In the reverse brother haunting AU. How did Ortho cope with well, not being seen as human because of his robotic body. From Idia’s first year at NRC all the way to when Ortho finally accepted as a first year of night raven college where he finally accepted as one(Ps for a more light noted question, how did Ortho fully use his robotic body[possible the other gears too] to its fullest potential?)

Well... He doesn't cope that well...

At first it comes as a shock, since Ortho was used to Idia, his parents and the whole STIX just treating him like a normal being. Taking in account his suggestions and sometimes correcting him if he happens to say something wrong or not understand something. He was praised and nagged, just like Idia was. He is the spirit of a human in a metal body. He is bound to learn and make mistakes. He is a person first and foremost and that was acknowledged at home. His parents and Idia built him a body for the scope of being able to be seen, heard and interact with others.

Then it came NRC. Ortho went in along Idia since both were on par with the very similar level of knowledge. Ortho would try to do Idia's homework and learn just like his big brother. Of course, Ortho looked forward to making friends in here.

Then it came the shock that the others only see him as a robot. As an object that is only programmed to obey some strict orders. If he tried to show that he thought on his own, that he had his own emotions and everything else, the others would say that Idia had some talent in programming a robot. Idia himself was on Ortho's side, denying that he just used a very simple base program, mostly for the powering, joints articulations and special commands Ortho could use. He tried to insist that the others have to AT LEAST acknowledge Ortho as a person. Like just give him that. It's not that hard to at least say a hello or maybe just take in account that he would get upset or happy about certain things.

It ended up with the others thinking Idia was probably so lonely to the point he was delusional, while Ortho was just a very intricate AI. Ortho couldn't connect to other devices. He had to possess them and even then, it wasn't as if he was a technological cutting edge machine. He sometimes did mess up the folders or programs.

Weather Ortho had a less than calculated response to things, others would brush it off as being an error or a bug. And that was absolutely frustrating because they implies that something was wrong with him. That he is not supposed to act like that.

In response to that, Idia grew cold towards the rest. Like why should he be nice if the others can't give some basic acknowledgement towards his brother. Sure, he's a bit more different than your average kid, but at least acknowledge that he is someone. Can y'all stop being petty and prideful bastards for a bit?! What makes Idia feel worse about it is the fact that the others try to drag him out and socialise. He is simply refusing and becoming shut in, because he feels like the others do not deserve for him to do what they want if they cannot respect his and Ortho's wish to at least acknowledge the little Shroud.

Hence why, the STIX incident hits so hard for poor Ortho. His brother also had to go through the very same procedures once news of his overBlot were reported. Yet these bastards still are so entitled and mean. Not to mention they still do not acknowledge Ortho as a person in HIS OWN HOUSE. Like this is probably some basic decency at lest.

i have been unmedicated for the entirety of spring break and thus have had little interest in writing this down, but i have been thinking about this for the entire week (as well as a dpdc clone danny au that resulted in it becoming its entirely separate batman au that includes a teenage vigilante bruce wayne, an ocarina, and me entirely incapable of making a batman au without making bruce dirt poor but we're not talking about that) and so i've finally went 'fuck it' and forcibly grabbed my laptop. I will get this done in one sitting even if it kills me.

BUT. This is about neither clone^2 danny nor about who i am calling Ocarina Batman. This is about my Danyal Al Ghul Au and more SPECIFICALLY it's me thinking about his relationship with Sam and Tucker specifically.

Tucker and Sam? Adore this asshole (affectionate) with every fiber of their being. And it is very much a reciprocated feeling, but Danny's thoughts will not be delved into much other than he would kill for them.

Tucker? The only person currently capable of getting a deep, loud, belly laugh out of Danny. Sam can get him to smile and to laugh, but it's the kind that's a chuckle-under-the-breath. The quiet, looks-down-while-huffing laughter. Snorts once with laughter and then grins stupidly.

But Tucker? Tucker can crack a slew of stupid jokes and Danny will be incapacitated for the next five minutes because he's laughing so hard that he can't breath. He lands one well-timed pun or quip and Danny will be close to tears. His laughter is their favorite sound in the whole world.

Sam is lowkey jealous of this ability, and she's gotten a belly laugh out of Danny a few times. But alas, it is Tucker who wields this power and has gotten it the most times out of the two of them.

They're also both physically affectionate with Danny as much as possible. It started roughly around when they were 12-ish, a year since they befriended Danny, and they noticed that he sought after touch but never seemed to initiate (and was in some ways repulsed by it). They started slowly being more touchy with him. Hooking a finger around his to lead him somewhere, tapping his wrist, looping arms. Little touches, grabs, etc, to get him used to it, and once he started doing it back they started increasing it.

It's gotten to a point where he will now just. Lay on them. Like a lizard sunbathing on a rock. Leaning on their backs when they're sitting in class before the bell rings, his chin on their heads. He'll talk about anything with his arms looped around their shoulders.

If they're sitting on a couch at either of their houses, he'll lay his legs on theirs. Him and Tucker will press their feet against the other's and try and push against them (newsflash: Danny always wins, Tucker claims its the ghost strength but Danny's been winning since before his accident)

Naturally, both Sam and Tucker know where Danny keeps his weapons on his person, and are allowed to grab them off of him if they need it. His only requirement is that they don't lose his weapons if they take it and forget to return it immediately.

They both understand how big of a thing this is from Danny, and so they do their best to treat his weapons with a lot of respect and care because they know its his way of saying he trusts them.

Sam and Tucker are so fond of Danny it's insane. Like fr. That's their goddamn best friend, and they are so protective of him. Emotionally, physically, you name it. They will tear the head off a grown man if they need to, Danny's had scars since he arrived in Amity Park and Sam and Tucker both are going to find the person who put them there and make them pay for it.

One time, Tucker overheard a bunch of upperclass girls speaking nastily about Danny and about the rumors surrounding him, calling him names like 'freak', 'monster', etc. Danny was with him and heard it, and seemingly appeared unbothered by it, even telling Tucker that he was used to such rumors.

Tucker was so furious that hacked into the school system later that night and tanked those girls grades. They were kicked out of their clubs and had to go to mandatory tutoring for the rest of the year. He made sure to leave some way of letting them know it was him who did it.

And Sam doesn't like using her money for things, doesn't like abusing that wealth. So instead, whenever her parents talk bad about Danny, she causes a media incident that has her parents scrambling to deal with. She does something wild, outrageous by her parents' standards.

She heard some boys on the basketball team making fun of Danny once, similar to those girls had. She kicks up a fuss about something eco-unfriendly at school and forcibly holds a protest on the same day of the big home basketball game, forcing them to cancel the event and reschedule to a visiting school.

She anonymously donates money so that there's new uniforms for the team but oops! Looks like she "forgot" to donate enough money for them to get uniforms for all the team members, and strangely enough those boys in particular didn't get them! Looks like they'll have to wait until more money gets donated for the basketball team to get their new, nice uniforms. The old ones look so ratty in comparison, right?

And since the football team gets most of the sport money, that might just take awhile. And if (and when) they kick up a fuss? oops! Off the basketball team you go, :) such unsportsman-like behavior is unfit for the team.

(The only good thing about how corrupt the school system is is that she can use it to her advantage too.)

The both of them know that Danny suspects them for the sudden misfortune falling on these people, but he doesn't call them out on it. He's kinder than he used to be, but not kind enough to vouch for people who speak badly of him. Sometimes, he might just congratulate them on not getting caught.

Because Danny is their wonderful, hurt friend with a "slightly" Blue and Orange Moral code, and enough scars that people have been calling him a criminal (and worse) since he arrived in Amity Park when he was ten. And they'll be damned if he gets hurt anymore.

there's a lot going on in there! Arminius switching to Latin is a detail that always makes me feel a deep kind of sadness, especially with how it's preceded by mention of their mother. I wonder what she thought of what became of her sons, on opposite sides of everything but still, inescapably, brothers. even when they want to kill each other. there sure are a lot of fucked up and unhappy brothers around. and Arminius asking about Flavus' injury............I also had a whole thing typed out about the horror of imperialism and colonization and the trauma of assimilation but I think this sets the tone better

Finarfin Fades.

No one expects it, no one’s faded in Valinor since Miriel. The War of Wrath is won and he comes back, waving off the courtiers, well wishers, and congratulators with his usual grace, and walks into the palace of Tirion. To rooms abandoned since their owners left so long ago. Winding deeper and deeper his feet take him to what was once Finwë’s favourite garden.

He’s so tired.

He’s fulfilled his promise to Fëanaro and Nolofinwë, to avenge them. To make the agony of their final moments - agony Finarfin felt, falling to the floor screaming as fire and darkness consumed his spirit - count for something. Now Morgoth is finally gone, but he’s not the only one.

His brothers, larger than life, larger than death, are gone. With them his sons. Niece. Nephews. Grandchildren. His daughter is never to return. He Saw little Nelyo’s death in his dreams and is sure hopes for the child’s own sake that Makalaurë will be close behind.

Little remains. Even less on these golden shores.

So Finarfin sits on a bench long overgrown with vines and weeds, and watches the sun filter through the thicket, wishing the ghosts he sees in his father’s garden would flesh out.

He sits. He waits.

And by the time anyone finds him, it’s too late.

Demon Twin AU but it's Sam instead of Danny

Once she moves in with the Bats she ends up with a large greenhouse next to Damian's barn. Bruce got help from the Sirens to build it. Sam ends up basically adopted by the Sirens. She does roller derby with Harley, protests and charity galas for saving wildlife with Ivy, and steals evidence of corruption with Selina under the identity of Vulture. A bird that's around death, decay, and carrion.

Vulture and Robin are a brutally efficient team, Vulture using a chain hammer with a rubber end and Robin his katana. Vulture also has reinforced knee pads like scare actors have to slide around while fighting and gloves with reinforced knuckles for close combat. She also has a Fenton wrist ray and laser lipstick on her at all times, maybe even a thermos as a precaution.

I am chewing on your sun god nika/king of hell zoro concept. I am in love with it. Luffy "death before loneliness" trying to make a sacrifice he would loathe with every fiber of his being and /zoro knowing this/. Zoro dragging him back down because Luffy may be a god but he's the captain of the strawhats first!!! They won't let him be alone ever again!!!

I know right. (Ah madoka magica you never fail me) I’m so glad you’re interested because I have been waiting to talk about this one!!!!

Luffy being faced with the choice to safe his crew/world by becoming Nika. However doing so would force him into a different plain of existence. He can’t be with his loved ones anymore. He will be alone forever, but they would be safe and happy.

Luffy would take it. If there are no other options, if everything else had been exhausted, Luffy would become Nika to save his crew.

Even if it destroyed him.

He would hate it. Like you said. He would rather die than be lonely. But I think he’d also do it with a smile on his face not just to reassure his crew but also because if it’s to save them, his family who he loves so much, I don’t think he would regret the decision. Yes the consequences suck, but can he truly be sad in the moment or with the outcome when they are safe?

Some might see it as an act of selflessness but to Luffy this is him being selfish. He’s doing this to protect what is his, his crew.

Then you have Zoro. Loyal beyond understanding.

The whole crew wants Luffy back. The world is celebrating and yet they don’t care. They would have found another way to win. They will find another way to win! And when they do they will bring Luffy back!

They crew is determined, but even after finding a different solution, which took forever (they never would have found it in time to stop Luffy in the first place) Luffy still doesn’t return to them.

And they can’t wrap their minds around why. Why isn’t he back? They solved the problem, there’s no reason for him to be Nika anymore.

But that’s just the thing. Luffy is Nika now. And unless they can separate Luffy from Nika’s influence, find someway to block Nika’s power, Luffy’s not coming back.

And considering they can’t even get to him, because different plain of existence and all, any plan they might have to cut of Nika’s influence (sea prism cuffs?) they can’t enact.

But Zoro’s not willing to accept that. No way in hell, if only gods can get to where Luffy is then Zoro will become one and drag Luffy back down to them.

Cue becoming the literal king of hell.

And you know what, I haven’t even told you the best part.

Zoro dies doing this. The crew is mourning. They know Zoro’s dying. They gather around for his final moments on the Sunny. His body has exhausted itself trying to find away to return Luffy to them. The crew knows this is the end.

But who should descend to their ship, Nika himself in all his glory.

He approaches Zoro with a smile. He’s starts talking about how he’s sorry for making Zoro (and the crew, but right now he’s speaking to Zoro specifically, and isn’t his first mate just fantastic still setting an example for the crew!) wait but now they can be together. Mortals can’t be in the realm of the gods but spirits/souls can.

Nika is here to collect Zoro’s soul. To bring him with him. Luffy is a selfish person. Sure he had to separate from his crew in this life time. But what’s a lifetime to an eternity? They can now be together forever.

His hope was that his crew would live out their lives and accomplish their dreams. That way they could join him without regrets. This was always his plan.

This plan was not communicated to the crew. Even in this moment he sounds like he’s talking nonsense.

Jimbei and Robin are starting to realize what Luffy’s plan was all along. But it’s Sabo (yes he’s here hello) who puts it together in startling clarity when he see who is behind Luffy. Ace is here. Smiling and happy. As soon as Luffy became Nika he plucked Ace’s soul and said your mine now.

The crew thought Luffy was alone for eternity, and he should have been. But nothing is impossible for Luffy. Nothing stops him from loving those around him. I bet it took like a week before he figured out how to pull spirits into his realm.

But Zoro’s to gone to hear or notices any of this. But he can feel Luffy getting closer, he will always recognize Luffy. (It’s not Nika to him, only Luffy) and when Nika reaches for his soul Zoro strikes, grabbing hold of Nika’s wrist and releasing so much conquerors haki, the universe itself bends.

If Luffy rewrote the world becoming Nika then Zoro will rewrite it again. This is now Asura reality.

Because whatever Zoro did worked. He wasn’t dying his soul was changing.

He shatters their current reality ripping Luffy straight out of Nika. The crew is screaming. Ace charges forward but there’s nothing he can do as the universe rips apart and rebuilds itself for a second time.

During the whole chaos Luffy is held tightly against Zoro’s chest. His captain is safe and he’s not letting go again.

Zoro rewrites reality.

When everyone comes to it’s a normal day on the Sunny. Sanji’s cooking breakfast, Nami is drawling her map, Robin and Jimbei are reading. Brook is playing music, and Franky is working on an invention. All is calm

Until Luffy, Chopper and Usopp barge onto the deck playing one of their games.

Zoro is on the deck finishing his “night watch” (because he just survived the darkest night, a world without Luffy) and smiles at them. Everything is back as it should be.

They even have guests coming to join them for breakfast as Fire Fist Ace and Flame Emperor Sabo. (It’s Zoro’s world. I’m sure when he was making it he felt Ace’s presences and was like why not bring him back)

And it’s perfect. They are all together. And Zoro will keep the crew and his captain safe, forever.

Except it’s not perfect

Luffy may not remember his time as Nika but he can feel that part of him pulling him. He gets the feeling that something is wrong.

It gets really bad whenever he is alone. He gets the feeling that he needs to be somewhere else. Nika starts to sink back in.

But Zoro’s always there. He can feel Nika trying to break free, to remake the universe again. He just wraps his arms around Luffy.

It’s a constant battle of wills between Nika and Asura. A battle that Zoro knows he’s only winning because Luffy is letting him. Because Luffy doesn’t remember why he became Nika in the first place, he has no context for why Nika is pulling so hard. All he knows is that Nika wants him to leave his friends, to leave Zoro. But why would Luffy ever abandon his crew? In what world would he ever leave them? He can’t imagine it.

So he lets Zoro win their battle of wills because he wants to stay with Zoro. Zoro would never keep him here if he didn’t want to stay (debatable) and Zoro would never hurt him.

Who remembers?

It’s debatable who remembers what at any given time. I think Zoro got rid of everyone’s memories of Nika’s world. To him it was kindness that the crew never knew a world without Luffy.

But there is one person who keeps remebering that world. Someone who is both part and not part of this new world and it’s not Luffy.

It’s Ace. He remembers the Devine realm Nika made for them since he was a part of it. He was dead in the main timeline and got to join Luffy in his divine plain once Luffy created it. He knows something is wrong with this new world.

And this is a problem for Zoro.

By grabbing that poor sucker by the scruff and letting the Bewilderbeast mind control him 😭 the ideal slave right in snatching distance.

With Minicup mind controlled, it meant he could be the one to fly the Mind Controlled Big Tooth to Berk, since I sincerely doubt Drago could figure out how to operate Tooth's complicated tail fin in that moment. Get Minicup on there, he's had years of experience! Win-win for Drago, lose-lose for LITERALLY everyone else.

Of course, this means that Hiccup the Elder, right after his father died, has not only lost his best friend to Drago, but his little brother too.

uhhh can I ask how both brother haunting AUs went when it came to their actual overblot, heck what exactly during book 2 cause of their involvement. Does that mean uhhh the order of the overblots happening gets jumbo up in this AU?

Firstly: the only switcheroo we get is mushing the Shroud overBlot in between Riddle and Leona. After that, the order is exactly like in cannon, with the exception that after Vil it comes the STIX incident, then Malleus. :'D

But for the Halloween fiasco:

Now for a special note: in this Au, only Ortho could see and hear Idia as a specter, when he doesn't possess something (it goes the same for reverse au). Other ghosts can also see Idia too, but the thing is, because of this sensible sight, sometimes it leads to headaches and as such, more emotional sensibility. This is why Ortho is so full of anxiety and can easily break down. This takes a toll on his quite young body, especially when he's thrown so early into high-school and receives the short end of the stick when it comes to socialising. This also makes him much more vulnerable to ghost possessions. When a ghost possesses him, his curse effectively gets dimmed down in order to protect his mind and preserve the special sight. Hence only in the instance of possession Ortho could actually overBlot (this goes the same for the reverse au, but Idia takes the place :'3)

For the normal brother haunting au:

Ortho was in the organising comitee, which added some of his plate since he also was the Ignihyde Dormhead. This, of course is a lot on his plate so he also does admit that Halloween is a holiday he loves, but also hates the NRC Halloween for the mere fact that it's crowded and in his first year, everyone was all over 'the cute 12 years old on campus'. Now he was in charge and he wanted things to go smoothly. Idia took off his responsabilities the more heavy ones, insisting that his brother could try and have fun. Sure, the last 2 years were a bit bad, but he had some fun in the end. He could approach Adeuce and have fun with them, as they still don't know Ortho's a 3rd year.

Magicam monsters are absolutely doing a horrible job, to the point Ortho has to plead Idia from literally blowing off these mfs.

Following that, we have the endless Halloween night. Prior to that, Idia sent his little brother or bed early, for the reason that he was tired and needed to get some shut-eye and relax after all this fiasco.

Cue Idia returning and finding no Ortho in the bed. He was the one who tucked him in, so Idia was zooming around, trying to find his brother. He felt that smth was amiss and he found out when he came to the mirror chamber and saw the others.

Of course, unlike the others, Idia is the most worried because he knows in what true danger ortho was in. He insisted to hurry up and really he had little to none patience for anyone else. He basically carried Riddle and Ruggie the whole way through. Jade was literally blasted into a wall and the others also meet a similar fate. Possessed or not, you get fucking punted on sight. :'3

When everyone reunites and Idia counts heads, he realises that Ortho is still missing and rightfully he freaks out about it.

That, of course, until they meet overBlot Ortho. He was not possessed due to the overBlot rejecting the ghost possession. But he was scared and panicked. He was alone in there with only a Phanthom by his side and it was cold and dark and scary.

The others immediately jump to the fight, while Idia is thorn on what he should do. He eventually tries to reach to Ortho, seeing how his mere presence gets a reaction out of him. This time, as a ghost, which also was able to be properly seen by everyone.

Later on, after that, Malleus and Lilia are getting punt in a wall :3

Now for the reverse!

We have Ortho, whose battery ran out, so his robot body was charging up while he as a specter was roaming around. He did converse around with a few ghosts who seemed very happy around. After all, Halloween was their favorite holiday so Ortho kinda saw why they would be so happy.

Things tho, go south when he returns to the room and sees no Idia. He wonders around, but the rest of the ghosts were gone and Ortho couldn't be seen or heard around by the living.

Of course, he also follows through the mirror along the Halloween enders team. That's when Riddle and Ruggie get a spook since 'that's a dead kid!?' and Ortho also gets a spook since 'you can see me????'.

Ortho also trails after the 2. They don't know why this dead child that resembles Idia a bit is following them, but alas, the child doesn't do much so they are good with it. They didn't figure out that Ortho was actually the ghost, but Shh...

Meanwhile, we have Idia overblotting due to his tiredness and the will to go out, mixed all around with the confident ghost that possessed him beforehand. Oh he's clearly rampaging through.

The others find Idia squaring up with Lilia and Malleus. Due to the afterlife world hindering a bit the fae powers, it was a pretty equal fight and BOI does Idia just not run dry. It takes Ortho attempting to possess him in order to distract him enough so the others could at least weaken him a bit then able to knock him out. :'3

Yep... Pretty messy :D

Haunted theatre AU:

If kermoot was in the AU..

Ever since Today I've posted the trio (Kermit, miss piggy And fozzie) in @eldritch-muppetshow 's haunted theatre AU, I have thought: "wait! How would kermoot look like if he was in the AU?" And i have Drew him how would he look like if he was in the AU =^_^=

I feel like he would be the beelzebufo, or also known as the devil frog that is an prehistoric frog, And i have found an image of it where it looks more scarier-

• he has the webbed Hind feet And webbed Hind hands just like an normal frog. And his fingers are a little pointer And he uses it to scratch the guests, but even the muppets, but sometimes fails to scratch the muppets.

• he has pointy teeth, even tho frogs DONT have teeth, And he doesnt have his yellow teeth here, but they sure are pointy And sharp!
