Once Upon a Studio (Series) Season One; Episode Four: Big Bad Wolf Daddy 2
Info: It’s been nearly 23 years later since the Big Bad Wolf crashed the House of Mouse with his mind blowing performance, and now he’s back at Disney studio to perform his classic which made Scat Cat jealous and declared a war!
Characters that would be in this episode: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Thomas O’Malley, Big Bad Wolf, Goofy, Max Goof, Mortimer Mouse, Daisy Duck, the Bimbettes, Beast, Belle, Gaston, Minnie Mouse, Mirabel Madrigal, Scat Cat, Alan-a-Dale and the Three Little Pigs (properly more characters since this is inspired by the House of Mouse - Big Bad Wolf Daddy)
Note: I'm planning to do some once upon a studio series as everyone wants to see if they can lend a hand for me by likes, comments and reblogs their ideas and create arts if they want!
A throwback from House of Mouse, y’all hear me!!!

Summary: A dive into the characters' feelings at the end of Chain of Iron.
Part 3 : Matthew Fairchild (Part 1 , Part 2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matthew kept sneaking sidelong glances at Cordelia as the train whizzed by, dimly registering the indistinct blurs of the world outside the window of their carriage.
He was torn between feeling concern for Cordelia and anger at James. Raziel, the love he felt towards his parabatai was overwhelming, but when acted like this, he felt as if he barely knew him. How could he not see? How could he hurt Daisy so cruelly, when now, above any other time, he needed to be there for her? It was obvious that she was barely holding herself together after the events of the day, badly shaken from the stunning revelation that Lilith had given her. And, in a manner that was simultaneously surprising and unsurprising, she blamed herself and thought herself a fool for believing that she could be a hero.
He had expected James to support her through this tough time. Matthew remembered the way James had rushed to her, remembered how he had noticed with a sinking feeling in his chest the way he had embraced her as if almost desperate with the desire to keep her safe within his arms. He had thought that James had finally come to the realization of how much he loved her, of how beautiful Daisy was in every sense of the word. And yet, he had done what he did, had welcomed Grace into his life with open arms, as if without a care for Daisy’s feelings.
Then again, he could not quite blame him; he had heard stories, knew how intensely and fiercely Herondales loved, and how they did so only once. It was a hard truth for Daisy to bear, but bear she must.
Even though he had professed his feelings for her, he knew he didn’t deserve someone as lovely as Cordelia, not when his hands, which shook whenever he went without alcohol for too long, were covered in his little sister’s blood. Maybe another Matthew could have been good enough for her, one who hadn’t done what he had on that fateful day, one who had chosen to place his trust in his family instead of believing the words of a sharp-tongued bully who knew exactly where to hit to cause the most pain. That Matthew would have been a doting older brother to a girl who would be the loveliest person to ever exist in his eyes, and the happiness that shined in him would not have been something fake.
He, however, was someone who had murdered his sibling, someone who needed alcohol to keep up with the charming persona he displayed to everyone. All he could do now was try. Try to be there for Cordelia. If a friend was what she needed, then a friend he would be. If he felt any hope for something more, he would squash it down and bundle it up deep inside his heart so that she wouldn’t notice, and maybe, just maybe, she would start to smile again by the end of their journey.

Mickey & Minnie’s Candy Cane Express
Thomas Kinkade was a life-long admirer of Walt Disney and the characters he created. While Thom re-created many of his favorite stories of Walt’s on canvas, he also envisioned classic Disney characters set within his own traditional images. For this painting, the holiday lights sparkle and twinkle. Brilliant white snow glistens as some of the classic Disney characters prepare to embark on a festive journey aboard the Candy Cane Express.
Tumblr media
In this scene, Pluto is carrying a gift bag for Minnie Mouse. Before the two prepare to board the Candy Cane Express, the Train Conductor, Mickey Mouse, warmly greets them. Goofy strolls toward the platform to board the train, carefully carrying wrapped packages across the snow. Morty runs over to help Goofy hoping to be paid with a candy cane from Goofy’s back pocket. His brother, Ferdie, is ordering hot chocolate across the road. There, Horace is manning the hot chocolate booth. As Scrooge looks on driving down the road, Huey hurries over to help Dewey bring hot chocolate to Louie, Uncle Donald Duck and Daisy Duck who are already on the train. Meanwhile, Clarabelle Cow has disembarked from the train. She has obtained her bags from Chip and Dale on the luggage trolley. Finally, a Disney Villain, Pete, is the burly engineer.

Donald And Daisy – A Duck Day Afternoon
Tumblr media
ART NOTES
Thomas Kinkade was a life-long admirer of Walt Disney and the wonderful characters he created. In collaboration with Disney, Thomas Kinkade Studios has created the Friendship Moments, a collection of art featuring favorite characters and their best friends painted in beautiful Kinkade settings.
Thomas Kinkade Studios presents the second painting in the Friendship Moments, Donald and Daisy – A Duck Day Afternoon, where the bright sunshine highlights the coastal adventures of Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and some of their dearest friends.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie join Uncle Donald and Daisy for the perfect selfie commemorating their family trip to the beach. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are enjoying a rousing game of volleyball on the beach with Mickey’s nephews. Pluto and Goofy play Frisbee, while Scrooge McDuck uses his radar detector to find buried treasure in the beach sand.
KEY POINTS
Donald and Daisy – A Duck Day Afternoon is the second Limited Edition Art release in the Thomas Kinkade Studios Friendship Moments. The first is Mickey and Minnie Lighthouse Cove.
Although Donald Duck and Daisy Duck have been featured in several paintings from the Thomas Kinkade Studios Disney Dreams Collection, this is the first artwork in which they are the central characters.
Donald Duck first appeared in the 1934 cartoon The Wise Little Hen, and Daisy Duck was introduced six years later in the 1940 cartoon Mr. Duck Steps Out.
Chip and Dale look as if they want to spoil the selfie, but the photobombing seagull beats them to it.
Do you see the whale playing off the coast?
Can you name Mickey Mouse’s twin nephews?

Page 2: Up Front & Personal (to the best of my knowledge none of these photos are from Instagram) Jude Law goes grocery shopping in London, Shia LaBeouf and his dog, Helena Bonham Carter sports an ugly-looking scratch on her face while walking in London
Page 3: Joshua Jackson has flabby man boobs, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi cleans up after her dog in L.A., Linda Perry has her hands full
Page 4: Fed up with being humiliated Caitlyn Jenner has issued a blistering ultimatum to young galpal and fellow sex-swapper Sophia Hutchins: stop bringing your lovers to my home or we’re done, singer Noah Cyrus the little sister of Miley Cyrus says during her childhood she was targeted by trolls who ragged on her looks and made her so sad
Page 5: Ryan Seacrest’s shocking appearance on American Idol has friends fearing the workaholic media mogul is pushing himself into an early grave
Page 6: Meghan Markle is trashing her popular sister-in-law Duchess Kate Middleton with a series of humiliating public insults and behind-the-scenes barbs branding the future queen an uptight backbiting insincere cold fish who refuses to share the limelight
Page 7: Renegade royals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have gotten another soft deal -- they get 11 years to repay the $2.9 million British taxpayers used to fix up their Frogmore Cottage home in England
Page 8: Valerie Bertinelli was just 19 when she had a hot-and-heavy fling with filmmaker Steven Spielberg who was nearly twice her age
Page 9: Angelina Jolie is cheering the current media mauling of Ellen DeGeneres because it feeds her craving for revenge against the backstabbing talk queen -- Angie has long held a grudge against Ellen for the way she took Jennifer Aniston’s side when Angie first hooked up with Brad Pitt in 2005, Married at First Sight stars Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner changed their minds about their newborn son’s name right after the little guy’s arrival -- the couple welcomed a baby boy May 13 and decided to call him Hendrix instead of their original choice of Hayes

Series One - Episode Six
Tumblr media
Episode Six of Seven is upon us but things don’t look like they are wrapping up any time soon. Many plot points are still dangling and becoming more intricate and it’s difficult to see how this will all be resolved within roughly 110 minutes. But now is not the time for thinking too carefully or rationally about things or else you’d never get through a whole episode of Downton without having a nervous breakdown.
Tumblr media
Never knowingly under-cliched, Downton opens with a rabble of unruly northern commoners showing little capacity for nuanced political thought. In the middle of it all is a fascinated Sybil and frankly alarmed Branson. For a fan of Marx, Branson seems a little yellow at the realities of the political coal face whilst Sybil is ready to canvass the whole of the Yorkshire Dales if need be much to the horror of Lord Grantham. Despite the fact that Sybil makes it fairly clear that she wanted to be at the count, Robert heaps blame onto Branson for his daughter’s actions in a move that displays the very misogyny that Sybil is presumably keen to eradicate. Despite the “brouhaha”, Sybil bluffs her way into the count thereby dragging the “Irish radical” back into Robert’s ire.
Tumblr media
King Julian has clearly been watching too much North and South and has decided to pursue the trope of ‘woman obtains laughably small head wound and collapses prompting romantic enlightenment in one or more other characters’. Upon Sybil’s return Robert predictably hits the roof despite Sybil and Mary’s protestations. Branson is left looking forlorn by the car, declaring that he is “a socialist but not a lunatic” and the rest of us wonder, why is it always so dark in Ripon?
Tumblr media
Trouble is also brewing downstairs as Carson’s mystery letter almost makes him late for dinner. Lord Flincher’s contacts have been in touch regarding Mary’s entanglement with Turkish cultural attache Kamal. Cora maintains that “sometimes to deny these things is to throw paraffin onto the flames”: she has clearly been watching Tati Westbrook and has taken notes. Violet takes all this in surprisingly well and manages the social cover up and wistfully thinks about knocking off the Turkish ambassador, presumably using a different modus operandi than Mary used for the cultural attache but this is Downton Abbey, born of King Julian’s kaleidoscopic imagination so nothing is ever really ruled out as too bizarre a plot point.
Tumblr media
William’s mother is introduced and at this late hour in the series, she will surely be dead before we can ever hope to form some kind of emotional connection with her and she can even obtain a face. William states that “there are no lies in our family” which of course means that the Mason family is an absolute hotbed of deception. None of Julian’s delicate foreshadowing techniques are not lost on me. With scant regard for medical ethics, Violet, Cora and Mary disagree about whether to inform William of his mother’s declining health. Mary eventually caves and hints that William should take a couple of days off showing a hitherto unseen streak of empathy.
Tumblr media
The only character appearing to have anything near a nice time is Edith who bags herself Sir Anthony “any port in a storm” Strallan. Strallan drifts up the drive in his open Rolls Royce to a decidedly disinterested Mary but a very available Edith. One thing leads to another and before you can blink, Strallan is taking Edith for a spin, turning the steering wheel far too much as he does and making quips about burgeoning geopolitical tensions in Europe. The prospect of a concert in York can only mean that marriage for Edith is moments away. Just a shame for Edith that she’s in an ITV period drama and that clearly is not going to happen.
Tumblr media
Winegate rumbles on with Bates slinging the first shot this episode, making a thinly veiled reference to Thomas’ political leanings and their potential correlation to the knicking of the odd bottle of red. Bates insists he doesn’t want anyone to lose their job which seems an odd thought to hold considering that all of this behaviour up to this point has hinted that he wants Thomas to have his comeuppance. In response to Bate’s apparent false threat, Thomas and O’Brein double down on their plotting this time drawing Daisy into their meddling. Carson looks unconvinced by the suggestion that Bates has been “handling the cellar key”. After the world’s shortest interrogation, Carson goes full Poirot (although the suggestion that he is even a little bit Belgian would probably send old Charlie into a spin) and brings in O’Brein, Daisy and Thomas to send Bates up the river. Fortunately for Bates, Daisy is clearly not cut out for a life on the dark side and later caves exonerating him.
Tumblr media
But because John Bates is John Bates, his innocence doesn’t last long and he somewhat unnecessarily confesses that he was imprisoned as a thief. For whatever reason, Bates is in self-destruct mode. He is determined to paint himself in the worst light and refuse the love that is offered him, sort of like an Edwardian Remus Lupin. Later in Thomas’ usual smoking spot, we learn that two years have apparently passed since Bates arrival as Anna and Bates almost kiss to the accompaniment of suitably mournful strings. Nuance is not really Downton’s strong suit.
Romantic declaration of the moment
Tumblr media
It turns out that all that Matthew had to do to win Mary’s favour was punch another man in the face. Suitably awkward dialogue precedes THE KISS as a nation rolls its eyes whilst Matthew and Mary crack on. Matthew makes swift work of things and proposes to Mary. Say what you like about Cousin Matthew, he is efficient.
Expressive eyebrow of the week
Tumblr media
Only one contender for me this week and its Robert and his (over)reaction to Sybil’s trip to Ripon. If lasers had been invented, they would have been beaming out of his eyes at this point.
Wait, what?
“My problem is you!” I have lots of time for Dan Stevens but this was an appalling go at a tough guy. Sorry. Either that or it was brilliant acting, showing just how wet Matthew actually is even when he is defending the honour of a fair maiden. Bravo.
“I don’t know if I would have had the strength mentally or physically to carry a corpse the length of this house” Watching Violet do this would be worth the cost of the licence fee alone.
“I hope you go into politics, it’s a fine ambition”: Sybil seems determined to assign all of her father’s staff other jobs.
“We can’t have him assassinated, I suppose” Oh again, another potentially brilliant spin off lives and dies in a moment.
“Anna, you’re here to watch, not participate” Why? Why would you bring another member to staff to watch the dressing down of another? Some of the workplace practices in Downton leave much to be desired.
“Everyone goes down the aisle with half the story hidden” Turns out that some home truths are still as applicable in the twenty first century as they were in the twentieth.
“Why are all your causes so steeped in gloom?” You just know that Sybil would be Vegan if she were a millennial.
In other news, the dog finally lifted its head off the library floor. Hurrah!
