*arthur giving order after order to merlin. cuts himself off and informs merlin that visitors are arriving tomorrow so he should get started on preparations. merlin is annoyed and tries to argue back*

arthur: just do as i say. i'm your king after all.

merlin: a prat is what you are.

arthur, already walking away: that's treason!

*merlin stares as arthur walks off and runs into some of his knights down the hall. they chat for a moment and arthur says something that makes them laugh. he turns to look over his shoulder at merlin with a grin and a wave before turning back to the conversation*

merlin, fighting his own grin: he's the most infuriating man i've ever met.

I honestly think the intensity of Klaus' feelings and their unwavering caliber unnerved Caroline. Pure love & affection was what she craved the most and when it finally made its way to her in the form of Klaus she didn't know what or how to process it. It overwhelmed her, it made her anxious, frightened even but beyond tempted.

Like a moth to a flame , both found themselves drawn to the light in each other.

I have thoughts beyond thoughts about Klaus and his motivations but I can say simply that he wasn't solely driven by "power" like the show tries to push but what he craved the most : love.

They're characters driven by love, born from illicit affairs , and both suffered from the ostracization of their conceptions. Yet in the face of adversity persevered to live, to be free from the cage the world tried to trap them in!

Hello to the Buddyfight fandom it's been a hot minute but god do i miss this show and have been making fanart for it in the background so i thought i'd post to tumblr too ^^

I swear every year I end up coming back to this show and wishing that it kept going, that it got rebooted, that i could just erase my memories of this show and just watch it all over again from the beginning to enjoy everything once again from Tasuku's own sense of justice twisting against him to Gao's suffering of PTSD and how heartfelt it was handled.

There's something very special about this show that I haven't been able to find replicated elsewhere. It has the most perfect world to exist (so much so that i'd love to be isekai'd into it if i could!!!) and while i have my own gripes with it (hi S3+) i honestly sometimes wish i could go back to my high school years of watching this show just to relive it all again :'D

Anyways!!! I hope there's still people out there who enjoy this show even ten years later who'll like seeing new funny artwork for it!

I wanna add too that i'm hoping to create a rewrite of FCBF (ft. seasons 1-3 + Ace) or at least create more artwork for my interpretation of it and its world!

Because, sincerely, this show is one of the few that, for all its flaws, hasn't disappointed me in the years that've followed unlike many other things i've seen and i wanna try to keep the spirit of it alive while I can thanks to that. And if there are any fans still in existence who love it, i wanna provide some food while its once again in my orbit because damn do i adore this show <3 <3 <#

MEET MR. JOE (Joseph) REACHER: Reacher's big brother.

Charismatic, smart, level-headed, and a 10/10 people-person, Joe is the most approachable one of the Reacher brothers, always at the ready to handle a conversation, a negotiation, a transaction, you name it.

Born in a military base in the Philippines, this 6'6" man leans more to using his brains, in contrast to Reacher's brawn aspect, despite them both being close to equals. Where Reacher excels more in the physical, Joe excels more in the mental.

From a young age, he perfected his innate ability to control emotions and discovered the fact that not everyone can employ this ability, exploiting it both in and out of the military, especially now that he works for the Secret Service. Usually, Joe can divert things to work in his favor by simply choosing which emotion will elicit the reaction or result he is aiming for; he can cry on cue, grow excited, lose all care, and the like, all by deciding upon it – like turning a switch on or off. This makes him able to lie easily and constantly to further get his way, but mostly as a means of protection or to solve a case.

When they were young, he was an integral pillar for Reacher, teaching him all he knew, protecting him when he could, and fighting side by side to survive the turmoil they faced by being military children and, subsequently, military men. This guardian aspect of himself went to follow him even in adulthood, his own sense of justice compelling him to try and fix everyone's problems, just like he used to fix Reacher's. He is a fixer, he looks to help as many people as he can, despite knowing that not everyone can be saved – he still has to try, after all.

Ugh listening to tdv original cast recording 1998 totale finsternis and????!??!?! How did anyone listen to this song and leave with the take that tdv is a love triangle show???!! If anything literally all of the lyrics indicate that what Sarah and Krolock are singing is about much more than that specific relationship. Like, they're attracted to each other for sure, but they're most of all attracted to what the other represents. Idk where people got the idea that Alfred represents the opposite of freedom for Sarah (and hence opposes Krolock because of that) when his and Sarah's duet is literally called out there is freedom

It's funny because I found this on the translation website, when Claude uwus because uwu the game doesn't want to kill Supreme Leader :

Like people already said in the og post, FE16's subtext can make for interesting comparisons and foils between the 4 characters (Rhea included) and how they can be foils to each other....

But it never happened because 1/Rhea/Nabateans must not be developed else no Hresvelg Tea 2/ Supreme Leader can't look BaD.
