Got hit up by a funny scammer on Insta. The account seems legit and the other stuff that they are doing is pretty cool (funny reels, a book about ADHD, relationship advice, whatever). So I'll probably keep following them and just, like, mute their messages. But here's the story:

Got a message right away that was like "can I give you a reading? I really like your energy!"

I told them I couldn't pay for a reading, but they still offered, which was cool. So I went with it, because that's just the kind of person I am. Since all they wanted was a picture of my palm and my birthday (both easily accessible only anyway) I figured whatthehell why not? The reading was funny in a nonsense way EXCEPT for the bit about how I have "dark spirits and I need to make sacrifices to the ancestors to remove the blockage so that they don't effect the next generation." I said thanks and was about to sign off, but then they got really insistent that I do something right now about the dark spirits.

Idk. I kind of like my dark spirits. They've been with me for a long time. Better not to piss them off, y'know? I like them more than internet randos, anyway.
