it's so hard explaining how i imagine the dynamics of luke cage, danny rand and jessica jones

a) it's important that at some point they've had some weirdass romance pentagon with matt murdock and peter parker and misty knight (who had something with colleen). ahem.

b) lukedannyjess is wholesome bc it's the world where all three of them are happy. usually the three of them raising dani cage

c) lukedanny is good because THIS is a real example of best friends to lovers.

d) lukejess is good because it's canon, and they make each other better people and i just love them so much

e) dannyjess gets overlooked a lot, part of which is because of the fact that danny really didn't like jess when luke first brought her around, but they're since cleared that up. but the narrative potential of luke being injured and falling in love with the partner of the man you're in love with has a lot of hgnnnngnggh good plot to it

f) dannymisty, where lukedannyjess does NOT happen. though in this timeline, danny definitely had feelings for luke at some point, can't convince me otherwise. but in this timeline, we get lucy rand, who CANONICALLY ends up marrying dani cage in a timeline where they both exist

04/07/2024: Dani Cage

Another thing I drew on July 4th was this pic of Danielle Cage a.k.a Captain America... Hold up what?!

Yes! In another Universe Danielle Cage the Daughter of Luke Cage (a.k.a Power Man Hero for Hire) grows up to become the New Captain America. Although In this universe Dani has grown up in more ways than one 😏.

In her recent endeavours, Dani's Shield has shrunk or maybe she only had a Smaller shield to hand? Either way who is flinging Balls at her? All will be revealed on Wednesday.

Fun fact! You know that room that Romeo was keeping Kaito in? The one with the big cages?

The file name for these backgrounds calls them the "auctionhall"

And given those cages are big enough to fit a human, either Sinostra occasionally sells anomalies in what is definitely not a Darkwick approved business, or there's some human trafficking going on in Sinostra. Which I find hilarious. Who do you think's buying other students? My money's on the Frostheim and maybe Mortkranken students. Frostheim can afford it and Mortkranken need bodies volunteers for Yuri's experiments.

Also that means "sold to [character]" is a valid scenario for a fanfic if you're into ~the classics~ kekw

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to myself for getting back into art!

Remake of this from 5 years ago. Felt like it needed a remake and a brand new rebrand.

Basically, everything is the same but I added Starr as Tanya to parallel Paulina as Mileena; and yes she’s on another sketchbook because my first one ran out of room. 

I screwed up big time on Dani’s lips. Sorry.
