Undertale: 17 (Unreasonable version)
The Abandoned Quiche (QuicheGuilt) was going to use the unused Global.Flag 17
Gaster's theme is 17 seconds long
The intervals in Gaster's theme is 1 7 -7 -1 (From this video skip to 7 minutes)
Not using unreasonable math this round, it's only numbers.
Quicheguilt using global flag 17, Junk food that was previously thrown away heals 17, this is light justification for guessing that 17 = Abandoned/left behind/discarded
Q is the 17th letter of the Alphabet
When you QUIT the game, you're leaving your progress behind, you're leaving their world.
The one that left all of monsterkind behind was the QUEEN.
When you beat the game, there's no music in Papyrus's room, it's QUIET. (This one's a stretch for my obligatory Papyrus mention, also pretending everything else is not a stretch)
#undertale theory#suspicious numbers#can you tell I like numbers#Anyway other than automatically named items with 17#these are all the purposely named 17#hey max why do you assume that quicheguilt was purposely labeled with flag 17#Well that's because (runs away)

The Boys™ Speaking A Foreign Language (HQ Edition)
Featuring: Oikawa, Osamu, & Ushijima
Warnings: Some slight manga spoilers!
A/N: This headcanon is centered around these bbs speaking Spanish but I think they can really be applied to any language! I hope you guys enjoy! Also thank you @cttnclouds for the Osamu fusion idea you’re literally an angel and i love you.
Oikawa Tōru
Why he learned:
He moved to Argentina. It’s either learn or get really got at using hand signals.
Learning Process:
Honestly? Probably tried the whole DuoLingo thing the first few weeks after he got the okay to move to Argentina. But after a while he burnt out.
He probably got up to like the introductory phrases and then fell off. Probably because he had to deal with all the logistical stuff that comes with moving.
(Someone help him cause he literally thought moving would be an easy one two three job :’) Iwa-chan help!)
The next time he remembers that he’s literally going to a new country with a new language is like a month before he moves.
He’s shopping with Iwaizumi for some new clothes and stuff when Iwaizumi just goes “So how’s your Spanish coming along?
freeze frame, his face looks like this: (∩╹□╹∩)
Anyways he really like stress buys like three different Japanese books that he then FORGETS ABOUT for the rest of the month.
He reads them on the flight to Argentina. The only things he learned were how to ask for the time and directions.
Oh boy, Argentina’s going to be fun :’)
When he uses Spanish in front of you for the first time:
Right so, the first time you see him use his sorry excuse for Spanish is at the little corner coffee shop down the street
Of course everyone’s like eyeing him cause, why is a foreigner here in the hidden gem of the city? But also he’s kinda cute what?
Anyways, you’re minding your own business until you hear the heavily accented Spanish.
And pues, we’re all little chismosos so of course you pay attention to what he’s trying to do (order a coffee but he literally cant remember what the word for sugar is dear god someone help this man)
After cringing you step up with the translator app on your phone open and obviously help him out.
He’s a little impressed because: 1. Your Spanish is so smooth and flowy it sounds like you’re reciting poetry and 2. Why didn’t he think of the translator app tf??
So you get his order shoot it back to Sandra over the counter in fast Spanish and then order your own stuff before moving off to the side to wait for your coffee.
Oikawa might be an idiot right but he’s not going to pass up the opportunity to ask you to teach him Spanish??
I mean you’re cute, you’re obviously a local from the way you were greeting everyone inside the shop, and well, you’re the only person who’s tried to help him out so far and that means a lot to him.
For some odd reason you actually agree? You still don’t know what caused you to say yes. Probably the pitiful look he had when he told you he had to move cause of work and he knew nobody else here.
How you help him with learning/bettering his Spanish:
Honestly, he bitched a lot at the beginning but forcing him to only communicate in Spanish really helped him out.
So taking him on town trips and having him tell you about what he’s seen or what he wants to do in Spanish really helped him. Also having your friends come with is really fun cause he tries to teach them some Japanese words while they translate that into Spanish.
Also being immersed in the language is a big plus.
But I think the #1 thing that really helped him was watching novelas with you.
Like he wants to understand what Gabriela is yelling to Sofia about in real time not through the subtitles. (But damn Gabriela really slept with Sofia’s fiance? Wack, that man is not worth it hun)
You know his Spanish’s getting better when you walk into a completely new bread shop that the two of you are visiting and he just goes ahead and orders in fluent Spanish.
Leaves both you and the attendant in shock. But he just comes back and asks you in Spanish too, “Lo hice bien? No me trave verdad?”
The woman literally swoons from the whole encounter. He is now a danger to any woman within five miles of the vicinity. Gets all cocky about it.
Favorite Spanish Word: Alborotar - Disturb? That’s what google says but it’s more like mess up.
Miya Osamu
Why he learned:
Honestly? This Mexican-Japanese fusion place opened up and he just wants to talk to the chef about where he gets his ingredients from because this shit tastes amazing!!
Learning Process:
Went home the first night after eating at that restaurant and bought a year subscription for Rosetta Stone.
He’s kind of regretting it because like, maybe he should’ve gone with the monthly plan? Fuck he shouldn’t have gotten ahead of himself.
He tries to do an hour of the program a day minimum. There’s some days where the hour like drags on and other days where he’s so pumped that he does more than one hour.
His max was one day where it snowed so hard that nobody could go out so he spent like 10 hours doing Rosetta Stone.
He tried going to like one of the Brazilian stores around his house to try out his Spanish with them but was sorely disappointed to learn that Brazilians do not speak Spanish.
Still got some bomb ass brigadeiros though so who’s the real winner here huh?
Actually put up a craigslist ad for a Spanish partner.
It’s up for a whopping 5 minutes before he promptly deleted the ad.
Instead!! This man signs up for one of those international pen pal services and gets matched with someone fluent in Spanish (it’s you hello).
And it turns out said person is coming to Japan soon for a year abroad?? And they have a basic Japanese foundation?
Yeah dude he lucked out.
Out of all three boys, his alone learning goes pretty well. Gets a good foundation of Spanish.
When he uses Spanish in front of you for the first time:
This one’s so cute!! He actually does it sort of by accident?
He’s made friends with everyone at the fusion restaurant including the chef because he actually managed to hold a decent conversation in Spanish.
His brain just automatically switches to Spanish when he enters the restaurant.
So when you hear him bust out into a full fluent Spanish conversation with the waiter you kind of sit there like: (・о・)
This man even orders and asks you if you want to split a bottle of wine in Spanish.
You could only nod because holy shit.
Like yes you’ve heard him speak it over the discord calls before but in person?? That’s a whole nother story.
Specially because his pronunciation is so good?? And he has the right accent? It’s so smooth like it just flows naturally from him.
And he can actually roll the r’s god damn sir
How you help him with learning/bettering his Spanish:
So he has a pretty good grasp on the language which means he doesn’t need much help with learning.
But you can help expand his knowledge. Like teaching him about how in some countries/dialects things might be said differently. (Like how there’s 17 ways to say straw. Hondurans say pajilla and that’s all I knew for a bunch of years)
He’ll also need help with learning about a lot of food names. He only knows the basic names, not any special fruits or like combination dishes so that’ll be fun.
You actually start cooking new latin recipes every Saturday so he can familiarize himself with the cuisine.
Some ingredients are hard to come by but the adventure in finding them is so worth it.
His favorite recipe so far? Making Pollo con Tajadas from Honduras. The Bandeja Paisa from Colombia is a close second.
Favorite Spanish Word: Popote: Straw (in Mexico)
Ushijima Wakatoshi
Why he learned:
His last current concern is literally “he would like to work harder at studying languages”.
Fair, makes sense.
But instead of going with a familiar language he just says fuck it time to learn the latin alphabet with Spanish.
yeah okay why not
Learning Process:
Ushijima is more of a visual learner.
Which in it’s own makes sense. He’ll probably get a book that has like those floating numbers over items and it tells him what it’s called in Spanish right?
Wrong.
You know what he does?
This man. This 24 year old man. Goes home, opens up Netflix, and puts on... wait for it... DORA.
I kid you not!! Ushijima Wakatoshi will always begin learning a new language by watching children’s shows.
You know why?
Because he read an article a while back where it said that the best way to start learning languages is by watching children’s shows due to the fact that the shows are literally tailored to teach kids the language.
See what he did there? Y’all thought he was a big dumb dumb but in reality he’s a big smart smart.
Uh, anyways.
He will sit down to watch the children’s shows with a notebook. He takes very good notes, has a Japanese translation for everything.
His show watch list: Dora la Exploradora, Plaza Sesamo, Maya Y Miguel, Go Diego Go, and Handy Manny.
The crazy thing? It actually works. He literally gets his Spanish base from these shows.
Crazier thing? HE LITERALLY PICKS UP THE CORRECT ACCENTS.
I kid you not bro, he literally somehow managed to sound like a FLUENT speaker. I-
But from there he picks up some more books and audio files to try and increase the complexity of his knowledge.
He’s the best speaker out of the three.
When he uses Spanish in front of you for the first time:
Honestly? He’s been looking for a Spanish partner for a while and he genuinely doesn’t know how to go about it.
One day though, he overhears you on the phone with your mom.
He’s seen you before. You’re one of the girls working under the main manager and you’re actually really helpful. If he remembers correctly, you’re the only co-manager that can wrap the compression sleeves just how he likes them.
Anyways, not uh, important.
He’s not one to eavesdrop but, well you’re in the equipment room and he needs to grab one thing. Just a quick in and out. He’ll even turn off his ears.
But then you start speaking like fluent Spanish? And suddenly his ears are very active.
He doesn’t harass you while you’re on your call. Instead he waits until after practice.
Then he just comes up to you and goes, “Perdóname por molestarte pero, estabas platicándo en Español anterior?”
Kind just sat there like: ◉‿◉ - ( ̄ー ̄) - ⚈ ̫ ⚈
You can’t even speak, you’re still processing that he just spoke Spanish like a natural??? So you just nod.
He launches into a whole talk about how he’s been learning but he needs a speaking partner so that he can get better.
At some point during his whole speech you sit down because your brain IS NOT CATCHING UP.
In the end you agree to become his partner. He’s paying you in food how the hell can you say no?
How you help him with learning/bettering his Spanish:
Like I said before, he’s already good.
You mostly help broaden his knowledge about the culture from Spanish countries and their cultures. A lot of it is through food and the small glimpses of hispanic life from Japan.
Can’t really teach the customs and traditional stuff unless it’s in person.
You’re actually getting ready to go back home for your once a year family reunion when suddenly this man invites himself to your trip?????
I mean, it’s not a bad idea in the first place but then he offered to pay for your trip and well...
You’re kind of broke and he’s rich so it works alright?
God but going back home? Ultra boosts his spanish.
Not sure if it’s the atmosphere, your family, or just the fact that the country is now in a whole nother language, but this man just adapts.
It’s really uncanny.
While he’s here, your family teaches him a lot of Spanish idioms and phrases that don’t translate over well and he starts incorporating them into his every day usage.
Someone on the team got hurt and he literally walked over and rubbed their wrist and went “ Sana, sana, colita de rana. Si no sanas hoy, sanarás mañana.”
When you leave his apartment? “Te veo Mateo”
But he also gets to see how unique and beautiful the culture in your country is.
His favorite part of the trip? Probably your family’s land that’s just surrounded by nature.
He also really liked the traditional shops that the old ladies from the village ran. (They also liked him and pinched his cheeks and called him a big strong boy so maybe that has something to do with it.)
His favorite Spanish word: Topogigio (to-po-i-yo): In Honduras, frozen ice cream (? not really but don’t know how else to describe) that is typically sold in a small bag. Flavors: Fruit juice or traditional ice cream flavors.

Blood For Gold Chapter 17

Did I plan this? No. Did my hand slip and write this and SURPRISE ME? HELL YEAH. And @punkhorse96 oh, I know, prestorm but the winds are picking up as that first twist in the clouds. But nothing pushes you to confront your feelings quite like having the object of your affections have a sudden change in health.
Blood For Gold
Chapter 17
“So what’s the plan tomorrow? More training?” Demsey guessed as you came back into the stables and he was in the extended stall with you and Heavencrest and Charlico, trying to figure out how to take Charlico’s saddle off as he watched what you were doing as he tried to imitate what you were doing since the saddles looked similar in most respects.
“Tomorrow is the Kamo because Kamoba means “feast and fight” in marinai, so it’s a feasting day, you’re meant to rest, eat, and get all the jitters out of your system and drink until all the stress of the competition leaves you and everything you’ve pent up over the course of training is released so you go into the competition with a clear head, a clean conscience, so no grudges or misgivings, or malicious intent towards any of the other competitors or anything. You should still do the stretches but only one set of drills to make sure you remember them correctly but that is only after breakfast but after that, you’re meant to eat and rest basically and not do anything that could endanger your performance the next day, so don’t get drunk where you will feel hungover the next day, party and have a good time, but not party so hard or hurt yourself partying so that your performance is hindered, like spraining an ankle or throwing your back out of alignment. Then the night before the event, there is the choli- it’s where we take the leftover paint from all the training sessions and throw it at each other, like one big paint fight and then spend the rest of the night scrubbing ourselves clean, because the part of the Kamoba battle traditions before the battle can even take place is mixing the paints fresh that day to make sure that nothing dangerous is added to the paints, like powders that make the paint explode when they’re stuck.” You answered.
“Oh gods, that’s been done before? To sabotage the paint?” Demsey asked.
“Yup, several times throughout history. That’s why none of the competitors have anything to do with the paint mixture and a vast array of tests are performed on the paints and all the weapons to keep actual bloodshed from happening between the competitors and no one can sabotage the weapons either. But all the competitors are meant to stay together to make sure no one accepts a bribe for losing or winning or whatever and competitors are not allowed to publically bet either on themselves or each other just in case that should sway the betting rings, however they can send to a betting house, under an assumed name or pseudonym, their own private bets to who they think will win, and simply leave an address to where to send the money if they win. But again, that’s meant to be a secret that no one else is to know. But just between you and me, I always bet on my grandma, always, but all of that has to be done the day before the battle, because after midnight tomorrow night, that’s the cut off time.” You confided as you dropped your voice down to a whisper.
“I see.” Demsey replied, keeping his voice down as well.
“Anyway, only the crowd is allowed to place their bets right before the battle and they only have their eyes, watching the final set of stretches and exercises to watch- to make such judgements before the battle. However, there is a private pool, or jackpot, or simply “pot” for short, that’s put together by all the competitors and tomorrow night, there will be a collection taken by the hosts, so Yalin should probably be the one to collect it and her and Gregori will keep it safe until there is a clear winner, usually you put in something that won’t hurt you to lose but that you don’t want to necessarily give it away for free, but you will be happy to get it back. I always put in something simple, like a small pocket knife or a piece of jewelry, or whatever, something that isn’t necessarily really that sentimental to me but has monetary value, enough that anyone would want to win it anyway, or you could just put in money, most men put in either money or daggers or watches or something like that if they are not moura themselves. But when you put it in, you’re supposed to announce what it is and what it’s worth and of course whoever puts in the least valuable thing, if you’re not the poorest of competitors and it’s not something you can afford to give then that’s seen as a sign that your whole heart won’t be in the battle, but if you put in the most expensive or the most important or the most coveted thing in there- that means that you will take everything personally, like it’s a personal attack rather than just a competition and again, you’ll be giving it more than all of your all and it would be too much of a temptation for you to try to cheat in some way so you wouldn’t chance losing that thing. Which is again, a red flag for the rest of us and it can be rejected by the group because you have to submit whatever it is to the group for it to be accepted, and if the whole group of competitors doesn’t trust that you either won’t play fair or won’t give it your all, you can be automatically rejected by the group, however there is one exception.” You explained as you held up a single finger.
“Once you start fighting in Kamoba, that item that you put up, if you end up winning, you have to put up that same item over and over again until you either retire, or lose and the item is lost to someone else. My grandmother always puts in “the dagger”. Which has been put into every battle she has fought and she has only lost it twice but won it back in the next komoba battle she fought. The dagger itself, has been passed down in the family over generations and predates the current rules, the old rules were, you put in your favorite object into the pool. Which was the old rules fifty years ago. But my grandmother is unchanged, she will still put in the dagger and the dagger is priceless, because the Sultan who had it commissioned for his favorite wife, his kingdom no longer stands and the techniques used in it’s creation no longer exist, that’s how old and special this thing is. So she is the only one who puts in something priceless. But no one else. But her dagger alone is world renowned, like that dagger is in every portrait she has ever had done of herself. Like if she continued to be undefeated, she will probably be buried with that dagger.” You revealed.
“Most mouras in Dorierra, have special daggers especially made just for the Kamoba battles, but they use it the day before to cut up their meat and eat with it to use it one last time before they would lose it. So as it stands, my grandmother has hundreds of thousands of daggers, but each one, she keeps in a special room with the name of who she defeated to gain it. Once she passes, she has instructed for it all to be displayed in a museum in Dorierra, along with her portraits as her legacy. And that dagger- comes with world class bragging rights. Honestly I have only held it once and it felt like I was holding the weapon of a god, like I had the power of multiple worlds in my hand and I was a mortal who had no business even looking at it and I was always too scared to even touch it after that because I think I was like, 11 or 12 when I got to hold it. My grandma claims that it is just a dagger, it’s just metal and precious stones and nothing more. But the illusion that it is more than what it seems, always tips things in her favor because I have seen competitors just take one look at it and get intimidated just from looking at the dagger and then completely lose their nerve when they face off against her. She can be really sweet out of the Kamoba arena. She turns into almost a literal viper in it though and she doesn’t hold back or pull her punches.” You warned him.
“And what about you? What do you turn into?” Demsey asked thoughtfully.
“My grandmother calls me The Turquoise Phoenix, because that is my favorite color and the color I always choose during the day battles to paint my weapons with. She says that I am like a phoenix because there have been several times where everyone thought I was beat for sure but I seemed to rise from my own ashes and win at the last moment.” You answered. “Also I always put a piece of turquoise jewelry into the pot, so if it’s turquoise, it’s most likely mine.” You shrugged as you managed to get the saddle off of Heavencrest and carry it over to the saddle stand as Demsey did the same, both of you walking side by side to where the saddles for the griffins were kept as Grevu was still in his tent and the end of the barn as he humphed sulking-ly at you once you came into view.
“Oh I know! Axal didn’t go flying tonight so you had to stay here, I’m sorry, next time we go flying and Axal doesn’t go, I’ll ride you instead of Heavy, how’s that? I’m sorry you missed out.” You offered to Grevu as you came over to him after you put your saddle away and stroked his nose as he sniffed you and gently touched his nose to your lower abdomen and sniffed in deeply then cleaned his nose out, blowing snot onto your legs.
“Do I need to change my underwear or what? You and Heavy keep sniffing me there, it’s making me self conscious, but thanks, apparently I needed dragon snot on my outfit, I’m happy you could provide that for me.” You sarcastically complained in almost a mocking thankful tone as you brought his nose up to your face before you kissed his nose and scratched under his chin and grinned when he churred happily and set his chin on your shoulder before moving his head around to where he wanted to be scratched, like around his horns.
“Oooh, you poor Bay-bey, no one loves you, or gives you any attention, do they? No. You’re just so ignored and neglected.” You cooed to Grevu in your best cooing baby talk voice as Grevu narrowed his eyes at you before he blew his nose out at your face, covering your face and chest in little beads of blue dragon snot.
“Thanks a lot Grevu, thanks, that’s all I needed to make my day complete, you fat rat with wings.” You thanked him as you unzipped your jacket to take the shirt you were wearing and tried to wipe off your face at least as you made a face at how disgusting it smelled.
“Thanks, I’m gonna need another bath tonight, thanks for that. That’s gonna stick in my hair. I'm gonna have to wash my hair twice to get it out, at least, maybe three times.” You complained sarcastically.
“You brat, you’re lucky you’re so cute.” You teased as you playfully batted his nose away before he actually coughed, but at Demsey before Demsey was covered in a giant blue lougie which made you erupt into laughter as you had dodged and missed most of it but Demsey hadn’t seen it coming and just barely had his eyes closed before he was completely plastered in dragon snot.
“What did I do?!” Demsey asked as he just stood and looked at himself and tried not to gag as you laughed even harder.
“This smells like rotten guts, what did you eat?” Demsey asked Grevu who did the dragon’s equivalent of laughing.
“It smells like old...either a cow or old horse or old donkey or something like that, definitely something from a barnyard, and definitely guts.” You guessed as you urged Demsey away and out of the barn as he took big wide steps to try to let most of it, drip, slide and fall off of him before the rest of your family found you and started laughing just as the smell of whatever it was started affecting you and Demsey at about the same time and you both started gagging before you both threw up right there on the lawn which got everyone to stop laughing as Axal was sent for once you started throwing up in the last light of dusk and the grass turned from green- to purple which caused everyone alarm.
“Oh no, send for a doctor. I know the rules of Kamoba means that none of the competitors can take anything to help them but clearly this is an exception right?” Axal asked his family who all readily agreed.
“Get Dr. Wen Shi Chu, he’s my doctor, I only want him to treat me.” You insisted as you laid down in the grass and clutched your middle, the darkness of dusk still highlighting the fact that your vomit was turning the grass a dark indigo violet. But clearly you were much more affected than Demsey was, because once the dragon snot was washed away from him, thankfully he was in flying leathers so it wiped off, and once it was washed away, he was fine, but you seemed to be taking this much harder than he was and affected much more gravely as you continued to vomit, more and more indigo violet puke pouring out of you before your father picked you up and carried you to your rooms after others had tried to wipe the dragon snot off of you too.
“Put me in a bathtub, I feel I’m going to be making a mess tonight.” You urged them as your mother helped strip you out of your flying leathers as you got into the tub but didn’t throw up any further, just laid in the fetal position and clutched your middle as you were instantly in agony.
“Really? Right before a Kamoba battle you cough a loogie on Audra and Demsey and get them sick?” Axal asked his dragon as he waited for Dr. Wen Shi Chu to arrive as Grevu simply turned his back to Axal and farted in Axal’s direction before the smell made Axal start vomiting too.
“Oh you fucking brat! Just because I didn’t take you flying, you throw a fit?!” Axal yelled reproachfully at Grevu between hurls himself as he made it back to the house before his other brothers noticed he was sick and helped him back to his own room just before Dr. Wen Shi Chu arrived as he was brought to your room first.
“What happened?” He asked.
“She and Duke Demsey Voyambi were petting Axal’s dragon Grevu after their evening ride, Grevu snorted snot on her and coughed up more snot on Demsey and made them both vomit and when Axal went to confront Grevu, Grevu apparently farted on him and made him sick as well.” Your mother told him.
“Ah, temperamental dragons, what has the dragon been eating?” Dr. Wen Shi Chu, who simply went by Dr. Chu- asked.
“You’d have to ask the stable hands.” Your mother answered.
“For now, Lady Audra, drink this, it will settle your stomach and steady you.” Dr. Wen offered as he went into his case and took out a vial before you looked from it to your mothers and grandmothers.
“But what about the Kamoba rule of competitors not taking any medicine to improve their health?” You asked them.
“This is obviously a special case, and does not apply, since three competitors have been affected and not just one.” Your grandmother, Loreiris insisted which your mothers readily nodded their agreement to that sentiment before you took the vial and drank it down.
“It should help for now until I have further medication to combat exactly what the dragon ate.” Dr. Chu offered.
“If such bodily functions from a dragon are inhaled or ingested, it can lead to intense sickness, depending on how much was ingested,” Dr. Chu offered to your family.
“They all know about the mourkatili.” You informed Dr. Chu.
“Ah then they will know that you will be the most affected by it and will need the most medicine to keep you stabilized.” He offered.
“Of course.” Your mothers and grandmothers readily agreed before Dr. Wen went and attended to Axal and Demsey, who by now had seemed to recover and returned to the group, but both of them were most anxious to hear how you were faring.
“Because Lady Audra has had mourkatili in her system, her body has been harmed, and because of this, she will need the most medicine and the most intensive care. I understand a Kamoba battle is to take place and she is a competitor, she may need to bow out of the competition.” Dr. Chu advised everyone.
“If that is her choice. But I am perfectly fine with her taking any and all medicine to steady and fortify her and such medical intervention will be allowed and accepted if she is to compete or not, her health is of most importance, screw the Kamoba and it’s traditions right now.” Your grandmother, LoreIris insisted.
“Agreed.” Everyone echoed.
“Then take me to the dragon and bring me to who has been feeding him and I need to know all that the dragon has ingested and I will need to take samples of everything for testing.” Dr. Chu insisted before he was brought around and a light was brought out and when Dr. Chu saw the purple of the grass, he stopped everyone from moving or getting any closer.
“Lady Audra is continuing to purge the mourkatili. You will note it by it’s sweet smell, like violets and it’s violet color, Grevu’s bodily fluids are trying to heal her and he may have tried to affect the other two to bring more attention to the matter, he may have sensed her sickness and is just trying to help, let no one or nothing touch the violet grass, it must be dug up and all the dirt a half a meter underneath it, must be dug up, all do this must wear protective gear and it all must be burned immediately. Or it will kill otherwise.” Dr. Chu advised before Gregori readily ordered for just such measures to be done and then some.
“Ah, Great Grevu, I Dr. Wen Shi Chu bow in respect, I wish to examine you.” Dr. Chu bowed to Grevu as Grevu lifted his head and then got up and turned around to face Dr. Chu and then laid down to face Dr. Chu and bowed his head in turn.
“Were you trying to heal Lady Audra?” Dr. Chu asked as Grevu nodded yes.
“And did you try to bring attention to her sickness by affecting her brother and Duke Voyambi?” Dr. Chu asked as Grevu nodded yes again.
“Very good! He needs to be rewarded, a fine bull this time, no more old and sick animals, for that is what has made them all sick. Many people forget that dragons need dragon fruit, dragon nut, dragon weed, dragon flower, dragon mushroom, and dragon herbs in their diet. All Grevu has had in his diet has been meat and whole, old animals, he needs variety to maintain a balanced diet. You are a royal family, you have all these things, yes?” Dr. Chu asked Yalin and Gregori.
“Well, actually, no- because we’ve never had a dragon with us before so we don’t...have any of that. I don’t think.” Yalin confessed.
“That is ok, I keep a greenhouse at my house, I grow such things, I will have them delivered as soon as possible, but for now, I will need to focus on Lady Audra and get her through the night, if she continues to vomit and give way to her digestive powers, she will be too sick for months to come, she can become dehydrated, and possibly die from such dehydration and will be unable to do anything and may fall back into a deep depression, all efforts and focus must be on her at this time.” Dr. Chu advised before he wrote down directions for his household and sent for his wife to bring the proper medicine before he returned to your room as others came and sat down all around you and silently prayed for your recovery.
“Well this is one way to celebrate the start of the Kamo.” Benny tried to joke which got you to huff a laugh.
“Yeah, this is the greatest one yet.” You sarcastically agreed as you laid in the tub in your night dress but nothing else as a blanket was brought and laid over you as well as a pillow so that you were at least comfortable before Dr. Chu’s wife came with the medicines her husband asked for as well as the plants needed as she soaked cloths in special tea made from dragon weed and dragon fruit and dragon flower and wrapped it around your wrists and hands, ankles and feet and head and chest.
“Just like old times?” You tried to joke with her once she laid the last damp cloth on your forehead as she had you swish out the remaining mourkatili remaining in your mouth with special tea and dumped the light violet colored liquid down the toilet.
“Yes, just like old times.” Lady Chu agreed before she had you drink the rest of the tea once she added some honey and mint to improve the taste and settle your stomach and once your nausea subsided you were picked up, out of the bathtub and laid in bed as Dr. Chu gave you some medicine for sleep.
“Let her sleep as long as she needs, she will need at least ten hours of it, if not twelve, but no more than 14 or 15 because if she sleeps that long, she may end up going into a coma and it may be a few weeks before we can wake her up again but the chances of that happening are very small, one in...one in like a hundred so small chance but still a chance. Now the chances of her waking up in just 9 to 11 hours is very high, like 90 in 100 chances, there can’t be that much mourkatili left in her system now. But when she wakes up, give her anything she is hungry for, her body will know what it needs. If she is to purge again in the morning, have her drink this and she knows how to make this tea and this tonic, simply add the powdered tonic to hot water and the tea into a clean teapot full of hot water also, to steep for several minutes, have her drink the tonic first and the tea second and she should be fine, for now, let her rest in peace.” Dr. Chu prescribed.
“I will stay with her.” Almost everyone insisted in unison.
“No, only one or two, no more, for her sake.” Lady Chu answered.
“I am her mother, I will stay.” Your mother Jodhaa, decided.
“And I am her twin, I will stay too.” Axal insisted.
“Dem...Demsey, how is Demsey?” You asked as you fought to hang onto consciousness as your eyes tried to close as you felt them trying to cement themselves closed as you barely had the strength to roll your head from side to side, but otherwise it felt like your body was made of lead and sleep was dragging you down like a stone in the ocean.
“He is already recovered, I attended to him myself, he is orc, very strong young man, not nearly as affected as you, Grevu gave you the blue healing snot to purge your system of the rest of the mourkatili.” Dr. Chu reassured you.
“Oh good, I was most..most worried...about him. Axal, don’t, don’t stay, Ramsey needs you, let, let Calla stay and mom, don’t stay, stay with dad, I’ll be fine. Trust Dr. Chu, he is the best doctor..in the world, him and his wife.” You whispered before you practically fell unconcious as everyone seemed to give each other a meaningful look and knowing grin as Dr. Chu and his wife beamed proud smiles as the others obeyed your wishes.
“How long have you been treating my daughter?” Your mother Jodhaa asked Dr. Chu curiously as Calla left to get her night clothes to stay with you as the others saw Dr. Chu and his wife out as all of them tried giving something to Dr. Chu and his wife for their services to you.
“Ah for about a year, she sought me out with the mourkatili, I have been treating her intensively ever since. The first six months after she became a widow, we had to wean her off the mourkatili so she would not become an addict and the cold cut off would not drive her to madness and then spend another three months purging her body, I thought we had gotten all we could, but obviously the dragon wanted the rest of it out. Whatever is left in her body should be purged from her body in the morning, it seems a dragon will see to it that it will be finished from where I started. I am most grateful to the dragon as all of you should be too. Dragons often get dismissed as only being animals by most these days instead of being revered like the little gods they are and believe themselves to be. He must have known for Audra to be at her full strength, she needed to purge the rest of it, today apparently. Dragons always choose auspicious times, for us in the moment it may seem inconvenient, but in hindsight, it will be the perfect timing. By tomorrow night, I feel safe in predicting she will be back to her old self, the self you all once knew.” Dr. Chu advised as everyone smiled and blew out their sighs of relief as soon word spread as Charlotte also secretly reported the new development to her grandmother who seemed relieved to hear it and offered her own private wishes and prayers for your recovery as Dr. Chu and his wife returned home.
Demsey seemed relieved to hear the news but he was weary to believe such a thing, it seemed too good to be true as he laid in bed and wanted nothing more than to make sure you were ok as the overwhelming urge to protect you seemed to course through his viens as rest elluded him and panic gripped his soul as his better judgement told him that he needed to see you with his own eyes before got dressed at least in pants and found the secret passage to your room, but was surprised to see it was being guarded by Axal and Ramsey.
“What are you doing here?” Ramsey asked Demsey.
“I...I just wanted to see with my own eyes that Audra is ok.” Demsey confessed as Axal let a crooked grin hike up a corner of his mouth.
“Yeah, sure, come on,” Axal invited as he let Demsey into the room as Calla sat up in bed at hearing the door open.
“It’s just us, Demsey just wanted to make sure Audra was alight with his own eyes.” Axal said.
“Yes, she’s sleeping very deeply. My brothers as well as Benny’s are guarding her door and the hallway to make sure no one comes in or out and I’m sure the rest of Audra’s brothers will be there in the secret passage sooner than later.” Calla revealed as she waived Demsey over to where you still sleeping like an angel there in the bed, your slow, steady, even breathing came through your nose.
“Why the high security?” Demsey asked as he kneeled next to your bed and dared to pick up your hand and hold it, making sure it was still warm and still had life left in it and once he established the touch, the panic and anxiety in his own chest immediately melted away but is possessive protectiveness seemed to be stronger than ever as he didn’t want to leave your side now.
“We wanted to make sure Audra and her medicine were kept safe from tampering with. But one of her last words as she held onto consciousness was concern for how you were faring.” Calla informed him as she tried to keep her scheming grin to herself but her and Axal still shared a meaningful look.
“She’s...an angel.” Was all Demsey could bring himself to say before your other brothers knocked on the secret door and Demsey stood up but couldn’t bring himself to let go of your hand.
“He just wanted to make sure she was ok.” Axal told his half brothers.
“Good, We will be taking shifts all night to make sure she is ok and nothing is tampered with.” Ocerian insisted.
“Ramsey and I will take the first shift.” Axal insisted.
“Can I take part in the shifts?” Demsey asked hopefully, even though by now, he felt his feet practically plant themselves into the floor.
“Can you stay up for the next three hours?” Axal asked.
“No problem, I wouldn’t be able to sleep otherwise.” Demsey insisted as he let go of your hand to get a chair and bring it to your bedside.
“Then Ramsey and I will take the hallway.” Axal agreed before the rest of your brothers and half brothers decided on which shifts they wanted to take and shut the door before the same came to pass among Benny and Calla’s brothers in the hallway outside your bedroom door.
“Demsey, a word of advice.” Calla said as she settled into the bed as Demsey once again picked up your hand to hold it reverently from his spot as he sat down and leaned his elbows on his knees to be as close to you as he could.
“Starting now, do not continue to hide your attraction, affection or attachment to Audra. It is only because she expressed concern for you before she passed out that you were even let into the room because we all knew that Audra would find it comforting when she wakes up. Otherwise, you would have been sent away. It is not lost on anyone, and we all could see that the Dauphin and Dauphine were your only obstacles to her and our understanding of English customs culture, as limited as it is, was our only reason for not interfering either, and now that those have been removed. It is expected you respond in kind. Do not disappoint Audra, she deserves better than she has been getting. It is her own honor that has kept her away from you at the ball at Heavenfield because she believed you were already attached and whoever else has kept your heart and mind from her, you need to make the choice right here and now, who is more important, Audra or whoever else it is. Audra has already rid herself of any and all other obstacles and if she has to make it any clearer to you that she wants to be pursued by you, we are all going to think you were dropped on your head as a baby and are now retarded.” Calla insisted as Demsey nearly snorted snot onto you from snickering a laugh and had to use his free hand to cover up his nose and mouth to keep that from happening.
“Message received loud and clear. I just didn’t want to come on too strongly or too quickly, because that’s what Ramsey had done at the ball and he obviously crashed and burned and I did not want to scare her off, so I thought a more subtle approach would be wise.” Demsey replied.
“Well, yes, true as that may be. Enough of it. We’re all getting impatient. Audra included, but she has become too proper in the English sense to say anything but she is getting weary from restraining herself.” Calla revealed.
“Well when she recovers from this, I will clear the air and set this matter straight with her and make my intentions known in the most clear, direct and forthcoming way possible.” Demsey pacified.
“Oh just pin her up against a wall and kiss her, that’ll do you just fine.” Calla waived off as she turned and pillowed your head with her arm so she could feel if you would move as she cuddled into your side as Demsey huffed a laugh even though his smile was practically dreamy.
“Oh you think I’m joking, I’m serious.” Calla insisted.
“Oh no, I believe you.” Demsey reassured her.
“If she wakes up and returns to her old self again, you may not recognize her though. But at the same time, she has been sorely missed, and we would all be happy to have the old Audra back, I wish you could have met her at her strongest. She was always a force to be reckoned with and always fun and delightful to be around and her energy was that of a child at the first snowfall, eager to leave the house to play in it. And she just radiated happiness and bright sunshine and it’s like her sunshine has been hidden behind a thick fog on a cloudy day this whole time, but tonight it felt like it was just about to lift, and then this happened, we will just have to wait and see.” Calla said sleepily before she seemed to fall asleep herself before Demsey brought your hand up to his mouth to kiss the back of it sweetly and noticed a blank journal and got up and got brought the little bedside table closer to himself and grabbed a pen and decided to write it all down, all of his feelings and his intent, all of it as he happily did this to keep himself awake as he could hear Axal and Ramsey continue to be intimate behind the hidden door which caused him to roll his eyes and shake his head but at the same time, he was relieved that Ramsey was the way he was so that he dismissed himself from you.
“Word’s written down mean nothing without those same words said or those thoughts put into action.” Calla said from her place next to you in the bed, the scratching of the pen writing on the paper waking her up a few pages later as she didn’t even bother to open her eyes.
“I know, go to sleep Calla.” Demsey answered as he already had to refill the reservoir of ink in the pen itself since he had already used up what was in it the first time.
“That’s sister Calla to you.” Calla sassed with a smug grin and a dreamy smile of her own.
“Of course, how could I make such a mistake, Sister.” Demsey retorted with a fond grin of his own before she seemed to settle back into sleep.
The three hours practically flew by like the blink of an eye before Ocearian and Zax came for the second shift as Leumeni came inside the room and was pleasantly surprised to see Demsey in the room as Demsey had slid the notebook under your pillow right as he heard your other brothers in the secret hallway.
“Here to take the second shift?” Demsey asked.
“Yup.” Leumeni confirmed, rubbing what little sleep he had gotten from his eyes as Calla had woken up just a little to witness the change as Demsey left through the passage as Axal himself escorted Demsey back to his own room before going back Ramsey’s room where Octavia and Drina were already fast asleep in Ramsey’s bed as Ramsey happily got in and cuddled with Octavia to get some much needed sleep as Ramsey came in and did the same with Drina so that the guys framed the girls in the oversized bed.
“And?” Leumeni asked Calla.
“He spent practically the whole time writing Audra what was surely the longest and most wordy love letter ever.” Calla answered as she tried to fall back asleep.
“Where is it? I would have thought such a thing would be draped over her like a blanket.” Leu noted as he sat down the chair that Demsey had vacated.
“Knowing him? Under her pillow.” Calla said before she felt under the pillows and found the journal and moved it to be between her own and Audra’s to keep it protected from other prying eyes.
“Oh how gentlemanly of him.” Leumeni chuckled.
“Poor thing. I can’t imagine what kind of frustrations he has pent up.” Calla smiled as she settled back into a good sleeping position as Leumeni raspberried in a scoff.
“I can’t imagine how full his balls must be, since childhood probably, he has to tuck them into his boots.” Leumeni teased, finally being free to make such candid and crude jokes which got Calla to snort a laugh.
“I’m surprised yours aren’t dragging on the floor and will be until you can propose to Kiera and finally unload into her, poor thing will fill up like a balloon.” Calla tossed right back.
“They’re about to be, but the wait will be worth it. She may live in a very strict “polished” society but she is the kind of rebellious wild thing underneath, I can’t wait to see her go practically feral.” Leumeni smiled fondly which got Calla to smile too.
“Heaven forbid she learn of your previous attachment to Audra, she might just go so feral, she’ll go full shield maiden. She’s the jealous type.” Calla murmured.
“Yeah, I’d give everything for all those letters I wrote Audra to never see the light of day, honestly.” Leumeni confessed.
“Well, nothing has been produced yet, and if they haven’t been given up yet, I doubt they ever will.” Calla speculated.
“Gods I hope so.” Leumeni said as he changed how he was sitting in the chair to be more comfortable.
“Good night Leu, watch over her medicine.” Calla instructed sleepily before she dozed off again.
Come morning, after getting exactly 11 and a half hours of sleep, you were surprised to see your heir father in the room, half dozing off as he sat in the chair next to the bed.
“Father?” You asked when you awoke and noticed Calla was practically drooling next to you as she continued to sleep herself.
“Goodmorning Sweetheart. How do you feel?” He asked.
“Uh, groggy, what are you doing here?” You asked him.
“Watching over you, the whole, entire family as well as Calla and her brothers and Benny and her brothers took turns watching over you, to make sure you were not disturbed or that your medicine was not tampered with.” He answered.
“We are in the Palace of Windsor, I doubt…” you began to voice before your heir father gave you a look.
“Yeah, you’re right, better safe than sorry. Uh, can you, call for some hot water?” You requested.
“Of course.” He agreed before he got up and went to the door and told his own sons the order as they readily left their post to deliver the message to the kitchens.
“Everyone watched over me?” You asked.
“Everyone, even the Voyambi’s got involved, I heard that Demsey took this spot on the first watch. Didn’t sleep a wink until Leumeni took his place.” Your heir father reported.
“Even when he was affected…?” You asked.
“You were the only one really affected, Demsey and Axal only threw up once and were much better after. But Dr. Chu, he came and told us that Grevu noticed you still had mourkatili in you and his spit spurned you to purge whatever was left in you out because he was able to imbue the spit with some kind of magic as only dragons still can I guess. That’s why the grass where you threw up in the yard turned violet. It was all dug up and burned just to be safe so that it wouldn’t hurt anyone else. Apparently this medicine will finish it for good.” Sylvar reported.
“He affected Demsey and Axal to bring attention to it.” You realized as you laid back in bed and stretched but smiled fondly.
“Why he would have chosen now of all times though, he could have done that when he first came.” You noted as you frowned in confusion.
“Grevu probably had little opportunity, we haven’t been able to ride since they first came.
“That is true, he must have sensed it that first time but waited until the next opportunity and last night was the first opportunity.” You realized.
“I called him a bratty rat with wings for blowing snot on me.” You admitted.
“Well he is that.” Sylvar nodded in agreement before there was a gentle knock on the door and a maid came in with a morning tea service but had not added the tea leaves to the hot water.
“Thank you, please report to the household that I survived the night just fine and am obviously awake.” You told her.
“Yes my Lady.” She curtsied and left the room as you turned and put your legs over the bed and began the preparations to the tea and the medicinal tonic left behind by Dr. Chu.
“Your strength and resilience has never ceased to amaze me.” Your heir father praised you.
“Thank you.” You thanked him graciously as your face fell.
“Why does this displease you?” He asked.
“Honestly, I’m tired of people telling me how strong I am, how resilient I am, how many hits I can take while still being able to survive the blows, each hit that didn’t kill me did not make me stronger, all it did was just hurt me more, nothing more than that, other than to make me bleed more. It would have been so much easier to give in and just let it kill me, at least I would have been dead and therefore numb to everyone’s disappointment.” You confessed plainly as you braced yourself for the tonic and blew on it to try to cool it down before grimacing as you drank it down before trying to chase it down by eating a scone.
“You’re right. You can start now if you wish, bow out of the Kamoba battle and never get hit again.” Sylvar offered.
“Now let’s not get crazy.” You put your hand up in a stopping motion.
“But if memory serves me right, this tea will make my close proximity to a toilet most important and I want my privacy to bear that particular burden.” You offered as you then poured the now steeped tea out of the little tea pot and filled the same teacup you used for the tonic.
“Of course.” He agreed before he got out of the chair and kissed the crown of your head before he saw himself out before the tea and the tonic seemed to have an immediate effect as you hastily got up and went to the toilet of the bathroom in your room and sat down and began to have a very intense bowel movement and what felt like your period, but it was in one solid chunk of blood, that bled purple into the water of the toilet bowl but after you passed it, you bled no further but at the same time, you were relieved and happy that because it bled no more and nothing purple was left in that part of your body, that your womb was now restored to you which made you smile in relief as a few grateful tears came to your eyes, before another bout of powerful bowel movements passed and you felt five stone lighter.
“Wow, ok then,” you muttered as once you finished you quickly flushed it and went back to the bed and forced yourself to finish the tea before Calla stirred awake.
“Good morning.” You greeted her.
“Good morning.” She greeted you sleepily.
“How do you feel?” She asked.
“Well, I just had the dump like the orcs of old, when they used to crap out the tomb meat and the farway bread.” You answered her.
“And was it violet?” She asked.
“It sure was.” You confirmed.
“Good. Oh there’s something, that once you return to yourself, read what is in the journal under your pillow. I think you’ll find it most interesting and exciting to read.” Calla insisted as she grasped the journal under your pillow and pushed it towards you.
“It should be blank.” You frowned.
“It is blank no more.” Calla smiled in delight before she got out of bed and put a robe on.
“I”m glad you made it through, when you’re done crapping your guts out, come down to breakfast and get them refilled.” She urged you as you sat there and looked from her to the journal curiously.
But just before you could try to open there was another knock on the door. And you quickly shoved it under your pillow again when your half sisters, your mothers and grandmothers were there, in their morning robes to check on you.
“How are you feeling?” Your mother asked.
“Uh, I’ve already drank the tonic and the tea, if you can have someone bring me a breakfast of just simple breads, butters, honey, maybe some eggs, maybe some sausage, but not anything really spicy, the tea is making my closeness to a toilet an absolute necessity until it can run through me.
“Ah, of course, of course,” they readily agreed before they hugged you before you had to interrupt them to run to the bathroom again.
“Well, we should be letting her have her privacy.” Your mother urged them but stayed behind to watch over you herself.
“Anyone else still in here?” You called out.
“Just me Addie.” Your mother called to you.
“Hey, I’m gonna be in here for a while, there’s a journal under my pillow, could you bring it to me so I’m not bored out of my mind?” You requested as curiosity was eating you to see who had written what in it.
“Of course,” she readily agreed as she got it and came into the bathroom just as the last of the mourkatili left you as your hair made the most amazing transformation right before her eyes. Which made her drop the journal on the ground as she gasped and yelled before your other female family members came rushing back into the room and then the bathroom to where your mother was standing the doorway, frozen in shock.
“Audra?!” They yelled.
“What?” You asked your mother as they all came into the bathroom to see you sitting on the toilet as the change continued to take place in your hair as they all gasped as they stared at you in shock and awe.
“What? What is it?” You asked them before your half sister went and got a little mirror and brought it to you.
You gasped in astonishment as you looked at yourself and touched your hair to look at how it was still transforming in front of your eyes.
“Call for Dr. Chu!” You yelled at them before they practically tripped over each other trying to get out of there and out of the room quickly before Amara, Kiera and little Callie came rushing in the moment they left to still see you on the toilet, holding the mirror as you stared at your reflection before they saw you and gasped themselves.
“Don’t say anything! Not to anyone! Especially to Demsey!” You pleaded.

Fate and Phantasms #77: Nikola Tesla
Today on Fate and Phantasms, we’re bringing you the unparalleled scientific genius of Nikola Tesla! This probably isn’t too shocking, but you’ll be throwing around a lot of thunder and lightning in this build.
Check out the build breakdown below the cut, or his character sheet over here!
Race and Background
Tesla’s a Variant Human, for +1 Intelligence and +1 Wisdom, as well as Perception proficiency and the Elemental Adept feat. This means that all spells you cast dealing Thunder Damage ignore resistance, and each damage die is at least a 2. We’ll grab this feat again for lightning later, but explosions tend to start at lower levels.
Tesla’s the definition of a Cloistered Scholar, grabbing a History proficiency thanks to, y’know, being a part of it, and Arcana to take the place of real science.
Stats
You’re one of history’s greatest inventors, so your Intelligence is probably pretty high. Your Charisma is also pretty good, but we’re not investing in charisma skills; you have a forceful personality, but that tends to get you into trouble more than get you out of it. Your Wisdom is strong too; you have to be able to see what you’re doing to invent things. After that is Constitution; your physical stats aren’t good, but this is the least dumpable. After that is Dexterity, then Strength. Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to wear that cool faraday cage armor.
Class Levels
1. Artificer 1: How unexpected, one of the most famous inventors in the world, an artificer? Really breaking new ground here. Anyway, first level artificers are proficient in Constitution and Intelligence saves, as well as two skills. Grab Investigation and Nature to help you investigate nature and bring lightning to humanity. You also get proficiency in several tool types, which will be your spellcasting focus.
First level artificers also have Magical Tinkering, letting you add minor magical effects to tiny objects. There’s a bunch of them, so I’d suggest checking them out yourself. You can also cast Spells, using your Intelligence to prepare and cast them.
Mending will help you repair a broken tool quickly. Shocking Grasp will give you a little spark to start things off early on. Since you can prepare your spells, technically the entire list is available, but I’d suggest having Absorb Elements on hand for some galvanization and Arcane Weapon to energize your own weapons. Later though, you’re not good with any right now. That being said, you’re an inventor, so go with what works for the campaign.
2. Artificer 2: Second level artificers can Infuse Items with magical effects. You know four of them, but can only have two available at a time; so you really only know two. Infused items last until a couple days after you die, or until you swap out that infusion for another one.
I’d recommend Enhanced Defense to help your probably bad AC, and Replicate Magic Item to make yourself a Bag of Holding.
3. Artificer 3: When you hit level three you get to pick a specialty, and the Armorer is great for when you want to encase half of yourself in metal without investing in physical stats. Armorers get Heavy Armor proficiency as well as the specialty spells Magic Missile and Shield. You can also make Power Armor out of heavy armor as an action, removing strength requirements, acting as a spell focus, and preventing it from being removed against your will until the next time you take it off. Your power armor is the Infiltrator Model, reducing its weight, ignoring disadvantage to stealth checks caused by armor, and can be worn under clothes. It also increases your movement speed by 5′, and comes with a Lightning Launcher, a ranged weapon that uses your intelligence, has a range of 90/300 feet, and deals Lightning Damage on a hit. Also, once per turn its strength is doubled, dealing 2d6 instead of 1d6.
4. Artificer 4: Hey, remember when I said we’d get a second Elemental Adept feat? Yeah, we’re doing that now with your first Ability Score Improvement. This does everything the first does, but for Lightning spells instead of thunder. Note that this is specifically spells. This doesn’t do anything for your launcher, unless you also have Arcane Weapon on it.
5. Artificer 5: Fifth level artificers get an Extra Attack in each of their attack actions, as well as 2nd level spells. Your specialty spells are Mirror Image to make yourself even harder to hit, and Shatter for even louder thunder. For other spells, Darkvision and See Invisibility can act as night vision/truesight goggles, if you didn’t pick that up as another infusion. For some very awkward flight, you could use Levitate now too. You won’t be able to move around in the air but all your weapons are ranged, so being 20′ above combat is still a pretty smart move.
So these inventions are all fine and good, but you’re not really bringing the power of the gods yet, are you? Let’s fix that.
6. Cleric 1: You want to be a storm god? Let’s be a storm god. Tempest clerics get proficiencies we don’t need to worry about, plus Spells that use wisdom for casting and preparation. You also get the Wrath of the Storm when you take the class. If you’re hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make a dexterity saving throw based on your cleric spell save. On a failure they take 2d8 lightning or thunder damage, and half as much on a success. You can use this a number of times per long rest equal to your wisdom modifier.
Like artificers, clerics prepare their spells, meaning you’ll technically have access to their entire spell list. You’ll also get Fog Cloud and Thunderwave for free, for even more stormy goodness. For your cantrips, grab Light for larger glowing objects than your Tinkering would allow, Thaumaturgy for dramatic effect, and Guidance to impart your genius onto the rest of the party. For spells outside your freebies, Guiding Bolt combines your love of bolts with your love of showing how smart you are, and Detect Magic gives you yet another tool for uncovering the unknown.
7. Cleric 2: Second level clerics learn to Channel their Divinity in two ways. Turn Undead repels the undead that fail a wisdom save, and Destructive Wrath maximizes lightning or thunder damage from any source, including your Lightning Launcher. Instead of rolling, you automatically deal as much damage as possible. You can currently use this once per short rest.
8. Cleric 3: At third level, you get more second level spells. Gust of Wind and Shatter (Again) will help your storm pick up speed, even though your artificer spells are slightly stronger at the moment. For out of subclass spells, Enhance Ability will help you apply yourself to whatever problems are ahead, and Continual Flame is yet another way to light the path forward.
9. Artificer 6: Bouncing back to artificer for a bit, you get Tool Expertise at level 6, doubling your proficiency bonus in any check using tools. You also get two more infusions for a total of six, and can have a third active at once. I’d recommend the Boots of the Winding Path for extra mobility, but like I said back at level 1, you’re the inventor here; pick the tools that’ll work best for you.
10. Artificer 7: At seventh level, you get a Flash of Genius, letting you add your intelligence modifier to a check or saving throw happening within 30′ of you. You can use this a number of times per long rest equal to your intelligence modifier.
11. Artificer 8: Speaking of your intelligence modifier, let’s make that a bit better, shall we? Use this ASI to improve your Intelligence for more spells, more genius, and a stronger weapon.
12. Artificer 9: Ninth level armorers learn how to make Armor Modifications, allowing their armor to act as four items for infusions; Your armor, boots, bracers, and weapon are all their own parts. You can also infuse two extra items, as long as they’re part of your armor. If you were sitting on Radiant Weapon and Resistant Armor, now’s the time to use them.
You also learn third level spells, including specialty spells Hypnotic Pattern and Lightning Bolt. You also gain access to Fly for a proper flying speed, and Protection from Energy for long-term galvanization.
13. Artificer 10: As a Magic Item Adept, you can attune to four items at once, and you can craft low rarity magic items for faster and cheaper than others. You also get a new cantrip; Thunderclap will add some cantrip thunder to that cantrip lightning, finally. As one last gift, you get two more infusions, and one more that can be used at the same time. I’ll leave the specifics to you- you know what the party needs more than I do at this point.
14. Artificer 11: Our last artificer level nets you the ability to make Spell-Storing Items. This misleadingly named feature lets you store a 1st or 2nd level spell from the artificer list in a weapon or spellcasting focus at the end of a long rest. A creature wielding the item can then cast the spell using your intelligence. If the spell requires concentration, they have to be the one to concentrate. They can use the stored spell a number of times equal to twice your intelligence modifier (8 times), or until you store another spell in an object.
15. Cleric 4: Bouncing back over to cleric gives another ASI, which we’ll be using to enhance your Wisdom. You also get another cantrip; Resistance will help you micromanage your party’s saving throws as well, slightly enhancing them.
16. Cleric 5: Fifth level clerics can Destroy Undead of challenge rating 1/2 or lower, as well as cast third level spells. Your specialty spells, Call Lightning and Sleet Storm, will help you bring a storm down on the heads of your enemies, rather than just man-made lightning. As for out of specialty spells... honestly, most cleric spells don’t really fit your character, but you’re still an inventor, so as long as you have some technobabble to explain it, it’ll probably be fine.
17. Cleric 6: Sixth level tempest clerics can Channel Divinity twice per rest, and also have a Thunderous Strike. Whenever you deal lightning damage to a creature, you also can push it up to 10′ away without any save. Combine this with two attacks per turn from your Lightning Launcher, and you can make sure enemies keep their distance.
18. Cleric 7: Seventh level clerics get fourth level spells; Control Water and Ice Storm aren’t very electrical, but they are free, and useful if you want to add variety to your storm surge.
19. Cleric 8: Your Destroy Undead increases to CR 1, your get one last ASI to improve your Wisdom, and you also gain a Divine Strike. Once per turn, you can add a bit of Thunder damage to a weapon attack. This doesn’t have to be a melee weapon, so now your Lightning Launcher can deal lightning and thunder damage at the same time-convenient!
20. Cleric 9: Your final level lets you cast fifth level cleric spells. Destructive Wave lets you mix your thunderclap with some godly might for some thunder and radiant damage at the same time, and Insect Plague just has absolutely no reason to be here.
Pros:
You have a lot of ways to deal Thunder and Lightning damage, and you’re very frightening with either one. With the ability to push around enemies with every attack from your Lightning Launcher, you have significant control over the battlefield.
You have some sick armor for a spellcaster, which makes up for your middling HP. Some plate armor with Enhanced Defense on it gives you 20 AC, and that’s without a Shield spell up. You’ll also have plenty of infusions available to customize your armor to whatever the party needs that day.
Mixing all those thunder and lightning spells with Destructive Wrath means you’re great at dealing Burst Damage to several enemies at once. Upcharge a lightning bolt, and you can deal a guaranteed 72 damage to everything in a 100′ line. Just make sure you don’t catch any allies in that blast.
Cons:
Splitting your casting class makes it harder to excel at either intelligence or wisdom. It also prevents you from getting higher level spells.
The tempest cleric’s features are nice, but outside of the domain spells, you don’t really get any cleric spells that feel in character without a lot of justification.
You have plenty of spells that require Concentration, and a constitution score of 12. Not only will you have to pick and choose which buffs you use and when, but you’ll also probably burn through spell slots faster than you’d like.
Next up: Significantly less thunder and lightning, but significantly more frightening.

Survey #376
“when the wind bends the branch to softly touch me / when the band plays your song / i feel strong enough to keep dreaming”
If your s/o smoked pot/did drugs would you care? Yes, but for pot that's only because it's illegal here. I also find smoking to be a turn-off, but I'd be able to look past that if it was for actual health reasons. Do people ever call you by your last name? No. Has the last person you dated/fell in love with ever seen you cry? Yes. Where are you going on your next vacation (or where do you WANT to go)? I've got none planned, nor do I know where I'd want to prioritize. Like there's South Africa, but I first need to get healthier before I could handle the heat and trudging through sand. I want to go to Yellowstone National Park to spread Teddy's ashes there (seeking permission of course), but again, I need to be in better shape before I go on a venture of photographing there, as well. I need to be healthier to do a lot of the things I want to... Do you own anything bought in another country? No. Who do you text the most? Sara. Four things you wish you had? Better health (including mental), financial stability, a job, and motivation to indulge more in my artistic hobbies. What was the last thing you cried about? Stress regarding this dog we're stuck with. What is your favorite Elvis song? Probably "You're The Devil In Disguise." Do you think you could be the next American Idol? Ha, absolutely not. Do you prefer reading fiction or non-fiction? Fiction, by a long shot. Does anybody send you money in the mail for your birthday? No. My grampa used to, but he's been dead a couple years. Who is one person you met and automatically didn’t like? I was not a fan of a doctor I once saw for my tremors. She was very rude and just threw the idea of me having Parkinson's or something at what, 17 years old or whatever? My psychiatrist knows her as well and knows she's a whackjob. Heard her name and was essentially like "ew" lmao. What monster would you be most afraid to have in your closet? A male one with a knife, I guess. I really hate knives. And men scare me anyway. Which Adam Sandler movie do you like the most? I don't know, he's in too many to possibly think of one right off the top of my head. Who was one of your first celebrity crushes? Jesse McCartney was my first true love, haha. Have you ever been hit on through text messages? Yes. Do you have to do any yard work? No. Have you ever mowed the lawn? No. Do you get an allowance? No. Did you ever know your great grandparents? I think I knew one? There was this woman from my childhood I knew as "GG" for "great grandma," but I have no recollection of who she was related to or even if she was directly related to me. I remember that I really really liked her, though. Do you like the taste of Tums? It's the texture I really don't like. The candy-like Tums though, y'know, not the chalky ones, I like more than someone should like medicine, haha. How about Pepto Bismol? Omfg no. Do you have a fast or slow metabolism? I have a slow metabolism, but thank Christ it's not as bad as when I was on Abilify. That stupid fucking medicine was the reason I gained so much weight that I haven't been able to lose. What’s your favorite onomatopoeia? (Crash, bang, zoom, meow) I dunno. Do you eat ramen? There's only one specific kind of ramen I've had that I like: Yakisoba's spicy chicken one. Sweet or regular pickles? Regular. I don't like sweet pickles. What kind of dreams do you have most often? Since my nightmares started, violent ones. I'm usually trying to defend myself or lashing out at someone myself. What do you do for personal growth? I try to be a deep thinker, for one. This can way too easily lead to overthinking, but I appreciate that I think it at least helps me learn from my mistakes and work towards making me a better person. I need to start challenging my anxiety more, as that would definitely be massive growth... If you could read anyone’s mind, who would be the first person you’d read? Jason's, only because all I want to know is if he thinks I was emotionally abusive after the breakup or not. But I also don't want to know. Do you have a makeup item or style trick that you feel improves your look significantly and that you feel like you couldn’t go without now that you have it? No. What’s your favourite cereal? Probably Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but I like a lot of cereals. Do you prefer red wine or white wine? I don't like wine. Way too bitter. Do you read Reddit? If so, how often and what subreddits do you like? I don't, but I've thought about lurking on a reptile husbandry one or something like that. Might learn some stuff. But at the same time, there are so many conflicting and very strong opinions amongst hobbyists to the point of awful toxicity that I'd rather not read. Have you recently broken up with a significant other or even just a friend? No. Have you ever eaten at a restaurant and left without paying? God no. When was the last time you played a board game? What did you play? Probably Scrabble back when Sara visited. Do you primarily use cash or card for your purchases? Why? Cash, because I don't have a debit or credit card. Do you believe sex should be mandatory in an ongoing dating relationship? Um, no? Some people don't care for it, and that's completely fine. Have you ever recorded yourself doing a cover of a song? No. Any secrets you’d never tell anyone? No matter how close they are to you? Yes. Do you like deviled eggs? NO. FUCK that yolk shit. What career are you most interested in? I still think my first career goal, a paleontologist, would be most interesting and exciting. Like just IMAGINE discovering a new dinosaur. And it's such a job of passion - you have to be so, SO careful and invest so much time in slowly recovering it from millions of years of rock and sand and time. I can only imagine the feeling of accomplishment when an excavation is complete. Have you ever seen a rooster? Yeah? What do you think about religion? Honestly, I personally wish it had never been a thing. It's brought with it so much hatred and bigotry, but I do acknowledge at the same time it's brought great comfort and hope to some people, and that's wonderful. But just all things considered, I feel it's done more harm than good. What’s your favorite sweetheart name (baby, honey, angel, dumpling) Probably "lovely." Has a little kid ever fallen asleep on your lap before? Yes, back when I babysat my neighbor's kid once. Have you ever thrown a grenade? Yikes, no. Have you ever talked face to face with someone famous before? No. Have you ever owned a rocking horse? I don't think so? If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Have you ever wished you were dead? Yes. Is it awkward when people start talking all deep around you? No, I actually like deep convos. Have you ever played the old school Pac Man arcade game? Possibly? Ever played Mario Karts on Nintendo 64? No. Have you ever been scuba diving? No. Can you surf/boogie board? No. Do you like Chinese food, Mexican food, or American food better? American. What’s your favorite thing to order from Taco Bell? Cheese quesadilla and fiesta potatos. Sometimes I get the cinnabon delight thingies, but I avoid 'em with how unhealthy they are. Do you like hot, cold, or lukewarm showers? Pretty hot. Do you like to swing? I LOVED swinging as a kid. I haven't done it in a very long time now. How about jumping on a trampoline? I loved that as a kiddo, too. I haven't done that in years. What are you favorite color eyes? Sapphire blue or like an emerald green. Do you have long arm hair? Nah, at least I don't think so. What third generation console is your favorite? PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii? I loved my PS3. I'm still so bummed mine broke. How often do you like to have sex? I'm not sexually active, but even when I was, I didn't care. Do you have a facial expression you seem to pull a lot? What is it? Not really. I think I look stoic most of the time. Do you always listen to music when you’re online? No; I usually have a let's play or something like that on that I can split my screen and watch while doing something else. If so, what are you currently listening to? I'm listening to "Love Goes On And On" by Lindsey Stirling and Amy Lee right now. Do you ever forget how to do really simple things? Like what? Yes, like how to control the laundry machine and other things like that. There's just so many options that I never, ever remember what to set it to, no matter how many times Mom shows me. That's how my memory is with most things these days, really... Were you born with naturally straight teeth? No; I needed braces. If you were the opposite gender, what name would you like to be called? Uhhh maybe Severin. Do you prefer original or sour Skittles? I love both, but sour wins. What about chocolate or peanut M&M’s? I also enjoy both, but the original are better. Your favourite band: Do you prefer their old or new stuff? That's like... impossible to answer, lol. I just love everything. Do you check to make sure your ear phones are going in the right ear? No. Do you secretly still listen to Ace of Base? I have no idea who that is. Have you ever broken someone else’s bone? No, thank goodness. I'd feel awful. Is it stupid to think you can write a book at thirteen? No?????????? There are incredibly talented writers out there at young ages. Hell, I remember as a kid, I wanted to be the youngest published author way before that age. Are you ever embarrassed about what you dream about? There've been some I wouldn't share. Have you ever had sex with someone as a favor? No, and I never would. Does your mom let you date? I'm 25, my dude. She let me when I felt ready, though. If you had the last person you kissed’s Facebook password, would you go snooping through their stuff? Why or why not? She doesn't have one, but hypothetically, fuck no. Because that's none of my damn business, and it still wouldn't be even if we were still dating. Have you ever fainted? If so, when was the last time? If not have you ever come close? I've fainted once when I was a teen and have come close many other times. Ever take a keyboarding class? Do you type using the skills you learned in class, or how you used to before you took the class? Yeah; it was mandatory for I think one year in middle school. I type how I was taught in there. Do you find your best friend’s significant other/crush attractive? She doesn't have an s/o, and idk who her "real" crush is, as much as she'd love Frieza to be real, haha. What do you do with your clothes that don’t fit anymore or just don’t want? Donate them. Do you cut out coupons? My mom will keep some fast food ones she gets in the mail sometimes. Did you ever breathe in helium and talk funny afterwards? I think I did once at a birthday party, but I'm unsure. Would you ever open your own business? If so, what kind of business could you imagine yourself having? I want to be a freelance photographer so, so badly. I want to specialize in nature and wildlife, but having a boudoir studio would be great to help keep me afloat, plus I adore the art of boudoir. I've shot it once for an old friend, and by god, I loved how empowered it made her feel, especially as a plus-sized woman. She adored the pictures, and I'd just love to help other clients feel like they're gorgeous in their unique body, too. Last type of candy you ate? I had a donut from Starbuck's yesterday. Did you decorate your house for Halloween? If so, how many decorations? Did you go all out, or just put up a few things? Mom and I don't really decorate anymore. :/

1. When you have a container of Neapolitan ice cream, what flavor do you leave for last? Chocolate.
2. Would you rather be caught in a thunderstorm without an umbrella or a snowstorm without boots? Snowstorm without boots. As someone in a wheelchair, boots wouldn’t make a difference for me.
3. Let’s say you have access to a time machine, but it can only go either backward or forward. One or the other. Which do you choose and where do you go? Backwards. I would probably go just a few years back so I could change some things that are affecting me now.
4. If you could choose to have any superpower ever, what would you pick? Time travel would be pretty dope.
5. Tomorrow morning, you wake up in the body of a celebrity, like in a ’90s body-swap movie. Who is it? How do they react to your life? What do you do when you’re “them”? Would you choose to switch back? Hmm. Maybe Oprah. She’s a billionaire and lives a pretty low key life. Ha, not sure how she’d react to waking up as a 31 year old paraplegic who is dealing with physical and mental health issues and spends most of their time in bed, not doing a whole lot, and is certainly not rich. Maybe she’d be able to catch up on rest if needed? ha. As for me, I’d like to just go to a nice private getaway somewhere. Buy a house for real me and my family to have when we switch back and furnish it. If we weren’t in a pandemic, I’d love to travel. I’m sure she has a private jet. I’d have to remember I’m Oprah, though, so I couldn’t just go out and about freely without being bombarded. I’d figure out something. Anyway, I definitely would switch back, but it would be fun for a little bit. I could feel what it’s like to be successful and a functioning adult with a very comfortable income.
6. Any allergies? Just seasonal ones.
7. What would you be more embarrassed to buy: sex toys or adult diapers? Sex toys.
8. Did you get enough sleep last night? I never do.
9. You’re the sole witness to a Mafia murder. Witness protection has to set you up with a whole new life in a totally new country. You have to leave everything behind, but you can pick where you move to. Where do you go? Uhhh. Wow, I have no idea. That would be horrible.
10. If you could star in a biopic about any famous person ever, who would it be? I don’t want to be in a movie or TV show.
11. What’s the biggest animal you’ve ever killed? I’ve never killed any animal.
12. Would you rather have millions of dollars but always feel nauseous when you go outside, or be dirt poor forever but never get sick again in your entire life? Oh man. Not be to sick ever again sounds amazing, but... that’s tough. Can I take Dramamine for the nausea? ha.
13. A wizard offers you immortality in exchange for your two front teeth. Do you take it? No.
14. Could you win the Hunger Games? Absolutely not.
15. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? How about as a teen/adult? Hm. I was a witch or a vampire a lot as a kid. As an adult I was a vampire a few times, but a “cool” one cause I had a leather jacket. haha.
16. Do you bite your nails? I pick at and clip my nails. Constantly.
17. What was the first movie you remember seeing in the theater? The first one I remember is The Rugrats Movie, but I know that’s not the first one I ever saw.
18. Do you prefer music with male or female vocalists? I enjoy a variety of music from both.
19. You and the love of your life are having a baby, and you get to choose the name! There’s only one catch: your partner INSISTS that it be the name of a place, real or fictional. What do you name your baby? Sydney.
20. If you could reboot or remake any movie, what would it be and who would you cast? I don’t know, man.
21. If you could automatically know how to speak any language or play any instrument, which would you choose? I’d love to be able to play the piano. I took lessons when I was younger, but was just alright. I think I had potential had I taken it more seriously and practiced more. But yeah, I’d love to be a fabulous pianist.
22. For you, would getting amnesia be a good thing? Um, no.
23. If you curse loudly and then realize that there are children nearby, what is your reaction? I don’t curse very often as it is and I’m pretty good about who’s around when I do, but I’d just be like, “whoops, sorry.”
24. Of what animal are you most afraid? I have this irrational fear of killer whales. I never encounter them, thankfully, but the fear is still real. I can’t even look at a photo of one. However, I don’t really have like an active fear of animals, if that makes sense. I just avoid any photos or videos or anything of killer whales. And like, there are many animals that could rip me apart and that’s terrifying, but it’s not as present or active or whatever as my fear of bugs, which I do encounter and are much more likely to.
25. Pizza or oral sex? Odd combo, but I’ll take the pizza.
26. Without looking them up, can you explain the rules of football? How about Quidditch? Nope.
27. You’re in the car, switching channels on the radio when you hear a song that makes you go “OH SHIT, THAT’S MY JAM!” What song is it? It could be a lot of songs, from something more recent to something from back when I was growing up.
28. Have you ever paid to see a Step Up movie? No.
29. If you were being executed tonight, what would you choose for your last meal? I really don’t think I’d have an appetite.
30. Have you ever bought an item of clothing because it reminded you of something a fictional character would wear? No.
31. If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? Would I be immune to the virus if I were invisible? If so, then I’d travel.

35. How much black do you wear on a regular basis? That’s a lot of my wardrobe.
36. Do you have any tattoos? Do you want any? No. I’ve kinda wanted one for years, but I really don’t see myself ever getting one.
37. If someone offered you a free pet snake, would you take it? NOOO.
38. Do you know how to pronounce the word “pinochle”? I don’t know if I’m saying it right, I’m not familiar with the word.
39. Can you think of anything more boring than bird watching? Watching paint dry.
40. Are you better with numbers or words? Words, definitely.
41. At the movies, do you stay for the credits? Only for certain movies that have end credit scenes, like the Marvel movies.
42. Is morality universal or relative? Hm.
43. Let’s say you’re getting married to someone you absolutely adore. The only catch is that you met them through a Craigslist hookup ad that was supposed to be just for one night of casual sex. Would you tell your friends how you and your fiance met? I might leave out it was just supposed to be for one night of casual sex.
44. What’s the worst name you’ve ever been called? I’ve said the worst things to myself.
45. Would you eat human flesh if it had been harvested and prepared humanely? Um, HELL no. It would make no difference to me how it was prepared, it’s not happening.
46. At what age did you stop believing in Santa? I think I was 8.
47. Do you get along better with old people or little kids? Older people.
48. If you had to choose, would you rather become a nun/monk or a drug dealer? None.
49. What’s your best bodily feature, objectively speaking? I hate my body, I’m very self-conscious about it.
50. Who is your favorite late night talk show host? I don’t have one anymore, but back in the day I used to watch Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. I was around for the whole late night TV drama that went down years ago between them.

survey by lets-make-surveys
1 - Are you one of those people who can watch TV shows and movies over and over again without getting bored? Yeah this is pretty much my approach to all of my favorites. if a show or movie is able to join that club, then I automatically have no problem watching it over and over. Case in point, Friends for TV shows and The Proposal for movies.
2 - If you drink coffee, do you like it plain or would you rather have something like a latte or something flavoured? I never take coffee black. I mean I’ve had a few sips of it from friends’ cups before, but it just made me miserable loooool.
3 - How did you used to dress ten years ago? Do you dress in a similar way now? Ten years ago I was 12 and had no fashion sense whatsoever. I just put on whatever hand-me-down I got or whatever my mom would get me when she’d go window shopping. Didn’t really start putting in effort in my outfits until the end of high school.
4 - When you’re grocery shopping, do you buy known brands or are you happy to go with the generic store version? Known brands, because most of the time they end up having a better quality as well.
5 - Do you have a close relationship with any of your cousins? I’m super close with only one cousin, the eldest one on my mom’s side. He’s pretty much like an older brother to me and my siblings. Everyone else on my mom’s side is too young for me to get truly close with; my cousins on my dad’s side are too shy and also live too far away for me to be able to keep up a close relationship with them.
6 - Who was the last person to sleep over at your house? Does this person stay over often or was it more of a one-off? Gabie, I think. She stayed over a lot before, but obviously not anymore.
7 - Does bad weather put you off going out if you’ve got plans to do so? Have you ever cancelled plans due to the weather? Only if a typhoon is really strong; like now, and how they actually had to cancel work today because of the power outages everywhere and because residents in other cities are already being brought to evacuation centers where they can be safe. I had no idea work suspensions were a thing lmao so I was glad to read the message today; I didn’t know how I was going to work with only data and limited battery for both my phone and laptop (power’s been out in our house since 1 AM). :(
8 - When you’re on vacation, do you prefer doing the typical tourist things, or would you rather explore somewhere off the beaten track? I will enjoy a tourist thing or two, but otherwise I’d focus on the less-explored or less-visited attractions. It’s usually the museums or historical landmarks, which is a shame.
9 - Did your family travel a lot when you were younger? From the time I turned 11, which I think was the time my dad got a good promotion and money got a lot better at home. We’d go for vacations locally and abroad every time he was home, which was every 5-6 months.
10 - When was the last time you went shopping for clothes? Did you get anything decent or find any bargains? Around March, I think. Yeah, I found two tops that were both bargains.
11 - Is it true that accessories can make or break an outfit? For sure. With me, it’s bags.
12 - What is your worst memory from high school? What about the best? The absolute worst that I can remember was when we had to role-play as our chosen character in the novel we were taking up in Filipino class; and for some wild reason I chose the most extravagant, bitchiest, flamboyant character...for whom I do not have even the slightest acting chops. When I got to the front of the classroom that’s when I realized my mistake, blanked out, realized I wasn’t going to be able to act as her, and fumbled for the next five minutes.
My favorite bits from high school were the lunch periods I spent with my friend group. Even if we don’t talk anymore, I’m just grateful I was able to find a home in a group in high school.
13 - Is there any trait in a potential partner that would be a total dealbreaker for you? Right now my biggest dealbreaker is if they aren’t Gabie...lol. Other than that, I imagine being hugely turned off by poor hygiene.
14 - Do you insist people use coasters if they’re putting drinks down in your house? No. I wish we did have coasters as I find them aesthetically pleasing haha, but my mom doesn’t find them necessary
15 - Have you ever been arrested? Were you guilty of whatever it is you were arrested for? Never been.
16 - Name five items on the shelf nearest to you: I don’t have shelves in my room.
17 - After meals, do you wash dishes up right away, or do you leave them in the sink and do a whole days worth at once? I leave them in the sink and soak it with water and dishwashing soap for an hour or so, so that by the time I get back to it it’s easier and quicker to wash. So I do leave them, but I don’t wait until I have 4353894753246 dishes to wash by the end of the day.
18 - What websites do you find yourself spending the most time on? These days I’m primarily on Google Suite, honestly. Work eats up my week.
19 - Do you still download music and TV shows? No. Nearly all media I consume these days is thanks to an online subscription. The only exception is YouTube, I think.
20 - Does your phone have a good battery life? How long does it last before you need to charge it again? I don’t know how it fares compared to other brands, but I’m generally okay with my phone’s battery life. It lasts around 2-3 hours if used continuously, but if I’m out all day and on the go, it can last a whole day with me.
21 - When was the last time you hit snooze? Yesterday.
22 - Did you ever play The Sims? Which expansion pack was your favourite, if you had any? I did play The Sims a lot before – mostly Sims 2 on the PS2, Sims 2 Pets on the PSP, and Sims 4 on the PS4. I never explored the expansion packs too much, though.
23 - Are there any popular film series or TV shows that you just don’t get the appeal of? Game of Thrones and any Marvel movie.
24 - As a child, did you receive pocket money or an allowance? How much did you get? Was it dependent on you doing chores of some kind? Eh, not really. I didn’t receive an allowance of any kind until I was in high school when I started to be given P100 (roughly $2) a day, which was enough for snacks and lunch. No, I didn’t do chores to get the money.
25 - Do you think your parents did a good job of raising you? Would you do anything differently with your own kids? They taught me manners, showing respect, and different values like recognizing my privilege, giving to the poor, understanding my enemies in school, etc. But my childhood seriously lacked emotional maturity, physical affection, and, generally...just being treated like a kid; and I definitely feel the effects from these until today. I was already yelled at from age 5, and that has made me afraid of anyone who ever so slightly raises their voice. I’d do a lot of things differently with my own kid/s.
26 - If something is bothering you, do you have to fix it right away? Not always. Sometimes I run away from it first.
27 - Are there any household jobs you enjoy doing? If so, what’s the reason that you enjoy those things? This isn’t much of a chore as washing dishes or cleaning the bathroom, but I love making my bed. It gives me a sense of productivity and accomplishment, and it’s honestly a form of self-care. I always have the option of letting my bed stay messy and then feeling like shit about it the whole day, so when I do make my bed and fold up my blanket and everything, it gets a little easier to pat myself on the shoulder.
28 - Do you still live in the area you grew up in? Would you like to live somewhere else one day? Where would you go? Yeah, we literally just moved to the village right next to the one I grew up in. I’ve lived here nearly all my life, so I can’t wait to move someplace else. In the city, preferably; with skyscrapers and the constant sound of traffic, construction, and people walking. I feel I’d be happier there.
29 - Do you smoke, drink or do drugs? How old were you the first time you tried those things? Do you want to quit? I drink, vape, and smoke, but I’m not reliant on any of these. I had my first drink at 18, and I smoked and vaped for the first time when I was 21. No, I don’t have plans to quit.
30 - What’s one thing that really grosses you out? Is it something you have to deal with anyway? How do you cope? Cockroaches. Sometimes we’ll see a cockroach roaming around the house, but it’s super rare so I wouldn’t say I regularly deal with them. I cope by yelling for my mom or dad to come kill it, ha.

so i did a reading challenge this year and i wanna talk about what i read
transcription under the cut
i did Popsugar 2019 and wanna talk about what i read: Book Reccs and Anti-Reccs
1.) Becoming a Movie in 2019: Umbrella Academy (vol 1) by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba
4/5. A fascinating take on superpowers, dysfunctional families, and the apocalypse. Can get pretty gory, confusing here and there and you have to pay close attention to panels for lore, but overall an entertaining romp.
2.) Makes you Feel Nostalgic: Circles in the Stream by Rachel Roberts
4/5. Middle grade novel about the magic of music, belief, and of course, friendship. Definitely written for kids, and has some unfortunately clumsy Native rep, but overall an absolute joy to dive into once again.
3.) Written by a Musician: Umbrella Academy (vol 2) by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba
4/5. Ramps up the confusion to ridiculous degrees with some absolutely bonkers, unexplained arcs, but still fun to watch this dysfunctional family do its dysfunctional thing.
4.) You Think Should be Turned into a movie: All That Glitters by Rachel Roberts
4/5. Continuation of Circles in the Stream, but with more unicorns, more rainbows, and more fae, which makes it automatically even better than the first.
5.) With At Least 1 Mil. Ratings on Goodreads: 1984 by George Orwell
1/5. I understand why it's important and all but wasn't prepared for some of the more graphic scenes and the overall hopelessness of the message. Would not recommend or read again.
6.) W/ a Plant in the title or cover: The secret of Dreadwillow carse by Brian farrey
5/5. A fantasy world where everyone is always happy, save for one girl and the princess, who set out to solve the mystery of their kingdom. Poignant and great for kids and adults.
7.) Reread of a favorite: Cry of the Wolf by Rachel Roberts
4/5. Yet another installment in the Avalon: Web of Magic series, which clearly I am obsessed with. Please just read them.
8.) About a Hobby: Welcome to the Writer's Life by Paulette Perhach
5/5. A welcome kick in the pants, chock full of great advice told without condescension, and full of hope and inspiration for writers both new and old.
9.) Meant to read in 2018: The Poet x by Elizabeth Acevedo
4/5. Absolutely beautiful coming of age novel told in verse. Do yourself a favor and listen to the audiobook version.
10.) w/ "pop," "sugar," or "challenge" in the title: Black Sugar by Miguel Bonnefoy
2/5. I think maybe I just don't understand this genre. Or maybe the translation was weird. I was confused.
11.) w/ An Item of Clothing or Accessory on the cover: Our dreams at Dusk by Yuhki Kamatani
4/5. It had a lot more slurs/homophobia than I was prepared for, but otherwise is a very touching, relatable collection of queer characters living in a heteronormative world.
12.) Inspired by Mythology or Folklore: Ravenous by MarcyKate Connolly
3/5. A girl goes on an impossible quest to save her brother from a child-eating witch. Really wanted to like it more because I loved the first one, Monstrous, but it dragged a little.
13.) Published Posthumously: The Islands of Chaldea by Diana Wynne Jones
3/5. I adore Diana Wynne Jones, but this one was missing some of the magic of her other books. Not sure if it was because it had to be finished by someone else, or if I just grew out of her stories.
14.) Set in Space: Binti by Nnedi Okorafor
4/5. Powerfully written story of a girl straddling tradition and innovation, who wields power through mathematical magic, surviving on a spaceship alone with a dangerous alien occupation after everyone else has been killed.
15.) By 2 Female Authors: Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian
2/5. Ostensibly a story about a revenge pact in a small island town, but leaves far too many dangling threads to attempt alluring you to the sequel.
16.) W/ A Title containing "salty," "bitter," "Sweet," or "Spicy": The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith
3/5. It's okay but I literally just never know what anyone means at any time. Are they being reticent on purpose or do i just not understand communication
17.) Set in scandinavia: Vinland Saga by Makoto Yukimura
2/5. Technically and historically accurate and well made, but the story itself is not my cup of tea. Very gory.
18.) Takes Place in a Single Day: Long WAy Down by Jason Reynolds
4/5. A boy goes to avenge his murdered brother, but ghostly passengers join him on the elevator ride down. Stunning and powerful character-driven analysis.
19.) Debut Novel: Nimona by Noelle Stevenson
4/5. Charming and then surprisingly heart-breaking comic about Nimona, a shapeshifter who wants to become a villain's minion. Really love the villain/hero dynamic going on in the background, along with the dysfunctional found family.
20.) Published in 2019: The Book of Pride by Mason Funk
4/5. A collection of interviews with the movers, shakers, and pioneers of the queer and LGBTQ+ community. An absolutely essential work for community members and allies alike.
21.) Featuring an extinct/imaginary creature: Phoebe and her Unicorn by Dana Simpson
4/5. Incredibly charming, Calvin and Hobbes-esque collection of comics featuring the adventures of Phoebe and her unicorn best friend.
22.) Recced by a celebrity you admire: The Emerald Circus by Jane Yolen
2/5. Recced by my fave author Brandon Sanderson. An unfortunately disappointing anthology proving that any story can be made uninteresting by telling the wrong section of it.
23.) With "Love" in the Title: Book Love by Debbie Tung
4/5. One of those relatable webcomics, only this one I felt super hard almost the entire time. Books are awesome and libraries rule.
24.) Featuring an amateur detective: Nancy Drew: Palace of Wisdom by Kelly Thompson
4/5. REALLY love this modern take on Nancy Drew, coming back home to her roots to solve a brand new mystery. Diverse cast and lovely artwork, though definitely more adult.
25.) About a family: Amulet by Kabu Kibuishi
4/5. Excellent, top tier graphic novel about a sister and brother who have to go rescue their mother with a mysterious magic stone. LOVE that the mom gets to be involved in the adventure for once.
26.) by an author from asia, Africa, or s. America: Girls' Last tour by Tsukumizu
4/5. Somehow both light-hearted and melancholy. Two girls travel about an empty, post-apocalyptic world, and muse about life and their next meal.
27.) w/ a Zodiac or astrology term in title: Drawing down the moon by margot adler
3/5. A good starting place for anyone interested in the Neo Pagan movement, but didn't really give me what I was personally looking for.
28.) you see someone reading in a tv show or movie: The Promised NEverland by Kaiu Shirai
4/5. I don't watch TV or movies where people read books so i think reading an adaptation of a TV series after watching the series counts. Anyway it was good but beware racist caricatures
29.) A retelling of a classic: Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy by Rey Terciero
5/5. We can stop the Little Women reboots and retellings now, this is the only one we need. In fact, we can toss out the original too, this is the only one necessary.
30.) w/ a question in the title: So I'm a spider, so what? by Asahiro Kakashi
4/5. Cute art despite the subject matter, and a surprisingly enthralling take on the isekai genre. Love the doubling down on the video game skills.
31.) Set in a college or university campus: Moonstruck (vol 2) by Grace Ellis
2/5. An incredibly cute, beautiful, and fascinating world of modern magic and creatures, but unfortunately falls apart at the plot and pacing.
32.) About someone with a superpower: Moonstruck (vol 1) by Grace Ellis
4/5. Though nearly as messy plot-wise as its sequel, the first volume is overwhelmingly charming in a way that overpowers the more confusing plot elements.
33.) told from multiple povs: The Long way to a Small, Angry Planet by becky Chambers
4/5. Told almost in a serial format, like watching a miniseries, a group of found-family spaceship crew members make the long journey to their biggest job ever.
34.) Includes a wedding: We Set the dark on fire by Tehlor kay mejia
4/5. Timely and poignant, a girl tumbles into both love and resistance after becoming one of two wives to one of the most powerful men in the country.
35.) by an author w/ alliterative name: The only harmless great Thing by brooke bolander
3/5. Much deeper than I can currently comprehend. Beautifully written, but difficult to parse.
36.) A ghost story: Her body and other parties by Carmen Maria Machado
4/5. It counts because one of the stories in it has ghosts. A sometimes difficult collection of surrealist, feminist, queer short stories.
37.) W/ a 2 word title: Good omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
4/5. Charming, touching, and comical, probably the best take on the apocalypse to date. Also excellent ruminations on religion and purpose.
38.) based on a true story: The faithful Spy by John Hendrix
4/5. Brilliantly crafted graphic biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and his assistance in fighting back against Nazi Germany.
39.) Revolving around a puzzle or game: the Crossover by Kwame alexander
4/5. The verse didn't always hit right with me, but the story is a sweet, melancholy one about family, loss, and moving on.
40.) previous popsugar prompt (animal in title): The last unicorn by peter s. Beagle
5/5. Absolutely one of my all-time favorite books, it manages to perfectly combine anachronism and comedy with lyricism, melancholy, and ethereal beauty.
41.) Cli-fi: Tokyo Mew Mew by Mia ikumi and Reiko Yoshida
4/5. Shut up it counts
42.) Choose-your-own-adventure: My Lady's choosing by Kitty curran
3/5. Cute in concept, a bit underwhelming in execution. Honestly, just play an otome.
43.) "Own Voices": Home by Nnedi Okorafor
3/5. The storytelling style was definitely not my style; while the first book was slow, too, it felt more purposeful. I found my attention wandering during this installment.
44.) During the season it's set in: Pumpkinheads by rainbow rowell
3/5. Cute art, but precious little substance. The concept simply wasn't for me in the first place.
45.) LITRPG: My next life as a villainess: All routes lead to doom! by Hidaka nami
5/5. An absolute insta-fave! Charming art, endearing characters, an incredible premise, and so much sweet wholesome fluff it'll give you cavities.
46.) No chapters: The field guide to dumb birds of north america by matt kracht
3/5. It started out super strong, but the joke started to wear thin at a little past the halfway point.
47.) 2 books with the same title: Unfollow by Megan Phelps-Roger
4/5. A brave and enduring personal story of growing up in and eventually leaving the Westboro Baptist Church. Really called to me to act with grace and kindness even more in the future.
48.) 2 books with the same title: unfollow by rob williams and michael dowling
1/5. How many times do you think we can make Battle Royale again before someone notices
49.) That has inspired a common phrase or idiom: THe Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
4/5. Definitely good and deserves it's praise as something that pretty much revolutionized and created an entire demographic of literature.
50.) Set in an abbey, cloister, Monastery, convent, or vicarage: Murder at the vicarage by agatha christie
3/5. I just cannot. physically keep up with all of these characters or find the energy to read between the lines.
ok that's all i got, what did y'all read and like this year? (oh god it’s gonna be 2020)

Modern Shin Megami Tensei (read: megaten games that do more than just a damage multiplier for hitting a weakness) typically are designed in a way where setting yourself and your allies up for a magic build is the better and/or only viable option. Notable exceptions include going for the True Demon Ending in Nocturne Maniax, which effectively forces you to use the pierce passive which in turn requires your damage to be physical, and Apocalypse difficulty for IVA, which has a hefty hitrate reduction for all your attacks and a mid-game skill that guarantees your next phys attack will hit (because it makes it a crit, and you can’t crit if you miss :^U with the added bonus of getting extra actions just like if you had hit a weakness since you’re getting a crit), but those examples are heavily lopsided in favor of Phys and usually the other games don’t have enough enemies with phys/gun/etc weaknesses to make investing in it worth it and they often don’t give you a large enough MP pool on phys-oriented allies to make using them worth the effort (IV is incredibly guilty of this).
Not doing this happens to be one of the things sharpFE does incredibly well, and though it’s not without a few issues (on the scale of a handful of skills instead of the usual ‘entire build archtypes’), the most recent footage they’ve shown off makes it seem like it’s entirely possible those problems have already been addressed in Encore.
-----
Some required reading before I actually get to the point of this post: for those of you with actual taste who haven’t played TMSFE, its “hit a weakness” gimmick is Sessions. When you hit a weakness with a skill or an item (but not an auto attack), if a character in your party has a session skill that corresponds to the element that you hit with, you’ll start a session and they’ll do an attack which has its own element. If a character who hasn’t participated in that session yet has a skill that will start a session off of the session attack that just ended, they will then perform their own attack. This continues until someone’s attack is nullified (through a Null, Reflect, or Absorb) or until everybody who can participate in that session has attacked, though there are ways to extend sessions (Duo Arts, which I’ll also explain) and ways to start sessions against an enemy that isn’t weak to that specific element (which I’ll also go into). When there are multiple possible sequences for a given session, the game automatically selects a path that doesn’t end prematurely (if at all possible) and the one that deals the most damage most.
For example, let’s say you’ve just started the first chapter and your party is only Itsuki, Tsubasa, and Touma. Among whatever their other skills may be, Itsuki has the light sword-element command skill Cleave, Tsubasa has the session skill Fire-Lunge (where she does a light lance attack when a session includes a fire attack), and Touma has the session skill Sword-Blaze (which, you guessed it, is a light fire attack that follows a sword attack).
Itsuki hits an enemy’s sword weakness, Touma does a followup fire attack, and Tsubasa does a followup lance attack.
You’ve tripled your damage output against that enemy in a single attack, which, needless to say, is why Session attacks (especially when you can start getting party members who aren’t on the field to join in and when you can extend them even further through Duo Arts) are vital to killing your enemy before they kill you with a session of their own.
Duo Arts are the other Main Big Thing for dealing enough damage to not die a horrible (but incredibly stylish!) death. They’re special attacks with a skill-based (the stat) chance of randomly appearing during a session that have varying effects when activated (ranging from just Big AoE Damage, to Healing status and/or hp and AoE Damage, to AoE Damage and an AoE status effect, and so on). When the chance to activate a Duo Art appears you’ll have the choice between two of the ones you’ve obtained and you can opt to go for whatever you need more at the time, but the super important thing about Duo Arts is that they act as a starting point for a follow-up session (which excludes the two people who cast the duo art) if there’s a character that can start a session off of that Duo Art’s element. You can activate a Duo Art twice off of a single skill usage (meaning up to three sessions), which, in addition to whatever damage you’re dealing through the duo arts, gives you up to 17 attacks.
The last piece of background information that I feel the need to touch upon is the elemental affinity/weakness system. Every attack and skill (barring healing skills and support skills like Charge or Tarukaja) has a elemental affinity from one of the following categories: Sword, Lance, Axe, Bow, Fire, Ice, Electric, Wind, Spirit, Body, and Almighty. Almighty attacks can be considered ‘untyped’ damage, but every enemy could potentially be weak or resistant (or take unmodified damage, reflect that damage, nullify that damage, or absorb that damage) to any of the other elements. Spirit and Body are almost exclusively reserved for ailment attacks (turning the ‘nerve’ and ‘mind’ classifications for ailments from the mainline games into an actual type that you actually can see if an enemy resists or is weak to), though there are damage-dealing Spirit and Body skills available to both you and -much more commonly- to enemies.
There are also skills with "effective against [class]” effects, like Armorslayer or Wyrmicide, which allow you to ignore any potential resistances when you use them against an enemy of that class (or when used against you) and start a session without them being weak to the element of the skill (which also ignore resistances).
Finally, there’s a special type of skill called a Special Performance that each character has a few of that can do various things (ranging from damage, to buffs and healing, to creating weaknesses on the enemies, to giving everyone an extra turn), and if they deal damage they operate under the same rules as [class]bane skills for starting a session. There’s a shared meter that you cast from for Special Performances but how that works isn’t important to this post.
-----
ANYWAYS:
The main reason why TMSFE doesn’t fall into the trap that a lot of megaten games do regarding STR and MAG builds is because the elemental affinity of an attack is uncoupled from being Str/Mag based. In game this really only manifests for Fire/Ice/Elec/Wind skills having the potential to be str-based since it doesn’t really make sense to make a sword Mag-based, but it means that every character can specialize in Str or Mag and still have access to both both a traditionally physical element and a traditionally magical element (ex. Touma is Str based, but learns both Lance and Fire element skills). Within your party, Kiria is Mag-based, Itsuki and Tsubasa have a mix of Mag- and Str-based attacks (while Itsuki leans more towards a Str-focused statline and Tsubasa more towards Mag) and everyone else is Str-based.
Speaking of Kiria, who acts as a dedicated mage/healer, she does not have a traditionally physical element that she can deal damage through (her autoattack deals untyped phys damage and is also really really bad) and instead has access to every other traditionally magic element when everyone else gets like, a single fire/ice/elec/wind attack that isn’t what they specialize in (ex. Touma getting a Wind attack).
I’ll be coming back to her in a moment.
The other reason why TMSFE doesn’t succumb to a chronic state of ‘phys is bad’ is because it just. Makes enemies weak to physical elements.
Wild, isn’t it? When you have four different types to spread these weaknesses across instead of one or two (and make your weakness exploitation gimmick not work with autoattacks) you can actually use them. I glanced through the enemy list and it’s nearly a universal rule that when an enemy doesn’t have a weakness to a weapon element and a magic element, they have a bunch of weaknesses to one and a ton of resistances to the other (in the same way that Knights in FE are heavily geared towards wanted to not be attacked by mages).
It’s free re- good game design
Anyways.
Kiria. And the one real problem (oversight, really) with this system. The problem isn’t but it’s a problem that’s a problem for her.
So Kiria has access to the only pure damage dealing Spirit skill you get (Flux, while Tsubasa has Life Drain and Life Leech) and the only damage dealing Body skills that you get (Nosferatu, which functions exactly as you’d expect, and Naga, which is also the only Wyrmslaying effect that isn’t on Itsuki), and is the only unit who has access to AoE Almighty (the only other Almighty skill being Overload, which has significant utility beyond dealing damage since it alters turn order but can only be found on Elenora and Kiria). On top of that, there a few other Body skills that don’t deal damage but allow Kiria to restore her MP.
To cap off your almighty skills, Elenora also has a Duo Art with Tsubasa that deals Almighty damage, inflicts charm, and fully heals your active party (Dream Catcher), alongside a Special Performance that deals Almighty damage in the process of draining the enemy’s HP and EP and inflicts charm (Horror Hunter Angel).
Cutting to the chase, you cannot perform a session by striking a weakness with Body or Spirit or in general with Almighty attacks because there are no session skills that follow Body-, Spirit-, or Almighty-element attacks. While this is totally justifiable with Almighty skills since their conceit is and always has been to not interact with the flavor of the week weakness gimmick, Body and Spirit skills (namely Flux, Nosferatu, and especially Naga) aren’t designed under the same philosophy and the primary reason to use a Duo Art or a damage-dealing Special Performance is to bypass resistances and initiate (or extend) a session in the first place.
Part of the reason why Body, Spirit, and (especially) Almighty skills don’t have session skills they’d link into is because there just isn’t enough of them to make dedicating a whole session skill slot to them worth it. And then this feeds back into the reasons to not use Flux/Nosferatu/Dream Catcher/etc., which in turn makes there less of a reason to make session skills that-
But what if it didn’t have to be like this? What if I didn’t pad this post out any further?
One of the changes that they’re making for Encore is giving an expanded role to the backup cast (Maiko, B****, and Tiki), who previous were characters with some passive effects that you could unlock that did neat stuff like increase the money you earned from sessions or the individual cap for each item you could carry, but will now be able to participate in sessions. We don’t know how you’ll be able to get these skills (probably side-stories alongside one of their passives) or if they’ll even be customizable to the extent of the main casts’ session portfolio (probably not), BUT! From the like half a second of English footage released right now we do know that they operate differently from other session skills.
We see Maiko use Weapon-Slash to session off of Elenora performing what was probably a bow attack, and then B**** follow that up with Weapon-Cyclone, and then Tiki follow that up with Magic-Fire.
The common thread between their session skills? They’re sessioning based off of the element family and not the sole element, and since B****’s session skill was ‘Cyclone’ and not ‘Wind’ or ‘Elwind’, we can be absolutely certain that it was Str-based and that Tiki’s ‘Magic’ criteria was looking at it being wind element (within the magic element family) and not looking at the stat ‘Magic’.
This is easily the best possible solution for both fitting the backup cast into the session system in a way that’s simple and doesn’t make the party system cumbersome to manage wrt weapon mastery and exp distribution, and also addressing the problem with the session system that I’ve pointed out without needlessly including Megido/Megidolaon/Overload assuming that Tiki will be able to properly identify Spirit, Body, and Almighty as Magic.
Also I guess I kinda didn’t really explain why this is a problem if, with the exception of turning Dream Catcher into a session-ender that doesn’t output enough damage (or healing) to justify cutting a session off so soon, it’s just freeing up skill slots to use for things you’d actually use.
I mentioned that Kiria is the only other source of a wyrmslaying effect, right?
It isn’t really a concern until you get to ng+ but the extra boss (and probably the final boss on lunatic, which is also requires you to do a second cycle) does a ton of stupid stuff which will ABSOLUTELY be the subject of a post for another day and having a second way to initiate a session off of it that ignores its constantly rotating reflect-level elemental resistances would make it. Significantly Less Stupid. and immediately make it feel like a good final challenge the game throws at you and not just an exercise in masochism rivaled only by the unlock requirements for said boss
#megaten#tmsfe#sharpfe#Tokyo mirage sessions fe#fire emblem#thinking about the wordcount for this makes me wanna smash my head against a window#long post

Isaiah 41:17-43:13, Ephesians 2:1-22, Psalms 67:1-7, Proverbs 23:29-35
Today is the 23rd day of September. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is a joy and an honor to be here with you today as we take the next step forward in our or on our adventure this year through the Scriptures. So, we’ve been working our way through the book of Isaiah and we are definitely in the back half of that book. And we are in the New Testament reading through the letter to the Ephesians, which contains some pretty earthmoving things, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We’re reading from the Voice Translation this week. Isaiah chapter 41 verse 17 through 43 verse 13 today.
Commentary:
Okay. So, I have traveled a lot in my lifetime. I've been lots of places all around the world and I've been some places in the world that are…that are so spectacular it's hard to believe like…like the Isle of Skye in Scotland or Rocky Mountain National Park here in the United States, places that you can…like you’re driving and or your hiking but like around every corner is something even better than before…like it just keeps revealing itself to the point that you're in such beauty that you’re…you’re like…you’re like in a postcard, right? You’re like in the painting. It’s so magnificent that you almost just can’t take it all in. And this is what the letter to the Ephesians will read like if we’ll let it because it's gonna let us see why the gospel actually is such good news. Like, we call it that all the time, it's just part of our subcultures. It’s the good news about Jesus, it’s the good news, it’s the story that God came to rescue mankind through Jesus, but the implications of what that means. Like…like we have that down but what does that mean? What does that do? What changes? Ephesians is one of these stops along the way as we take this travel through the Bible this year that lays that out in such a way that you’re looking at it and it's like, “this is…this is more than good news…this is like too good.” Like, if this is all true, then this changes everything. So, Ephesians just lets us climb and we get these vistas and we’re in one of those beautiful places on earth that we’re looking at it and it’s like, “the color of that water can't be real. The height of that peak…like how is this?” And you’re struck dumb basically because what are you gonna say? “That's beautiful.” Like it's more than beautiful. It’s like your heart cries out in worship at the glory of what God has created and we came to one of those kind of vistas in our faith today. So, Paul says, “it's by God's grace that you have been saved. You received it through faith. It was not our plan or effort. It is God's gift, pure and simple. You didn't earn it. Not one of us did. So, don't go around bragging that you must've done something amazing for we are the product of His hand, heavens poetry etched on lives created in the Anointed, Jesus, to accomplish the good works God arranged long ago.” So, I read that. It's a pretty common…pretty…it's Ephesians 2:8-10. It’s…like many people have it memorized…like its famous. So, it's foundational and we can just move right on by. But have you ever actually stopped, like not driving around that been but actually pulled over to look out across the valley. Have you ever contemplated the vastness of what Paul is saying here? This is way, way, way more than distilling this down into a theological concept. If this is true, then our salvation is not something that has anything to do with our good behavior and there is no way we could earn it with our good behavior anyway. It's a gift. It can only be received, and it can only be received faith, which means actually like really deeply authentically believing that it is true. And it is…it's a paradigm shifter. We didn’t choose God. God came for us personally. He drew near and when he did, we sensed it, that one moment, that one moment it all came clear. Like we were just looking out over this vastness, this beauty, and we saw it and it was too good to be true and we reached out and when God reached back it was with a gift, a gift of salvation that cannot be taken. Like, we can…we can reject it. We can throw it away, but it can't be stolen from us. And since it's not something that can be earned then we have nothing to brag about. Like, we didn't earn it. Nobody can brag about it. It's a humbling gift. We’re lucky to be here. And, so, becoming aware of that should just…it should change things. We should be in awe. We do not deserve, we have not earned, and we cannot earn this kind of kindness. And what kind of kindness are we even talking about, that God knows who you are, and He came for you. Like, that…that's almost too good to be true, the Creator of all things seen and unseen, known and unknown knows you because you are a creation and He came for you. It's like one of those vistas where, the more you look, the more you’re like, “this is surreal. This is unbelievable. I don’t every wanna leave this place. It's too perfect. Like this is how it's supposed to be.” But the more that we drink in, like when we sit in those beautiful places, the more that we do sit there, the more it reveals itself, the more we see. And in terms of what Paul is showing us spiritually, the more that we see the more that our lives are given context. And, so, from here we can see that our lives are supposed to be much more than we’re usually filling them with. Like, we’re made as masterpieces of God. Like let that just sink in. You feel like a masterpiece? Right? Like, do you feel like God's masterpiece or do you feel like you're anything but God's masterpiece? Because it doesn't matter how you feel. The reality is the reality. So, if it feels too good to be true and if it feels like it couldn’t be speaking of you, then you just need to keep lookin’ here. You need to think again because Paul said we were created anew, which means that God made us new again or that God renewed us and He did this so that we could accomplish the good things He planned long ago for us so. So, we can either read stuff like that go, “okay, here's…here's my invitation to get work. I gotta be good.” That’s not the whole story. Our good behavior does not earn the gift. The gift is a gift. He didn't offer us a free gift and then force us to earn it. It's that our good works, our good behavior, our living into a righteous life becomes an automatic overflow of being in love with Jesus because of this gift that we did not deserve and cannot earn. We won the lottery as it were, the cosmic one, eternal life. And God planned this for us long ago. So, let's just sit here with it today. Let’s just gaze out upon the beauty of what's being described for us spiritually. God knows who we are. We’re supposed to be here. We’re supposed to be here enjoying His presence. We’re supposed to be here inviting others to experience this free gift that changes everything. And if the gospel is true, and I believe that it is, then this is how we’re supposed to be looking at ourselves. And this is how we’re supposed to be looking at the world.
Prayer:
Father, we sit here with this. We know that there's more…like…we’re on this trail through Ephesians. So, we’re climbing upward and looking out at all of these grand vistas. But as we sit here at this parking spot we want to contemplate this today. No matter what we do, we can't earn what You are offering us, which means You loved us when we were Your enemies, You love us when we are the betrayer. Like it's too good. Your love is so vastly beyond anything that we can…like when we try to imitate You and we think we’re doing good we haven't even scratched the surface of the depths of Your love for us. And You have bestowed upon us. This is magnificent, that we are intentionally created as a masterpiece. This is magnificent. And, so, we see that we’re not living in the glory that You have bestowed upon us. We’re living less and we’re sitting here looking at this reveal itself when we’re saying that there is so much more. So, come Holy Spirit as we sit with this today. Plant it deep within our hearts and lives changing the way that we look at ourselves, being humbled by Your generosity, and may this change the way we that we look at our brothers and sisters of the human race, everyone that we interact with today. Come Jesus. We pray in Your mighty name. Amen.

It's ideal to write an email catered to a specific brand or store, instead of a generic one that you send to all stores.
If you say to a brand that you like the look of their products, then they may send you a few samples to try at no cost.
Of course, this doesn't necessarily work, but it's certainly worth a try because occasionally it will work and a corporation will send you free stuff!
37. Ask at your Doctor's Office Talking to your physician at the physician's office may be a fantastic way to get some free samples, especially formula or vitamins, such as.
Explain to your physician or pediatrician that you're wanting to try out some new goods and that you were wondering whether they had some samples available.
Occasionally they'll have samples readily available, as representatives often provide samples to doctors to hand out to patients.
It's always worth mentioning.
38. Another place to acquire samples is in the hospital. In case you haven't given birth yet, when you've delivered the infant and therefore are in the clinic, ask a medical practitioner if they have any diaper samples or any other baby samples you could attempt.
39. Alright, so filling out a form, using codes or enrolling up to rewards programs and clubs are all great ways to save on baby things. But, it's only one way.
It is also possible to get your hands on free stuff by completing easy tasks.n

Episode Three - “The World’s Smallest Violin, Playing Just For You” - Rebecka

Hey so....guess who we just got out? EMILY. It’s wild because she was so confident and strategic and that made for the perfect blindside. I feel like she was doing well until she thought she had solidified Johnny’s vote, that was a little messy. I hope she isn’t right about us losing challenges now. I think we can do well and hopefully pull through, if anything me and John are pretty solid on either side with Haley or with Johnny/Ryan. Now that Rhone is gone and I literally only know John I’m trying to cling to him a bit just because I feel like he has a stronger social standing. But we shall see!
I cannot believe someone called out Emily for liking our tribe better. I mean I don’t blame her, impala is great. But their tribe was safe last round literally bc they worked with us. Also I’m nervous about this switching tribe thing bc I love my tribe and I really don’t want to lose them hahaha. At least I don’t have to worry about Emily and Bryan later down the road. But Emily did seem like someone I wanted to work with :/ oh well Ok everyone I talk to on this tribe loves it and ned even took it as far as saying he wants all of us at final 6. I’m sorry but like, no Hahahaha. When we merge, I will rely on some of these relationships (ned, Chris and Dane) but I will work with others, I can’t just stick with my start up tribe hahaha
Fatum's tribal went a lot better than expected. Now that Emily's out of the picture, I'm not as concerned about Bryan flipping. What I AM concerned about is the possibility of Fauna and Onion teaming up against us, because if the questions from the last tribal are any indication, it sounds like people aren't too happy about our winning streak. As Storymaster, Chris chose to let everyone decide if they want to mutiny. I think everyone on our tribe is staying, but I imagined a horrible scenario where the entire Onion tribe mutinied to Fauna and the tribes were suddenly 10-6. Please no.
Wow. Tribal went fantastic. I had my formal last night and was completely blackout during tribal council, so I didn't fully wrap my head around what was happening until right now, and THANK GOD IT HAPPENED!! Emily was playing too hard, and not only that, but the five of us were very together on what was happening, which is good for team cohesion. I am going HAM on the next immunity challenge because I do not wanna go back to tribal council, but I know it's bound to happen again. I definitely think the next vote is going to be between Nicole and Haley, in terms of the names being thrown out there, but without a doubt, I am not voting out Haley. I need to bring her rookie-try hard ass to the merge, because I think I've officially found someone who is going to be a bigger target come merge than I would ever be, because I somehow always seem to be that target, and to be quite honest here, I'm fairly confident in making merge now that I've made it through one tribal. I have this very serious goal this round to have an edgic of MOR2. I need to not be under the radar, because obviously a winner is never under the radar, but I really need to be low-key this round. I didn't take any heat in particular last round, but Ryan was a bit confused as to why I was agreeing to vote for him, and the good part is that he was saying he was scared because he didn't wanna expose our relationship, so he can just be saying that, or he can actually mean it. I need to just lay low and really hope we don't go to tribal, and I don't get selected to go a tribal council. I want to quietly look for the idol, by myself, and hope to make progress, while not being super communicative in hopes for the best. I'm playing in a risky reward challenge, and I think I'm not gonna try too hard in the challenge, since it's all about knocking people out of the challenge, unless I get later in the challenge and it's advantageous for me. I don't want to make those moves against anyone, so we'll see what happens since that's an auto target on my back if I play that challenge a bit poorly. We'll see what happens.
A bitch has a confessional, socially im flopping. Which is bad. Because my alliance of me, Brandon and Jake is fucked bc Rebecka or Bran has an idol. But they both hate eachother omg. Rebecka SNAPPED on his ass!
Chris thinking he is slick but then accidentally messaging Bryan about me and Bryan and then deleting it immediately. I see how it is, you’re done :)
Ok me and Bryan are working together without Chris. I don’t know if Chris knows I know. I’m sure he does bc Bryan confronted him (not sure if that was the smartest) but Bryan didn’t specify if he told Chris or if Chris would assume a relationship between me and Bryan. I really thought I could trust Chris but that’s shady that he messaged Bryan (obvs meaning to send it elsewhere) about how he told me and Bryan to not do 13. It makes me want to try 13 anyway. I am hoping he meant it for his confessional chat rather than another castaway. I would hate to feel like the entire tribe is working against me
Also going back to earlier, I’m pissed bran won. He used a movie poster and like 4 edits on photoshop whereas I made my flag from scratch and I only lost by 5 points. I came so close compared to the other submissions and I just worked so hard on it
Ok so I smoothed things over with Chris and with Bryan and I think I can now work with both of them in this idol hunt. I just really want to find it bc I find idols so rarely :( I think since we haven’t been in trouble yet, paranoia is just taking over some of this tribe. I want to believe that Chris was just telling his confessional chat and that he lied to Bryan about working with me to maximize his chances of finding the idol. It’s a great plan, I don’t blame him for it. But a small part of me worries he is working with someone else on the tribe against me and Bryan. I know it wouldn’t be ned. The more we talk, the more we have in common. I really see us going far together. I haven’t spoken to autumn since day 1 in one world so it could very well likely be her or even Dane. Just bc he’s on so infrequently and he doesn’t say much when he is online. But a majority part of me is saying that Chris meant to make it a confessional.
this game is lame, i trust no one on my tribe, i trust no one on the other tribes.
Bran can't submit even 1 item for the scavenger hunt but can somehow show up to win the reward challenge AS WELL AS argue with me that they should be team captain? oh im so sorry that i dont want you to be the captain. in fact, here's the world's smallest violin, playing JUST for you, bran. Sometimes i think I should've mutiny-ed but I dont think i'd be any better off. I don't fully trust brandon after the whole let's blindside rhone and make him first boot like what the actual fuck who thought that was a good idea our tribe sucks but at least brandon will talk to me even if its not game related? idk everything is lame im lame i give up bye !!!!
Alright so a lot has happened. Ned found half of an idol so I HOPE we’re able to find this other half after immunity results. Autumn, Ned, Dane, and myself have officially formed our 4some. I fucked up by making Bryan something NOT meant for him. I basically said I was using Sam and Bryan. I think I recovered with Sam but Bryan definitely doesn’t trust me. Regardless we can split votes 2-2-2 if needed. My tribe volunteered me to compete in the challenge... That was NOT the plan. I do not want to be the guy everyone looks to for challenges because then I become Joe Anglim. And I don’t want to be Joe Anglim. But I beat Johnny so I’m safe. I hope I beat BDC cause if so, Johnny is taking me to his tribe to vote with him at tribal. This’ll be my Opportunity to gain some trust with them for the inevitable swap.
I'm so broken apart by what happened this round. I honestly love playing, since it's going to be the most survivor-like experience I can possibly get, and I love getting to know people and play the game and be a power player, but I can't do that if I'm getting voted out third. So to start why I'm so upset, let's rewind to last night. I decided to volunteer to compete in the immunity challenge for my tribe. I know I'm a pretty decent competitor, and I really really thought I had a chance at winning immunity this round, but that clearly isn't what happened. I am fairly confident in my challenge skills, but once I'm ready to compete, Owen tells me that we'll be competing in a logic puzzle..................... For anyone who doesn't know, logic puzzles are absolutely the worst thing to ever happen to me ever, I literally take nine hours to do the simple ones, so this was just death. I actually really honed in on the challenge, but couldn't come out with a W. I was prepared for me, as the losing captain, to choose someone from the winning tribe to win to bring to tribal with me, and I was going to pick Jake, but OF COURSE the twists keep changing every round, which is getting more and more annoying to deal with, but I'm rolling with it. The decision was this: On 12/18/17, at 6:47 PM, Owen (Crossroads Host) wrote: > This round, your tribe is going back to tribal. However, only three of the five of you will be eligible to WALK THE PLANK. Because you failed as a captain, you are automatically one of the three eligible. The winning captain has selected Ryan to join you. Between John, Haley, and Nicole you must select the third person to face elimination with you. Only the three of you will be able to get votes. It will not be revealed which person the winner picked and which person you chose. It is your own decision as a captain. SOOOOOOOOOOO Now Ryan and I are forced to be the two votes, and i'm basically forced to single handedly choose, before everyone else finds out, who I'm voting for this round, because I'm clearly not voting for Ryan this round since i trust him. My thought process was that I was either going to have to choose between the "stoners" (john haley ryan me) or the vets on our tribe, which is Nicole Ryan Haley me, and I basically chose the stoners to side with since I don't have an alliance chat with the vets, and I didn't want shit blowing up if I chose Haley. The biggest reason John was off the table was because the names going around last round were everyone except him and I, so I just wanted as many people to potentially get voted for to be up for eviction with me.
As for what I'm thinking for this vote.... i'm tripping out a little bit now that it's been announced. I told Nicole that I am the reason she's up to be voted out, because i wanted to be transparent. I figured lying about it doesn't really help the situation this round. When it comes down to who I'm voting for. I'm locking in Nicole because i can't vote for Ryan. I know that Ryan and Haley are never going to vote for me, and I'm hoping John wouldn't vote for me, but now I'm hearing a few other things that are making me a bit disappointed with him, where John wants to keep Nicole, but says he won't vote for Ryan or I. This is all according to Haley. I think I'm going to have a knot in my stomach until tribal council happens, and I'm tip toeing on the idea of telling Haley I have a half of an idol, but I'm thinking that I'll probably find another half very soon, so I'm just trying to hold onto the fact that I can have a completely secret idol, while consistently telling people where to search, and me knowing that I can't possibly have found something, when in all reality, I've got a half an idol and I'm being very cautious about it. What some people AREN'T being cautious about is how much they tell Haley. I trust that Haley wants to work with me very well, I'm not questioning that, but I am questioning how smart that girl is. She seems very eager, which is good, but she told me that SHE and NICOLE both have halves of idols to where I'm like WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK OWEN WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU GIVING AWAY THIS MANY HALVES!?!!?? The good thing is that I know where three of them are, and that's because Haley told me. Once Haley knows something, everyone knows. I'm being good at keeping my mouth shut this time around :)
Ok I’m glad we won the challenge. But how imperium stands right now I think if we do go to a vote it will be a 3 to 3 vote with me, Sam and Ned against Chris, autumn, and Dane or 4 to 2 with me, Sam, Ned, and Dane against Chris and autumn.
Okay so I am about to single handedly make a blindside happen at tribal, alongside the help of Haley. I went on call with Haley, and told her I had a half an idol, which wasn't my first choice of things I wanted to do, due to my traumatic idol PTSD from past games, but I took a different route by telling Haley, and I made a pretty ingenious plan to get me into the best position on this tribe as possible. Step 1: Get Haley to give me her other half of the idol. (DONE) Step 2: Tell Haley that it's okay to vote for me at tribal, and that it's going to be 3 votes for me, 2 votes for Nicole (DONE) Step 3: Watch the blindside unfold. Step 4: Do damage control with John. Let Ryan be mad at John and Haley for voting for me, let John have to apologize for voting for me, and me play victim and try to really rebuild the strength of our relationships. And then after that, make sure that John and Ryan are the ones at odds with each other, while me getting John back on my side, and putting me back in the driver's seat. I know that this is going to put an insane target on my back when it gets to later in the game, and I'm going to be the guy who had a good idol play in the third round, and I'm going to be the guy that's like "he found the idol once, he can probably find one again" so I'm going to have to be real tricky with getting to merge, because I think the target is going to be on my back a lot more now than it would have ever been this early in the game, but I'll just have to throw caution to the wind and really come up with some shit and hope for the best. I did not want to have to play this hard this early, but it's happening :/ I need a swap soon. I would LOVE for us to go to tribal one more time before we swapped, to vote out John, and then Haley, Ryan and I all make it to a swap, to where I need to build some super strong relationships with some people. Haley ratted out John so much to me in the midst of this whole thing, and that Nicole and John are trying to vote for me this round, and John is going to say some snarky shit like "There's only room for one John." I'm torn on when I'm going to use the "throw haley under the bus" card, but I'm not quite there yet. I know it's going to come eventually, because that girl is playing very well very hard and very early in this game, so it'll be too tough to tell. I don't like that this is how this round is happening, but I'm ready for that OTTP5 edgic this round..... Me when I wanted a MOR3 NFVNVKSLDNFJKLVNLJKSDF
So more information coming your way live from Johnny's bed :) So Haley also tells me that Nicole is negotiating Haley's vote for the half of an idol that Nicole has, so now the plan is for Nicole to give Haley the half an idol before tribal, and then I'm going to be idoling out Nicole at tribal, while Haley has the half an idol in her pocket, which means we're back to Haley having a half, and all we have to do is find one more half, and we're golden. This is a very productive round for my game. If only this was a merge tribal council this was happening at, I'd be making a winning move here, but it's cool. I'll just hope for Owen to continue to throw twists my way that can hopefully get me out of these snake holes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So it's been a lot more calm now that we won the last two challenge which is nice although there was some drama picking team captain, I thought Rebecka was getting close with Bran but them fighting over Bran being captain or not showed that Rebecka isn't with him.
And I'm kinda worried about her cus I know Julia and her have some kind of connection now, I also think she's doing anything she can to get back into good graces. Like when I said I was doing my final project yesterday she PMd me saying that I could do it and she believed in me and shit which is nice and myabe that's her being genuine but she wasn't that talkative until she realized she was on the bottom so hmmm I feel like she might just be trying to get me to trust her now. But hunny I don't buy it, you're a threat. I don't trust you and if we ever swapped tribes and it was just you and me on a new tribe I already know you'd try to get my ass out. So i'ma strike first. Idk if we're gonna tribe swap next round or not but if we don't and we lose the challenge I am pushing hard for Rebecka to go. She is a threat to me and her torch needs to be snuffed.
Things are finally getting wild. I brought together my two alliances to form the Kids Next Door, an alliance consisting of Chris, Autumn, Dane, and myself. I've also been forming better relationships with Sam and Bryan, because it's looking pretty likely that we'll end up swapping soon- and I genuinely like them both. Like, if we ended up as the final 6, I'd be incredibly happy. Chris also screwed up and sent Bryan a message that was meant for Autumn and me, and Bryan went and told me about it- so I'm hoping he trusts me enough to give me information in case we ever lose. The only person I haven't talked strategy with is Sam, so it feels like we're both walking on thin ice trying to avoid mentioning the elephant in the room: that she betrayed me once, and we'd LIKE to work together, but we don't know if it's possible to completely trust one another given our history. Also, my pockets are overflowing with little knickknacks that I can't really do anything with. https://78.media.tumblr.com/ea49454532a394d02c4f61d90a7c7362/tumblr_nhrjgwdRhp1u4mldxo1_400.gif So far, in the Storybook, I've found a challenge advantage, half a Hidden Immunity Idol, and a coin that might possibly one day do something if I'm lucky. I'm hoping I get to stick around to see all these things pay off. In the meantime, only Johnny, Ryan, and Nicole are eligible to be voted off, and I'm really hoping Nicole goes home. If Johnny goes home I might cry.
BDC is a real asshole to pick me over Haley and John. I know he doesn’t like me , I wish he wasn’t so fucking fake
Our tribe has alliances within alliance and it's starting to unfold. Our tribe is a mess and very sloppy you never know where people heads are at you get told one thing one minute and next it's a whole new thing. Hopefully the people who I trust which is Ryan, john and Johnny all stick with the original plan tonight and vote Nicole .
Ok so there's officially two alliances within Imperium- one with Dane and one without him lol. Ned, Chris, and I are the closest so we're Mystery Inc since I said our tribe feels a lot like Scooby Doo. We believe the three of us are Fred, Shaggy, and Daphne while Dane, Sam, and Bryan are Scooby, Velma, and Scrappy. Honestly I can't unsee it and that alliance could highkey go all the way because no one really picks up on it. The one with Dane is Kids Next Door based off of Codename Kids Next Door haha; Ned is No. 1, Dane is No. 3, Chris is No. 4, and I'm No. 5 (we've given Owen No. 2 lmao). Both alliances are solid and I feel really good about that so no complaints! Imperium talks all day every day so I really don't even want us to go to tribal. We're very 60's and all about peace, love, and good vibes. Yes we have a suballiance and I know Vietnam is coming but so far we don't really have any major problems or issues to work out. I think Sam and Bryan are too dangerous to make merge but we're lowkey a family now so I'm slightly torn. THERE BETTER NOT BE A TRIBE SWAP OR ELSE ILL FIGHT KNOW THAT
So like this tribe is so sketchy. Like bitch if you are gonna be so sketchy get a sketchbook smh. Anyways, so like I only trust Brandon on this tribe. Fuck the rest of these hoes. I can sniff out the BS. So Brandon and I are pretty positive that Bran got an Idol. And we are also pretty posititve Bran is throwing the challenges because he has an idol, and wants to play it. Which puts anyone at risk in this tribe. Like shit! I ain't got time 4 it. And ALSO Rebecka and Jake. Don't even get me started. I used to make alliances and close friendships of mine very obvious on accident, and they are no different. Like bitch OBVIOUSLY you are messing around. And that is VERY DANGEROUS. Because it outs the Brandon /Jake/Julia allaince, and makes Jake safe, and screws Brandon and I. UgHHH. I am really hoping for a goddamn swap ngl.
https://youtu.be/Nf6Gt2hLBHI
I'm so annoyed, but if this works, it may be one of the biggest early moves I've ever made. First off.... the confessional from earlier. It was a genius idea, but of course our tribe's village idiot fucks it up yet again (dull) So OF COURSE (surprise surprise) Haley tells Ryan about the idol, which means that our cover is blown, Ryan is mad I didn't tell him, and now Haley is "telling" me she is 100% voting for Nicole. I don't trust Haley for shit, so I run to John because I've just gotta get him 100% on my side to make sure that he is going to be voting to keep me, and he knows that he can use me in the future, and that even though he loves Nicole, he's gotta trust me. I tell John that Haley gave me her half of the idol, and that I've got the whole thing. I told John that if he doesn't tell anyone that he knows about my idol, it gives us a lot of wiggle room and we can figure out how Haley is going to use her knowing about my idol to her advantage, and we can just out her more as a snake than she has been for the first three rounds of this game. John also told me that Nicole gave her half of the idol to John, since she is so confident she is being voted out, so now Haley has nothing (thank the lord), i've got a full one, and John has a half, which can turn into a whole very very soon since apparently these things are dumb easy to find. (Note: I told John that if I found another half, I'd give it to him, but there's no way in fucking hell I'm giving up a half an idol, are you fucking kidding me? The only way I'd give it to him is if I had to do something dumb, publicly, to obtain the idol... Then I'd give it to John *eyeroll*) Nicole and John both promised me I'm not being fucked with, and that I'm a good guy and this isn't some master blindside, and if they're correct, then we're going to have four stoners here after tribal council, and our alliance of four is what is going to remain. Here is where I stand right now: 1. I don't trust Haley for shit 2. I need to work on John's trust, and I kinda expect him to tell Ryan about my whole idol, but he knows that Ryan knows and that may get back to me, so he may not tell Ryan 3. Ryan needs to know that I still have utmost trust in him, and that him and I are probably at the center of this tribe right now, because next tribal will probably be between John and Haley going home. 4. Nicole is a saint, does not deserve this if she's getting voted out, but if she has an idol of some kind, and i'm being fucked with, rip Ryan. I'm praying this tribal goes in my favor.

NOTE: I do not have any monthly watches or top picks from January to April, because I started this site in May of this year.
Links To My Monthly Watches (New links will be added soon)
My Monthly Top Picks
May Top Pick
Tokyo Ghoul
Only a few minutes before my 21st birthday I finished this series. Which means that I was an emotional wreck crying out ‘he knew!!’ while also being super excited to go out and buy my first drink; a Bloody Mary, approximately 17 minutes after officially being 21. Anyway, Tokyo Ghoul is so good. I loved it because it did not follow the path I expected it to, every event and conclusion ended up surprising me but in a good way! Without spoiling too much or going into a full review, the main character never became a ‘Mary Sue’ and the way it ended was not typical in the least. I have so many things to say but they all contain spoilers, anyway I’m glad I wasn’t deterred from the anime because one of my friends said he didn’t like the manga because of his assumption about the character. Dude, you were way off, I haven’t read the manga, but the anime is so different and so amazing. 5 out of 5 would recommend!
June Top Pick
Blue Exorcist Movie
The movie has nothing to do with the plot of the anime at all, and takes place after the events in the series. Atleast I’m fairly certain it does? There’s an important (and spoiler-y) thing that happens at the end of the series, that is never addressed or acknowledged in the movie which I think is really weird….. Either way, the movie itself is simply a completely stand alone story from the series. And it was absolutely stunning! Sooooo much detail went into all of the backgrounds and items. On top of that its very well scripted, and the plot flowed incredibly well together without being convoluted, which is surprising since a number of movie sequels to tv series’s tend to go overboard by stuffing too much information into an hour and a half.
It was amazing. Its possible that someone could watch the movie without watching the single season anime, just because of how it was written. However you would not know the relationships or the back story of the main character, which helps to explain a lot of the terminology and setting. Especially the part about demons ect ect.
Either way, I LOVED this movie. I didn’t even know that there was a movie at all until just now. I’m going to re-watch it with a friend when she gets back into town and I am soooooo excited because I KNOW she will love it too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I RECOMMEND THIS SO HARD.
July Top Pick
Haikyuu!!
I have boarded the sports anime train, and I don't think I'm ever getting off. This is the fifth sports anime I'm watching and I think it may be my favourite. It's funny too because I only recently started watching sports anime when I watched Free! last December.
This anime is fabulous! I know I say that a lot, but it is so true! Haikyuu!! is about Hinata who joins his high school Volley ball team. The rest of the show is about the developing relationships between the team, the development of their characters and skills, and their relationships between the teams they play against as they try to make it to the Nationals.
I love so much about this anime, every character is different, has their own reasons for playing, their own personalities, their own skills, and their own developmental journey. The characters are amazing!! On top of all that the animation is great, they animate the games incredibly well, and whenever someone does something that's particularly fast or strong they do a fabulous job of showing it through the art style and movements. Ah, I could watch this show for days, well, more days than I already have. (Click the image to view the gif, cause for some reason it won't automatically play...)
Look at the smooth animation!!
Speaking of the art style, It's different than whats common in anime, feeling a little more like a manga, but that's what makes it so great. The style allows them to make fabulous faces/expressions and movements. and Oh man the faces are great, I LOVE an anime that's able to use such a variety of expressions on so many different characters. Look at these faces!
Its such a feel good anime, its so light-hearted, and bright, and funny, and intense! There are only two season out right now, but the third season is to air this fall! I'm so excited!! so, So, SO excited!!! AAAHHHHHH~
This is a must watch. It doesn't matter what genre of anime you like, everyone should give this one a chance.
August Top Pick
Hyouka
So the first thing i need to mention is that this show is first and foremost a slcie of life that happens to include a lot of mystery. Not a mystery that happens to be a slice of life. I originally thought it was the latter which was why I was disappointed that it didn't end the series with a mystery arc, but instead the way a slice of life would. When you acknowledge the show for what it really is, a natural slice of life, it is amazing. For numerous reasons.
First the artwork is so incredibly detailed and beautiful. Second the visuals are distinctly different for each thing ti tries to convey, and completely succeeds in doing so. The audio is amazing, the music is beautiful, the animation is so smooth and they even animate things that aren't necessary to the plot but are animated anyway to make it all feel so REAL. Not to mention the episodes and mysteries are so well written!
look at the incredible amount of detail they put into EVERY SINGLE SCENE.
even when the background is blurred even people who we never learn about or see again have details in their clothes, faces, and expressions. I checked, we NEVER see these people below actually interact with the main OR minor cast.
I almost forgot, this show is about Houtarou a high schooler that sees the world in 'gray'and whose motto is "If I don't have to do it, I won't. If I have to do it, I'll make it quick." Convinced by his already graduated sister, he joins the classics club which was endangered to be disbanded because there were no more members. He meets a girl named Eru who also joins the club and discovers that he has a knack for solving mysteries. That is, only when Eru earnestly goes to him and yearns for him to solve the mystery because her curiosity cannot be contained. From there they quickly discover that the classics club has a past shrouded in mystery.
Its incredibly well done, I love slow the pacing myself, because it fits the flow and nature of the anime. However I do have a number of issues with it myself (some reveal content spoilers so I won't state those here). I admit that the way they ordered large mystery arch and single episode mysteries was not handled well at the very end. Don't get me wrong the ending fit the characters incredibly well and was very good and realistic, however considering the quality of the larger mysteries that were prevalent through the rest of the anime, I feel that they should have ended the series with a multi-episode arc and then one final single episode arc, rather than many single episode arcs strung together. The anime was an adaptation of a light novel, which covered 4 out of the 5 published novels. I've taken a look at the titles of the chapters and it seems that the 5th book is quite the elaborate story. One I would have liked to have seen in the anime, though would clearly have gone over the 22 episodes the anime ended at. Perhaps since this write up for the episode is already so long, I will create a post just about this anime. It definitely deserves more talking about!
Anyway, I do recommend it to veteran-ed anime watchers. It has a wonderful pace that does not push by quickly, great character development and insight, and fascinating mysteries and dialogue regarding such. Its perfect for anyone who loves natural slice of life. Those who enjoy mysteries would also enjoy this, as long as they understand that it is mostly a slice of life, and thus will follow the format of slice of life and not the format of a mystery anime. Its a stunning anime.
September Top Pick
Natsume's Book of Friends
This is an incredibly adorable show. Its heartwarming and has a 'feel good' movie feel to it. If anything taking into account the art style and how good it makes you feel it reminds me a lot of Fruits Basket. Don't get me wrong, its nothing like Fruits Basket in terms of story, but its got the same 'feel'.... if that makes sense.
Anyway, the premise is that Natsume is the only one able to see yokai (Japanese monsters/spirits/gods). After moving into a new town with some distant relatives, Natsume finds out that is deceased grandmother could also see yokai and made quite the reputation among them. She would take the names of local yokai and put it into a book called the book of friends, with their names she could control the yokai. Now yokai are coming after Natsume either to ask him to return their names or to take the book of friends for themselves.
The majority of the show is about Natsume steadily coming to understand both humans and yokai more clearly than he has before. Making friends, learning about the lives of others, learning about his grandmother, and finding out what it really means to be apart of a family and not be ostracized by others because of his ability.
This show is wonderful, its not as gripping or super emotion/action driven as some other shows are, but its very well done. The character are great, the stories are so heartwarming, and it breaks a number of the stereotypical cliches that are often found with anime about a character who can see something that others cannot. An example that I particularly love is how other characters who come into the mix who are also able to see yokai are not automatically 'evil' or an antagonist. So rather than causing mroe trouble for Natsume from the 'get go' they are actually there to help develop him into a better character. Which I love~ Any actual antagonist that shows up are antagonists for a real reason, rather than just for the purpose of having one.
If your into exorcism anime or anime that focuses on traditional Japanese monsters/spirits/gods you will love this one. It is slower paced and focuses more on story than action so keep that in mind. Also keep in mind that there are only 4 season out right now as of this post. Season 5 will be coming out with this falls simulcasts and I'm super excited for it

300+ TOP QTP Interview Questions and Answers
QTP Interview Questions for freshers and experienced :-
1. What Is Qtp? Quick Test is a graphical interface record-playback automation tool. It is able to work with any web, java or windows client application. Quick Test enables you to test standard web objects and ActiveX controls. In addition to these environments, Quick Test Professional also enables you to test Java applets and applications and multimedia objects on Applications as well as standard Windows applications, Visual Basic 6 applications and.NET framework applications. 2. How Does Qtp Recognize Objects In Aut? Quick Test stores the definitions for application objects in a file called the Object Repository. As you record your test, Quick Test will add an entry for each item you interact with. Each Object Repository entry will be identified by a logical name (determined automatically by Quick Test), and will contain a set of properties (type, name, etc) that uniquely identify each object. Each line in the Quick Test script will contain a reference to the object that you interacted with, a call to the appropriate method (set, click, check) and any parameters for that method (such as the value for a call to the set method). The references to objects in the script will all be identified by the logical name, rather than any physical, descriptive properties. 3. Explain The Check Points In Qtp? A checkpoint verifies that expected information is displayed in an Application while the test is running. You can add eight types of checkpoints to your test for standard web objects using QTP. A page checkpoint checks the characteristics of an Application. A text checkpoint checks that a text string is displayed in the appropriate place on an Application. An object checkpoint (Standard) checks the values of an object on an Application. An image checkpoint checks the values of an image on an Application. A table checkpoint checks information within a table on a Application. An Accessibility checkpoint checks the web page for Section 508 compliance. An XML checkpoint checks the contents of individual XML data files or XML documents that are part of your Web application. A database checkpoint checks the contents of databases accessed by your website. 4. How Does Qtp Identify Objects In The Application? QTP identifies the object in the application by Logical Name and Class. 5. What Is Test Object Model In Qtp? The test object model is a large set of object types or classes that Quick Test uses to represent the objects in your application. Each test object class has a list of properties that can uniquely identify objects of that class and a set of relevant methods that Quick Test can record for it. A test object is an object that Quick Test creates in the test or component to represent the actual object in your application. Quick Test stores information about the object that will help it identifies and checks the object during the run session. 6. What Is The File Extension Of The Code File & Object Repository File In Qtp? Code file extension is.vbs and object repository is.tsr 7. Explain In Brief About The Qtp Automation Object Model. Essentially all configuration and run functionality provided via the Quick Test interface is in some way represented in the Quick Test automation object model via objects, methods, and properties. Although a one-on-one comparison cannot always be made, most dialog boxes in Quick Test have a corresponding automation object, most options in dialog boxes can be set and/or retrieved using the corresponding object property, and most menu commands and other operations have corresponding automation methods. You can use the objects, methods, and properties exposed by the Quick Test automation object model, along with standard programming elements such as loops and conditional statements to design your program. 8. What Is The Default Add-ins In Qtp? ActiveX, Visual Basic, Web, Multimedia 9. Is Qtp Supports Uni-code? Yes. UNI-CODE is a 16-bit machine understandable language. 10. How You Are Developing The Script? Using Record And Play Back Or Manual? Both. Developing the Script depends on the Test Scenario.
QTP Interview Questions 11. How Many Types Of Recording Modes Are There? Three modes. They are Normal, Analog, and Low-level 12. What Is The Difference Between Analog And Low Level Recording? Analog recording will record the Mouse & Keyboard movements with respect to the Window or Application co-ordinates. Whereas low-level recording will record the all the objects in the Application whether or not Quick Test recognizes them. 13. Where We Can Use The Analog Mode And Where We Can Use The Low - Level Mode? Analog Mode is used for Signatures. How To Handle The Exceptions Using Recovery Scenario Manager In Qtp? There are 4 trigger events during which a recovery scenario should be activated. A pop up window appears in an opened application during the test run: A property of an object changes its state or value, A step in the test does not run successfully, An open application fails during the test run, These triggers are considered as exceptions. You can instruct QTP to recover unexpected events or errors that occurred in your testing environment during test run. Recovery scenario manager provides a wizard that guides you through the defining recovery scenario. Recovery scenario has three steps: 1. Triggered Events 2. Recovery steps 3. Post Recovery Test-Run 88. What Is The Use Of Text Output Value In Qtp? Output values enable to view the values that the application talks during run time. When parameterized, the values change for each iteration. Thus by creating output values, we can capture the values that the application takes for each run and output them to the data table. 89. How To Use The Object Spy In Qtp 8.0 Version? There are two ways to Spy the objects in QTP: 1) through file toolbar, In the File Toolbar click on the last toolbar button (an icon showing a person with hat). 2) True Object repository Dialog, In Object repository dialog click on the button object spy. In the Object spy Dialog click on the button showing hand symbol. The pointer now changes in to a hand symbol and we have to point out the object to spy the state of the object if at all the object is not visible. or window is minimized then, hold the Ctrl button and activate the required window to and release the Ctrl button. 90. How Does Run Time Data (parameterization) Is Handled In Qtp? You can then enter test data into the Data Table, an integrated spreadsheet with the full functionality of Excel, to manipulate data sets and create multiple test iterations, without programming, to expand test case coverage. Data can be typed in or imported from databases, spreadsheets, or text files. 91. Explain About The Test Fusion Report Of Qtp? Once a tester has run a test, a Test Fusion report displays all aspects of the test run: a high-level results overview, an expandable Tree View of the test specifying exactly where application failures occurred, the test data used, application screen shots for every step that highlight any discrepancies, and detailed explanations of each checkpoint pass and failure. By combining Test Fusion reports with Quick Test Professional, you can share reports across an entire QA and development team. 92. Which Environments Does Qtp Support? Quick Test Professional supports functional testing of all enterprise environments, including Windows, Web,..NET, Java/J2EE, SAP, Siebel, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Visual Basic, ActiveX, mainframe terminal emulators, and Web services. 93. Explain Qtp Testing Process? Quick Test testing process consists of 6 main phases: 1. Create your test plan – Prior to automating there should be a detailed description of the test including the exact steps to follow, data to be input, and all items to be verified by the test. The verification information should include both data validations and existence or state verifications of objects in the application. 2. Recording a session on your application – As you navigate through your application, Quick Test graphically displays each step you perform in the form of a collapsible icon-based test tree. A step is any user action that causes or makes a change in your site, such as clicking a link or image, or entering data in a form. 3. Enhancing your test – Inserting checkpoints into your test lets you search for a specific value of a page, object or text string, which helps you identify whether or not your application is functioning correctly. NOTE: Checkpoints can be added to a test as you record it or after the fact via the Active Screen. It is much easier and faster to add the checkpoints during the recording process. Broadening the scope of your test by replacing fixed values with parameters lets you check how your application performs the same operations with multiple sets of data. Adding logic and conditional statements to your test enables you to add sophisticated checks to your test. 4. Debugging your test – If changes were made to the script, you need to debug it to check that it operates smoothly and without interruption. Running your test on a new version of your application You run a test to check the behavior of your application. While running, Quick Test connects to your application and performs each step in your test. 5. Analyzing the test results – You examine the test results to pinpoint defects in your application. 6. Reporting defects – As you encounter failures in the application when analyzing test results, you will create defect reports in Defect Reporting Tool. 94. Explain The Qtp Tool Interface. It contains the following key elements: Title bar, displaying the name of the currently open test, Menu bar, displaying menus of Quick Test commands, File toolbar, containing buttons to assist you in managing tests, Test toolbar, containing buttons used while creating and maintaining tests, Debug toolbar, containing buttons used while debugging tests. Note: The Debug toolbar is not displayed when you open Quick Test for the first time. You can display the Debug toolbar by choosing View — Toolbars — Debug. Action toolbar, containing buttons and a list of actions, enabling you to view the details of an individual action or the entire test flow. Note: The Action toolbar is not displayed when you open Quick Test for the first time. You can display the Action toolbar by choosing View — Toolbars — Action. If you insert a reusable or external action in a test, the Action toolbar is displayed automatically. Test pane, containing two tabs to view your test-the Tree View and the Expert View ,Test Details pane, containing the Active Screen. Data Table, containing two tabs, Global and Action, to assist you in parameterizing your test. Debug Viewer pane, containing three tabs to assist you in debugging your test-Watch Expressions, Variables, and Command. (The Debug Viewer pane can be opened only when a test run pauses at a breakpoint.) Status bar, displaying the status of the test 95. In How Many Ways We Can Add Check Points To An Application Using Qtp? We can add checkpoints while recording the application or we can add after recording is completed using Active screen. 96. What Is Parameterizing Tests? When you test your application, you may want to check how it performs the same operations with multiple sets of data. For example, suppose you want to check how your application responds to ten separate sets of data. You could record ten separate tests, each with its own set of data. Alternatively, you can create a parameterized test that runs ten times: each time the test runs, it uses a different set of data. 97. What Is The Differences Between Image Check Point And Bit Map Check Point? Image checkpoints enable you to check the properties of a Web image. You can check an area of a Web page or application as a bitmap. While creating a test or component, you specify the area you want to check by selecting an object. You can check an entire object or any area within an object. Quick Test captures the specified object as a bitmap, and inserts a checkpoint in the test or component. You can also choose to save only the selected area of the object with your test or component in order to save disk Space. For example, suppose you have a Web site that can display a map of a city the user specifies. The map has control keys for zooming. You can record the new map that is displayed after one click on the control key that zooms in the map. Using the bitmap checkpoint, you can check that the map zooms in correctly. You can create bitmap checkpoints for all supported testing environments (as long as the appropriate add-ins are loaded). 98. How Many Ways We Can Parameterize Data In Qtp? There are four types of parameters: Test, action or component parameters enable you to use values passed from your test or component, or values from other actions in your test. Data Table parameters enable you to create a data-driven test (or action) that runs several times using the data you supply. In each repetition, or iteration, Quick Test uses a different value from the Data Table. Environment variable parameters enable you to use variable values from other sources during the run session. These may be values you supply, or values that Quick Test generates for you based on conditions and options you choose. Random number parameters enable you to insert random numbers as values in your test or component. For example, to check how your application handles small and large ticket orders, you can have Quick Test generate a random number and insert it in a number of tickets edit field. 99. How Do You Do Batch Testing In Wr & Is It Possible To Do In Qtp, If So Explain? Batch Testing in WR is nothing but running the whole test set by selecting Run Test set from the Execution Grid. The same is possible with QTP also. If our test cases are automated then by selecting Run Test set all the test scripts can be executed. In this process the Scripts get executed one by one by keeping all the remaining scripts in Waiting mode. 100. If I Give Some Thousand Tests To Execute In 2 Days What Do You Do? Adhoc testing is done. It Covers the least basic functionalities to verify that the system is working fine. 101. What Does It Mean When A Check Point Is In Red Color? What Do You Do? A red color indicates failure. Here we analyze the cause for failure whether it is a Script Issue or Environment Issue or a Application issue. 102. Explain The Concept Of Object Repository & How Qtp Recognizes Objects? Object Repository: displays a tree of all objects in the current component or in the current action or entire test (depending on the object repository mode you selected). We can view or modify the test object description of any test object in the repository or to add new objects to the repository. Quicktest learns the default property values and determines in which test object class it fits. If it is not enough it adds assistive properties, one by one to the description until it has compiled the unique description. If no assistive properties are available, then it adds a special Ordinal identifier such as objects location on the page or in the source code. 103. What Are The Properties You Would Use For Identifying A Browser & Page When Using Descriptive Programming? Name would be another property apart from title that we can use. 104. Give Me An Example Where You Have Used A Com Interface In Your Qtp Project? com interface appears in the scenario of front end and back end. for eg:if you are using oracle as back end and front end as VB or any language then for better compatibility we will go for an interface. of which COM will be one among those interfaces. Create object creates handle to the instance of the specified object so that program can use the methods on the specified object. It is used for implementing Automation (as defined by Microsoft). 105. Define Virtual Object? Virtual objects enable you to record and run tests on objects that are not normally recognized by QuickTest. We can teach QuickTest to recognize any area of your application as an object by defining it as a virtual object. Some times QTP may not recognize some objects. In this kind of situations Using New Virtual Object we can convert Custom Objects into standard Objects. 106. How We Can Import Data From Database? we can import data from a database by selecting a query from Microsoft Query or by manually specifying an SQL statement Right-click on the Data Table sheet to which you want to import the data and select Sheet > Import > from Database. Where as come to Copy of Action, you can make changes to the copied action. Changes will not effect the original action where it created. 141. Discuss Qtp Environment. Quick Test Pro environment uses the graphical interface and Active Screen technologies. A testing process for creating test scripts, relating manual test requirements to automated verification features - Data driving to use several sets of data using parameters. 142. Explain The Concept Of How Qtp Identifies Object. During recording QTP looks at the object and stores it as test object. For each test object QTP learns a set of default properties called mandatory properties and look at the rest of the objects to check whether this properties are enough to uniquely identify the same object during test run. 143. Differentiate The Two Object Repository Types Of Qtp. In QTP there are 2 object repositories, Shared Object Repository and Per Action Mode. Default mode is Per-Action. In Shared, we use only one OR that is common to all actions and can share by other testers. It's like calling external libraries. We will use per action OR for a each action exclusively. 144. What The Differences Are And Best Practical Application Of Each. Per Action: For Each Action, one Object Repository is created. Shared: Single Object Repository will be used for all actions. 145. Disadvantages Of Shared Object Repository? It cannot store objects when it reaches maximum Size (2MB). We cannot do changes to an object by tester at the same time. 146. What Is The Difference Between Check Point And Output Value? An output value is a value retrieved during the run session and entered into runtime table or data table subsequently it can be used as input value in your test. Checkpoint ensures the functionality of an object by verifying the state of an object during the runtime. 147. How The Exception Handling Can Be Done Using Qtp? Recovery scenario manager provides a wizard that guides you through the defining recovery scenario. Recovery scenario has four steps 1. Triggered Events 2. Recovery steps 3. Post Recovery 4.Name and Finish 148. How Do You Test Siebel Application Using Qtp? In SWE section we need to add AutomationEnable = TRUE and at the same time you need to use SWECmd= AutoOn in the URL. 149. How Many Types Of Actions Are There In Qtp? QTP structured by actions. Actions are sub procedures which perform certain events on AUT. There are 2 types of actions. Regular actions (non reusable actions) and reusable actions. Regular actions are used only in the script where the action exists. 150. How Many Types Of Recording Modes In Qtp? Describe Each Type With An Example Where We Use Them? There are 3 types of recording modes in QTP, Context Sensitive (normal), Analog Recording mode and Low Level Recording mode. Context Sensitive records the objects in the application and operations performed on them. Analog records all mouse exact mouse and keyboard actions. Low level enables to record on any object. 151. What Is Object Spy In Quicktest Professional (qtp)? Using the Object Spy, you can view the properties of any object in an open application. You use the Object Spy pointer to point to an object. The Object Spy displays the selected objects hierarchy tree and its properties and values in the Properties tab of the Object Spy dialog box. Object Spy is feature provided by QTP which shows the complete object information like list of properties, list of methods, syntax of methods, and description of methods for both test objects as well as runtime and test objects by pointing the object spy pointer on the object. 152. What Are The Features And Benefits Of Quick Test Pro (qtp 8.0)? Operates stand-alone, or integrated into Mercury Business Process Testing and Mercury Quality Center. Introduces next-generation zero-configuration Keyword Driven testing technology in Quick Test Professional 8.0 allowing for fast test creation, easier maintenance, and more powerful data-driving capability. Identifies objects with Unique Smart Object Recognition, even if they change from build to build, enabling reliable unattended script execution. Collapses test documentation and test creation to a single step with Auto-documentation technology. Enables through validation of applications through a full complement of checkpoints. 153. What Is Keyword View And Expert View In Qtp? Expert View: It represents the script in VB script format Keyword View: It represents the script using graphical user interface, which is further divided into four parts. Item Operation Value Documentation 154. How To Suppress Warnings From The Test Results Page? From the Test results Viewer "Tools > Filters > Warnings"...must be "Unchecked". 155. What Is Checkpoints For Quicktest Professional (qtp)? A checkpoint verifies that expected information is displayed in your application while the test is running. 156. How To Add A Standard Checkpoint In Your Test? 1. Start QuickTest and open your test. In the Open Test dialog box, locate and select your test, then click Open. 2. Save the test as Checkpoint. Select File > Save As. Save the test as Checkpoint. 3. Confirm that the Active Screen option is enabled. If you do not see the Active Screen at the bottom of the QuickTest window, click the Active Screen button, or choose View > Active Screen. 4. Locate the page where you want to add a standard checkpoint. 5 Create a standard checkpoint. In the Active Screen, right-click element in your application and choose Insert Standard Checkpoint. 6 Save the test. 157. How To Start Recording Using Quicktest Professional (qtp)? Choose Test > Record or click the Record button. When the Record and Run Settings dialog box opens to do this; 1. In the Web tab, select Open the following browser when a record or run session begins. 2. In the Windows Applications tab, confirm that Record and run on these applications (opened on session start) is selected, and that there are no applications listed. 158. Why Qtp Always Start Action1 And Does Not Start Action? By default QTP runs first action1, but it is possible to run with Action 2 or other by drag and drop action 2 to action1 and then run the action 2. 159. What Is The Use Of Text Output Value In Quicktest Professional (qtp)? Output values enable to view the values that the application takes during run time. When parameterized, the values change for each iteration. Thus by creating output values, we can capture the values that the application takes for each run and output them to the data table. Text output value is future in QTP, this is used for capturing a text value from the application under test, during the run time. Captures the value from the object(object in the sense may from the edit box, combobox) and stores it under a specified column in the run time data table. 160. How To Add A Page Checkpoint To Your Test? The page checkpoint checks that the number of links and images in the page when you run your test is the same as when you recorded your test. 1 Locate the page where you want to add a page checkpoint. 2 Create a page checkpoint. Right-click anywhere in the Active Screen, and choose Insert Standard Checkpoint. The Object Selection - Checkpoint Properties dialog box opens. 3 Save the test. 161. Explain About The Test Fusion Report Of Quicktest Professional (qtp)? Once a tester has run a test, a Test Fusion report displays all aspects of the test run: a high-level results overview, an expandable Tree View of the test specifying exactly where application failures occurred, the test data used, application screen shots for every step that highlight any discrepancies, and detailed explanations of each checkpoint pass and failure. By combining TestFusion reports with QuickTest Professional, you can share reports across an entire QA and development team. 162. How Qtp Recognizes Objects In Aut? QuickTest stores the definitions for application objects in a file called the Object Repository. As you record your test, QuickTest will add an entry for each item you interact with. Each Object Repository entry will be identified by a logical name (determined automatically by QuickTest), and will contain a set of properties (type, name, etc) that uniquely identify each object. Each line in the QuickTest script will contain a reference to the object that you interacted with, a call to the appropriate method (set, click, check) and any parameters for that method (such as the value for a call to the set method). The references to objects in the script will all be identified by the logical name, rather than any physical, descriptive properties. 163. How Many Types Of Parameters Are Available In Quicktest Professional (qtp)? QTP provides three types of Parameter: Method Argument Data Driven Dynamic 164. What Is The Quicktest Professional (qtp) Testing Process? QTP testing process consist of seven steps: Preparing to recoding Recoding Enhancing your script Debugging Run Analyze Report Defects 165. Which Scripting Language Used By Quicktest Professional (qtp)? QTP using VB scripting. 166. How Many Types Of Recording Facility Are Available In Quicktest Professional (qtp)? QTP provides three types of recording methods: Context Recording (Normal) Analog Recording Low Level Recording 167. What Is The Basic Concept Of Quicktest Professional (qtp)? QTP is based on two concept: Recording Playback 168. How To Customize Qtp? QTP Integrated components like DBConnection, Datatable and Reporters can be customized. 169. How Can We Do The Frame Work In Qtp? Frame Work: Smoke Testing - Environmental checkup of the application. Driver - Business functionality Application Business Functionality Execution Verification checker Reporter generation Terminator 170. How Many Number Of Actions Possible In Qtp? There are 3 types of actions available in QTP Reusable non-reusable extern Action 171. What Are The Check Points Can Be Inserted Without Recording? Database & XML 172. How Many Types Of Object Repository In Qtp? There are two types of object repository in qtp LOCAL SHARED 173. What Are The Data Types In Qtp? Variant is the only one data type used in qtp. 174. What Is The New Version Of Qtp Which Is Recently Released In The Market? Currently QTP 9.2 beta version is in the market. 175. What Is The Difference Between Check Point And Output Value. Character Development Questions Hard Mode 1-45 for Infinite?
holy fucking shit
Anon I love you you’re my good bud LET’S DO THIS
I assume you mean SOS Text / Future!Infinite so minor spoilers
1. Does your character have siblings orfamily members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?
He’s not close to his blood relatives, but he has a group of people he works with. They consider themselves a family, and are all physically in their 20s. Out of all of them, he’s arguably the closest to his boss, Hafia. She gets the most nicknames.
2. What is/was your character’srelationship with their mother like?
He’s been told that he loved her very much and would do anything for her.
3. What is/was your character’srelationship with their father like?
He’s been told that he loved him very much and that he learned so much from him.
4. Has your character ever witnessedsomething that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
He’s only like ~20 years into his timeline during SOS Text, so not yet lmao.
(Years down the road, he’ll watch the Observants remove a ghost’s core and vow to do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn’t happen to him- already established events in his timeline be damned)
5. On an average day, what can be foundin your character’s pockets?
well
A shitton of yarn. He doesn’t know where it’s coming from, but lord almighty it’s everywhere.
several rolls of leopard print duct tape.
like, 3 boxes worth of fun-sized snickers
Sharpies in various colours, but quite a few black ones
some cool looking rocks - one’s shaped vaguely like the outline of a cat!
a bag of Honey Nut Cheerios, long since smashed to pieces
business cards with his name written in English, Esperanto, German, Modern Ghost, and Ancient Ghost that proclaim him to be a ‘world-class piece of shit’
paper airplanes, in various stages of completion
the plug and cord from an old toaster (the rest wouldn’t fit)
like, 7 decks of playing cards
Polaroids of his best friend doing stupid shit- ie, that time he got frustrated while trying to build a house of cards and brought out the super glue
ribbons, tied in various knots
a set of lock picks
a hamster ball for his pet mouse Finnegan R. Cheddar
Occasionally, Finnegan R. Cheddar
various attempts to use the yarn to make beanies, all of them bad
a book of card tricks
the ‘Bees?’ card from a Cards Against Humanity game
A plastic egg
Various items he has pickpocketed from people - photos, wallets, keys
packages of hot chocolate with little tiny marshmallows
stupid trinkets he’s made from wire, most of them bad
Polaroids of cute dogs
a list of every Observant name he knows and a shitty nickname for each of them
free-range glitter, which sticks to almost everything (it’s also eatable, mostly)
Various pieces of nicely made bread
a keychain with a volcano on it that ‘erupts’ when you press a button
a cellphone in kind of shitty condition with cool apps and pretty impressive highscore on flappy bird
And finally;
a much, much older iPhone with a severely cracked screen and an adapter that allows it to charge itself with ambient ectoplasm. He doesn’t know the password, and the lockscreen’s background is a giant middle finger.
6. Does your character have recurringthemes in their dreams?
A lot of his dreams involve either fog or a game of tug-of-war. Also bread, but that’s just because he really likes bread lmao
7. Does your character have recurringthemes in their nightmares?
Rejection. He’s terrified of what will happen when nobody wants him anymore.
(Later, he’ll see what the Observants are capable of- and on bad nights he’ll lose his friends and family by their hands over and over again)
8. Has your character ever fired a gun?If so, what was their first target?
Yep, it was an ectogun aimed at a ghost- really, when his story takes place in the world of Danny Phantom, what else would it be?
(Later, he’ll learn to use a real gun, and will hate every second it’s in his hand)
9. Is your character’s currentsocioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up?
Currently, he’s much better off than he was when he was growing up. Which is funny, considering that he’s dead.
10.Does your character feel morecomfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?
More clothing; he LOVES turtlenecks, but has been told that they ‘make him look like an absolute fucking nerd.’
11.In what situation was your characterthe most afraid they’ve ever been?
The first time Infinite entered the human realm, he found himself in a ruined Timeline where he was nearly killed by people who said they knew him. Hafia rescued him, and healed him up, but refused to explain. Infinite had to find answers for himself, and those answers horrified him.
12.In what situation was your characterthe most calm they’ve ever been?
The first time he met the Observants, his family quietly panicked. Infinite, however, offered his right hand for a shake and introduced himself.
He was wearing a hand buzzer.
The Observants automatically started looking for an excuse to murder him.
13.Is your character bothered by thesight of blood? If so, in what way?
His family was worried he would be, but he’s not particularly. He’s wary of it, though; human blood severely burns ghosts like him.
14.Does your character remember names orfaces easier?
Mostly faces, since he has a tendency to give people shitty nicknames.
15.Is your character preoccupied withmoney or material possession? Why or why not?
Not really. Hafia or his honourary sister, Tempest, could easily get him whatever material thing he desired, and they also have a room filled with various currencies from the past ~300 years. material things aren’t really a concern for Infinite.
16.Which does your character idealizemost: happiness or success?
Success. He’s convinced that as long as he can succeed, he’ll be happy. They world just likes to make that difficult for him.
17.What was your character’s favoritetoy as a child?
He’s been told it was a build-a-bear dog dressed a shirt covered with pumpkins.
18.Is your character more likely toadmire wisdom, or ambition in others?
Ambition, definitely. He’s more interested in people who are out there getting what they want; they’re usually more interesting, anyway.
19.What is your character’s biggestrelationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?
It’s a good thing this question says ‘biggest’ because Infinite Hour is SHIT at interacting with people and I could write a short essay on that fact alone.
He likes to test the boundaries; he insults, annoys, and otherwise harasses the people he meets until they snap at him. And he does this constantly, because a lot of people he knows refuse to snap at him. To Infinite, that’s just infuriating- so when he does eventually meet people he can push to their breaking point, well, he likes to have fun with it.
He’s ruined a lot of relationships like this, but for the most part he never saw the people he’d hurt again anyways.
(‘most part,’ I saw, as Clockwork, Pariah, the Observants, and half the cast of SOS Text glare at Infinite from a distance)
20.In what ways does your charactercompare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation,or self-criticism?
At the current point in his timeline, Infinite doesn’t really compare himself to others- the times that he does, it’s accompanied by a scoff and a reference to how he could do it so much better
21.If something tragic or negativehappens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it,or are they quick to blame others?
Most of the time something bad happens, he doesn’t care until it directly effects him. Then, it’s self-blame all the way.
(Later, he’ll get better at not caring, and passing the blame onto other people and even convincing them that he’s innocent. But the little voice in the back of his mind reminding him that he did this will never fully stop)
22.What does your character like inother people?
He likes people who are upfront and truthful, who are strong make an effort to go after their goals. People who don’t just sit by, who speak their mind, have a good sense of humor, and are smart. But mainly, he likes people who like him for who he is, not for what they’re heard.
23.What does your character dislike inother people?
Stupidity, whether that’s people who are stupidly brave or just not as smart as Infinite ‘over complicated is just another word for smart’ Hour. People who suck up and bend over backwards to be accepted by everyone, or who don’t know when to give up or make excuses for their inaction. But most importantly, he dislikes people who act like he’s a big deal- but only because of one story he’s heard, over and over, where’s he painted as a saint and sacrifices himself for a reason that has never once made sense to him.
24.How quick is your character to trustsomeone else?
Depends on the situation and what he knows about him. The first time he met Clockwork, Infinite had heard hundreds of stories about how amazing he was and was practically in love. Clockwork wanted nothing to do with him.
(Later, he’ll bounce across the multiverse, and assume that if he could trust someone in one world he can trust them in the next. He will be wrong, and pay for it.)
25.How quick is your character tosuspect someone else? Does this change if they are close with that person?
If all the signs point to them, he’ll put it together pretty quickly. If experience has shown that they’re not someone he should trust, he’ll be more willing to challenge them about it. Otherwise, and especially if he’s close to them, he’ll keep any suspicions locked away in the back of his mind.
26.How does your character behave aroundchildren?
He doesn’t particularly interact with children, but he finds them amusing. He’ll go along with their games, for the most part. However, if it’s a child version of his family or friends, he puts his best foot forwards. If it’s a child version of his boss (who he’s encountered numerous times), he’ll act like the perfect person and tell her to ‘remember that for later.’
27.How does your character normally dealwith confrontation?
By running the fuck away lmao.
Infinite can fight if he needs to, sure- but if it isn’t something he can handle easily, he is gone.
28.How quick or slow is your characterto resort to physical violence in a confrontation?
If he doesn’t have a choice, he’ll fight, but he normally keeps his distance. He’ll stick to stuff he can shoot or throw, and stall for time until someone else can come up with a plan.
29.What did your character dream ofbeing or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?
He’s been told that he really wanted to be an astronaut. He ended up in space once while teleporting about; it gave him a pretty bad headache and Hafia had to come rescue him.
30.What does your character findrepulsive or disgusting?
Most typically gross things. Anything that came out of a human body, anything decomposing, open wounds (bonus points if someone puts something in it), thing like that.
31.Describe a scenario in which yourcharacter feels most comfortable.
trick question; he’s permanently low-key uncomfortable.
He’s traveling through time, and comes across a group of people. He travels with them, they all playfully annoy each other, they share food and stories, they thwart the Observants or some other group with too much power, and they take him to see something amazing. He takes a picture and later retells the tale to his best friend, who replies with a story from before Infinite died. He hears the story about how his past-self embarrassed himself and smiles, knowing that it sounds exactly like something his current self would do.
32.Describe a scenario in which yourcharacter feels most uncomfortable.
Every moment of his afterlife lmao.
He’s in a heavily populated area, dressed up fancily and his hair is down. One member of his family is always nearby to make sure he behaves. People like him, and they let him know. Constantly. They call him a hero, and talk about every good thing he did before he died. He insults them under his breath, but his family makes sure they don’t hear. The Observants are nearby, waiting for him to make a mistake that they can use. Someone insults his best friend, and he has no choice but to smile and nod.
33.In the face of criticism, is yourcharacter defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?
Defensive. He takes criticism as a personal attack, and gets upset with that.
If it’s criticism about how much of an ass he is, however, he doesn’t care for the most part. He’s enjoying himself, isn’t that what’s really important?
34.Is your character more likely to keeptrying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately moveon to a different solution/method?
He’ll stick to one method until he knows for certain it isn’t working.
35.How does your character behave aroundpeople they like?
With his friends and family, there’s a lot of playful insults and stupid jokes. He makes a lot of puns. He’ll tell stories, give them nicknames, take pictures when they’re not looking, and listen to what they have to stay. He’ll push their boundaries, but will never cross the line.
With random people he happens to meet and be interested by, there’s still a lot of teasing and bad jokes. But he’ll show off his powers and skills, and talk a lot about practically nothing. He’ll play up the parts of himself he thinks they’d like, and toes the line whenever he can to see what’ll make them snap.
36.How does your character behave aroundpeople they dislike?
When around people he dislikes (particularly the Observants) he will let them know. He doesn’t take anything they say or do seriously, and mocks them constantly. He undermines any authority they have, and constantly annoys them in small ways (ie, moving everything of the Observants’ he could get his hands on a couple inches to the left after threatening to move it to the right). He’ll also casually steal from them.
37.Is your character more concerned withdefending their honor, or protecting their status?
Tough call. When you’re bouncing around a world and constantly meeting people you don’t know, status loses it’s meaning. But Infinite’s not super honorable; he’ll try to protect his image, sure, but when the going gets tough he gets going.
He has a reputation of being this insanely powerful and confusing being, though, and he does do his best to keep that in place.
38.Is your character more likely toremove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?
Remove himself lmao. Infinite encounters a serious problem and you’ll have to give him five good reasons why he shouldn’t just peace out.
(‘people you genuinely like are involved but won’t like you if you don’t act’ and ‘according to what we know about this point in time you do this’ are both worth all 5 slots)
39.Has your character ever been bittenby an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)?
He’s been bitten by a dog before, but that didn’t stop him from petting it. In his defense, it was a very fluffy puppy.
40.How does your character treat peoplein service jobs?
He’s perfectly kind to them. If he’s going to be mean to them, he’ll do it because of their personality, not their job. He has standards.
41.Does your character feel that theydeserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do theyfeel they must earn it first?
Oh, he deserves it. He deserves to live, to see the world’s coolest shit, and for people to like him for who he is now. If you say otherwise, he doesn’t like you.
42.Has your character ever had aparental figure who was not related to them?
His family is more or less stuck in the ‘siblings’ zone, and nobody gets more than ‘severe mom friend’ parental.
43.Has your character ever had adependent figure who was not related to them?
Nope. He’d be such a bad influence, could you imagine?
(Later, his family will expand as they take in a pair of teenagers- one of which who has the same powers as him. And he’ll try, he really will, but in the end the others will serve as guardians far better than he ever could)
(But even later, as he travels the multiverse, he’ll find people over and over who look up to him. People who depend on him. People who love him. And he’ll be terrified, but he’ll fight for them)
44.How easy or difficult is it for yourcharacter to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?
what’s this? Infinite ‘constantly fucks with people’ Hour, saying I love you insincerely? Ridiculous. Impossible. He would never.
Infinite isn’t exactly someone who uses the word ‘love’ while talking to other people. If it’s about an object, or a really nice cup of coffee, he’ll tell the world that he loves it. But his friends? His family? He’d only say he loved them if they were about to die, and all he could do was run.
45.What does your character believe willhappen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?
He thinks nothing happens after the death of a ghost, and there isn’t a single thing in the world that terrifies him more than that.
