What program do you use for your edits? And can you give us a crash course on how to use it? I'm kinda stupid so it'd help a lot

I use two programs mainly! Photopea for gifs and psds && ibis paint X for making my edits!

CRASHCOURSE(?):

okay so idk rlly how to ‘crashcourse’ ibis paint x since it’s rlly easy to use but here’s the basics uu rlly need to know for editing in that app.

It only lets you add one image at a time. unlike other websites/apps that allow uu to import multiple photos at a time, ibis paint only allows u to import one! With this is mind you want to be careful on what you click cuz if you click the wrong thing it takes up more time!!

GIFS DO NOT WORK!! I repeat, GIFs do NOT work!! Trust me, I failed miserably trying to add GIFs into the app the first time I used it. Do not try to do it, it’s very time consuming! Unless you’d rather figure it out, then be my guest!

you may see edits all over with nice gradient patterns and think “wow, that looks great I wanna try that”. It is, but you’ll need the apps premium purchase which is a monthly pay thing. BUT THERE IS A SOLUTION. You can use the clipping button and put a color in. After that you can mess around with the opacity and blending mode of the color! example:

She can literally vlog her morning routine with her bed hair and pyjama’s and still would get thousands of likes. The popularity of her vlogs opened the doors for her to design and release her first own clothing line.

Blazed And Glazed - literally one of my favorite youtube channels rn. Macy is a fashion and thrifting youtuber who really doesn’t give a single fuck, and I really love her for it. She also has an incredibly different and unique style that really stands out among other fashion youtubers, and her production and editing is uncharacteristically good for such a small channel.

BlueprintDYI - a charming and energetic DYI/sewing channel, I like Angelina a lot, she has a wonderful and charismatic personality and was one of the people who really pushed me to try sewing myself.

halfsoybean - I only recently started watching this channel, so I haven’t formed an opinion yet, but I like people who sew a lot of cool stuff and give good tutorials.

Karina Gomez - a plus size fashion/thrifting youtuber who shares my point of view that clothing have no need to be flattering or slimming or whatever, you wear what you want and that’s just that. Karina is really a great person to have on your feed and her fashion sense is very fresh and unique. Also just, follow more fat people, diversify your feeds. 

This Might Get - i actually haven’t really watched a lot of the content, but I am subscribed, mostly because I really enjoyed the This Might Get show and wanted to show support. It’s a podcast channel, and I’m incredibly behind on all my podcasts, but Grace and Mamrie have a great energy and if you enjoy them, you’ll probably enjoy this as well.

Aquatilis - some of the most amazing underwater cinematography of invertebrates you can ever find, trust me, I’ve looked. 

History Pop - it’s from the same people who do sci show and crashcourse, it’s good, there’s only a couple pilot episodes though.

Morgan Donner - Morgan does historical sewing and also is just incredibly crafty and a pleasure to watch, even if you aren’t really into historical sewing (like me).

The Kitchen & Jorn Show - this is another channel from people who left buzzfeed, it’s just started, so I have yet to make a judgement on whether it’s good or not. But theoretically, I love watching queer women and I love watching fat women and I love watching queer fat women, so this should be good for me.

Watcher Podcasts - currently on break, but it’s the only podcast I am up to date on and that should tell you something. If you like buzzfeed unsolved and/or worth it, you’ll probably enjoy watcher, which is a independent company started by ryan, shane and steven from buzzfeed because buzzfeed sucks (the main channel is super active but there’s a lot of people subscribed so it doesn’t make this list).

Today was a surprise day off, and it went well! (Labs and tutorials don’t run for the first week of classes, I imagine it’s to do with course coordination and people dropping / swapping sections / trying to swarm the campus store for supplies and all that jazz.) 

I slept in, having decided I wanted to do that- though I was pondering trying to get a handle on sleeptraining myself again- sort of like the oversized toddler who spent a month of winter break going to bed at like, four to five in the morning. Putting myself into bed physically at ten kind of helps, and I imagine after this weekend I’ll be so exhausted I’ll crashcourse reset anyways. But I still got everything I wanted to do done!

Got half of the Calculus pre-lab work done, following what we covered in class.

Finished the Chemistry pre-lab quiz.

Finished the Physics pre-lab work for lab #1.

Finished the Physics pre-lab work for lab #4.

Partially filled out Chemistry paperwork. 

And, since I make it a routine to start homework by checking our online assignments area (as there’s no announcements or e-mail reminders):

Finished a Biology surprise primer for some bonus marks!

Finished a Biology pre-lecture assignment.

Got 31% of a Physics chapter assignment done, following what we had covered in class. 

And in general, for house-keeping purposes:

Picked up a lab notebook for Chemistry.

Picked up the lab manual for Chemistry. 

Got a spiral bound notebook for scrap notes.

Drafted an e-mail to send to the print shop after the lab tomorrow.

Set up my to-do list for tomorrow, and cleaned up what I had finished off of it. 

Tomorrow I’ve got a surprise four hour gap since, again, labs and tuts don’t run first week- so I’m going to:

Pick up my Biology lab manual.

Might visit the stationary store as a treat. Girls can have little a stationary as a treat. :^)
