I'm kind of emotional about Samis touch because I'm thinking of when Roman gave Jey that almost paternal headscratch post HIAC and just left Jey to cry in the ring. Or post backlash when he clutched him close because Jey saved the match. It was always with a cost. This time, though, Sami touches him so gently, tell Jey he's proud just because this time Jey chose himself.

Sami never expected anything in return for his support of Jey - he's always understood the decisions Jey made and was compassionate all the way through (even going as far as telling Jey that he would understand if he chose to stay with Roman). Honestly, his love for Jey is so selfless it just kills me every time I start thinking about it!!!

My favorite thing to do after I finished a show is to go back to the first few episodes and rewatch them. To see the characters, I've just spent hours and hours getting to know and see grow, at their first appearance. They're so different, they've changed so much.

victoria is so so lovely and talented (the word "soulful" is excellent <3 <3 <3), @arthurwilde and i have regularly discussed admiration for her, and she's in my reverent category of "robbed of an emmy nomination" with some other ladies that i love (she deserved recognition for the bent-neck lady, one of the most devastating and, well, haunting single episodes of television. there was this list a few days ago and i can't even argue with the bent-neck lady and chicanery being in those first two spots. it really does stand apart from the rest of the series), and she was wonderful and heartbreaking in bly manor and delightfully unhinged in you. in every interview i've read with her, she is such a thoughtful and sensitive soul. i hope she gets more work, she deserves it!
