JEALOUSY (NEWT X ARIS SHORT FIC)

I pulled out the ventilation slot to end up sliding under Newt's bed, like the first day. I tried to make as little noise as possible and whispered:

"Hey, Newt, are you awake?" I muttered under my breath.

Someone was heard moving in the bed and I heard:

No, Aris. "I'm not awake, thank you," she sighed indifferently.

"I'm really sorry about what happened the other day with Teresa, I didn't mean to kiss her," I said embarrassed and looking at the ground, as if I knew Newt was watching me, even though he couldn't. I didn't want to provoke anything against you, I...

Newt interrupted me:

"Listen, Aris," he said as he positioned himself on the bed so that he could stick his head out to see under the bed, "the issue is not the kiss with Teresa, but the indifference that you have been showing me lately, hence my “anger,” said the blonde with apparent anger and staring at me.

"No... I didn't mean to, I wanted to make you jealous... I didn't know what to do," I snorted as a tear slid down my right cheek. I wanted to get your attention, but those words hurt me, I'm so sorry.

“Come a little closer, please,” Newt sighed calmly, but keeping his gaze on me.

I crawled closer to Newt.

"Closer".

I kept crawling until I was just a few inches from his face.

"Tell me you love me, Aris," the young blonde huffed, blowing a little towards my face.

"I... I love you, Newt," I stammered sadly and with teary eyes.

Newt moved a little closer to me and kissed me passionately on the lips. I raised my face a little to make it easier for him to kiss since, since Newt was upside down, it was a little more difficult for him to maintain his balance.

The blonde continued the kiss for a couple of seconds, causing me to feel a comforting sense of excitement, joy and redemption. I really loved Newt.
