Something I adore about this saga is how the songs all end with such powerful and forceful singing. It almost feels like Odysseus is trying to drown out the screams he hears by being louder with his own pain and convictions

Actually self-titled is an unimaginably underrated album and I cannot fathom why no one ever talks about it.

"Implict Demand for Proof," "Trapdoor," "A Car, a Torch, a Death," "Taxi Cab," "Before You Start Your Day," "Isle of Flightless Birds," COME ON.
