Banana brownie cake

Ingredients:

6 ripe bananas

240 grams of almond or peanut butter (1 cup)

1 table spoon of coconut oil

3 drops of vanilla extract

160 grams of cocoa powder (2/3 cup)

chocolate chips and/or thinly sliced almonds as sprinkles

1. heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius/400 F

2. mix it all together in a bowl, first with a spoon to smoosh the bananas, then use a mixer for 2 minutes to get a nice, even consistency

3. put a baking sheet on a baking pan, pour the mix in

4. sprinkle chocolate chips and/or thinly sliced almonds on top before popping it in the oven for 25 minutes on 180 C or 350 F

5. wait for it to cool

As much as I'm just freaking tired of the "Female X" discourses in Warhammer 40k I can't not find it amusing that after the official claim that "Custodes were never stated to be male only" some people dived deep into the books to find the bananas referred to as "sons", "men", "brothers" and "Brotherhood" and bring up the sources.

To which the other side's response is to call the first group "Alt Right" and "Nazis".

Like... Yeah... This is precisely what I expected would happen.

It is GW's property and they're free to do whatever they want with it.

Why insist on the lie that they didn't change a thing? It's only fueling the argument.

IMO they should be upfront with the fact they're changing it. It's not like the first retcon they did.

I assume it was the middle ground to please both sides but they mishandled it creating more discourse.

Horse With No Name !

Ingredients:

1 1/2 OZ. REPOSADO TEQUILA

1/2 OZ. AMONTILLADO SHERRY

1/2 OZ. FRESH LEMON JUICE

1/4 OZ. COFFEE LIQUEUR (MUSK USES MR. BLACK)

1/2-3/4 OZ. BANANA LIQUEUR

1/2-3/4 OZ. FUNKY JAMAICAN RUM (MUSK USES SMITH & CROSS)

3/4 OZ. PASSION FRUIT SYRUP (2:1 SIMPLE SYRUP AND PASSION FRUIT PUREE)

3 DROPS BLACK SESAME OIL (OR 2 OF TOASTED SESAME OIL)

Preparation:

Add all of the ingredients to a shaker and whip shake with pebble ice. Dump the contents into a glass. Top with crushed ice and garnish.

TIPFor added depth, make a spiced syrup with cinnamon and vanilla bean to complement the passion fruit: 1 quart of water and 1 quart of sugar, combined with 1 crushed of cinnamon stick, 2 orange peels and 1/2 a vanilla bean, sliced. Heat the mixture but don’t boil. Use this in place of the simple in the passion fruit syrup.

Throwback Video

It’s been 20 years since I made this silly rap video for my film class. I kinda got the idea when I was watching a rap video and realized it’s only like 3 step ups and I could totally do that myself if I wanted to, so I did.

Made a song with Banana Oil who also made a lot of the music for Cletus the Fetus. I freestyles some stupid nonsense.

I shot it on a Saturday and then spent a really long time editing it. I didn’t have a laptop with Final Cut then so I had to go to the schools editing lab to make this and I kept adding effects and messing with it. The guy who worked in the lab got into messing around with me on it. I remember alot of hanging out cause of all the rendering.

I put probably too much into this but it’s still alot of fun and played well at the end of the year film show.
