THENNN I can imagine her getting finally accepted to a job at a female-run publishing house as a publishing assistant and she’s sooo happy! She tells Steve, and explains how she only has to go in two days a week and the rest is work from home.

Omega gets paranoid that he hates her and will leave her (although not that much, only a little bit bc she’s healing now) so she tells him she’s sorry and she won’t accept the job and she loves her family and loves him and if it makes him that upset, she’ll sacrifice the job to do what he says bc she knows that marriage means you have to sacrifice certain things.

But then STEVE (who has calmed down) feels bad bc he hates how sad she looks and he knows she’s been through so much and how could he really deny her from this happiness? There’s an internal war going on in his head because on one hand, he’s her alpha and his word is law and he shouldn’t be made to feel bad for putting his foot down. Tons of his friends and family keep their omegas under very tight control. He doesn’t want to be seen as lenient! But then he ultimately decides he doesn’t care, and that he wants her to be happy.

So he does a thorough background check on this publishing house, and is secretly pleased that the staff is all women (that’s a big deciding factor in letting her work there). And turns out, it helps him gain public favour too, bc Senator Steve Roger’s wife is not only the perfect submissive housewife and mother, but she is also a working woman! so um, you’ve probably have been asked this many times but how do you start writing fanfic without cringing at yourself? i already feel silly for reading it. i noticed you have gained recognition outside of tumblr which i believe to be an achievement but i can’t allow myself to go through that.

i work in the finance sector at a big american firm, i can’t have my coworkers knowing i’m writing fanfic. i already get teased for watching disney animated films (which it’s not that bad) how do you deal with this? ik you’re still at college and ofc, this doesn’t mean you’re stupid but i bet you know what i mean? do you have some advice on this?

honestly at first i DID cringe at myself. i cringed so much that after posting my first fic in like november i dont think i posted again til january because i was writing and would just get so humiliated despite being alone and no one knowing who i was or what i was doing LOL but honestly the way i got over that was just to do it more because i truly love writing and why would i let feeling “cringe” stop me from doing something i love and that makes me happy? that would be so heartbreaking, life is hard enough, we deserve to do things we love and are passionate about without judging ourselves so harshly

as for not letting other people know well yeah i just don’t tell my friends or anyone ik in real life that i write fanfic lol, they know i love to write and they know im obsessed with spencer reid but that’s as much as i’ve told them! i know it’s a thing that maybe most people would consider “weird” but as someone who has a crushing fear of intimacy this is kinda my outlet lmfao. and it made me feel really insecure and weird at first but then i realized like… i try to be kind and caring and thoughtful, i have a lot of good qualities and the fact that i write fanfic doesn’t actually detract from any of them. it also helped for me to accept the reason why i write fanfic which is (and we’re abt to get real personal) i’m deeply afraid of intimacy of any kind and always have been so writing fiction abt the stuff i’m too scared to do isn’t a bad thing. there are a lot of people who wouldn’t understand it but they don’t have the same experiences as me and i don’t need them to understand it because i know that they never could. like they don’t understand what it’s like to so terrified of being known by another person that you obsess over the hottest guy in your school district for six months bc you want the validation of him liking you back and you do everything in your power to make him like you and then when he actually does reciprocate you immediately start icing him out to the point where he says hi at a party and you ignore him to his face cause you’re so afraid of men😂😂😂😂😂 they don’t get those vibes!!!

anyway basically you just have to remember that you’re doing it for you and it actually doesn’t mean something is WRONG with you if you enjoy writing and the safety and control that fiction offers you. it just means you’re one of billions of people living an entirely unique experience, just like anyone else, and honestly i think it makes you interesting. having hobbies and passions is rlly sexy and cool, regardless of what they are, and you deserve to do stuff you like doing. if anyone else is giving you shit abt it it’s probably because they genuinely don’t understand what it’s like to have interests and that makes me feel bad for them lol

He can't even break the friendship between you and Rin because you don't bother to hide things from Rin, including his brother trying to approach you for some reason.

Sae trying to approach his crush while Rin's always with you like a guard dog, and you avoiding him like the plague bc besties over boyfriends.

I would imagine you and rin to meet in the school(high school/academy/whatever), when you saw him practicing playing soccer and found his skills fascinating, ofc rin would try to push you away; you being that one person that won't go away so easily just sticked around him, annoying him.

eventually you approaching him every day, turned into him trying to run away somewhere else when he saw you but you'd easily catch up. But he later got used to this and was now admitting that he enjoyed spending time with you. And after that, your friendship continued for 2-3 years.

as best friends, you'd probably hang out at some cafes or restaurants or maybe his house and play video games there (and you always lose). it's obvious that he told you about how big of an asshole his so-called "big brother" had become after traveling overseas.

and one day giving a surprise visit at the house when you were with Rin since it was like your guy's usual routine; he'd judge you at first thinking you are probably friends with him for benefits; though he was wrong; for the few days he stayed he saw how genuine you were with Rin, and made him smile.

and what got him the most was the fact you didn't even look him in the eye or even said a word; which crushed his ego as being a successful soccer player. This was really weird from his side since he never got ignored especially by girls.

this made his blood boil, and he tried making attempts to catch your attention though they were all a failure.

even when he was overseas he couldn't help thinking about you, and sooner or later realizing he was attracted to you.

which became his sole reason to come to Japan often; during those times when rin wasn't around he would try to start a conversation with you.

his aura would often make you uncomfortable and the sometimes the conversation would meet awkward ends

you being the type to share everything with rin; you told him about how sae and you would have awkward conversations; and he would try to become closer with even after you try to maintain a safe distance.

rin stayed quiet about it at first but still confronted you about not to be worrying about him.

until one day he saw it for himself; when sae was talking with you, you seemed uncomfortable.

seeing you like this; he just pushed sae off rudely and say "(Name) let's go somewhere else" glaring coldly at his older brother.

After that incident rin would stay around you so that his brother won't trouble you again.

sae was really annoyed about it; he looked ways to break you two apart, until he ended finding out how loyal and honest you were with rin and vice versa.

it was nearly impossible but it didn't mean he was going to give up.

until one day he decided to invite you and rin to his match, which you gladly accepted making rin accept it as well.

scoring like a monster on that day and showing off his skills; was all a play to catch your attention, this time wasn't actually a failure as he saw you just smiling at his goals.

but little did he know you were smiling because of rin joking around about his brother looking like a clown, you had to admit sae was really good at soccer but it didn't mean it took upon your interest.

you had to compliment him after the match like any humble person would do; but those words made sae's heartbeat faster.

but later rin asked to have a "private convo" with his brother making you leave the room so they have their private space.

rin starting it off " i'm aware what you're doing brother.", sae rolled his eyesand replied "ok and?", "stay away from (Name), she doesn't need you; that's i got to say" "bye" rin turned his back to walk away when sae spoke from behind

"i don't care, she will be mine one day."

i mean this is how imagine it; it can be more spicy and thrilling with spicy words and writing😫

other than that I think he’s funny, and I actually really enjoy his stage presence, its how he caught my attention in the beginning. Would you believe it if I said I’m actually… really struggling socially rn? ٩( ᗒᗨᗕ )۶ Just kind of the natural consequences of being tossed around different schools lmaooo. To be completely transparent, I started writing about Zack & Seph when my loneliness really started to pool into depression. My social skills were eradicated by covid- as was the terrible case with a lot of folks (hugs to y’all 🫂)- and I have unfortunately not been able to revive those skills since 😅❤️ There’s admittedly a lot of projection you’ll find in my fics LOL (like… a lot xD). Why do I write so much about Zack being there for Seph post-Gen & Angeal? Well… bc I admittedly want a loyal, loyal friend like that too 😂 (although no one can be as perfect as Zack let’s just make that clear shshshshshsh). Ofc, the solution to my problem isn’t to write fantasies of the final version and wait for a buddy to appear out of thin air lol. I’m working on coping with my crippling anxiety every day- and I do have the utmost hope that, once I leave my current high school, I will be able to find folks more attuned to my own insanity 😂
