Is that just a few years ago police were defending neonazis and their right to protest under free speech.

Now of course there’s nuance to each of these situations. For example in the 2019 situation cops wanted to keep the peace and make sure nazis didn’t get out of hand/start shooting.

But cops have a hesitance to do any kind of policing with nazis, where with pro Palestine stuff they tend to come out swinging.
