Shen Tunan rushes to save Wei Ruolai.

There's gunshots (someone is saving WRL?).

Shen Tunan: Congyun, drive forward! Wei Ruolai is in danger!! Huang Congyun: No sir, only your safety matters to me!

Shen Tunan jumps out of the car to save Ruolai, HCY follows.

Shen Tunan (when he sees the dead bodies): Ruolai is not there...

Niu Chunmiao and Shen Jinzhen are the shooters, saving WRL.

Shen Tunan saw Jinzhen(?).

(So, Wei Ruolai has no idea that Shen Tunan begged Mr. Yu to save him and that Shen Tunan risked his life to go to the execution grounds to save him.... WRL thanks Shen Jinzhen and Niu Chunmiao for saving him and agrees to go to Jiangxi Soviet).

Shen Tunan did, indeed see Jinzhen and he knows for sure she's a communist. He looks so hurt that she lied to him QAQ. Jinzhen denies everything, of course.

Shen Tunan: Thank you for saving Wei Ruolai.

Shen Jinzhen arranges for WRL and Niu Chunmiao to evacuate, but they missed each other fuck.

Hongfang shop is exposed and Mr. Xu blows up the place...

Shen Tunan and Shen Jinzhen's confrontation. (these two actors are so good damn the emotions are supercharged).

Wei Ruolai is caught by the Axe Gang:

Ep 30 -> Shen Tunan drops of Shen Jinzhen in a gas station (lin qiaosong and his men are watching from the bushes).

Shen Tunan and Shen Jinzhen say their goodbyes.

Wei Ruolai's bus pass by and through the window Ruolai can see Shen Tunan and Shen Jinzhen hugging. AND GUESS WHAT Wei Ruolai's reaction is: Shen Xiansheng?!

His eyes are always automatically find his Xiansheng ah... tsk tsk

Shen Tunan leaves, and Lin Qiaosong and co attacke Shen Jinzhen. Shootout.

Wei Ruolai realizes there are people going to attack Shen Jinzhen and gets off the bus.

Shen Tunan hears gunshots and returns to save his sister (he's so cool damn it), he crashes the car into the gas station (the car explodes).

Shen Jinzhen is crying for her brother, Wei Ruolai and Niu Chunmiao have to drag her away. Shen Tunan is okay(?) I hope please please

Shen Jinzhen and Wei RUolai are crying (they're afraid Shen Tunan is dead).

Wei Ruolai: Xiansheng is a noble person, the heavens will protect him. Shen Jinzhen: I hope so.

Shen Jinzhen is crying because her brother was trying to protect her.

Poor Huang Congyun (I forgot this bro existed lol). He's worried and he's the one who tells Cishu that Shen Tunan is in the hospital, and that Shen Jinzhen and Wei RUolai are communists.

Shen Tunan is in the emergency room.

Niu Chunmiao's guy that she likes is dead, she's sad.

Ep. 31 -> Wei Ruolai and co are in Jiangxi, Wei Ruolai returns to his dad.

Wei Ruolai works as a small accountant in his village (not working for the Red Army's bank, no)

Wei Ruolai has flashbacks of his time with Shen Tunan (his brain is making tiktok edits of his beloved Xiansheng).

Life in Jiangxi: WRL is an accountant and teaches a girl (fang ling) to count; Shen Jinzhen works in the military (shooting guns etc); Niu Chunmiao's dad teaches her self defense(?).

Fang Ling died. WRL reflects on stuff and has a stronger resolve to join the Communists.

WRL joins the Red Army bank.

WRL: Someone... made me write a report (on your bank) once.

So... previously Shen Tunan wrote an essay on the encirclement of communists. The chairman read it, approves, and wants to send Shen Tunan to Jiangxi (to intercept the ore transfer or something). Actually Shen Tunan promised his wife he will stop doing politics and their family can move to England, but now...

Chairman: I'm helping Shen Tunan meet his darling sooner ah

Su Cishu is (obviously) angry because Shen Tunan is leaving.

Shen Tunan: In this life I'm destined to offer my life to the nation. Su Cishu: But you are my nation!

The song is different again?

Ep 32 -> Shen Tunan in the ferry spots his wife and daughter.

Su Cishu: You've pledged your life to the country. I've pledged my life to you. (seriously thats so romantic).

Su Cishu: Home is where you are.

Wei Ruolai gets the newspaper with Shen Tunan's obituary and shows it to Shen Jinzhen, the two of them cry and have flashbacks of Shen Tunan.

Shen Tunan and his family and Huang Congyun are in Jiangxi, Lin Qiaosong also goes there. Shen Tunan changes his name to Tu Nanshen.

Shen Tunan starts implementing stricter rules to catch communists and fight them through the economic field.

Shen Tunan: working hard to make counterfeit money and make the Soviet Bank lose credibility Wei Ruolai: Working hard to restore credibility and save the bank.

You know, every time I think this show can't get any gayer (and i think fuck this will be boring becuz they'll just talk about money and war and stuff i don't understand) a new gay line (Shenlai) pops out and I'm struck by how fucking gay and fucking sweet Shenlai is. It just hits me out of the blue.

Wei Ruolai tells Shen Jinzhen about the fake notes and he tells her this is an economic war, must be the Kuomintang who did it. AND THEN HE SAYS:

Wei Ruolai: If only Xiansheng was here. Shen Jinzhen: If he were here, you might have a headache. Wei Ruolai: I'd rather have him here and be troubled by him instead.

I'D RATHER HAVE HIM HERE AND BE TROUBLED BY HIM INSTEAD.

Okay Wei Ruolai, we all know you love him. Damn.

I'm giving myself a deadline to finally published that darn matmodean oneshot by the end of the month, even if I'm not happy with it (this ask serves as accountability for me, if it isn't on AO3 by 1.9.24 please everyone pelt me with rocks) - so I was looking at the snippets I wrote to see what can actually be edited and posted and isn't just bullet points and I sadly discovered that my favorite thing that I wrote isn't for the oneshot but for a longer AsmodeanLivesAU I don't think I mentioned, but I do want to describe it now because it got me excited again, sorry in advance this is long I hope you don't mind- this au has the same backstory of Mat&Asmodean hooking up in TSR and then Mat spending FoH jealous of both Rand and Asmodean. But Asmodean doesn't get killed at the end of FoH he just continues to chill by Rand's side, until in LoC Rand decides he needs to send Asmo somewhere else so that he won't get a chance to interact with Taim and the rest of the black tower. So Rand sends him to Mat and the band(bc the medallion protects Mat from the one power so it won't be too dangerous ). He tells Mat that Natael is a channeler but not that he is a forsaken, and that's enough to make Mat really dismayed. Rand doesn't know they hooked up so he doesn't realize how much this reveal affects Mat (<-this is the one scene from the au that I did write). I am pretty sure I planned for only Mat to learn that and not everyone, so the band&Aviendha&etc still think the gleeman is Rand's boytoy pillow friend, joining them for some reason. So basically Asmodean is with them on the way to Salidar, which in my plans included: the spider-man-pointing meme with Moghedien when they recognize each other, perhaps some gleeman vs. gleeman show?, Asmodean accidentally developing actual feelings for Mat and being jealous when Aran'gar dances with Mat (maybe Asmo trying to protect Mat?), Aviendha filling in the rest of the girls on the situation from her perspective, moggy spilling the beans about Asmo to the girls which leads to misunderstandings with Mat bc he doesn't know that I will need to reread the books some day to remember what other ideas I had, I probably wanted to plan a redemption arc for Asmodean. I also haven't read book 7+ so I never had a full plan, and unfortunately that's not going to happen anytime soon

the triumphant return of the Matmodean Anon!! thrilled to hear that you're working on a oneshot for it, godspeed and i look forward to reading it once it's ready to post! we will gather up our rocks in preparation but hopefully it won't come to that haha (also Felt, sometimes you just need the kick in the pants that public accountability for finishing a fic provides!)

and oooh, this Asmodean Lives AU is so intriguing, and also chock full of drama, mess, and miscommunication shenanigans. all the things any good AU needs! i'm cryingggg imagining the asmodean & moghedien spiderman pointing meme in this scenario djkjfg and then moghedien can't even make fun of asmodean being obsessed with mat seeing as she's obsessed with nynaeve, poor moggy. and thom would absolutely feel threatened by some other man showing up claiming to be rand's gleeman and would challenge him to a gleeman faceoff! and the scenario of the girls knowing "natael" is a forsaken and assuming mat knows too while mat in fact has no clue what's going on is a delight to picture. even if you never end up reading enough of the books to write this AU in full, it will live on in our hearts!

y/n would want to name it after her to honor her, saying she's the only good parent out of all four of their parents. Y/n would visit her grave after Hee proposes to her to let her know and thank her for raising such an amazing and wonderful man; visits her grave as well when she finds out she's pregnant even before telling Hee since she would have asked her for help on how to tell him if he was alive, and just telling her grave soothes her enough so she's ready to let Hee know.

Hoon would do that, and Hee would break down and like imagine if y/n was pregnant with a boy at the same time, and Hee just loses it and he can't keep the secret anymore and he lets it drop that he and y/n were gonna do the same thing with their son and name it after Hoon.

Their boys would be born like two weeks apart and I just imagine them both getting the Park genes and looking so alike, they would just run around pranking people pretending to be each other. Like Hee and y/n collect their kid from a birthday party at Hoon's house and they don't realize until they get home due to the little boy giggling in the backseat that Hee and Hoon's sons switched spots, and you brought Hoon's son home; meanwhile Hoon is none the wiser at his house since he still currently has like 20 kids waiting to be picked up, and had Hee not noticed the two would have gotten away with it too, at least until later that afternoon.

Hoon will be the PTA dad, like I just envision it, he's the president of the pta and talks Hee into being the vice president of the pta with him, all the mom's join the pta for them, the school has record numbers of pta involvement due to the president and vice president.

the way the first part made me cry so much because she really would do all of that and always tell heeseung how much of a mother she was to her as well so honoring her is the least she can do to show her gratitude and appreciation. every milestone they reach they'd spend at her grave just telling her about it and most of the time seung just can't get a word out so it's y/n doing the talking. right before he proprosed he went to visit her grave and "showed" her the ring (it's her own wedding bad incorporated in a new one) and he'd cry so much at the thought of her missing such important days but y/n always plans the visit to her grave in on their big days like the day of their wedding, the day they go home with the babies, graduation and so on.

AND YES. i think sunghoon would feel so honored because it'd just show him what he means to his two favorite people and how important he is to the point they'd name their child after him. heeyn decides to fo with the hoon part so they'd have a mini-hoonie running around at all times and it'd never fail to make sunghoon smile when he hears rhem call his nephew his nickname :(

Apart from that, the writting was ten out of ten. The fights were amazing!!! And I really wish we could get a tv series out of this because I pictured the whole school and it seems DREAMYYYYY! I can't stop myself from imagining cute dates between them... And the girls running away from Horus? Omg. They for sure know all the cool spots there, as confirmed by our queen Kaya. 

I just loved this chapter too much! Made me want to go back to school myself ahaha didn't you feel that? That scene where they are all dozing off and then someone picks up their phone is just a throw back to my days in school. It was really nice!

I'm cryingggg!! I just saw Once Upon a Snowman on Disney plus and it's beautifulll ahhh! It's only 13 minutes but it's so heartwarming. If you haven't seen it or heard of it, it's of Olaf from the second he was born to just before he meets Anna, Kristoff and Sven.

Here's a brief summary, if you don't want spoilers if you haven't watched it, don't read this bit: ↓

We open with, a few seconds into "Let it go" when Olaf was born, and then as Elsa lets go of her cape, it goes in Olaf pushes him down the mountain. He has a mini cute identity crisis and walks along the mountain. He sees Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna and as he approaches it, he hears Kristoff sing “Reindeers are better than people" from the barn. Just before Olaf opens the door Anna bangs the door open exactly like she did in Frozen as it's the same scene. An easter egg I didn't notice until now is that there's a statue of one of the tills outside the Oaken's shop. He goes into the shop and we see Oaken selling Anna's coronation gown for 55. Oaken likes Olaf and helps him find a nose but Olaf doesn't have any money but Oaken the “fuzzy man fear” as Olaf calls him, let's him off generously. The noses Olaf tries on after being told the last carrot was just sold (to Anna for Kristoff) are, a mini Arendelle flag, a ping pong aka a paddle ball, a snow globe, a glass bottle of some green liquid, a plunger, a comb (as a moustache lol), a live fish and then finally an old fashioned view master (like binoculars but you can add frames to make you see that scene, like virtual reality). Oaken tells Olaf it's summer and he puts in other pictures of Summer which we see in "In Summer", in Frozen to see and that's what triggers Olaf's love for summer. And as he discovers this, "In Summer" instrumental music plays 🥹 Seeing Olaf fall in love with summer, he gives him a “summer sausage” nose! Just seconds before Olaf leaves, we see Kristoff, Sven and Anna leave on the sled on their journey to the North mountain. Now Olaf is set to find his name out. But the sausage smell triggers the wolf and they cause him down cliffs. While Olaf's being chased, we see a tiny glimpse of Kristoff telling Anna “You got engaged to someone you just met that day?!”, a different angle of the scene when Kristoff recognises Wolves are nearby, and another smaller glimpse of Anna telling Sven “Get ready to jump, Sven!”. Falling down a cliff, the wolves run away but the baby wolf makes sad hungry noises which make Olaf give up his nose. And then here comes the best part of the short; The baby wolf licks him and snuggles Olaf before running into the sunrise then Olaf says “That felt just like a warm hug”. He then hears voices of young Elsa and Anna playing and Anna saying “Do you wanna build a snowman?/ Do the magic!”. And then the realisation 😭 “(Gasps) I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs”, all the whole "Do you want to build a snowman?" instrumental plays in the background. The most beautiful thing isn't just Olaf's realisation of who he is but right when the sun rises, Elsa finishes her song and has found who she is, in a way, transforming into her new gown. The final scene is Olaf walking down the snow covered forest seeing Kristoff and Anna. And we all know what happens from there!

I don't know why I didn't watch this before 😭😭 Indeed water does have memory. His memories consist of Elsa and Anna's too. All this Frozen content is making me love the entire thing so much more, and right when they're about to hit it's 10th anniversary! Fun fact, Olaf's birthday is the day after Elsa's coronation and is in the summer too! Speaking of the 10th anniversary, I expect something revealed or announced on the day cuz I'm hungry for moreee! ❄️
