.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Childe with the Lumine version, as two people who can and will absolutely fuck each other up in a play-battle, post-fight sex optional but fun. (Also I once read a Childe/Lumine AU fic where Childe was attempting to pursue The Greatest Game with Lumine and she turned the tables and pinned him down with knives through his hands, and it was incredibly hot.) Ayaka, as a one-sided crush on Ayaka's part. That's... really about it.

My unpopular opinion about this character

With a handful of exceptions, I... do not particularly enjoy Traveler-centered fic/art/meta. I don't know how unpopular that is but it's all I've got.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I know why Hoyo can't do this with their gacha game full of waifus and husbandos, but I wish we had at least one major/playable character who just did not get along with them. All their voicelines are along the lines of "you think I'm fucking telling you that?" I just want to see how it would play out.

Honestly much more fascinating to me, in part because they've been a lot more allowed to have some kind of personality from the beginning! I want to know all about what's happened to them, why they hold the positions they do, why they give their twin so few crumbs, etc.

This sort of overlaps with the second, but while I don't know how plausible or how unpopular it is, the mirror in the Caribert quest where the Traveler saw them in it combined with some minor previous stuff to unlock a Theory for me that the Traveler and the Abyss Prince(ss) aren't twins, but a single person with, for the Traveler, altered memories, whom the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles broke apart in order to nerf their power and/or for other reasons related to the whole "Fourth Descender broken up for parts" thing. Fascinating to me.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Related to the above: Hoyo, please give me this. For all the game's deliberate sibling analogies and their pleasing narrative resonance, this theory honestly has way more appeal to me overall.

My buddy! My bestest friend! :> I get mad when people are mean to her (in-game or people who choose those options in play). I get sad when she talks about being scared without us (@chrysoula has a theory that this is all foreshadowing a quest/arc where she's taken away and I think this is reasonably likely but I'm also dreading it). I refuse to believe the theories that she's evil, but I do love the theories that she's a reduced/de-powered version of Something/Someone in Teyvat's lore, that would be very fun. I want to give her so many hugs.

way number two: Abyss Princess Qiao Ling, Traveler Cheng Xiaoshi and Paimon Lu Guang {retains Paimon's floaty powers but is otherwise human sized} -> i like this storyline more bc it plays on the suspicious themes of Paimon's character whilst also sticking to Lu Guang's canon role as Cheng Xiaoshi's guide and best friend + it keeps the sibling aspect of Aether and Lumine that drives the traveler through the world in the first place :D

Hellooo I'm back from the abyss again. So yeah I made an Ace Attorney Atla Au yehaww. (or maybe this even exists already idk)

Both of these universes made me hyperfixate for a crazy amount of time (it's not over yet) and I just love how many parallels can be found.

Also man, Zuko and Miles are just the PERFECT parallel. At the end of AA1 Miles gave me veery strong awkward Zuko vibes xD I also apologize for the terrible name that is the imposing Firelord Manfred. (cries) In this Au I definitely want a redemption arc for Franziska too because I can't deal with her not being included in group hugs.

Also obviously I'm not shipping Avatar Phoenix and Maya which would be the original Aangx Katara pairing, but of course the Avatar and the fire prince himself ✨✨ I also made them the same age so it just fits better. Even the rivalry and the possibilities of angst are so fitting for Ace Attorney which sparks happiness. I can't stop thinking about how adorable the episode would be where they learn the original source of firebending with them dancing together and having that beautiful moment in the flame vortex of the dragons arghhhhhh

Oh yeah and Maya and Larry are siblings here which is kind of crazy x'D Mia would be the oldest sister, and I think instead of the mom, Mia was killed by the fire soldier. I wanna keep the channeling concept but I don't know how to make it fit yet.

I'm also in love with how similar Aang's and Phoenix' struggles are with their responsibilities. Both kinda start as naive and idealistic protags but are severely traumatized as they meet the real world, still they don't give up on world peace/justice and find their motivation in the found family they made.

I also wanted to add Pearl in but didn't know how..if anyone has an idea feel free to comment ><

Btw I'm now done with Justice for All and at the beginning of Trials and Tribulations, and I must say, WOW. It just gets better and better

baron trio fits little mermaids AU a bit too much as in i can't decide on any possible setting so like. it remains nebulous.

Kain as the mermaid fits very well, both for the part where he saves the person he loves but someone else receive the recognition and closeness for it, and for the part where he physically cannot voice his feelings because he wanted to remain with the person he loves. It also works very well both for Rosa and Cecil being the person he loves (Rosa as a fisher who Cecil, living in the castle found on the shore after Kain left her there; Cecil as a prince who falls for the town girl that found him on the sand). Also it's very easy to still end with him being in love with both because that's twice the feelings he can't voice. (and now i remember the ending and yeah i'm changing that too)

Cecil as the mermaid would need a bit more twisting but it'd work best for childhood friends reasons. Either something light hearted (he wanted to join the knights and meet Rosa and Kain) or more dramatic (he was abandonned to the sea as a child and found by the King and all that)... The base dynamic wouldn't fit but instead there's the... Rosa and Kain as childhood friend that now has a third wheel to the triangle and it creates Situations.

I feel like Rosa would only work in a reverse scenario... Her whole point to me is to be the normal one. So something closer to- she saved Cecil by a storm and then fell down the sea to discover underocean world or something. Actually I just think about a setting where Rosa is the one who struggles to communicate with Cecil while he's already closer to Kain is a fun variation.

Oh and for case 1 and 2 the one that does the deal against legs is Golbez who is some kind of sea monster living in the abyss or something I don't know that is important to me alright.

He was only a squire of Daeron the Daring, a heroic knight who earned his name by bravery and valor in battle. Daeron was also a prince, while Joffrey was officially declared a bastard and stripped of all titles and privileges. He was kept in King’s Landing as a prisoner, while his brothers, also declared bastards, were sent to the Wall and Old Town respectively. Jacaerys was made to join the Night Watch, and Lucerys was sent to study in the Citadel. Joffrey was made Daeron’s squire, and was to live under his uncle’s supervision.

The lords and smallfolks alike praised for King Aegon’s mercy towards his half sister and her unholy bastards. Rhaenyra was in exile, never to set foot in King’s Landing again. His mother and his older brothers were all gone, so it was on Joffrey to look after his younger brothers, Aegon and Viserys, who were the King’s wards.

One glance from these obsidian orbs was enough to drag men into the abyss of Joffrey’s charms.

Joffrey had taken to bed so many knights that he had lost count. Those knights were called merry knights of the bastard, as they all competed for Joffrey’s affection.

Joffrey took extreme effort to make sure Daeron was one of them.

“That’s what you get for sleeping in the stables.” Joffrey replied coldly.

“Are you playing hard to get now?” Daeron tightened his arm and slapped Joffrey’s ass hard with his free hand.

“Are you the only one allowed to flirt with a stable boy now?” Joffrey half turned his head to spit at Daeron, “You can harass me but I can’t kiss a boy?”

“You are not a stable boy.” Daeron declared, tilting his head forward to lick Joffrey’s mouth.

“No? I have slept in the stables for the past week and done the work of a stable boy. If that doesn’t make me one, what else does?”

“No.” Daeron’s tone was calm compared to Joffrey’s outburst, “You are too high to be a stable boy.”

Joffrey’s breath caught as Daeron’s face came dangerously close.

“I am too low to be your plaything, my prince.” Joffrey threw Daeron a death glare, “Let go of me. I am your prisoner, not your toy.”

But Daeron didn’t let go. Joffrey didn’t know if Daeron was doing this out of spite, or his youngest uncle truly took a liking to him. Daeron grabbed Joffrey’s wrist and dragged him to the corner of the stable, where lay a stack of hay. He turned Joffrey over roughly before taking a hold of the brunette’s ass and began to grope.

Joffrey tried to push him away, but Daeron the Daring was no ordinary knight. He had trained hard and sharpened his skills during these years, and now he had become stronger and more skilled in arms than Joffrey. He was a true prince, while Joffrey was a loser and a bastard.

“I can kill you now.” Joffrey whispered, pulling the dagger he kept in his boots all the time.

“Be my guest.” Daeron shrugged before sliding his finger into Joffrey, a confident smile on his lips.
