Time calculation in The Ling Mahapuran
Old Indian scriptures and literature are little explored. Majority of the people who follow Hinduism barely get in to the depth of it. Apart from religious values, it contains very rich information which help up to get an idea about the advancement of the civilization back then. If you open up any of the book and start reading, at the first glance it would appear a religious text. As you continue…

i had a vague idea last night on chiss space-traveling system. it's really just an idea and maybe it breaks the existing lore so. if there's any chiss expert here PLEASE tell me if it's something that could exist because i wanna know if i can put it to use in my story
i know they use force sensitives with that third sight power, but like. idk. i understand that they are trained and sometimes they fail but like that's SO complex. you're traveling faster than light - you can have jedi like reflexes and shit but that's still hard af.
so i was imagining (because lately I've been trying to better understand chiss lore, which i LOVEEE) wouldn't it be easier if there were like some stations in between planets, especially important colonies, to allow the force sensitives to have to navigate between smaller points, and not completely in the dark?
idk if any of you know sky: children of the light's trial of fire, so here's the link (skip the intro part). now imagine that instead of the checkpoints with rocks and candles you have little artifical moons/planets/asteroids (depending on how important that station is), and force sensitives are supposed to reach that and then re orientate etc.
BUT to make it cooler and most importantly, easier to sense for the force sensitives, imagine that those artificial ecosystem are made to be inhabited by different creatures that can't stay on their planet of origin (like. maybe because the environment changed and they are endangered, or they're too dangerous so they like. put them there). so they're full of life. they'd be like lit candles in the dark, literally.
THIS CAME TO ME BECAUSE TWO WEEKS AGO I SAW SUCH A COOL VIDEO (a 12 hour analysis of the phantom menace that's like. so fucking well-researched??? considering its length it's impressive really, so here's the link) that spoke (at 1:19:22) about that Boss Nass's phrase about going through Naboo's planet core. But to synthetize: basically in the lore, Naboo is supposed to lack a molten core, and at the center of the planet, plasma is being emitted, and it creates infinite tunnels that can connect even theed and otho gunga. but besides other worldbuilding problems that this rather absurd idea would create - that i won't recap here - in the video, there are some ideas on how to make it make sense (like. "going through the planet core" is simply a figure of speech and not what actually happened), BUT between those, there is one in particular that struck me: at 1:30:40, he proposed Naboo could be a constructed planet - like a planet-aquarium.
then, the video explains why it can't be the case for naboo but. GUYS!! if there's a species that could pull off something like that it's the chiss, with their sense of order, their need for knowledge, and organization abilities.
the maintenance of these stations with particular ecosystems could then be left at the nearest colony of csilla (kinda like the romans delegated the maintenance of their streets to each town it crossed and benefitted off of it), and be used as a "lighthouse" for new sky-walkers to train their third sight. researchers would benefit from keeping these animals alive + they could be kept in various different scenarios depending on how the specific station is made. if it's big enough, those creatures wouldn't be even captive, in a certain sense. especially since these stations need to be big enough (and full of life) to be perceived by the force sensitives, they'd just become replicas of the planet, where researchers, even in the creation of such stations, can really have a boost on their understanding of those ecosystems, through the feedbacks and experiments on the stations.
i have made a few sketches to visualize the idea

(ugly quality and poor rendition ops. in my defense it was late)
i know i wrote A LOT and prob not many will read this BUT if you've come this far, what do you think?
#also. the more i read about the chiss the more they sound similar (not the same obv) to the ancient romans to me. I WANT MORE CHISS STUFF#also. this tbh slightly recontextualizes thrawn's opinion on the death star. i mean. they'd both be big; costly projects to build and creat#but while one would benefit research; knowledge; space traveling etc. one literally destroys and fucks with difficult balances of entire#systems. while the chiss would creatw a similar project that benefit everyone in their “empire” and wouldn't be obviously targeted by the#people unhappy with your rule. the galactic empire makes a big expensive moon that WOULD SO OBVIOUSLY be targeted by every rebel in the#galaxy. like. it was so obvious. idk it's so funny to me#star wars#sw#star wars worldbuilding#chiss#chiss ascendancy#thrawn#mitth'raw'nuruodo#tagging some thrawn characters so that chiss experts can come obliterate this idea in a constructive way :>#star wars story#eli vanto#thrass#ar'alani#thrawn trilogy#whatever I'm tired of tagging#swtor#star wars the old republic#star wars oc#g posting

I have a Theory about a controversy I have to study for my exam. Do I have the technical knowledge to prove it? Ofc no. Have I at least read the most recent bibliography on the matter? No, or better said there's an archeological survey study that would be a must but it's not in the syllabus.
Have I still spent yesterday's night trying to draw whatever the text is describing (with multiple spreadsheets)? Absolutely yes
#I have no knowledge of ancient measurement systems#I have no knowledge of topography#I have no knowledge of how the terrains were measured#But I am young and arrogant#I guess I could frame my idea as a random hypothesis that I have absolutely not spent way too much time on#Love oral exams for this#Epigraphyposting#Academia

Shen Jiu in Greek Mythology AU:
What if Shen Jiu heard about the minotaur and of the king Minos terrorizing Athens and demanding young Athenians to sacrefice to the creature and decided to go to Crete to take care of the monster after some Athenians women he befriended begged him to save their daughters and sons from being sacreficed to the minotaur by disguising himself as an Athenian girl and going to Crete with the next group of young Athenians send to be sacreficed?
What if when Shen Jiu faced the beast it turns out that 1) the minotaur doesn't eat humans like the rumors said, 2) while the minotaur, Asterion, indeed kill people who cross his path it's because of a torture device put on him by King Minos himself which is so painful that it's put Asterion in a never ending berserk state and a once the torture device is removed Asterion turns out to be someone with a chivalrous and intelligent personality(like his version in the Hades game) and the true monster in all this is King Minos? (Yeah, I'm a sucker for the "the minotaur is not the real Monster scenario! ^^)
BONUS: If this happen when Theseus go to Crete to free Athens from Minos's tyranny and the prince meet Shen Jiu what if this turn into a wierd buddy movies scenario ? X)
...Shen Jiu would never turn into "buddies" with anybody. He hates people. Sure he prefers women to men, but he's highly aware that everyone is selfish and has their own motives.
Why would anyone truly wish to befriend him if not to further their own goals? (Cough of course Shen Jiu's insecurity and inferiority complex came with him to Greece.)
There's also the fact that Shen Jiu IS a god now, ya know? Humans and gods? Not friends period. There's too much power disparity, god worship mentality, and also Shen Jiu hates men and hates people who can't save themselves even more - ala Luo Binghe style.
Plus Shen Jiu's kind of - well I wouldn't call it pragmatic - brutal version of kindness would be to put the minotaur to a quick merciful death. A torture device would entail a lot of healing, perhaps still permanent injuries to be managed as a lifelong chronic issue, and there's still the question of emotional and financial stability, trauma responses that become dangerous when factoring in the minotaur's strengths...
Death would truly save a lot of future problems.
[More in #Shen Jiu gets spirited away to Ancient Greece AU]
#yall are really testing my nearly nonexistent greek myth knowledge here but Shen Jiu has no knowledge of what's going on here either#so i guess i'm in the same boat with him which makes writing his POV/reasoning easier? The Pursuit of Knowledge Without Wisdom or Virtue: An Intellectual Tragedy
Today’s topic is one of those that more often comes out during Sangha meetings or in lay discussions: knowledge, when isolated from wisdom (sophia / σοφία) and virtue (aretḗ / ἀρετή), is no longer a guarantor of human flourishing but may become a tool of hubris (hybris — ὕβρις) and ruin. Photo by Magda Ehlers on Pexels.com Knowledge (epistēmē / ἐπιστήμη) here must be distinguished from wisdom:…

Working out how the role of magic affects the world building and plot of my fantasy story 🥰
#I got inspired by a video about people in comments section asking redundant questions when the video literally answers and spells it out#and it just made me think of how magic works in my story#it’s a dying tradition and people are used to a select few to maintain the ancient systems that provide conveniences to the city#and it’s not they’re fault it’s like this; knowledge to magic and how to acess & wield it is restricted due a past big devastating event#that was so impactful that it’s still in the cultural memory of the city#there’s a lot of holes to fill still but I think the conflict of the story is starting to feel less hazy#I have to determine concrete details and plot elements but I’m happy that I got this written down instead of falling asleep to the thought#one of the main characters of the story is trying to revive the old traditions and give magic a better pr but fails so disastrously…#I’m gonna write it once I set the stage with everything#and draw my ocs to that story!!!#I have already shared a couple sketches of some of them#click clack

"Boil water to turn fan" as if multistage steam turbine generators are not one of the sexiest kinds of machines every made

nuclear power is impressive until you get up to why. "we use the most precisely engineered machinery ever created to split atoms to release energy" oh yeah how come? "boil water to turn a fan" get the fuck out
#its genuinely crazy the math and engineering that go into making these absolutely massive steam turbines#its an incredible balancing act to optimize between the interconnected variables of pressure velocity and temperature in order#to extract as much energy as possible from the steam as it moves through the system#especially like. those generators need to maintain a very precise rotational speed in order to prevent the coupled generator#from going out of phase with the power grid#(3000 RPM for 50 Hz grids and 3600 RPM for 60 Hz grids)#like the reactor part sounds like a lot of engineering work (and it is!) but like. the turbine is fucking incredibly impressive too#each one of those turbine stages needs to have very specifically shaped blades in order to control steam pressure drop and steam velocity#and the blades need to be able to physically handle being in a wet (at least for nuclear plants where the steam is pretty wet) high temp#environment and constantly being spun at high rotational speeds for decades at a time.#we had to develop specialized nickel titanium superalloys with tightly controlled crystalline structures in order to build turbines this big#stare into the depths of “wow we really just use steam to spin a big fan that sounds simple” and you encounter#the lifes work of thousands of mathematicians computer engineers material scientists and mechanical engineers#the first device we could call a steam turbine was made as a toy in tthe first century ancient greece and egypt#the first steam turbine with a practical use was described in 1551 in Ottoman Egypt. it was used to turn a spit of meat over a fire.#the first modern multistage impluse steam turbine was made in 1884 and revolutionized electricity generation and marine propulsion#in the 141 years since there have been more improvements than one could even list#from major design changes credited to great men to miniscule efficiencies and optimizations gained from tweaking the composition of an alloy#idk. i think its beautiful to think about the web of human knowledge woven collectively by thousands of hands across history#could you imagine what the ancient greek engineers who first put together the prototype for an aeolipile would think to see what we have#made now. could they even recognize our designs as belonging to the same category of object as their little toy#anyway#appreciate the humble steam turbine with the same eye you give to the reactor core#mine#just my thoughts

Uncovering the Suppressed Truth: Has Humanity's Ancient Past Been Erased by Cosmic Powers?

Uncovering the Suppressed Truth: Has Humanity's Ancient Past Been Erased by Cosmic Powers?
For millennia, the story of human civilization has been told as a linear progression: from primitive hunter-gatherers to the sophisticated societies we inhabit today. Yet, lurking beneath the surface of official history and popular belief is a profound and unsettling anomaly.
If modern Homo Sapiens emerged at least 200,000 years ago, as archaeological and anthropological evidence suggests, where did the vast expanse of their early history vanish? Why does the archaeological record show a startling leap in cultural complexity – the Upper Paleolithic, typically associated with our species – only appearing a mere 50,000 to 40,000 years ago? And how did humanity, originating from a single point in Africa, seemingly explode across every continent with such bewildering speed?
This gaping chasm in our recorded past begs critical questions that mainstream academia often struggles to address. Consider the intellectual capacity of our earliest ancestors: while they possessed far less accumulated knowledge than we do now, their cognitive abilities were remarkably similar to modern humans. Despite the absence of formal schooling, knowledge has always been transmitted across generations, passed down through oral traditions, legends, and cautionary tales. The very capacity for articulate speech, crucial for complex information transfer, is believed to have developed in early Homo species between 1.7 to 2 million years ago. Even Neanderthals, our ancient cousins, possessed distinct speech capabilities. So, how can we reconcile an evolutionary timeline spanning 200,000 years with our species’ seemingly abrupt leap from rudimentary existence to space travel in just a single century?
The Echoes of Lost Civilizations: A Sinusoidal Saga?
The staggering 200,000-year timeline for human existence appears disproportionately long when viewed through the lens of our current technological acceleration. Scientific consensus, surprisingly, often suggests that a mere 30,000 years might be sufficient for a species like ours to evolve, develop complex societies, and spread across the planet. This begs a tantalizing question: if that estimation holds true, could humanity have given rise to over six advanced civilizations, similar to our own, during that colossal historical vacuum? The high probability of their existence, and their subsequent disappearance, sends shivers down the spine.
Consider the Sumerian civilization, whose early dynastic stage unfurled approximately 5,000 years ago in the 28th century BC. Their later achievements bespoke a highly developed society. The city-state of Babylon, for instance, boasted a population of 150,000 people and a formidable 97 kilometers of fortress wall by the 24th century BC. These ancient cultures cultivated sophisticated sciences, advanced medicine, and intricate astronomical knowledge, constructing towering ziggurats as high as 90 meters. How then, could humanity descend from the architectural and intellectual heights of Babylon to the squalid, plague-ridden, and frankly “miserable, dirty, smelly, vile hole” that was medieval Europe by the 10th century AD? This dramatic oscillation, this bizarre “sinusoidal” pattern of human development, defies conventional historical explanation.
The Anunnaki Hypothesis: Architects of Our Destiny or Overseers of Our Downfall?
Perhaps the answer lies not in terrestrial regression, but in extraterrestrial intervention. Could the enigmatic Anunnaki, figures woven into the very fabric of Sumerian mythology, be responsible for this perplexing historical rollercoaster? What if human development surges when their home world is distant, only to plunge into darkness and reset when this “wandering world” approaches ours, bringing these “alien gods” back to Earth? The chilling implication is that these cosmic visitors intentionally suppress our advancement, ensuring humanity never reaches a level where it could truly compete with them.
Alternatively, or perhaps concurrently, what if human civilization itself possesses a self-destructive gene? What if, upon reaching a certain technological zenith – imagine our current reliance on complex AI and digital infrastructure – a cataclysmic event or internal folly forces a reset? Those who survive such an apocalypse might find themselves utterly unable to comprehend or reactivate the remnants of our current knowledge. Imagine a future survivor staring blankly at an inert computer, utterly devoid of the understanding needed to even turn it on. The loss would be absolute.
Intriguingly, the period of this “wandering world’s” revolution is said to be 3,600 Earth years. According to some reports, this colossal celestial object is anticipated to re-enter our solar system around 2080. What fate, then, awaits humanity when these ancient cycles inevitably repeat?
The Pentagon’s Whispers: Are the Anunnaki Truly Returning?
The narrative deepens with a startling claim from a man with alleged insider Pentagon sources. According to Stan Deyo, a persistent “buzzword” within the hallowed halls of the Pentagon suggests that the very Sumerian Gods, the Anunnaki, are preparing for their return to Earth. This unsettling assertion aligns uncannily with observations of two celestial objects that have recently captivated astronomical attention: comets ISON and Encke.
One must question the seemingly arbitrary naming conventions. The word “on,” for instance, resonates profoundly with “An,” pronounced “on,” as in Anunnaki, and their revered leader, Anu (pronounced “ON-nu”). Furthermore, the prefix for ISON, “IS,” aligns directly with Isis, a mythical figure often equated with the Sumerian Goddess Inanna and Ishtar. Thus, breaking down ISON into “IS + ON” eerily spells out “Ishtar, of the Anunnaki.” Comet Encke offers an even more direct connection for those immersed in Anunnaki lore: Enki, pronounced “En-ki,” was a pivotal Sumerian God, later known as Ea (a name strikingly similar to “Earth”). Enki was revered as the deity of crafts, mischief, water, intelligence, and creation. Are these mere coincidences, or subtle nods to a deeper, concealed truth?
The Western Sky Enigma: A Star or a Spaceship?
Adding to the intrigue is a celestial anomaly that has captivated observers across the globe: a mysterious “UFO” currently visible in the western skies. Mobile astronomy applications like SkEye and Stellarium confirm that no major stars or planets are currently positioned in this particular region of the sky, rendering the anomaly truly unidentified.
While some speculate this object could be a benign Pleiadian or Arcturian vessel, the possibility of it being the vanguard of the returning Anunnaki remains a chilling consideration. Countless global reports and videos attest to this UFO’s baffling ability to change color and size, even revealing various sacred geometry shapes and intermittently shifting hues. If this celestial mystery is indeed the Anunnaki’s harbinger, one can expect immediate governmental obfuscation. A new, fabricated “star” will likely appear on our astronomical applications, serving as a convenient cover-up, meticulously designed to conceal the profound truth: we are not alone in this galaxy, nor this universe. For many, this reality will prove too much to bear; others will cling to denial. But for those capable of looking beyond the rigid confines of accepted paradigms, all possibilities exist, free from fear or apprehension.
Unraveling the Systems of Control: From Ancient Texts to Modern Tyranny
Governments, by their very nature, rarely offer us unfiltered truth, often burying crucial information under the convenient pretexts of “confidentiality” or “security risks.” It is therefore entirely plausible that most world governments possess foreknowledge of the Anunnaki’s impending return, yet remain terrified of revealing it to the public. Such a revelation, they fear, would inevitably collapse the existing economic slave systems and dismantle the world religions as we know them, fundamentally altering the very fabric of global power.
A thought-provoking excerpt from the Christian Bible, King James Version, invites deeper scrutiny. Genesis 1:26 famously states: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…” This plural pronoun raises a crucial question: if there is but one singular God, why does the text not read, “Let Me make man in My own image”? Is it conceivable that the Bible itself, meticulously crafted and refined over centuries – notably with the King James Version being edited by the 33rd-degree Freemason Sir Francis Bacon, whose order’s motto is “ordo ab chao” (order out of chaos) – was designed as a sophisticated tool for human control through fear? After all, the very essence of religion, like government, often revolves around subservience, control, and conformity.
The Gold Slaves and the All-Seeing Eye: A Legacy of Manipulation?
Sumerian tales paint a dramatic picture of cosmic familial strife. Enki, the rebel deity, reportedly defied his father Anu, choosing to love humanity, the very beings Anu intended for servitude. Their conflict, a war that has allegedly raged ever since, echoes through millennia. Anu, one of the primary “creator gods,” is said to have deliberately manipulated our DNA, engineering humanity to be diligent slave workers, toiling in the Earth’s mines to extract precious gold for the Anunnaki’s use.
This chilling narrative prompts a compelling question: could this ancient agenda explain the Roman Catholic Church’s staggering accumulation of gold? With some sources estimating its holdings at a colossal 60,350 metric tonnes, the sheer volume of this precious metal within a religious institution is certainly noteworthy. Furthermore, the ubiquitous “all-seeing eye” atop the pyramid on the back of the US Dollar bill frequently triggers speculation. Is it merely a Masonic symbol, or could it represent the very entities – the Anunnaki – who have allegedly maintained humanity as economic slaves for thousands of years, pulling the strings of our financial systems from behind a veiled curtain?
The Awakening: Reclaiming Our DNA and Our Destiny
Regardless of how these profound mysteries ultimately unfold, a significant shift is undeniably underway. People across the globe are awakening to the pervasive tyranny and systemic oppression embedded within governmental structures. There’s a growing realization that our current modes of life, sustained by fiat currency and a deeply entrenched economic slave system, are fundamentally unsustainable.
A mere few thousand world leaders, it is argued, currently perpetuate this economic enslavement, while knowingly allowing the widespread pollution of our water, air, and food supplies. Meanwhile, the mainstream media relentlessly deploys fear as a potent tool, churning out state-sponsored propaganda designed to maintain the status quo.
Yet, there is immense power in unity. Humanity possesses the collective capacity to transcend this engineered reality, and it could literally happen overnight. But first, the vast majority of the “bottom of the pyramid” – all of us – must unite. We can no longer afford the corrosive divisions fueled by hatred of other countries, ethnicities, or races, for these engineered conflicts serve only to prevent our collective advancement as a single, interdependent civilization.
The Hopi prophecy resonates deeply with this burgeoning realization: “We are the ones we have been waiting for.” In other words, the power to fundamentally alter our reality resides inherently within us, requiring no benevolent intervention from the Anunnaki or any other supposed extraterrestrial race. But the first, most critical step, is to truly unite as a global community.
Nibiru Reimagined: A Planetary-Sized Spaceship?
Further “leaks” and speculative research suggest that the perception of Nibiru as a “destroyer” approaching Earth may be a profound misconception. Instead, a revolutionary theory posits Nibiru as not a wandering planet, but a colossal interstellar spacecraft of exorbitant dimensions. This immense artificial construct, built and positioned as a “planet” around our binary star (currently residing in the Kuiper Belt), functions as a divine “ax” or instrument of punishment and judgment, powered by two solar energy systems. Larger than Earth and equipped with “timeless” technology spanning millions of years, its operational lifespan is considered endless.
This cosmic leviathan is not merely capable of attacking or punishing planets; it can reportedly alter their orbits and inclinations, or even transform them entirely. It supposedly commands an incredible array of energies, lasers, and functions, meticulously developed and incorporated throughout its vast history of travel. Furthermore, it boasts universal communication systems and specialized espionage units, complete with Star Trek-like camouflage capabilities. While its orbital period is often cited as 3,600 years, even this may not be a fixed constant.
Onboard this titanic vessel, the Anunnaki are said to reside, alongside a vast menagerie of diverse aliens and humanoids from across our universe: reptilian, insectoid, gray, Pleiadian, Sirian, Arcturian, and countless others. It’s speculated that this cosmic ark represents a living collection of all life forms and technologies encountered throughout our solar system and beyond. Nibiru, in this radical interpretation, is depicted as something akin to the “Death Star” from Star Wars, yet not inherently malevolent. Its purpose, rather, is to execute its design: to patrol and monitor our sector of the cosmos.
Many ancient religions, in their veneration of “God” or “the Lord,” may have, in fact, been referring to Nibiru – the very home or source of their belief systems. This colossal spacecraft also reportedly functions as an interplanetary “United Nations,” a forum for the discussion and resolution of intergalactic conflicts, commanding immense power, fear, and respect throughout the cosmos. This revolutionary concept profoundly challenges the notion of wandering planets, which are scientifically inconsistent due to constant gravitational interference, and certainly cannot be manipulated at will.
The Tablets of Destiny: The Anunnaki’s Stolen Wisdom and Cosmic Control
In the rich tapestry of Sumerian mythology, the “Tablets of Destiny,” or “Tablets ME,” are not mere stone tablets. They are described as a cosmic computer library: a set of chips containing all information on war tactics, star maps, navigation routes, and crucially, the keys to activate or neutralize all Anunnaki spacecraft.
Upon their arrival on Earth, these “beings from heaven” initially established seven primary cities, strategically vital to Enlil’s mission on Earth. These cities, located in present-day Iraq between the Tigris and Euphrates, formed the region Sumerians called Edin – the likely etymological root of “Eden” in later cultures. Their first settlement, Eridu, meaning “Home away from home,” was commanded by Enki. The very name “Anunnaki” in Akkadian – “an-nu-na-ki” – translates to “fifty who descended to Earth from Heaven.”
Further cities rose: Bad-tibira (“bright place where the ore is finished”), commanded by Enlil’s son Nanna (“male moon god”). Enlil, upon being granted command of the Earth mission by Anu, dispatched his sons Nanna, Sin, and Ninurta, accompanied by Ninhursag, his stepsister, mistress, and Ninurta’s mother. It was in Bad-tibira that Ninurta had his twin sons, Shamash and Ishtar.
Next came Laraak, “seeing the bright glare,” a beacon city guiding space shuttles through a corridor of light, commanded by Ninurta. Sippar, the “bird city,” served as a critical spaceport for gold cargo, led by Shamash, “God of the sun and of justice.” Shurruppak, “the place of supreme well-being,” was the mission’s medical center, under Ninhursag’s guidance.
The sixth city, Nippur, “the terrestrial place of Nibiru,” functioned as the mission’s central control, commanded by Enlil himself. It housed the transmission center for communication with Nibiru and the orbiting Igigi shuttles. A bright chamber called Dirga, “the sacred one among the sacred ones,” atop a tower with multiple antennas named Dur-an-ki, “the sky-earth link,” served as this vital hub, as depicted in Sumerian representations. The seventh city, Lagash, “seeing the halo in six,” was the initial beacon guiding the flight route from Nibiru.
Crucially, in Nippur, specifically within Dirga, lay the immensely powerful “Me” tablets or “destiny tablets.” Numbering approximately 60 units, these were not merely ancient records, but an electronic library, a wellspring of vital Anunnaki information. These tablets held the keys to activating destructive weapons, controlling spacecraft, and directing any Anunnaki technological device. They were also a vast repository of knowledge in laws, decrees of governance, advanced technology, medicine, military techniques, defense methods, and even methods to subjugate populations – knowledge reserved exclusively for the Anunnaki elite.
The Myth of Zu: A Betrayal and a Cosmic Battle
Sumerian texts recount the dramatic “Myth of Zu,” involving an Anunnaki figure considered a demon from a different clan, Pazuzu, also known as Anzu (“He who knows the heavens”). Pazuzu’s origins are veiled in mystery, though Zecharia Sitchin suggested he was an orphan adopted by the Igigi, the Anunnaki who orbited Earth in space shuttles. The Igigi taught Pazuzu all the secrets of space and how to pilot their transport ships. Portrayed with a stylized body combining bird claws, eagle wings, and a lion-like head (with hints of reptilian features), Pazuzu was revered as the God of evil wind, storms, plagues, pests, and fevers.
The Igigi, growing restless from their long stays in space, named Pazuzu as their emissary to deliver their demands before Enlil, sending him to Nippur. Enlil, aware of the Igigi’s discontent and suspecting revolt – a narrative that birthed the myths of Titans, Great Astronauts, and Fallen Angels – took Pazuzu as a servant in Dirga, Nippur’s most sacred sanctuary, hoping to appease the Igigi. But Enlil was fatally betrayed. Pazuzu, seizing his opportunity, audacious ly stole the “Me” Tablets of Destiny, his ambition clear: to usurp Enlil’s reign.
“I will take the heavenly Tablet of Destinies. I will govern the decrees of the gods. I will establish my throne. I will be the master of the heavenly decrees. I will command the Igigi in space.”
Pazuzu fled to the Mountain of the Chambers of Heaven, the Hursak Mu. Immediately, alarms blared across the Anunnaki mission. Many Anunnaki devices, technologies, and knowledge systems were rendered useless. Fear gripped the mission and the Anunnaki population on Earth. The “Me” Tablets contained not only the orbits of planets but also the precise navigation coordinates for the Igigi ferries and the stellar routes for their starships.
“The divine formulas were suspended. The glowing light went out. The silence prevailed. In space, the Igigi were stunned. They had taken the shine of the sanctuary.”
Whoever possessed the “Me” tablets would control the heavens, the shipping routes to Nibiru, and command the Igigi. This was Pazuzu’s grand design: to seize control of all gold shipments and ascend as the new King on Earth.
Fear and darkness consumed the Anunnaki on Earth. Anu, the Great Sovereign of Nibiru, commanded Pazuzu’s capture and the retrieval of the “Me” Tablets of Destiny. Enlil summoned all Anunnaki warriors, but fear paralyzed them; Pazuzu had also stolen “Enlil’s Glitter,” a formidable weapon that reportedly rendered him twice as lethal, impenetrable, and as powerful as Enlil himself. Yet, the valiant Ninurta, Enlil’s son, bravely took the initiative. Arming his ship with the “Seven whirlwinds of wind that shake the dust” and a “Tiyu,” a potent projectile, Ninurta pursued the rogue deity.
Ninurta ultimately defeated Pazuzu and recovered the “Me” Tablets, thus restoring order to the Anunnaki mission. Pazuzu was sentenced to death and executed by Ninurta in a ritualistic ceremony, dressed as a bird to signify his Igigi origin. This served as a chilling warning to the remaining Igigi: Enlil remained the sole sovereign of the Mission and of Earth. For his bravery, Ninurta was greatly rewarded by Anu and Enlil, receiving new celestial crafts and weapons, including the deadliest armor of the Anunnaki, the “Ip,” a weapon reportedly with 50 heads that kill.
Pazuzu, once a powerful Anunnaki, was relegated to a mythological demon, a propagator of pests, elevated to the terrifying ranks of great creatures of the night like Lilith, a demoniac goddess notorious for stealing newborn babies to devour their blood. Paradoxically, despite this horrifying portrayal, the Sumerians themselves used the figure of Pazuzu as an amulet against sorcery and as a protective talisman against nocturnal demons that preyed on infants.
The Future Beckons: A Global Awakening
Some researchers propose that the Anunnaki must indeed return to Earth, not for destruction, but to “fix what they did wrong”—specifically, to reactivate our “junk DNA,” thereby accelerating the spiritual awakening and evolution of human consciousness. Stan Deyo’s Pentagon sources hint at this precise scenario: NASA and the Pentagon allegedly believe the Anunnaki’s return is imminent, coinciding with the arrival of the supposed Planet Nibiru.
Whether Nibiru is a planet or a dwarf star remains a matter of intense debate, but something is undeniably amiss in our solar system’s traditional models. It is highly plausible that the Anunnaki are already here, and that the impending “contact” will unfold in carefully managed stages. If these ancient gods indeed control us, their presence represents the greatest secret the Pentagon could possibly conceal.
According to Gregg Braden’s research, a mere 20 of our 64 DNA codons are currently “activated.” This raises a profound question: why would the “Source of creation” limit our genetic abilities by deactivating the majority of our DNA? The answer, some speculate, lies with the Anunnaki themselves. Our DNA was allegedly limited by them to maintain humanity in a state of submission, control, and conformity to their will. These beings, possessing knowledge of our true genetics, have potentially controlled us for millennia. Their purpose, it is believed, is to never lose control, governing through fear, exploiting the latent, fear-triggered factors within our DNA. They are, perhaps, far more powerful than the visible leaders we perceive as presidents and prime ministers. Researcher Simon Parkes goes further, suggesting we possess 12 strands of DNA, each linked to a specific galactic race, hinting at a far more complex cosmic lineage than we currently comprehend.
Regardless of how these revelations play out, a global awakening is undeniably underway. People are increasingly recognizing the tyranny and oppression inherent in all governments, realizing that our current ways of life – driven by fiat currency and a deeply entrenched economic slave system – are unsustainable. In total, a comparatively small number of world leaders may be perpetuating this economic servitude, simultaneously polluting our vital water, air, and food supplies. Meanwhile, the mainstream media relentlessly employs fear tactics and disseminates state-sponsored propaganda to maintain the status quo.
Yet, we possess the power to rise above this. Change could literally happen overnight if the “bottom of the pyramid” – all of us – unites. We must dismantle the manufactured hatred of other countries, ethnicities, and races, for these divisions are precisely what prevent us from advancing as a unified civilization. The Hopi prophecy resonates with compelling truth: “We are the ones we have been waiting for.” We hold the power to instigate change right now, without needing intervention from the Anunnaki or any other supposed benevolent extraterrestrial race. But first, we must unite as a truly global community, embracing the profound truth of our shared human story – a story that may be far more complex, and far more awe-inspiring, than we have ever dared to imagine.

Wisdom of Ancient Indian Education: The 8 Limbs of Yoga and Beyond
Since times before the antiquities, Indian education system has been very robust. One of the core objective was to shape the individual and the society with highest virtues. How an individual should be is mentioned in various scriptures like Ved, Puran, Upanishad and others. In present times, one may consider these texts as purely religious scriptures. It is a common belief of most of the people,…

Snakes everywhere a clear remainder of our origins .Here’s where the conflict began, where the truth was smothered with lies and false knowledge. What better proof of our vestige than the reptilian brain all hybrid humans carry. That activates our fight or fly response.Angels through the ages of men whisper we are gods and goddesses as well. But in come our creators some belief of a reptilian descendants at times true beasts seeking pleasures and depravity culminating in in a killing instinct and let’s not forget the rituals where snakes are venerated and human sacrifices were part of the so called purification rites and in there also cannibalism lurking in the darkness of our species ,heck these days as millions of years ago we still eat snakes, some say they taste like chicken!I’m going to leave the one god Christian believe out of this equation. So, those who wear snake jewelry carry in their brain a foggy remainder of their past lives associated with the satanic thirst for dark knowledge that transcend many past lives. We shamans are here only to share a universal truth that has survived for thousands of years. As far as I’m concerned we are free to choose sides with their respect consequences.I walk a thin line between the light and the veil that separate this dimension from theirs. What I was taught growing up: Wild edible plants and animals were just so naturally abundant that the indigenous people of my area, namely western Washington state, didn't have to develop agriculture and could just easily forage/hunt for all their needs.
The first pebble in what would become a landslide: Native peoples practiced intentional fire, which kept the trees from growing over the camas praire.
The next: PNW native peoples intentionally planted and cultivated forest gardens, and we can still see the increase in biodiversity where these gardens were today.
The next: We have an oak prairie savanna ecosystem that was intentionally maintained via intentional fire (which they were banned from doing for like, 100 years and we're just now starting to do again), and this ecosystem is disappearing as Douglas firs spread, invasive species take over, and land is turned into European-style agricultural systems.
The Land Slide: Actually, the native peoples had a complex agricultural and food processing system that allowed them to meet all their needs throughout the year, including storing food for the long, wet, dark winter. They collected a wide variety of plant foods (along with the salmon, deer, and other animals they hunted), from seaweeds to roots to berries, and they also managed these food systems via not only burning, but pruning, weeding, planting, digging/tilling, selectively harvesting root crops so that smaller ones were left behind to grow and the biggest were left to reseed, and careful harvesting at particular times for each species that both ensured their perennial (!) crops would continue thriving and that harvest occurred at the best time for the best quality food. American settlers were willfully ignorant of the complex agricultural system, because being thus allowed them to claim the land wasn't being used. Native peoples were actively managing the ecosystem to produce their food, in a sustainable manner that increased biodiversity, thus benefiting not only themselves but other species as well.
So that's cool. If you want to read more, I suggest "Ancient Pathways, Ancestral Knowledge: Ethnobotany and Ecological Wisdom of Indigenous Peoples of Northwestern North America" by Nancy J. Turner

One of my all time biggest pet peeves with historical(ish) fantasy is when the writer constructs a religion with a clear bias that it's stupid and false and therefore only the Stupid People and/or commoners believe in it and all the smart/elite main characters are like, quasi-atheists or otherwise just routinely flout established religious conventions of orthodoxy and/or orthopraxy because they're Too Smart for it or etc.
It's usually an extension of assumptions that people in the past were just less intelligent than in the contemporary, just being like "I know that the sun is a star millions of miles away that the earth orbits, but this ancient religion describes it as a chariot flying through the sky" and not really bothering to learn the context and just (consciously or subconsciously) settling on 'that's a crazy thing to think and was probably believed in because they were Stupid'.
And that whole attitude pisses me off so much. People were as 'smart' 10,000 years ago as they are today. These beliefs aren't just desperate, random flailing to explain phenomena that could not directly be accounted for either, it's not like people just looked at the sun and went "Uhhh I don't know what the fuck that thing is, actually. I guess it might be a chariot or a boat or something?? Yeah let's go with that." and based entire religious practices on this. Every well-established belief system exists within broader contexts of cultural values/subjective perceptions of reality/knowledge systems/etc, and exist as part of a historical continuum of religious practices that came before. Even when not Materially Correct, they have context and internal logic, they're not always dead literal with zero levels of allegory, and they're never a result of stupidity.
#I think you're failing at good worldbuilding and also just like. Idk failing at being an understanding human being willing to learn about#people different from yourself when you approach writing religion from a 'uhhhh what's some random stupid shit people believed in#2000 years ago' angle#Like make an effort to understand the logic and worldviews and value systems that informed these practices before you synthesize your own

This textbook is a culmination of multiple efforts of the authors to fill in the gap for offering a required course on Indian Knowledge System (IKS), recently mandated by AICTE. Moreover, the New Education Policy (NEP) has also provided a clear trajectory for imparting IKS in the higher education curriculum, necessitating a book of this kind in several higher education institutions in the country in the days to come.
The book seeks to introduce the epistemology and ontology of IKS to the Engineering and Science students in a way they can relate, appreciate and explore further should there be a keen interest in the matter.

The Sanitized Lore of Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Tevinter is the heart of slavery in Thedas. This lore has been established in every game, novel, comic, and other extended material in the Dragon Age franchise to date that so much as mentions the nation. But in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, when we are finally able to actually visit this location for the first time… this rampant slavery we’ve heard so much about is nowhere to be found. It’s talked about here and there; Neve mentions The Viper has a history of freeing slaves, as does Rook themselves if they choose the Shadow Dragon faction as their origin, for example. But walking down the streets of Minrathous, you’d never know. Because Dragon Age: The Veilguard, for all its enjoyment otherwise, has one glaring issue: It’s too clean.
The world of Thedas is full of injustices. Humans persecute elves, fear qunari, and belittle dwarves. Mages of any race are treated like caged animals in most places. The nobility is corrupt. Although, Dragon Age has not always handled these injustices well, mind you. Many, many times I’ve found myself frustrated with moments that just feel like a Racism Simulator. But what makes it worth it, is when you can actually do something about it. These injustices are things that a good-aligned character strives to fight back against, maybe even for very personal reasons. Part of the power-fantasy for many minorities is that this fight feels tangible. I cannot arrange the assassination of a corrupt politician in real life, but I sure can get Celene Valmont stabbed to death in Dragon Age: Inquisition, for example. Additionally, these fictional injustices can be used to make statements on real life parallels, like any source of media. For example, no, the Chant of Light is not real, but acting as a stand-in for Catholicism, through a media analysis lens we can explore what the Chant of Light communicates on a figurative level.
When starting Dragon Age: The Veilguard and selecting to play as an elf – this should be unsurprising to anyone who is familiar with my bias towards them – I was fully prepared to enter the streets of Minrathous and immediately get called “knife-ear” or “rabbit”. But this did not happen. I thought perhaps it was just a prologue thing, but returning to Minrathous once again, there was not a single shred of disapproval from any NPC I encountered that wasn’t a generic enemy to fight. And even the generic enemies, the Tevinter Nationalist cult of the Venatori, didn’t seem to care at all that I was a lineage they deemed inferior before now. This is a stark difference from entering the Winter Palace in Dragon Age: Inquisition and immediately getting hit with court disapproval and insults. Are we now to believe that Tevinter has somehow solved its astronomical racism and classism problems in the ten years since the past game? Or perhaps are we to believe all the characters who have demonstrated Tevinter’s systemic discriminatory views were just lying or outliers? Because it makes absolutely no sense at all for this horribly corrupt nation to not have a shred of reactivity to an elven or qunari Rook prancing around. But here were are, and not a single NPC even recognizes my character’s lineage. And because this is so different from every single past game, it feels weird.
As an elf, you have the option to make a comment about how “too many humans look down on us” in one scene early in the game. You can also talk to Bellara and Davrin, the elven companions, about concerns that people won’t trust elves after finding out about the big bad Ancient Evanuris… but this is presented as if elves don’t already face persecution. It’s all so limited in scope that it could be all too easily missed if you are not paying very close attention, and coming into the game with pre-existing lore knowledge.
All this made it easy to first assume that the developers simply over-corrected an attempt to address the Racism Simulator moments. And if that was the case, than I would at least give credit to effort; they did not find the right balance, but they at least tried. However, the sudden lack of discrimination against different lineages in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is not the only sanitized example of lore present.
In Dragon Age: Origins, Zevran Arainai is a companion who is from the Antivan Crows; a group of assassins. He discusses in detail how the Crows buy children and raise them into murder machines through all kinds of torture. The World of Thedas books also describe how the Antivan Crows work, echoing what Zevran says and expanding that of the recruitment, only a select handful of those taken by the Crows even survive. When you start Dragon Age: The Veilguard as an Antivan Crow, you immediately unlock a re-used codex entry from the past, “The Crows and Queen Madrigal”, that says the following:
“His guild has a reputation to uphold. They are ruthless, efficient, and discreet. How would they maintain such notoriety if agents routinely revealed the names of employers with something as "banal" as torture.”
Ruthless, efficient, and discreet. Torture is banal. This is what the Crows were before Dragon Age: The Veilguard decided to take them in a very different direction. The Antivan Crows in this latest game are painted as freedom fighters against the Antaam occupation of Treviso. Teia calls the Crows “patriots”. And while I can certainly believe that the Crows would have enough motivation to fight back against the Antaam, given that it is in direct opposition to their own goals, I cannot understand why they are suddenly suggested to be morally good. They are assassins. They treat their people like tools and murder for money. Even as recent as the Tevinter Nights story Eight Little Talons, it is addressed that the Antivan Crows are in it for the coin and power, with characters like Teia being outliers for wanting to change that. It makes the use of the older codex all the more confusing, as it sets the Antivan Crows up as something they are no longer portrayed as.
I personally think it would have been really interesting to explore a morally corrupt faction in comparison to say, the Shadow Dragons. Perhaps even as a protagonist, address things like the enslavement of “recruits” to make the faction at least somewhat better. (They are still assassins, after all.) Instead, we’re just supposed to ignore everything unsavory about them, I suppose…
We could discuss even further examples. Like how the Lords of Fortune pillage ruins but it’s okay, because they never sell artifacts of cultural importance, supposedly. Or how the only problem with the Templar Order in Tevinter is just the “bad apples” that work with Venatori. I could go on, but I don’t think I have to.
It is because of all this sanitization, that I cannot believe this was simply over-correction on a developmental part. Especially when there is still racism in the game, in other forms. The impression I’m left with feels far deeper than that; it feels corporate. As if a computer ran through the game’s script and got rid of anything with “too much” political substance. The strongest statements are hidden in codex entries, and I almost suspect they had to be snuck in.
Between a Racism Simulator and just ignoring anything bad whatsoever, I believe a balance is achievable; that sweet spot that actually has something to say about what it is presenting. I know it is achievable, because there are a few bright spots of this that I’ve encountered in Dragon Age: The Veilguard too. For example, some of the codex entries like I mentioned, and almost all the content with the Grey Wardens thus far. It is a shame there is not more content on this level.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is overall still a fun game, in my opinion. But it’s hard to argue that it isn’t missing the grit of its predecessors. The sharp edges have been smoothed. The claws have been removed. The house has been baby-proofed. And for what purpose?
