Let’s start with the captains:

Kirk- probably? But he doesn’t always use it proper. Still better than most.

Picard- this man’s posture becomes a plank as soon as the word is mentioned. Yes he knows, yes it because he slept around as a student, no he will not talk about it.

Sisko- 100% knows and knows how to use it too. I think he loves giving head.

Katheryn- of course.

Archer- doubtful. He claims to know but he goes into every sexual encounter as well prepared as he goes into his role as captain or any battle situation or ANY contact with aliens or- I’ll stop.

Saru- no. Man’s didn’t even know his body was capable of surviving a major fever.

Michael- Of. Course.

Freeman- yes, but.

◦ When the discovery heard that Captain Pike long time SO (or as he told Michael ‘I have a Lady, she means the world to me and I had to pull a lot of strings to bring her over from my ship to here.”) was coming over from the Enterprise, they were expecting… not you.

◦ This got told to your face multiple times, especially by Tilly, not even questioning why she was helping carry your stuff to the captains quarters until she was halfway back to her own quarters and then she was like ‘…wait’

◦ Tilly’s your favourite, tbh.

◦ As Paul Staments once said when the entire ship realised you were Pike’s SO:

“it’s nothing against you, it’s just that you’re… you and Captain Pike is Captain Pike. When you think of who Captain Pike’s Lady would be, you think of someone very… Pikey. Not… you.”

◦ (If you imagine it in Anthony Rapp’s voice it makes total sense and doesn’t sound bitchy at all)

◦ In the crews defence, at no point did you or Pike ever attempt to correct them or let them know who exactly Pikes SO was.

◦ They just knew you came over from the Enterprise, that’s it.

◦ No one’s exactly sure what you do, like one moment you’re working with the ship’s Botanists and they’re like ‘oh okay’, and then the next moment you’re spelunking down a turbolift shute becuase Tilly’s gotten stuck in one.

◦ Even Spock not sure what you do. Do you know how hard it is to confuse a Vulcan?

◦ it’s actually Not that hard but now’s NOT THE TIME

◦ Then people starting seeing the two of you interact, usually in the form of you complaining as Pike took your second, third, it’s only my fifth if you’re going by binary numbers, caffeinated drink from you in the mess hall, shooting you a smile and a comment about how he doesn’t need his crew members all wired up.

◦ And because of well, everything about you (your lack of height, seemingly permanent babyface, etc etc), everyone just assumed that maybe you were a ensign of some sort that he felt a kinship too and was attempting to mentor through the command training program, because clearly you’re a ensign right?

◦ …Right?

◦ Oh, you’re a commander?

◦ *censored*

◦ You being Pike’s SO isn’t even a remote possibility, which is weird because you would think that they would suspect something, considering you’ve left the CAPTAINS QUARTERS IN DAYLIGHT HOURS IN FRONT OF OTHER CREW MEMBERs

◦ Also that one time you sat on Pikes lap during a party one time but everyone thought it was because you were tipsy and nobody noticed the way his hand was resting super high on your thigh and you could get away with it because ???

◦ It’s not until the one MINOR explosion that lands you in medbay and when the Captain hears about you getting some minor shrapnel to the leg and suddenly he’s running to medbay, pale as a ghost, and suddenly people realize this isn’t some weird mentor/mentee relationship but rather some weird romantic relationship.

◦ I mean, they didn’t realize something until you started getting into a very loud argument with him.

(it’s not uncommon for you to start arguments you’re a very argumentative person)

anyone passing by medbay that day saw you on the bed, yelling at him, while he stood there, hands on his hips, dumb smirk on his face like he’s turned on by it.

◦ He kinda is, not going to lie.

◦ Then Someone, yelled something about inches, and that’s when it clicked all across the ship.

◦ The man goes into double digits let’s be reasonable here.

◦ Jett Reno’s been suspicious of you two since the beginning, and it was pretty much confirmed for her one night when she ran into you and Pike stumbling out of his ready room with slightly messy clothes, giggling like teenagers, but it wasn’t her place to say

◦ Which again, begs the question- you?

◦ I mean he’s Captain Pike, he’s like the poster Boy Scout of Starfleet.

◦ You can usually be found scowling in the background somewhere, clutching your beloved caffeinated drink, a scowl on your face, usually grumbling about idiots as you diffuse yet another crisis.

◦ you also don’t like people, really.

Okay you don’t like MOST people, besides Pike, and that’s… questionable most days.

Pike said something about having some tramua from childhood you still need to resolve but idk

◦ Also you drink hot sauce on its own who does that.

So while you could usually be counting on for helping out the various groups and units on the ship, the only person you really opened up too on Discovery was Pike.

How you and Pike became a couple no one, not even Pike, are not really sure.

Okay Pike knows how but his mother raised him to be a gentleman and a gentleman doesn’t discuss dirty laundry.

Unless it’s with Spock and they were really drunk on Klingon Blood Wine and he felt so guilty about it afterwords he swore Spock to secrecy.

Spock does tells it to Kirk and Bones years later because he doesn’t understand why you and Pike were a thing really.

They don’t either tbh

So it’s a understatement when theres a unspoken rule formed shortly after you arrived was that no one got between you and your food.

If someone needed you for something and you happened to be eating during that moment, they could wait.

Even Pike knew not to mess with you unless it was like the entire crew/universe was at stake (and if that was the case he’d get you to get your food to go because in Pike’s words ‘you get bitey when you’re Hangry.’)

◦ That is until some jackass in engineering made Tilly cry over a minor mistake she made, and the day you hear about it, you’re having lunch.

A lunch you’ve been talking about looking forward for six weeks because Pike got his hands on some Bajorian argendi sandwiches for the crew, and it’s not everyday that you get bajorian argendi sandwiches.

Sometimes Pike will make one for you but that’s only after you do that one thing for him, and the last time Chris even thought about asking you to that one thing, it gave Spock a month long migraine so it’s been a hot moment for the two of you.

◦ You have a vanilla latte, a banjorian argendi sandwich on mapa bread, and a new bottle of hot sauce in front of you.

◦ The one thing that would make this day perfect is if you had someone’s you know what to look forward too later but THATS NOT THE POINT

◦ But then Tilly comes into the mess hall, trying and failing to hide her tears right as you’re pouring hot sauce on your argendi sandwich.

◦ You see this and everyone else goes quiet when with a sigh, you push your sandwich away and you walk over to her, and ask if she’s okay and you take her for a walk to talk about it.

◦ When asked about it, Tilly just smiles and makes a joke about how she underestimated Pike’s… girlfriend? Wife? Life partner?

◦ Again what are you?

◦ Jett Reno later sees you dressing down the crew member that made Tilly cry but again, not her place to say anything, she says, as she retells it though with glee.

Random headcanon #73

After Pike's death Leonard and Jim both receive a letter from him.

In Jim's, Pike tells him that he is proud of him and he couldn't imagine a better captain for the Enterprise. He also tells him, he isn't standing in his father's shadow, even if people may say otherwise. Jim Kirk is writing his own story in Starfleet history and it's a great one so far. But what moves Jim the most is "I never imagined that in the beginning, but you are like the son to me I never had. I love you and hope you get to live a long, happy life"

In Leonard's, Pike firstly tells him how happy he is that Jim has such a great best friend that cares greatly for Jim. Tells him, how important the doctor is not only to Jim but the whole crew. He compliments Leonard at how brave he is and at the end Pike tells him as well "I am proud of you".

Christopher Pike has ADHD and his hyperfixation is almost Always about Horses

Look what I found, saved but not published XD It's a part of a fic idea I had (but probably will never write because time). Basically Leonard travels into the past (by accident of course) and goes to the Academy where he befriends George Kirk and Christopher Pike (that really wasn't his intention). Many problems follow like Len trying hard to not tell people he is from the future, people falling in love with him, having to be a cadet again....

Since I really like this snippet why not publishing it? :D

Leonard Mccoy was an responsible adult, who knew when he had enough alcohol. Or at least that's what the doctor told himself as he took another sip from the punch. It tasted really good, better than at the partys Jim had dragged him to.

But honestly, who could blame him if he was a little tipsy? Not everybody can deal easily with being send to the past by accident. Meeting the famous George Kirk, who is also the father of his best friend, and Admiral Pike as they were still at the Academy and somehow ended up being friends with both of them. But still Leonard struggled to call Pike Christopher or Chris. The worst of all however was that he had to write exams again and there the hardest part was not to strangle his professor sometimes. He couldn't just come up with a cure that was actually invented 10 years from now. Little things like that could change the whole timeline. If Mccoy thought the Academy with Jim was hard this was definitely worse.

"Are you okay Leonard? It seems everything you are doing here is drinking."

Bones looked up at the sound of the familiar voice. Pike stood beside him, looking a bit concerned.

"Yeah, everything's alright Pike." the doctor answered trying to sound sober.

"Chris." he was automatically corrected. "And I don't belive you."

Leonard just shrugged and wanted to look away as his eyes suddenly fell on the lips of the not-yet-Admiral. They looked soft. Mccoy bit his lip. Now he was sure that he's drunk. He didn't have another explanation for his sudden urge to kiss the other man. Or rather it was easier to explain it that way.

So quickly Leonard looked away from Pike,who started to study him curiously.

"It's quite late already. Maybe we should head back to our dorm." the blonde then suggested.

Mccoy nodded and followed Pike out of the ballroom. But as soon as they were outside Chris pushed the doctor against a wall. Leonard gasped surprised and looked wide eyed at Pike. Christopher hesitated but then he actually kissed Bones.

Leonard was of course shocked, still he found himself relaxing into the kiss. Again he blamed the alcohol. Alcohol is actually what he tasted mostly. Though there was also something else. A taste the doctor couldn't really describe,still it was what made him wanting more.

One of his hands founds its way into Pikes hair,while the blondes hand stroked his sides, causing goosebumps. Leonard moaned in anticipation as Chris lightly bit his bottom lip.

"More" was suddenly everything Mccoy is able to think.

"Hey guys what... Oh my god!"

Pike abruptly jerked away:"George?!"

"I can't belive this!"

Kirk looked angry as he walked up to the other two. But his anger seemed to be only directed at Chris.

Meanwhile Leonard felt really dizzy. In a bad way. He leaned against a wall.

"Oh damn..." he whispered.

Still George and Chris heard him and now looked concerned at their friend.

"Hey Lenny are you okay?" George asked worried.

Leonard wasn't able to answer in words. Instead he threw up on George.

TOS spoilers, tw for talk of sexual assault. 

Okay it seems silly warning for spoilers on a series older than I am but I know Discovery is some peoples’ first Trek series so, with that out of the way: 

I was sharing a lot of uh, strong feelings/opinions with my fiancee on Christopher Pike and TOS and part of my feelings involves, well, the events of the pilot episodes. 

It’s a case of something very much a product of its time and brings a whole new perspective when viewed by a modern audience and that is what happened to Pike during those episodes. 

He was kidnapped and imprisoned by the Talosians in a menagerie of sapient species and subjected to their strong telepathic (and empathic) illusions and influences. With the sole purpose being to try and coerce/force him into having sex and thus, reproducing with another captive, Vina so that the Talosians could enslave their offspring and force them to rebuild their war-torn planet. 

Pike eventually sad fate and being returned here as a ‘mercy’ by Spock so he can live some illusion of a happy life has always made me uncomfortable and that’s because, again, from a modern perspective this is so... yikes. 

Go over what they did for a moment. What their intent was. The psychological impacts that would have on someone. Being used like that. It’s attempted rape, y’all. That is literally what it is, no matter how you try to slice it. Pike was forcibly taken, subjected to illusions and numerous times attempts were made to get him to have sex with Vina. 

We never get an insight into how that affected Pike in the long run (again, product of its time) but by the events of Discovery this has already happened. Pike has already experienced this. I don’t know if we’ll get into insight into this event in future episodes, but I hope if we do it’s handled with more tact and realism and not something to chortle at b/c Pike is male. Given how rape was approached and treated with Ash Tyler, my hopes are high there. 

But yes this is why I’m taking issue with people putting words and actions into Pike’s mouth over his comment on no longer being at war (it was about not treating everyone as an enemy and having a ‘guilty until proven innocent’ attitude, not about people getting over their very real trauma.). Especially in regards to acting like he’d make light of Tyler’s personal trauma. Acting like he’s ‘lol chill’ over Tyler being RAPED is gross. He doesn’t know about that and even if you have only watched Discovery it’s pretty obvious he’s not the kind of man to make light of rape or mock a rape victim. 

Especially if they go over what happened on Talos IV with a more respectful tone.

Alright, new Headcanon: Back when Keegan was a wee lad his hunger for books was so insanely insatiable that he read every single book he could get his hands on. Fiction, Non fiction, Horror, Sci-Fi, fantasy, the damn phone book and dictionary. And when his big sis got the Twilight book series he devoured with much the same enthusiasm he did every other novel he came across. He loved them so much he insisted they go see the movies. And they did. Now I am thinking about wee Keegan and his big sis bonding over the series. :,) Reading the books and watching the movies together.

Yes!!!). After all this goes down with minimal disaster (I mean no one goes unscathed but still), Tilly finds out that Ash has a crush on the bridge — Christopher Pike, no less. Random headcannon #55

Christopher Pike was a confident man. He had went on several dangerous missions, stayed calm where others would have panicked. But right now he was a really nervous man, to the amusement of his own boyfriend.

In two days was Christmas and the crew of the Enterprise had managed to get shore leave on earth. So of course Leonard had decided to drive home to Georgia, taking Pike with him.

It would be the first time Chris would meet McCoy's family.

Sure he had talked with Leonard's mother and daughter a few times via video chat, but never for long.

The Admiral wondered what kind of image the two had of him. What did Leonard tell them when Pike himself hadn't been there? What did they tell the rest of the McCoy family?

"You couldn't find a bigger one,huh?" Leonard asked half laughing as he saw the gigantic plush pony Christopher had bought for Joanna.

"I wanted to have a gift for her! Not for Christmas but like a first meeting gift!" the Admiral argued, "And you told me she likes horses."

Leonard's face softened and he walked the few steps over to Pike, wrapping his arms around the older man.

"This is honestly very sweet of you." the doctor stated, "I'm sure Jo will appreciate it. But believe me when I say she already likes you without you giving her any gifts."

At this Chris smiled, relieved but still a bit nervous.

So teasingly Leonard added:"Though I guess, I can be glad you didn't get her a real pony."

"Come on Leo, you know that ponys aren't considered a pet and therefore wouldn't be allowed in the shuttle to Georgia." Pike replied without thinking about it.

Half shocked, half amused Leonard looked at his partner. "You actually considered it!"

Sheepishly Chris looked away and scratched his neck.

Now the doctor couldn't help but laugh.

When he calmed down again, however, he looked at the clock and said:"Okay,we should go now before we miss our shuttle."

Chris nooded and went to get his jacket. He nearly missed Leonard's added "Oh, and since it was your idea and we don't have a bag big enough you carry the pony."

The next day there was a picture everywhere on the internet,which showed Admiral Pike sitting in a shuttle with a big plush pony on his lap that nearly covered his whole face. What one could see from his expression was a weird mix of annoyance and nervousness. Beside him sat Doctor McCoy looking very amused.

When Jim Kirk saw this picture he laughed,saved the picture and then laughed again.
