Okay, I don’t know if this is something that will work for everyone, or I’m just neurodivergent, but I was getting my grocery list ready, and I want to show you all how I prep my grocery lists… (and keep track of keeping my home clean.) Now I should preface that, ironically, I was inspired by a grocery store’s bathroom cleaning chart and just worked on the design.

So I used a fun chore notepad paper as a base, but you can use whatever you are comfortable with. I keep this in a dry erase sleeve for ease of access.

So I initially wrote down everything I had in the apartment, or things I used the most, and left room for last minute entries. Then when one of those things run out, or I notice it getting low, I circle it. I only erase it once I’ve written it down/selected it on my current-I’m-walking-out-the-door-with-this grocery list. This has helped so much with my grocery shopping. And a side note, I did something similar with my chore list. (When I remember to write down the dates, oops,) but I keep this on my fridge so I will be like “Oop, haven’t done this in a while, I should get on that.” It’s not a perfect system, but it has helped sooooo much with my ADHD. Note my laundry system on this list.

Grocery shopping, even online is a nightmare. It's like when somebody asks what do you want for Christmas" and you forget everything you've ever desired, except I have to do it every 2 weeks or so. "Hey what food do you want us to bring you" I don't fuckign. know. I've never eaten in my life.

I love how they have this little chore chart- I can imagine all of them having a favorite chore to do and getting kind of sad when the wheel doesn't pick them to do it. But I'm kind of confused over what Inkling's chore is? Is it gardening?

From what I can tell, the jobs are:

Gub cleaning

Oiling the joints of the Octopod

Watering the garden pod

Hammering out dents

Mopping

Washing dishes (on that note I headcannon that Shellington probably uses gloves to avoid touching all that wet food)

Tightening bolts? Or just general repairs

I'm not sure how many people pay attention to this, but Astarions tent area (inside and out) is not just blood splattered and mildly disorganized:

1) Dirty rags, blood and wine spills, rugs and pillows a bit haphazard, no proper bedding inside, empty blood bank jars everywhere, sleeps on a wooden palette rather than a bed roll

But the actual tent (yes I zoomed in and stared heavily at it shdjghfhdj)

It dirty.

It's SPLATTERED with dried mud and dirt, and I also noticed in comparison to his companions his tent is fairly small? And also kinda limp like he didn't wanna bother putting it up.

I bet this man hates putting together and tearing down camp SO MUCH that he just does the bare minimum and then trashes the place anyway. He's not going to voluntarily do laundry, he's not gonna clean the canvas, he's just here to put his shit together in some barely passable way.

And sure the exterior shows how he tries to decorate it in a way that's presentable, but he's decorating with dirty shit he won't scrub 😂

People, myself included to some degree, have chatted about why he is messy trauma wise but honestly I'm coming to the realization that he probably was, even in life, surrounded by servants to some degree.

He gives the air of being from money

I bet this little fool has never in his life had to wash his own clothes or clean a room. Even as a slave, when he was in Cazadors mansion he got trotted between the bunks where he only had minimal space to rest, (and a bunch of siblings he could probably manipulate into washing his socks for him if the servants didn't do it automatically ) and the Boudoir where he was to Look Pretty and Bend Over as requested

He never scrubbed floors in his life

Man's has never once cleaned a toilet

Astarion is living evidence that you can be severely neglected and abused while ALSO being 'spoiled' (in the sense that he never got to develop life skills bc the servants did it for him)

This really ties in with his personality and I think it's a nice touch. Cause what does he focus on keeping clean? HIM. He can do his hair, body washed, clothing IMPECCABLE. Man kept a shirt together for over a century without a single stain on it. But his SPACE ? His THINGS? neglected to the extreme

But yeah anyway, his tent is DIRTY and I'm pretty sure was originally a much more vibrant color too. Zoom in next time you get to camp you'll see what I mean

OK, so cannonically in the books, Bilbo stayed in Rivendell after the fellowship left on their quest and didn't leave till Elrond and Co decided to bounce and head to the Grey Havens. Since we don't any evidence to the contrary, one can presume this is the same in the movies and as Elrond is the only one we see after all the other elves leave, he and Bilbo are the only ones left and the concept of the the Lord of Rivendale and a Hobbit being the middle earth equivalent of housemates is incredible funny to me.

I feel like Donnie rarely learns his lessons about how his behavior affects people. And I think that’s a lot because he’s extremely babied by his family when it comes to emotions. Not in the “protecting his feeling”way of babying but in the sense he’s not trusted in emotional situations. Mikey tried to teach him in the episode “Breaking Purple” but it didn’t really work. Again because he kind of being babied about it. Mikey’s whole “seminar” came off as extremely condescending. What really changed Donnie’s mind was seeing Sheldon in danger and a legitimate heart to heart. I know I’m kinda just rambling at this point but I just don’t think telling him he’s wrong works because he just takes it as an insult rather than constructive criticism.

mmmm soft disagree. i dont really think they baby him at all. there are several instances of raph shouting at him or even swatting him, and they're very quick to call him out when he does things that actually upset or anger them (+ yeah, he mostly learns his lessons through SEEING the consequences of his bad decisions. in smart lair shelldon was hacked because he programmed him to favor him in the first place, in mind meld he comes face to face with how much he does actually miss and need his family as they are-- and i've talked extensively about donnie's gifts and how people are too harsh to him there and seen several posts about it already so im not gonna yap about it again). they are comedically rude to each other about these things, and donnie's tendency to shirk responsibility is contradicted by his swiftness to self-correct in literally every other way. just because he doesn't verbally acknowledge it or jokes around it doesn't mean he doesn't do it.

doctor feelings is designed to be condescending and i think that's just how mikey is, really. he'd do it to leo or raph too, and he does act similar to draxum who is a grown man and his psuedo-father-- i think its more reflective of mikey as a person than how he sees donnie. when donnie is actually being alarmingly hurtful to other people, it's the result of him not feeling heard; that's usually what it always is, with the exception of breaking purple i suppose. i cannot pathologize that outside of him being a neurotic teen parent who doesn't know how to act because of his own daddy issues lmao

i kind of ship McCabe with Brian and Krejjh, in the sense that i think McCabe would live in their basement and refer to them as their roommates but would also tag along for all of their date nights

To put it simply, Kimi thought this entire idea was stupid. He's a grown man who absolutely does not need a chore chart, even if his stubborn, starry eyed, roommate thinks they do. On top of this, the chart doesn’t need to be decorated, covered in various stickers and maybe even glitter, if he looks closely enough. And it certainly doesn’t need to be hung up in the direct middle of their refrigerator, surrounded by all of their actually important schedules, calendars, and lists, as if it's of equal importance.

Generally, he doesn’t make much of a fuss about the chart, reservations about it aside, but it’s his week to do the dishes and that little fact is currently making him want to die. Okay, that’s a bit dramatic, but he really really does not want to. He stares at the chart, like it’ll make the reality of it change, glaring at the giant Haas magnet holding it up as if it has personally offended him by doing so. “Ollie…” Kimi says, the whine evident in his voice as his eyes flit over to the Brit who is currently typing away at his laptop, likely answering emails despite being on summer break and their promises to each other to cut out work for it.
