All this aroace character shipcourse has proven to me that a majority of people that interact in fandom cannot actually interact with characters and media outside of shipping and genuinely I believe you need to learn how to interact with media outside of shipping.

sometimes it feels like the transformers fandom can be really elitist and clique-y.... like if you dont do these things a certain way (or if you DO something a certain way) then you're a freak or a weirdo. and ppl or groups of ppl just kinda DONT like you, which can tie into the whole feeling of left out. and im not just talking about ships or character analysis or those things, but also like collecting figures (like if u take some rare figures outta the box ppl get really uppity abt it)

idk how to describe it but thats sometimes the general gist of how i feel whenever i look at the tf fandom (im pretty new here. got into tf bc of tfone although i've known abt transformers since the 2000s cus my cousin was into it). its kinda scary idk.... like an either you do or you don't but regardless, ur probably on a group of ppl's shit list. ofc i know that u can't please everyone and ppl should just learn to live with the idea that somewhere out there, people will dislike them but idk *shrugs*
