Either Ben Simmons or the designer actually read "The Garden of Time" and I'm impressed
The TL;DR version is the Count has to pluck 'time flower' to turn back time and prevent an angry mob from arriving

So we know from her character story that Windsong's real name is Ekaterina, but we never get to know where the name "Windsong" came from.
Someone on discord got a big brain idea that it might be a smart gay reference to the Little Mermaid, where Windsong is the wind spirit Vila meets at the end of her story!
As we all know, the Little Mermaid is fated to die and dissolve into sea foam, but her good deed spares her life and transforms her into a Sylph, a daughter of the air. She goes to live her new life with the other wind spirits, where they strive to do good deeds for 300 years to get the eternal soul.
This parallels SO well to Vila, a "mermaid" who survives her fate of "dissolving" to the Storm, marking the end of her old life in Rayashki and the start of a new one in the Foundation with her "wind spirit", aka Windsong! They also look after the Rayashki kids together, whom Vila refers to as the true "eternal soul" in her story.
In the fairy tale, the wind spirits can also shorten their 300 years of service by meeting good children (probably to encourage the kids you read this story with to behave), which ties another connection to Vila and Windsong teaching and caring for the kids throughout the story.

When Marcille roleplayed as Chilchuck’s wife because it’s a normal way to engage in gossip of course of course, her appearance is really just her as a half-foot in a common dress and two braids. Uncharacteristically simple for her, though she did wear those as a half-foot too. At the end of canon, Chilchuck, implicitly by the text ~filling the hole in her heart~ by doing her hair for her when she lost the will to care for it herself, puts it in two braids.
She’s one step closer to her "I wonder what Chilchuck would be like as a husband" fantasy…. Don’t give up girl dreams come true, keep asking him about spending the rest of your daily lives together
Mfw his love language is acts of service

Oh, you have a new name but sometimes dickhead people and your parents call you by your other name? Always an outcast in the society you grew up in? Not fitting in line with what was deemed acceptable in the standard norms? Choosing found family over a blood family that still refuses to see you as you are, who call you too young and delusional to know whats best for yourself? Pink, white and blue color schemes? Are you Sora from Ninjago or are you trans? Answer quickly

there's something sadly funny about the way that Kaladin goes into literally every situation thinking "Too bad I'm not cool anymore 😔"
I mean. I get it. Depression fucks your brain up and you feel detached from yourself and any skills you have or had. The PTSD and chronic fatigue are keeping him from doing things he once managed with far less effort. And it's rather impossible to feel like you can just... do things like you used to when you're struggling at a basic level to simply be.
Still, literally everyone who knows him is like "Kaladin you're so storming cool" and he goes "They're referring to the person I was, who is dead. I'll never be cool again. I'm sorry."
The most hilarious thing? He walks into these moments, thinking 'too bad', and then he does the most objectively amazing thing possible while everyone else just watches in awe.
Kaladin, three seconds after absolutely changing everyone's outlook on life: Aw, it's too bad the person I just was died again. Guess I have to find something else to be cuz I sure can't pull that off anymore.
