Tony Towers was somewhat of a local celebrity, a successful nightclub manager and is currently engaged to a younger woman named Sue. When they get on a train to Nottingham for a Christmas family reunion everything is about to get a little strange when he moves between the train carriages.

So Ranker came out with their list of top most hated TV characters, that apparently 200k+ people voted on:
And I’m just losing my mind that Ramsay Bolton and Skylar White are so close together on this list. Look at the villains wiki list of each of their crimes:
People were really like, “hmm, I guess skinning people alive is a smidge worse than Skylar sleeping with Ted. I guess Ramsay feeding an infant to his dogs is like a little worse than fraud.” How are they even comparable you guys 😭😭😭
Hans Westergaard and Ramsay Bolton, divided by age rating.
Anna punching Hans in the face if "Frozen" wasn't a franchise focused on kids.
I still can't believe how there are people who say they are fans of the franchise and forgive Hans even after reading "Frozen Heart".
What happens after the scene where Hans goes to visit Elsa in prison is one of the most despicable moments in the book "Frozen Heart". It was clear how he saved her in the Ice Palace just to try and use her and when he realized she wouldn't be a tool he decided to discard her without a second thought (as in "Conceal, Don't Feel").
But I also have to remember that it's not hard to find Ramsay fans using the exact same arguments that Hans fans use to defend him.
Luckily, the franchise learned how to deal with Hans. This dumb sociopath who would discard anyone without remorse to achieve his goals, while his plans are always extremely flawed.
I love how Hans is currently the franchise's main joke (in "Polar Nights" Anna spends a lot of time humiliating the 13th Prince's physical appearance) and this scene in "Frozen Fever":
It would be this one in "Game of Thrones" if it weren't for the ratings:
But it's sad that even if Hans had done to Anna or Elsa what Ramsay did to Sansa there would still be people defending him and saying that the character deserves redemption. Sometimes the "Frozen" fandom pisses me off.
The 2016 documentary The First Monday in May, follows chief curator of The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Andrew Bolton as he prepares the 2015 exhibition China: Through the Looking Glass. The film also follows Anna Wintour as she prepares for the Met Gala party that accompanies the exhibition. Bolton’s work on the show with director Wong Kar Wai, as well as the negotiations and logistics behind creating it are fascinating.
The film is full of celebrities and fashion designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, and John Galliano.
The Costume Institute’s latest exhibition, also curated by Andrew Bolton, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, closes on 9/2.

7/11 - George Washington aka his Excellency aka "the General" <- already happened, go make Washington content!
7/21 - John Bolton - Benjamin Tallmadge <- I am not starting at that one cause you'll never see the end of it
7/22 - Abraham "Abe" Woodhull - Samuel "don't call me Culpeper" Culpeper/Culper - or my personal favourite: why are you the MC again? /hj
Robert Townsend - 7/23
Caleb Brewster - 7/25
Anna Strong - number n/a
Abigail Strong (cause enslaved people take their 'masters' last names) - 3/55 (in TURN)
Right, now to the point, cause Mrs. Anna Strong is numberless and Abigail is underutilized and underappreciated, weekdays without other numbers this week go to them, cause women in fandom are under appreciated and I just think they're neat.gif.
Inspired by @thatscarletflycatcher's list of actors who have appeared in multiple Jane Austen adaptations, I've made a list of actors who have appeared in two or more adaptations of Brontë novels. I've covered all three of the sisters' books and included radio dramas as well as screen and stage adaptations.
*Timothy Dalton played Heathcliff in the 1970 Wuthering Heights film and Rochester in the 1983 Jane Eyre miniseries.
*Toby Stephens played Gilbert Markham in the 1996 Tenant of Wildfell Hall miniseries and Rochester in the 1983 Jane Eyre miniseries.
*Tara Fitzgerald went from playing Toby Stephens' love interest to playing his love interest's childhood abuser – Helen Graham in the 1996 Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Mrs. Reed in the 2006 Jane Eyre.
*John Duttine holds the distinction of having played both Heathcliff and Hindley Earnshaw in different Wuthering Heights adaptations: Hindley in the 1978 miniseries, Heathcliff in the 1995 radio drama.
*Amanda Root played Catherine Earnshaw in the 1995 Wuthering Heights radio drama and (showing her versatility) Miss Temple in the 1996 Jane Eyre film, as well as narrating the 2004 Naxos audiobook of Jane Eyre.
*Emma Fielding is heard in both the 1995 and 2018 radio dramas of Wuthering Heights: as Catherine Linton in 1995 and as Nelly Dean in 2018. She also narrates the 1996 Naxos audiobook of Jane Eyre.
*Geoffrey Whithead played St. John Rivers in the 1973 Jane Eyre miniseries and Mr. Linton in the 1995 Wuthering Heights radio drama.
*Jean Harvey appeared in both the 1973 and 1983 Jane Eyre miniseries: as Mrs. Reed in 1973 and as Mrs. Fairfax in 1983.
*Judy Cornwell played Nelly Dean in the 1970 Wuthering Heights and Mrs. Reed in the 1983 Jane Eyre.
*David Robb played the Count de Hamal in the 1970 Villette miniseries and Edgar Linton in the 1978 Wuthering Heights miniseries.
*Bryan Marshall played Gilbert Markham in the 1968 Tenant of Wildfell Hall miniseries and Dr. John Graham Bretton in the 1970 Villette miniseries.
*Sarah Smart played Catherine Linton in the 1998 Masterpiece Theatre Wuthering Heights, and Carol Bolton, the female Heathcliff character, in the 2002 TV film Sparkhouse, a modernized, gender-flipped retelling of Wuthering Heights.
*Holliday Grainger played Lisa Bolton, the female Hareton/Linton composite character in Sparkhouse, and Diana Rivers in the 2011 Jane Eyre film.
*Sophie Ward played Isabella Linton in the 1992 Wuthering Heights film and Lady Ingram in the 2011 Jane Eyre.
*Morag Hood played Frances Earnshaw in the 1970 Wuthering Heights and Mary Rivers in the 1983 Jane Eyre.
*Jean Anderson played Nelly Dean in the 1963 TV version of Wuthering Heights and Mrs. Maxwell in the 1968 Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
*Barbara Keogh played two unpleasant Brontë maidservants: Zillah in the 1978 Wuthering Heights and Miss Abbot in the 1997 TV film of Jane Eyre.
*Norman Rutherford played the lawyer Mr. Green in the 1978 Wuthering Heights and Sir George Lynn in the 1983 Jane Eyre.
*Anna Bentinck narrated the 2015 Dreamscape Media audiobooks of both Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights.
*Janet McTeer played Nelly Dean in the 1992 Wuthering Heights film and reprised the role as co-narrator of the 2006 Naxos audiobook (she reading Nelly's narration, David Timson reading Lockwood's).
*Edward de Souza played Mr. Mason in two different adaptations of Jane Eyre: the 1973 miniseries and the 1996 film.
Adding Brontë family members and friends into the mix:
*Ida Lupino played Isabella Linton in the Lux Radio Theatre's 1939 adaptation of Wuthering Heights based on the 1939 film, and Emily Brontë herself in the 1946 film Devotion.
*Chloe Pirrie played Emily Brontë in the 2016 TV film To Walk Invisible and Catherine Earnshaw in the 2018 Wuthering Heights radio drama.
*Ann Penfold played Polly Home in the 1970 Villette miniseries and Anne Bontë in the 1973 miniseries The Brontës of Haworth.
*Gemma Jones played Mrs. Fairfax in the 1997 Jane Eyre and Elizabeth Branwell in the 2022 film Emily.
*Richard Kay played William Weightman in The Brontës of Haworth and Lockwood in the 1978 Wuthering Heights.
*Megan Parkinson played Catherine Earnshaw in the 2015 Ambassador Theatre stage adaptation of Wuthering Heights and Martha Brown in To Walk Invisible.
*Susan Brodrick played a barmaid in The Brontës of Haworth and Mary Rivers in the 1973 Jane Eyre.
I'm sure there are plenty more, but this list is long enough for now.

Like, given what is happening in the world right now it SHOULD have been cancelled.
But it wasn't.
But, like I said, given what is happening in the world, Andrew Bolton and Anna Wintour probably predicted the backlash they were going to receive, as they rightfully are.
So they chose the theme sooooooo carefully.
It's "Garden of Time".
But not just garden of time.
It's J. G. Ballard's Garden of Time.
They made sure to mention that the theme was influenced by the Short Story "the Garden of Time" by J. G. Ballard.
A new, and overpriced, edition with J. G. Ballard's short stories was published, also including "The Garden of Time" mentioning it as the "inspiration for the 2024 Met Gala". And it's available on Amazon!
And then no one, none of the designers, none of the celebrities, not even the people criticising the celebrities, literally no one(except maybe a handful, hardly) understood the theme. Everyonr saw "Garden of Time", and was like, "Yes, this is the most easiest theme ever!"
It literally went like...
The people of the Met: So... This year's dress code is "Garden of Time".
Every person attending the Met: Ahhh! Garden of Time?!?!?! So it's about ethereal beauty.
The people of the Met: What? No no. It's inspired by the story by J. G. Ballard. Ethereal beauty is NOT the theme...
Every person attending the Met: It's about the invariability of art! It's about the timelessness of fashion! It's about f**king FLOWERS!!!
The people of the Met: No. NO. It's not. It's about J. G. Ballard's story. The story is about hopelessness and the inevitability of war and death and destruction. Read the story and base your outfit on that.
Every person attending the Met: Ugh. That's so boring. I'm supposed to read? J. G. Ballard? Who even is that? I'm just going to wear what I want to.
The people of the Met: This is a very carefully thought out theme. It's very important to us to us that you understand the concepts of the story. Please remember, it's Garden of Time by J. G. Ballard.
Every person attending the Met:(still thinking it's about flowers) Yes, yes. Got it. "Garden of Time". Don't worry.
I don't know a lot about the fashion industry but this has to be the most gigantic failure in the history of the Met Gala.

relationship tendencies: Ben is very "all or nothing." When he loves, he loves very hard and deeply, and devotes his entire soul to his partner. This makes him very susceptible to heartbreak and, quite frankly, he's a little naïve since he has "traditional" views that s.ex = love. This is why he was instantly attached to Sarah in TURN canon, and wanted to run away with her. He could possibly be seen as clingy since he wants to be involved in their life, and is also very over-protective/has a bit of a w.hite k.night complex.
miscellaneous

m.ental i.llnesses: P.TSD after falling into the D.elaware (t.riggering his need for constant control); intense anxiety
self confidence level: Ben may lack confidence at times, but when he believes he is right, he will NOT back down.

I work at a local newspaper for my county and one of the perks of my job is assembling the daily comics page. There's a filler spot that cycles between five comic strips for the five days a week we publish a paper, and I absolutely hated one of the comics I had to place. The humor was always stale, the artwork was just copy/pasted, and because I had always had an interest in drawing my own newspaper comic I got my general managers permission to insert my own.
Liquid Courage was my answer to the terrible boomer humor that the comic syndicates churned out. I had drawn 13 issues that published between May and August of 2024. The comic centered around David and Abby, two asteroid mining co-workers who lived aboard a space station with their friend Bolton and were joined by two floating half-sphere robots called Otto and Anna. Those two robots were definitely my favorite part about the comic and from what I've gathered they were most other peoples favorite part as well :)
This post is basically just to book end the phase I had drawing this comic over the summer. As of writing this post, Liquid Courage is indefinitely on hold. Not done, just on a creative hiatus. Creating a work of art purely out of spite and hatred can only get you so far, and I don't wanna go through life being a hater, its a waste of energy I could be spending creating something truly enjoyable.
Take forward steps

Part three of my East High drama department casting thoughts for different musicals!
Today’s musical: Be More Chill
Jeremy Heere: Jet (he needs a leading role and I think being Jeremy would be cool. Two Player Game with him and Carlos sounds so cool, like, Jet and Carlos together is truly a revolutionary concept for a duet imo)
Michael Mell: Carlos (Michael In The Bathroom would be performed so well by Carlos, like I actually think his experience with bullying would help him with character work and getting this number just right) (I also think MITB would sound amazing with Jets voice but Carlos fits better)
Jake Dillinger: Ricky (he can’t play a bad guy, but he also can’t be the lead. Does this one make sense I can’t tell)
Squip: Kourtney (I just think- Pitiful Children sung in Kourtney’s voice would be so powerful.)
Rich Goranski: EJ (I know he’s in college but has that stopped him from participating before? No, he’d have to be physically dragged from the stage at this point.)
Christine Canigula: Gina (I love Ricky and Gina as leads but it seems like an interesting idea to me to have Gina and Jet play love interests after their Hans and Anna roles where he wasn’t quite her true love interest because hans is evil)
(you might be thinking but what about Ashlyn here- and you’re right but I’m getting there, I have a much better role for her)
Jenna Rolan: Maddox (partly because there’s not enough characters to fill this cast list but also, an outsider who wants a group of friends seems like just her role.)
Chloe Valentine: Ashlyn Moon Caswell (I love this one because, well mostly because of The Smart Phone Hour (Rich Set a Fire), the whole back and forth phone calls thing I think she’d kill that so I’m gonna say I love it.)
Brooke Lohst: Seb (we can do another Sharpay in soft drag moment here and Seb is just the one to do it after he did Sharpay justice I think he not only can but deserves to do it again with Brooke.)
Mr. Reyes: Miss Jenn (mostly because she is their drama teacher and as long as no one reports her to the union, it’s fine.)
Mr.Heere: I think Mr.Mazarra had so much fun playing Coach Bolton in Miss Jenn’s production of High School Musical 3, that that he practically begged to be in this. Lmao okay no but seriously I think now that he’s dating miss Jenn he would do it, he also probably doesn’t mind it and kind of enjoys it but no he wouldn’t beg to be in it.
