Geo is still sitting by the window, watching and waiting for a dragon on the horizon to return his kid safe and sound. Cole took a very unsure Bonzle, assured them all everything would be okay, and they'd be back soon. He promised he'd find a way to protect her.

Don't think about how they'll smile when Cole finally trudges back, happy to know he's okay. Especially don't think about the Finders stopping, looking out over the group, and how Cole can't look them in the eyes when they turn to him and ask; where's Bonzle?

lmao sorry to everyone in my inbox, this month has been a mess and I'm just not really around enough for it. someone in my immediate family got a new cancer diagnosis, my not-art job got restructured because management is a joke and it's been.... not great, to be honest! to top it off, my mom's cousin just died because the major hospital didn't have enough beds open for the provincial hospital to transfer him. etc etc etc.

anyway. it's been a lot and I'm Very Tired Of Things Happening 🙃

It's a wild experience, having someone insult you to your face while expecting you to take it as a compliment.

I was a trans group meeting and made some comment off hand about having been a "weird autistic kid". And a guy interrupted that he was surprised I'm autistic because it's "so rare" for girls to have autism.

So I started to explain the whole 'its not really uncommon, girls are just as likely as boys to be autistic, just more likely to be misdiagnosed/ diagnosed late, etc. etc.'

And a woman who was there added on that actually the reason girls are diagnosed as much is because autism is only a "problem" for boys and for girls its a "superpower". And she knows because she's autistic and used to be an aba therapist, and she can transcribe music perfectly, even from a song she heard once, 30 years ago, she can transcribe the lyrics and every note for every instrument perfectly.

She went on to say that since I'm "like that" and don't have "anything special" about me it's prove that I'm "really trans" and was "meant to be a man".

Not even 5 minutes later she was saying that trans men aren't really men (but that's a compliment too, because trans men are actually good while "real men" are bad, and she's lucky she like women but it's "very unfortunate" that I like men and she feels bad for me)

I unfortunately picked up Bravely Default 2 again (I bought it back when it released) and then started over since I last played it in June 2021. And. You know what. I like these silly beans. And then I saw concept art for Dag's expressions and I am not the same. Why did they decide to give him huge fangs in it.

(also I'm trying so hard to avoid spoilers less for plot but more for characters so if you know anything that happens to characters shhhhh. also the expression concept is below the read more so you can see what I mean.)

Rewatched s7 recently too and Ive come to the conclusion that s7 is really so so bad because they cared more about reintroducing the characters by rehashing old plots instead of building interesting (non-racist) stories around those reintroductions. which side note is why its soo CRAZY that buck was so involved in those diaz family plots because that is one of the only New things from s7. Anyways because all that should hopefully be in the rearview I have a bit more hope in s8 and if s8 is bad at least the cast is hotter than ever. And beenado.

yes yes huge agree with all of this!!!! especially buck because like. i mean they touched on everything with him through mentioning stuff in dialogue - it’s almost like they used tommy “getting to know” buck (i say this loosely as an excuse to just drop buck lore - but ultimately his actual s7 storyline was just being eddie’s partner. and also bisexual. which is something… for sure!
