Dragon Ball Broly RP Icons

Free to use. Likes or reblogs are cool.  Icons are from Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Dark Demon Realm.  I believe there are 25 of them.

To have one's potential completely unleashed, it destroys access to the Super Saiyan state. Supplanting it with the warrior's awakened true prowess flaring far and above that of any transformations. But just because the connection has been severed, does not mean the form has ceased to exist.

It meant that the form was sealed away - the form had to be awakened once more. This was all well for some, as it was not a thing pursued by Gohan, who had chosen to lean into his heritage as an Earthling instead of as a Saiyan. Yet for Gotenks, who did desire it, he could not achieve it by mere training - it was to be unleashed by crushing waves of Need. Desperation.

And yet, when the legend had been reborn, when the ultimate awakening had commenced, it was not the like of his fathers'. With hair flaring a platinum blond, and eyes burning red, this form was the spitting image of warriors from ages long forgotten - this was, for Gotenks, the True Form of the Super Saiyan.

Wrong on both fronts, before moving to correct the saiyan, an arm is held out lengthways, halting the swishing of errant limbs whilst creating space between them. With the brute's frailing limb subsued, the projected image of his holographic assistant regains stability, a grin that stretched from ear to ear worn on her face as Miguel steps blithely around the other, transitioning from Broly's side to standing directly in front of him.

"Firstly," begins the Spider, counting his points out with the fingers of his right hand. "You had that coming. LYLA is, among other things, an artificial intelligence. She remembers acts like that." No doubt she was also capable of seeing humour in the move, too, a brighter side that Miguel declined to share in.

"And secondly," middle finger unfurls to join pointer digit. "She makes recommendations based on available knowledge. It would be worth your while to try to listen to her, sometimes."

Man... Akira Toriyama passing...

Like, between Dragon Ball Z and Chrono Trigger, there's so much that man contributed not only to my childhood, but to the basic DNA of my views on storytelling. Like, the characters he created have inspired so much in me - I'd kill to create someone as iconic as Bulma Briefs or Piccolo. And his unique visual style, seamlessly dancing between sci-fi and fantasy and even blending the two... And, like, Cell's introduction in DBZ is to this day one of the most effective series of horror beats I've ever seen in media. And! And! The dude still had it, he had that spark. Yeah, he's not a perfect creator, he had some dud arcs and persistent weaknesses as a writer and designer, but Battle of the Gods was such a good return to form for DBZ while also being a sly deconstruction of it, and DB Super: Broly actually managed to make the title character finally live up to his hype.

The sheer amount of creativity Toriyama had created a vast body of work, and for every miss he had at least five homeruns. A true legend in our time.

gotta know your opinion on freeza

One of the most iconic villains in all of Dragon Ball, probably in all of anime on general. He’s a horrible evil bastard and I love him. He’s also surprisingly funny, especially in the Broly movie. He’s definitely in my Top 5 favorite DB Villains.

Though I feel his presence is being very overused nowadays in the current story (for example I feel the Resurrection F arc was completely unnecessary and takes away some of the hype built-up for his return in the TOP) I still overall enjoy Freeza’s character and evilness. I’m not crazy about his Black Freeza design, it’s just his final form in a different shade, it would’ve been cooler if he got an actual upgrade maybe something similar to Cooler’s final form design??

All I hope for now is that Vegeta is the one who defeats him once and for all.
