i was learning things as i read it, took me 50 chapters to realise the 'paddock' was in fact not a random field of grass

A sad thing about lost media is that some things are lost because of apathy. I have many vhs tapes of shows that I forgot about stuff like Best week ever on vh1. A show that was only relevant for a week so why keep a record of it or release it on DVD. Shows just disappear sometimes and kept alive with snippets online.

What a fucking awesome week!

As I'm presently rocking out to "Mellow 70s Rock" on my obligatory streaming music service this morning, I'm reflecting on what a gloriously awesome week I've had. So far:

Yesterday at work, I totally upended the cart of a long-standing processing system, scattered its contents all over the floor. Then I worked with a co-worker who I suddenly now have a lot of respect for, and re-sorted and restacked everything into a much more workable and efficient procedure. To top this doughnut with sprinkles, we pitched it to our very skeptical boss, who gave us the nod to proceed.

The best part of the above: I have the next six days in a row off. I took 11 consecutive days off last month that I called my min-sabbatical. I thusly call this my min-mini-sabbatical. Or should it be a fun-sized sabbatical?

I had four doctor appointments, with the following outcomes: I'm getting new glasses! My ears are free of wax! I can stop taking 40% of my medications!

I have a potential love interest (well, I'm very interested, and I hope she is too). She is one of the most sweetest and intriguing individuals I have met in a long time. How could she not be, when we share a penchant for waffles! Bonus! While I hope this works out, I'm living in the moment and enjoying the way things are now, and hardly thinking about what could be yet.

Lastly, I'm planning on travels to an adventure to the east. Five plus hours of car driving will be onerous, but a chance to spend time with my best friend in the world will be worth it. I'm brining my canvasses, sketch pads, brushes, paints, pencils, and a shit-ton of ideas. I hope we will have the chance to play "Art Studio" for a couple days.

The temperature is currently -13, but I really don't give a fuck. I hope you, dear reader, may also love life as much as I am on this beautiful sunny morning.
