Only recently being legalized because white entrepreneurs want to cash in

The criminalization of weed was never about health.

It was about control, fear, race, and money.

Imagine this:

You break up with someone who:

But society keeps saying:

“Oh come on, they’re fun at parties! They’ve been around forever!”

Meanwhile, a quiet, weird little stoner walks into your life like:

“Hey, I’m not perfect, but I mostly just chill, snack, vibe, and nap.”

Face the hypocrisy.

I slept and eaten something. I've also digested all my feelings on Cat after some talks with people. I think until people swallow some hard truths about being a man, the discussions around Kazui will always feel stilted to me. This includes me-

Admittedly due to my upbringing leaning more towards traditionally masculine I can't really relate to Mahiru's situation like that.

My upbringing wasn't really focused on honestly displaying my emotions but doing what was necessary in the moment despite them. The first thing I learned when young was regardless of my personal feelings on a matter I had and always should act in the best interest of those around me.

So, lines like

"My emotions are out of control, that’s inconvenient? I don’t care!"

Were always going to ring low to me in comparison to,

"Lie, until it gets better, follow the king of the masquerade. Since when have I ignored my feelings? It’s better to be a let down, than to be let down yourself."

Simply because the second is just truer to me. Because I understand what it feels like to think it's better to do something correctly in a dishonest way than put all your hopes into something and build up the courage to be candid just to still fail. When I was young and did that, regardless of the situation the repeated pattern would be,

"I'm going to ignore you said that and come back later. Hopefully when I do, you're in a better mood."

Or,

"Actually, I liked you better when you were lying for my benefit. I don't think I want to be around you now that you've said those things."

Q.08 Which do you prioritise between logic and feelings?

Kazui: I put my feelings first and it ended badly. So, I don’t want to act just based on feelings again.

Q.13 Who do you want to see right now?

Kazui: They won’t see me anymore.

A lot of friendships I've had have ended because I said something in favor of myself over the wants of that individual. Simply because when one keeps putting up an act, people love the performance more than the person.

The biggest kicker here is I'm afab, yet because of my upbringing, I have traits that would usually be viewed as toxically masculine. I should, on some level, be able to relate to Mahiru wanting to be able to openly express her feelings, have them viewed, and accepted regardless of how she comes off. However, I can't for the life of me wrap my mind around why someone would ever behave in that way outside of just going well that's how she is. Something that I can quite easily accept as a reasonable answer without needing further explanation because if being that way makes her happy and she's not hurting anyone, it doesn't need to make sense to me.

At the same time, I recognize not everyone has the luxury of behaving the way she does. Just going my feelings are inconvenient I don't care this is how I am whenever they feel like it. Some people are taught to bottle that shit up and start acting correctly. Some people are told that they can't control the actions of others, but they can control how they react, and if they can't control that, then the fool is them.

Some people are shown time after time that it doesn't matter what others do, it's their responsibility as the bigger person to be reasonable. That's what being an adult is, so you better learn it early.

Q.06 What would you say is the difference between adults and children?

Kazui: Responsibility. Adults can’t just do whatever they want.

I literally went to my Grandad's wake last month and when I went to the restroom with my grandma I honestly said yeah I just came in here to cry really, I don't gotta use it. She bluntly told me to do that at home like she did not in public near these people. My ass just laughed it off and went yeah, you're right and switched gears harder than someone who just passed their destination.

You're right I lost myself for a minute there. I mean even contemplating crying in a bathroom at a wake for my grandad, who just died of cancer on Father's Day, that I hadn't seen in years until today silly me displays such as that are better left for the privacy of one's own home. Whelp, back to being the emotional rock of this family. How are you handling things? How have you been?

This may sound abnormal to some, but it isn't in my family. Hell, my grandad was pretty much the same. I remember asking him on one I think it was Christmas at his house but know I was around six or seven something along the lines of hey you know my mother (his daughter) like whoops me and my older sister sometimes for no reason for hours on end what's up with that? The dude flat out told me stop doing shit to get beat or don't get caught doing stuff that would illicit that reaction.

He pulled the equivalent of skill issue and kid me has been lying ever since. Constantly everywhere in friendships, professional environments, with my family. Few people recognize that for some people lying can become so commonplace whether it be out of necessity or habit that being honest about anything turns into a struggle.

I even just lie to myself sometimes for fun just to see if I catch myself doing it- Which one would rightfully think you must know it's a lie and oh I do. Yet, I also know if I keep behaving in a certain way it will become the truth to someone. This lie could be someone else's reality if I commit hard enough. People don't really want to see the truth anyway, some will deny it regardless of how clearly it's stated. Because everyone has a lie, they would rather accept more than the truth of the matter.

No one is above wanting to see whatever they enjoy over and over again. Or to put it a different way,

"Make a favorite shape and love it."

I sincerely know if I'm jovial enough and don't cause trouble no one will ever ask what's going on. Because most people despite what they say don't really care about me as a person or my thoughts on matters concerning my life they just want to hear themselves talk about what I should be doing, about how my life is/was, if my experiences were good or bad from their perspective.

At this point, I severely doubt most know what it's like for a person to have to constantly keep themselves in check at all times. Never having the satisfaction of being able to say what's true or having others see them for who they really are instead of who that other person would like to see. The ideal that they've created on top of them or the lie the other has presented.

This person recognizing the truth is an inconvenience, they know good and well what happens when they open up, and that they'll only have themselves to blame if things go poorly.

"Am I a bad girl? Please don’t answer. What do you want to do? Please tell me." - "Let’s just do it, please smile?"

"Please tell me what I should do, feelings shrouded in lies will float away and disappear." - "The beating of this heart... see... it’s no longer about good and bad... it isn’t I realize the futility, but I still can’t help but dream."

Gender, sexuality, romantic orientation none of that matters anyone can get caught up in lies piling on and on. To the point of feeling crushed.

I have Barrett's Esophagus. Basically my stomach has sent so much acid into my esophagus that the cells are changing and they can eventually turn into cancer. Right now they aren't worried about it because it's early and we can keep an eye on it so it doesn't become cancerous. Add some extra supplements and I guess I'll be fine?

The kicker for this though is the fact that my maternal grandfather died from esophageal cancer that was caused by Barrett's. I asked if this can be genetic but I guess not. Just the reflux.

They also said that my stomach isn't emptying properly so guess who has to do a gastric emptying study? This guy.

also for neo mysterio, ock's master plan is to rat out a ton of crime organizations, literally cure cancer, and a whole bunch of other good advancements to clear their names while bypassing the red tape in the research field, then they all basically kinda retire? that's why beck and the others are all there, they all get a second chance and get their issues fixed. like max gets cured of his powers and such and they get official pardons from the gov for their good deeds and are left alone. humanitarians, deep down, ock was never evil?

This list also included designs and samples of brand new medical equipment that could make imaging and surgery that much more precise and safe. New advances in agriculture to help reduce the strain of hunger in the world were also released. It was not perfect, but certainly far better than what they currently had. Many helpful inventions from recyclers to high density solar generators, you name it, Otto released it for the world to have. For free. His life’s work, put out there for the masses. Adrian Toomes had been the test subject for this new cancer killing virus. And it had worked. Alexandria Beck was also listed as a human subject. Indeed, she had been suffering from breast cancer, but now that was a thing of the past. All Ock wanted in return for capturing these villains and providing these new medical breakthroughs? All he wanted was for his crew’s records to be expunged, and if they wished, it live under new identities away from their old lives. Ock would see to it that everyone would walk away happy. A small, small price to pay for saving untold future lives. He asked for no money, no recognition, no nothing. Just to be left alone once it was over. Or perhaps…. Become an Avenger instead? Were villains that much different from heroes with this break out of vigilante justice? It was not legal, going through and blackmailing all these crooks, paying off killers and stealing and smuggling materials. For years on end in secret. But it was worth it, wasn’t it? Needless to say, the UN agreed to his deal, and the world took a sigh of relief as so many were put behind bars or vanished back into the night from whence they came. The Avengers and Fantastic Four were…. thoroughly astounded and confused as to what exactly took place. He was a good guy? Did some dirty deeds, sure, but? All of this to simply help others? They were cautious, but with no sign of the Six ever returning, they let it go as truth. For now.”

flint basically goes back to his family finally with a clear name and money/resources to treat his daughter.

adrian is retired as a grandpa and cured of his cancer and such. he had retired before and was out of the game due to his illness but he secretly was helping ock for a while.

max is cured and settles down

chameleon gets his records purged and kinda disappears but is always friends/talking to beck.

rhino gets outta his suit and goes to retire with his wife.

and yeah. even hydro man and other villains who helped get benefits but idk if they all retire. they mostly calm down at least.

A/n: Sorry for being rather scares. This one shot has been what has been going on in my life. Part of my problem with writing of late. Been stressed and frustrated. Most of this is true beside the names. @jpat82 gave me the idea. I hope I will be getting back to normal.

It always seemed to happen to you. Sure you felt obligated to be a good friend. But when will you learn that, no matter how nice of a person you were, how good of a friend you were. It never matter to them to your own friends, family or even loved ones. They all seem to walk all over your kind caring demeanor. Never being able to stand up for yourself. Never stand up against your own friends. Wanting everyone to like you. If you did stand up to them or well try to. Even if it was a small comment one that turned the tables on them. When you took, ever little are Castec “joke” mean comment or rude criticism, you never say a words at those times. But if you did, oh they couldn’t take what they dished out, they thought you to be the worst, mean or horrible person. You would be the one to hurt their feelings. No matter how many time they hurt yours.

Suffering in silence. That was until you met Loki. He was great, he understood you. He had been there. Though when he finally snapped, it ended up in him trying to take over a small realm your realm. Though when he was redeemed and paid for his crimes. He stayed on Midgard. When he met you. He never understood why such a beautiful, sweet, kind soul like you got treated the way you did. He had half a mind to bring hel on Midgard when someone belittled you. He had to keep you safe. Even if it killed him. Loki had asked you to stop hanging out with some of your so called friends. Sure he didn’t have the right to tell you what you can or cannot do. He worried about you. He even tried helping you become more out spoken so to say. To stand up for yourself no matter what. If you lost a friend you would gain a new one. Learn from your mistakes.

So when you let friends stay with you. What they had told you was completely different then what they ended up doing to you. Asking you to live with you. Well it was more like pressuring you into saying yes. They had a million and one other friends they could have asked. Giving you their sad story about how the company they were rent from decided to try and evict all the lower income, and the ones that had locked in rates. Saying that no one else could take them in, they didn’t know what to do. Also telling you that they wouldn’t have their animals either. Now you were sitting there with two dogs that like to destroy your house the one you owned, that you sacrificed everything, worked two jobs to own.

A month ended up being another, then another. Promising you they would help around the house. Well that lasted about a month. You thought things were going well. Your house was cleans, the garage and shed cleaned out and re-organized things that you needed to take to the dump, went. They also had promised to help you finish painting your kitchen and bathroom. Help with small miner repairs. You did live in an older home. Well it was month four and you had yet to receive anymore help with the house. Utility bill seem to skyrocket what you would normally pay had tripled, and you were the one that paid for everything only once had you received money and it was only an eighth of what they owed you. Haven’t paid you in four months. Giving you every sad excuse. Like losing their jobs, only being able to find part time work. The boyfriend of your friend never seemed to work at all. Just slept all the time. Letting the dogs do what they wanted, like go to the bathroom in your home. Or not picking up the piles from their dogs outside.

This was about the time you told loki what was going on. He had just come back after being away for two months, on a mission in the Galaxy. He wanted you to come with him. He knew something was off when he came over. There was something off about the house, about your mood. Hell you even tried lying to him. Which you never did. Let alone you knew you would never get away with it, he was the god of lies after all. Even with that title he never once, nor could he ever lie to you. You were his heart, even if you didn’t believe that. You had been told, so many time by fools before him that you meant the world to them only resolved in heartbreak.

“Darling,” Loki sighed. “I thought they were only going to be staying with you a month?”

“I know loki, but-“ You were cute off, Loki raised his hand to stop you.

“No buts, my love. They haven’t even paid you.”

“They will, they are just struggling.” You tried to convince Loki or were you trying to convince yourself, you weren’t even sure.

“But your miserable. And now you are struggling to stay afloat in your own bills. And what about those two new Xbox one Systems. Those weren’t there when I was here last. They owe you, but they got those?”

“They got them from a friend who worked for Microsoft.” You half smiled as you thought about that. Never really thought much of it, they never really told you the hole story on those. They had posted it on social media that’s how you found out and when you asked they deleted the post. Loki raised an eyebrow at you. “All right I’ll talk to them.” You sighed trying to avoid Loki lecturing you.

“If you need help I’m more then willing to help you. You know that right.” Loki smirked at you. Hint of mischief in his eyes.

Now that Loki was back you seemed to have been spending less time at home. And more time with Loki at the compound. Which didn’t bother the rest of the team, they loved having you their. You kept Loki in line. Hell Tony even offed to give you the job as Loki’s babysitter. It had been about two weeks. You were out getting coffee with Loki when you got a text from the people staying with you.

Stella: Wanna go to the mall later when you get back? I want to walk around since it’s raining outside. If Loki isn’t going to take you up your time all day that is. Lol

Y/n: I can’t today I have to go into work.

Which wasn’t really a lie, but you really didn’t feel like going when they didn’t have the money, nor did you.

Stella: I forgot to tell you that my uncle has liver cancer

You felt horrible, it was sudden. You told loki, as he was curious on who was texting you.

Stella: My aunt is going to pick me up Saturday and we are going to drive over to New Jersey.

Y/n: Oh no I’m sorry.

It was Saturday and you had over heard her boyfriend, Friday night say something about Vegas. You never thought anything about it. You were about to head over to see Loki. When a few things about that day started to not add up. Like why would her uncle need makeup wrapped in Birthday paper. The other thing was one of her friends that you were friends with, she was having her thirtieth birthday in Vegas. Which you remember month back Stella saying something about wanting to go. You started to realize she had lied to you. Then the kicker was that she posted a picture of her at the airport, stating she was going to Vegas. She had blocked you from the post. It was another friend that told you. As they didn’t block them from seeing the post. To say that you were beyond pissed, when you saw Loki was an understatement.

“Love, what’s wrong?” Loki asked. At this point you were about to let anyone have it. Unfortunately for Loki it was him. You laid it out for him, vented to him. He sat there eyes dark as his Blood began to boil. No one does this to you. Friend or not. He will make them suffer. After you were done.

“Sorry Loki. I didn’t mean to vent to you like that. Le alone go on a tirade.” You let out a long sigh.

“There is no need to be sorry love, that is what I’m here for. For you to vent to.” Loki smiled at you. Never once telling you I told you so. Or you should have listened to me. “You are to sweet my love. People like to take that kind sweet person and use them. Because they think can, and that sweet kind hearted person get used. Knowing that you wouldn’t lash out.”

Loki was right. It was true every time you bend over backwards for people, you never got anything in return. Unlike Loki who always did things for you. You sniffled, you felt the tears fall. Throwing yourself into Loki’s tailored suited chest. Loki didn’t hesitate wrapping his arms around you. Rubbing your back. His voice was gentle as he soothed you. Loki knew what he was going to do. He knew what they looked like. He meet them before. You had finally calm down. Shooting your so called friend a text.

Y/n: We need to talk, when you get back from “Vegas”

You waited but never heard from her, nor had you seen the boyfriend. He seemed to show up only take the dogs out then would disappear. Never once acknowledging you. Loki in the other hand had about enough. After you fell asleep on the couch. Loki used his magic to start moving all of their things. He was not kind enough to pack their stuff. No, they can do that outside, where their will find their belongings. And for good Measure he even made a few thing disappear like the two game Systems that they did not need, specially if they owed you money.

He fenced in the dog outside as well. Making sure they were safe but not in the house. They can wait for their owner to come and not destroy more then what they had. Loki fixes everything that those two pain in the ass dogs did. Even fixed the thing that were promised to be done for you during their stay. Loki then moved on to his next thing. Loki then disappear himself, soon finding himself in the worst place possible, Vegas. He did not see the fun in the place it was two hot and noisy, it seemed to be noisier then New York whether that was true or not he really wanted to get out of there soon.

Finding your so called friend, partying it up. Without a word he stocked over to her. Glaring at her as he approached. When she turned around she practically jumped. The look on his face put fear in her eyes. Even if her face didn’t show it. A slight smirk crossed his lips. Before she could say a thing, he teleported her and himself back to your house, on the front lawn where the rest of her stuff was. Now on to the pathetic male. In a blink of an eye he was gone and back with the boyfriend.

“What the hell. You can’t just.” She hissed, crossing her arms.

“No,” Loki growled stocking towards her. He toward over her. “You do not get the right to speak to me. You both are going to listen and listen well. Do not test me. I will not hesitate to do what I have done before. You know who I am and what I am capable of doing to you pathetic mortals.” Loki seethed. He was not going to let them get away with this.

“The two of you are going to leave, you are going to pack up your own stuff within the hour. Then you will be gone. No longer in y/n’s life. She let you into her home. She allowed you both, to walk all over her. And still cared for you. She is struggling with bills, because she is not get the money that is owed to her.” He sneered, his finger in their faces. Shaming them. As he continued.

“But yet you can get two new brain washing systems, and a nice getaway to Vegas. While lying to her, using her kind heart, pulling on those strings by telling her you Uncle was dying. That is low even for me. And I’ve killed people for fun.” Loki never taking a moment as he chewed them out.

“And furthermore, you will giver her the money that is owed to her. I do believe it is nine hundred after four months of living here. Which is a rip-off I think she should charge you more then that. And you are luck I don’t make you pay more. You both have one hour, to come up with this money then be gone. If not well, you will not like what I will do. But I do hope you don’t make it in time. I have been rather bored. Oh one more thing, you will also apologize to her, to her face.” Smirking, and with that he misted out, back to you. Taking the place of his hologram that you currently had your head resting on his lap.

What woke you was a knock on the door, Loki had fallen “asleep”. You got up to answer it. To your surprise you friend had shoved money at you. Mumbled some kind of an apology and scurried off with her boyfriend. You noticed the moving truck outside as they hurried in. You turned to look at loki who was still asleep. You walked over to him. Kissing his cheek, you had a feeling loki had something to do with that. It had only been two hours and how she got back from Vegas that fast would take an act of a god.

“What was that for love?” Loki purred as he popped an eye open to look at you.

“Thank you.” You kissed his cheek again.

“For?” He smirked.

“For helping me with them.” You kissed him again only this time loki gave you his own lips.

“Think nothing of it my love. I would do anything for you.”

Dark Klaus Fic Summary/Synopsis

So this is going to be long and Weird and I’m writing fast so I’m sorry about the quality, rip.  Anyway, basically it’s an exploration of Klaus’s powers and how he might cause an apocalypse.  It starts the night of the rave with Luther, after Klaus dies for the first time, when Klaus tells Ben that he died and came back.  Then it jumps to the main story, which is canon-divergent from S1E10 onward, and specifically splits off at the bowling alley where the commission agents are shooting at them.  Klaus is shot.  He gets in the way of Luther and Diego when they’re going to attack Vanya.  Vanya and Allison have their moment.  The shooters come.  Vanya protects them, and then finishes the concert and passes out, the world still intact.  But Klaus is still shot--he dies.  But he’ll come back, right?

Yes.  But because the bullet has to work it’s way out of his body first, he doesn’t come back before they autopsy him and bury him.  He comes back in his casket--which is iron, because [spoilers] daddy dearest suspected this power and specified that he be burried in an iron casket.  So there’s Klaus, buried alive.

Meanwhile the family is trying to deal with everything.  Pogo is dead, Grace is offline (though Five is trying to fix her), Klaus is dead, and Vanya is unconscious.  The house gets rebuilt, and they all use it as a sort of home base, sticking close.  Five is obsessive.  Tensions run high a lot.  It’s not good.

Then there’s Ben.  He’s still sticking around, and he’s not quite sure why.  Five figures out that the cold spot in the house is Ben and they develop a sort of twenty questions system, with yes or no answers.  And then, one day... Ben feels Klaus come back, his powers (which always emanate a spectral energy, when he’s alive and not high) coming back online.  And Ben is like FUCK and tries to get Five to help, but Five just isn’t asking the right questions.  He can’t figure it out.  So Klaus is stuck in the ground for... a while.  

He talks to god a lot, and comes back a lot, and dies a lot.  Like a LOT.  It’s gruesome and not fun, and also god is an ass who won’t let him see Dave.  But eventually, he manages to astral project out of his casket, scaring the shit out of Diego.  The family realizes that Klaus is still alive and dig him out, and they have their brother back, hooray!

Cue Klaus realizing that he’s... a little different now.  He has better control of his powers, but his temperature is colder and his body is different and he feels divorced from life.  He doesn’t know what to make of that yet.

And then... enter Daniel.  The reincarnation of Dave.  He’s been having dreams about Klaus calling him Dave for a year now (coinciding with the date that klaus travelled back in time to vietnam) and he’s finally like fuck it, I’m talking to this guy I keep dreaming about.  And so he does.  And it’s weird, because Klaus is different than his dreams but he’s also the same and Klaus is like thirty/thirty-one but Dave is only twenty-two, and if god brought him back why did she do it like this?

Klaus meanwhile is having nightmares.  He has a really bad one where his powers go to MAX and he basically opens a portal into the afterlife through his own body, and the ghosts on the other side are crowding through trying to get out.  The house nearly freezes.  It’s bad.  So the family (and Dave) starts looking through what’s left of Dad’s notebooks, finding all kinds of shit.  Like stuff about Reggie’s theories about all the kids and the mausoleum and stuff.  Klaus finds one about contingencies about what to do if Klaus went off the rails.  He steals it and shows no one.

From there it’s a slow slide off the deep end.  He and Dave have a fight.  Klaus has a lot of nightmares and a few meltdowns, and he starts to feel this distant pain and he knows he’s going to die again, he feels it coming, but he doesn’t do anything to stop it.  He doesn’t want to fight anymore.  

But he doesn’t die.  The others realize something is up--it’s his appendix, and they save his life.  Diego realizes something is wrong and brings his concerns to Five, who is just like ‘I’ll look into it’.  

Klaus takes a few days off, and then he approaches Diego like I know you still go out on vigilante missions.  And Diego is like SO?  And Klaus is like take me with you.  Me and Ben.  And because Five is preoccupied and Diego thinks having a purpose might help Klaus, he lets him.  But then he realizes that Klaus has no regard for his own life, like he LETS himself get in the way of attacks and dies and comes back.  And Diego doesn’t know what to do.

Ben, though... Ben has figured out about Dad’s journal.  And he’s like Klaus, tell the others or I will.  And Klaus is like nah, and stops corporealizing Ben to talk to the others.  So Ben goes back to twenty questions with Five, and this is the second time that someone has come to Five with concerns about Klaus and he’s starting to put the pieces together.  Klaus is causing a cold spot on the map, one that he suspects might turn into an ice age as ghosts cross over from the other side, more ghosts than living people, the channel between the afterlife and the human world wide open.  Klaus will literally freeze the world in a cold, awful death.

So he calls a family meeting and they all go, including Klaus and Dave, and they figure out that Klaus’s powers are like... a rot, a cancer, inside of him.  The very first time he died, it took root.  And the kicker?  He died as a baby.  Stillbirth.  He’s always been like this.  It just accellerated after the casket incident.  So they have dear old dad to thank for that.

So they’re trying to figure out something to do.  And Five is like okay... what if I use time travel to rewind your body back before you first died?  And the family is like that is... not ideal.  They have no idea what that will do to his mental state if he’s trapped as an infant.  So they make a compromise--they reverse him in time to before his second death, an OD that happened when he was 19.  And he’s back, babey!  Just a little colder than average, a little touch of death, you know how it is.  And he and Dave are now only three years apart, look how that worked out.

Yes! I don't know if I'll ever return to that one, but the premise is that Law has a twin sister named Order who survived with him. She's basically him but sassier. "If everything goes according to plan-" "did you remember the part where we get Vengence Happy and go off the rails?" "We need to follow the plan" "I need to punch him in his smug ass face."

The kicker is that with the Ope-Ope no Mi they can switch bodies at will. This is important because they are co-captains, but avoid being seen in the same place at the same time. The world thinks there's one person who just switches gender constantly.

This story was going to be the origin of TheAliveVersionOf!Lami. As per the Tumblr meme. She survived via some very experimental procedures that gave cancer that fights the Amberlead. But she has to keep the cancer without it killing her. So she is constantly popping pills and injecting drugs to keep her body functioning. Law and Order don't know she's alive until she shows up in Dressrossa.

The thing I *am* recycling is the Drug-Drug Fruit. Order has a Drug Logia, she can turn into smoke, liquid, or pills. Is it overpowered? Yes. But it's showing up in Demon of Flevance.

Sidenote: I came up with this concept way before Law was turned into a girl in cannon. So that scene was extra hype for me.

Death.

Once upon a time March 18th was my favorite day of the year. Now it’s the day that my favorite Great Aunt went to skies but this time not on a plane.

I never have really known my dads family except her. She was always right around the corner. She was always there when I needed camping gear. She showed me Shrek for the first time and helped me learn my love of Dreamworks movies. She showed me unconditional love when I told her I was a lesbian. She was the first person not to treat me different when I came out. She is the only reason I know my birth father. She is the only reason I know my little sisters. She was the rock I didn’t know I had.

Now she’s gone. And I feel very very lost. I feel like I deserve every bit of pain she has ever had to deal with. She was the last person that deserved to die so young. My Great Aunt passed away a warrior. A Cancer ass kicker. My Aunt was in every way one of the best women I had ever gotten the pleasure to know.

Today was the first time I scream cried in public. No one understands what kind of pain it takes for me to get to that point. As I sit here at 1 AM crying my eyes out unable to speak, hardly able to take a breath I think of everything I wanted to tell her when I saw her.

I begged my pos mother to let me go see her the last two days and she told me “it’s not important, you can see her on Friday the 22nd”. I will never get the opportunity to tell her how much I love her. I will never be able to thank her for taking me to meet my father, sisters, aunt, and Grandmother. I will never be able to hold her hand and tell her how amazing she is. I will never be able to watch her tell a story and see her tiny hands fly in the air with excitement. I will never be able to forgive myself for not seeing her one last time when I knew I had to. I will never forgive my piece of fucking shit mother for telling me it wasn’t important.

As much as I want to say I will be okay, this death has me ultimately fucked up. Although I will never see her again, I will feel her in my heart.

On March 18th the universe decided to take one of the brightest stars back to the skies.
