Note that, Bubble Sort is not considered an efficient sorting algorithm in terms of performance, especially for large datasets. The key performance characteristics of Bubble Sort are as follows:

Best-Case Time Complexity: The best-case time complexity occurs when the input list is already sorted. In this scenario, Bubble Sort still needs to pass through the list to determine that no swaps are needed, resulting in a best-case time complexity of O(n).

Average-Case Time Complexity: The average-case time complexity of Bubble Sort is also O(n^2). This is because it makes roughly the same number of comparisons and swaps as in the worst-case scenario for random or partially sorted data.

Space Complexity: Bubble Sort is an in-place sorting algorithm, meaning it doesn't require additional memory allocation for sorting. Its space complexity is O(1), indicating that it uses a constant amount of memory regardless of the input size.

In love with the idea of captain marvel being Billy's imaginary friend. Like, it'd be so easy. Early depictions had them as almost fully separate people sometimes, like one soul with two minds, rather than just two filters like we mostly see now.

But imagine a Billy down on his luck, hurt and hiding from police and criminals alike, daydreaming the hours away as children do, taking inspiration from all the superheroes rising to fame, making little stories to play out his dreams of saving the world with a generic action doll he found while dumpster diving once. Most of the paint's rubbed off.

Red's his favourite colour, his comfiest jumper is a bright ruby even after all the grime and washes. Gold, too, it's shiny and warmer than silver! A hero cape is a must, big and eye catching! And he can fly, of course, like superman, and in his daydreams, when he's sore and frustrated after a long day's grind, his superhero is smart enough and knows all the right words to get the bullies to stop without resorting to fighting.

His superhero fantasy is one he spends a lot of time on, the first one he goes for when struggling to sleep at night, and he can picture it so clearly. Captain marvel is big and bright and kind, strong enough to lift the boxes for the old lady up the road who's moving all by himself, fast enough to catch Jamie who fell out of the tree on Saturday and broke his leg and couldn't come to class for weeks. He appears at the entrance to alleys when Billy is cornered, he steps up behind to cover for him when he gets caught shoplifting, he sits at the bus stop with him when it's pouring rain and the right bus doesn't seem to be coming.

And then the wizard comes, or rather whisks him away, and like a magician from a fairytale breathes life into his imaginary friend until Billy feels thrice his size and a million times more invincible.

From then on, captain marvel is a real hero, just like Billy is a real boy, and as one they save the whole city, and then the whole world, and get cats down from trees and help Mrs Victoria move the last of her boxes and she gives them a pinch in the cheek and cookies for the road and sometimes it hurts but it's so much better than he imagined.

I was watching someone's soundtrack reaction to the Wicked movie when Defying Gravity popped up and they said this:

"From Glinda's perspective she's like 'Why would you not just put on a face? Do you have to say everything you feel, and do everything you stand by?'"

And I was just like: There! There! You broke Glinda down to her bare bones! Everything about her is a performance meant to make the majority of people adore her! She's a bubbly blonde with a pretty face. No one expects her to be anything else. Despite this though, Glinda is honestly the more strategic and less impulsive of the two. Elphaba constantly has so much passion just bursting forth. She's reactionary. And the hard part about Defying Gravity is that for a moment Glinda gets swept up in that passion. She cares for Elphie so much and of course she would love to go with her, look out for her, because Elphie's right about a lot of things, and they would be an unbeatable team.

But once Glinda stops to think, once she's able to truly grasp the severity of what Elphie's suggesting, all she can see is two young women going up against someone who controls perception throughout the whole country. She sees that they don't have a plan. They don't have anywhere to go. She sees them both having to run and run and run. She can't be as impulsive as Elphie. She can't even be as passionate. Because Glinda has buried so much of herself behind a facade that to be truly exposed for what she really is feels like it would be a death sentence for her.

Glinda is a coward in all the ways that truly matter.

And that's before we even get into Act 2, where the woman is truly just a person shaped by every regret and repressed feeling she's ever had hiding behind a pearly white smile and a dulcet giggle. She's the new puppet on a string, the new plaything for the propaganda machine and she couldn't be happier, couldn't be lovelier.

And when she does see Elphie again, she feels everything. She's so happy to see her alive, she's so mad at her for leaving, she's so defensive because she's ashamed of the part she's played in it all, of being encouraging to the people of Oz.

She hates her role. She hates the people eating up lies about her Elphie. She hates herself for letting her need to be admired and adored, her fear of losing all of that, keep her from the one person she truly ever loved with all her heart.

That Diluc and Crepus are alike in a lot of ways and I get the impression that Crepus also lived vicariously through Diluc in terms of “I couldn’t be a knight so you go do that” even if he may have had some reservations with the Knights himself but wouldn’t wanna alienate them because of his kids or because of business reasons.

That Crepus and Varka have a begrudging mutual respect for each other but do not agree with each other’s tactics.

Crepus, like later Diluc, finds the knights inefficient. That he was working to bring down the Fatui in his own way secretly. There is some underground vigilante anti-Fatui group that Diluc later joined because he has contacts in Mond when he gets back.

Diluc is a kid and delluded into thinking the Knights are perfect and Crepus doesn’t wanna crush his dreams.

Then reality happens.

That Diluc has noticed some corruption already and has his reservations and annoyances. That that night was his final straw. That he’s relieved to be out of the Knights but feels like he let his father down but also has a weird feeling that he did the right thing by him.

And that he later learns more about the underground efforts and just how stupid the knights are being and that diplomacy doesn’t solve everything.

But he doesn’t wanna alienate them too much because of his begrudging respect for Kaeya.

And also he’s annoyed and slightly jealous that Kaeya took his position.

He secretly wishes Kaeya would leave but if he told Kaeya everything he knows it would destroy him. Or he just wouldn’t listen.

Or that Kaeya does know and wants to change things from the inside.

Or he stays because he thinks that’s what Crepus wanted and actually sees Diluc as disrespecting their father’s wishes.

Or Kaeya stays because the knights treated HIM well, and he doesn’t have any other family left. They ARE his family. His dad abandoned him and he doesn’t know where his mom is (if shes alive). If he has other siblings they’re probably working for the Order. His adoptive dad died and his adoptive brother views him as a pushover for staying perhaps.) Let’s also not forget that Kaeya was probably pressured into doing whatever he was forced to do as a kid as being an heir to the Abyss Order basically. He probably doesn’t know HOW to say no or stand up against institutional injustice. Anything is better than where he came from. So he mostly just distances himself from the Knights by hunting treasure hoarders for fun and gathering intel because his position is literally useless.

I also think Jean’s hands are tied because she’s also barely legal and has too much pressure and is probably going off some some handbook and can’t reorganize things too much to not piss of Varka when he gets back. Plus they’re short-staffed. It’s very likely Varka groomed Jean in some way to succeed him and just put way too much pressure on this kid so now all she knows is how to work. Yeah I don’t like Varka lol.

For Kaeya it’s like “don’t bite the hand that feeds”. Kaeya leaving the knights would lose him EVERYTHING and he cannot risk that. There’s also a real chance that Varka knows about his past and if he leaves, he would become a target due to him being potentially dangerous.

It’s just a big mess all around and Ragbros+Jean are dysfunctional adults that had unrealistic pressures put on them as kids.
