Having become a doting father to his own offspring, Jasper had been keen to meet his three nieces. Having been busy with his home business and hardware shop planning, he’d only manged to come over and meet all three babies today.

“Aww Phil, these three are so perfect! I cannot wait to see what amazing women they’ll grow up to become.”

Phillip smiled, completing his Parenting course book. “Part of me is terrified to have to deal with three teenager girls in a few years!” he said with a chuckle.

Jasper scooped up Phoebe as Phillip put his book away. “Oh trust me, me and El have three daughters as well, so we’re equally terrified!”

Both brothers chuckled again and Phillip watched his brother holding his youngest carefully, speaking softly to her.

It’s a shame Father can’t be here to meet them, Phillip thought forlornly. 

Soon, he vowed to himself. 

He still had misgivings on what Sylvie and Jasper’s plan to defeat their mother was but if it was worth the risk for their children to meet their grandfather, then he wouldn’t seek to sabotage it.

Phew, that was the busiest freaking day of my life! It wasn't a crazy big wedding or anything, we wanted something private (we're "saving money" after building the mansion - yeah right!). The following day is Phillip’s day to head off to the office. 

Emily delights in being able to have the triplets to herself. Thankfully they do not scream much and sleep most of the day. She suspects that only because they’re still so little as all three were on the small (but not dangerously so) side when they were born.

Since Max changed jobs and Janet took over, Emily had taken time to get to know the young woman. The girl was actually quite quiet and didn’t enjoy talking about herself and her home life.

Emily had a growing suspicion that whilst Janet adored being in town, her boyfriend Frank who’d moved here with her, did not. 

Emily felt protective of the younger woman, almost like a mother, and didn’t want Janet to feel like she should do anything that she didn’t want to. Janet had also sent texts to all her clients to let them know that she was looking for more overtime if they needed her for weekends.

Emily knew she might well be wrong but she needed Janet to tell her she was.

I had to go and do the big apology thing for Siobhan - I mean, how could I have a wedding without her as the maid of honour? And more importantly - the bachelorette party! She's so excited for me, she forgave me - of course.
