Rose also celebrated her eighteenth birthday in Tartosa which was a joy for Larissa and Gideon. Gideon was glad to see both of his children as adults though the birthday reminded him of his own age while Larissa was disappointed she could no longer admit to anyone in her new town that she was her daughter’s mother. She was just her aging husband’s far younger wife. The real trouble faced by the Scott family was that Rose had began courting a local nobleman’s son named John Laurent and it was very unclear where he stood on vampires. 

While the Scott family dealt with their own troubles, Millicent Mayne had her sixth birthday and her hair lightened to a more blue color as opposed the the green it was initially though Elinor figured that it could change over time. 

Anthony turned 35 with little fuss in the home.

When the cold hearted Prince of Fire meets sweet little sunsine, The King of Winter, everything changes.

Authors note: that’s the first BL story I have ever written in my life. I hope you would enjoy it. It’s not a long story it’s divided in six parts. There’s no Y/N here. The story is about Hyunjin and Felix. I was inspired by one TikTok I saw in winter.

“Woah, so much snow.” The younger man said, as he looked through the window of their dark carriage. “It looks so cool!”

“It’s just snow IN.” The other man rolled his eyes. “Nothing special.”

“It looks special to me, Binnie.” IN snapped at the older one.

“Leave the kid alone, Bin. He’s seeing snow for the first time in his short life.” Hyunjin said calmly, looking through the window. “Besides, the snow here looks really beautiful. I wish I could paint the view now.”

“But we don’t have time. We are already late, remember?” Han interrupted the conversation. “We have to atte…”

“Yeah, yeah I know, I know.” Hyunjin rolled his eyes. “Stop being so dramatic, Han. It’s just a meeting.”

“It is NOT ‘JUST’ a meeting, Hyunjin. It’s the first meeting in decades since… since the war! It should be the most important thing for you!”

“It is, it is.” Hyunjin sighed. “But calm down, my friend. Your panicking won’t help.” Han was about to say something once again, but he couldn’t do it, as they entered the borders of the city.

“Ah, here we finally arrived.” Said Binnie. “I hate carriages.”

“Let’s see what they want from us.” Was the last thing Hyunjin said before the carriage stopped in front of the great, white palace.

The four men left the carriage and stood in front of the large door. All of them were mesmerized by the view of the building. The palace was all white and made of marble with gold ornaments that formed into fancy shapes.

The door suddenly opened, which made Han flinch a little. The four men were greeted by the cold eyes of a man that stood between the doors. He looked at them with his one eyebrow raised.

“Ah, yes. The Prince of Fire and his entourage.” He spoke sarcastically. His voice was as cold as his sight. He sounded as if he didn’t care at all. He was intimidating. At least for Han, who felt a little uneasy, looking at the man. “What are you waiting for? The king is waiting.” Said the man and let the four others enter the palace.

“Warm greetings.” Binnie commented under his breath, rolling his eyes as they went after the mysterious man who led them straight to the meeting room.

They entered a room, which also was white and marble as everything inside the palace. The room was quite big, with large windows, showing a perfect view of the winter landscape behind it. In the middle of the room there was a long, dark-wood table, with a bunch of chairs with red cushions.

One of the seats in the middle was taken by a not that tall man, clothed in white. He had a golden crown on his head. He looked friendly and… soft. At least that was what Hyunjin had in mind when he saw him for the first time.

His face was friendly-looking. Hyunjin immediately thought about painting the man. He was just too perfect to resist it. He looked almost like a true sculpture made by one of his favorite artists. Hyunjin swallowed slightly as he was looking at the man, mesmerized by his looks.

“Welcome.” The man in white spoke. His deep voice didn’t match the cute face. Didn’t at all. Hyunjin was stunned, so as his companions. How come someone who looked that sweet and angelic had such a deep voice? “Nice to meet you, I’m Lee Felix, The King of The Winter Kingdom.” The man stood up and bowed a little, showing respect towards Hyunjin and his entourage. “Please, take your seats.” His little smile was addicting and it cost Hyunjin a lot to focus.

The four men took their seats and the room became quiet. Nobody actually knew how to start the conversation. They were looking into one another for quite a while. The silence started to be overwhelming for both of the sides. Felix was nervous and Hyunjin was curious. But both of them didn’t want to show it. And no one even wanted to start.

“Are you going to finally start?” The man, who led the guests into the meeting room grunted. “I bet you didn’t come here to just look each other into the eyes.”

“Ah, yes Minho. Thank you for your reminder.” Felix said and smiled at his guests. He felt a little awkward. “I am really glad that you guys came here to meet me. How was your trip?”

“It was good.” Was all Hyunjin said, looking deeply into Felix’s face. Suddenly Felix felt really small. The Prince of Fire Kingdom had something in himself that made everyone around uneasy, intimidating. With no exceptions.

“A-are you hungry perhaps?” Felix stuttered.

“My king, the dinner will be served later.” Seungmin reminded him.

“Ah, yes, yes…” Felix cleared his throat. “You are probably wondering why I invited you here…” He tried to continue the conversation.

“Well, yes. In fact I am dying for the explanation, Felix.” Hyunjin said nonchalantly, tilting his head to the side and the way he said Felix’s name, made the king shiver a little. There was something in Hyunjin that Felix couldn’t recognise just yet.

“I wanted to reconcile our kingdoms. I think it is high time for us to create the future together. That we should forget the past and....” He started but got interrupted by the short, black-haired man, sitting on the right of Hyunjin.

“You’ve got some nerve! You want to forget about the past when it was your father, who…?” He scoffed.

“Changbin, enough.” Hyunjin said calmly before his guard would say anything else. “Let’s hear the king’s offer first. I bet he had prepared some, before our arriving here, am I right your highness?” He raised his right eyebrow.

“Huh? Ekhm… Yeah, yes. Yes! I’d prepared an offer… I will... I will tell you about it after dinner.” Felix panicked. “You are probably tired after the trip, though. Please, let me show you your bedrooms.”

“After you then.” Was the only thing Hyunjin said before he went after Felix.

The four men had followed the king and his entourage. The silence between all the men was thick as the marble that surrendered them. Hyunjin looked around admiring the rich yet rather minimalist decor of the palace interior. He had to admit that he quite liked how everything looked. Even if the interior was a way brighter than his own palace.

“Here’s the south wing.” The voice of the king broke the silence. He cleared his throat a little. “I have ordered to prepare four bedrooms, but they are connected with one big common room in the middle. I hope you like it and…”

“Yes, thank you King for your hospitality.” Said Hyunjin. “We will just rest a little if you don’t mind, and then we can come back to the meeting room and talk about the future of our kingdoms. Now if you let me…” The prince opened the door to his room and passed Felix on the threshold, and his hand, seemingly by accident, gently brushed the king's arm, which caused a slight shiver on Felix's body. Felix cleared his throat once again.

“Please, rest then… I’ll send one of my men when the dinner will be ready. And make yourself at home, your royal highness.” Was the last thing Felix said, before he turned around and walked away from Hyunjin, accompanied by his entourage.

Hyunjin smiled under his nose nonchalantly and disappeared into his bedroom, as did his people. Changbin and Han immediately checked all the rooms, while Hyunjin and his younger brother, Jeongin, were sitting at the soft, white couches in the common room.

“Hyung? Everything is alright? You look thoughtful.” Jeongin pointed out.

“Yes I.N, everything’s perfect.” He smiled softly. “What do you think about the King, my brother?” Hyunjin tilted his head to the side a little as his eyes scanned the younger boy.

“Hm… he was, well, he looked nervous. And also his voice doesn’t match the looks. But I think he's different than his father was.” Jeongin said, looking at the older brother. “Oh, I know this look on your face… What are you up to? Don’t do anything stupid Hyunjin.”

“Believe me, I won’t.” Hyunjin said and started laughing. “I just…”

“The rooms are clear.” Changbin, accompanied by Han, made it into the common room. “We checked everything. Nothing suspicious here. We can feel safe. Or at least a little safer.”

“Perfect… I’ll take a bath, then, and you can rest, guys…” Hyunjin stood up from the couch. “Oh, and Han? Investigate the palace a little.” He said to the shorter man.

“But why me?” Han whined.

“Because I said so… Changbin, will you take my painting stuff to the terrace? After bath I would like to paint the view. Winter here is really something else.”

“Yes my prince.” Changbin bowed and went straight to complete his task.

“Han? What are you waiting for? Before dinner time I want you to know every entrance and hidden place here.” Was the last thing Hyunjin said, before he entered the bathroom. Han sighed heavily and just left the common room without a word.

“I bet it will be fun here.” Said Jeongin to himself and went to his bedroom.

In Shakespeare’s Sisters, Ramie Targoff recovers to literary memory the lives and talents of four women who wrote in England during Shakespeare’s time, well before there was any notion of “a room of one’s own.” From Mary Sidney, sister of the well-known poet Sir Philip Sidney (she wrote most of the beautiful translations of the Psalms ascribed to him) to Anne Clifford, a diarist and memoirist who fought for decades against a patriarchy that tried to disinherit her from her family’s land, these women stun us by their bravery. In the passage below, Targoff discusses the important poetry of Aemilia Lanyer, born of an illiterate mother and an immigrant father; it appeared in print in 1611, making her the first woman in the 17th century to publish an original book of verse.

In the same year the King James Bible first appeared in print, establishing the most influential English translation of scripture ever produced, Aemilia dared to tell a different story. Over the course of 230 rhyming stanzas of eight lines each, her “Salve Deus Rex Judaeorum” lays out the story of Christ’s Passion from a distinctly female perspective. The formal challenge of writing the poem was itself daunting: it’s no easy feat to compose over 1,800 lines of ottava rima (iambic pentameter stanzas written in an abababcc rhyme scheme). But Aemilia’s greater audacity was in tackling the subject of Christ’s crucifixion. To justify this, she makes the same claim for divine inspiration that the great Protestant poet John Milton would make sixty or so years later in writing Paradise Lost. Describing her own “poor barren brain” as “far too weak” for the task, she asks God to “give me power and strength to write”:

Yet if he please to illuminate my spirit,  And give me wisdom from his holy hill,  That I may write part of his glorious merit,  If he vouchsafe to guide my hand and quill Then will I tell of that sad blackfaced night,  Whose mourning Mantle covered Heavenly Light.

     Given the fact that the poem proceeds to do exactly what she petitions for, Aemilia shows her reader that her prayer has been answered: she’s not so much writing as channeling the divine word.[...]      Aemilia’s narrative of Christ’s Passion begins on the “very night our Savior was betrayed.” As part of her overall strategy in “Salve Deus”of celebrating female virtue, the poem draws attention both to the wicked acts of men (Caiaphas, Judas) and to the compassionate acts of women (the daughters of Jerusalem, the Virgin Mary) in the days leading up to Christ’s arrest. None of this comes as a surprise. But when Aemilia arrives at the moment that Pontius Pilate considers Christ’s fate, she does something totally unanticipated. Relinquishing her own role as narrator, she hands the poem over to Pilate’s wife. Among the most minor figures in the New Testament, Pilate’s wife has a single line of verse in only one of the four gospels. In Matthew 27:19, a woman who is never named urges her husband, the Roman governor in Judaea, to disregard the will of the people calling for Christ to be crucified: “Have nothing to do with that just man,” she warns Pilate, “for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.”      In early Christian commentaries and apocryphal writings, this woman was often called Procula Claudia, or simply Procula. In medieval England, Procula was paraded onstage in the mystery plays as an evil woman who almost prevented Christ’s saving humankind; in the York Cycle’s play named for her—The Dream of Pilate’s Wife—Percula, as she’s called there, receives her dream from the Devil himself. There’s no way to know if Aemilia knew this or other medieval dramas; it’s more likely she would have noticed the more positive treatment Pilate’s wife was given in the Geneva Bible, the popular translation done by English Protestants in the 1550s. Consistent with the Protestant belief that everyone should have access to the Bible directly, the translation was heavily glossed with marginal notes. Next to the verse from Matthew regarding Pilate’s wife was a single gloss suggesting that Pilate should have taken the “counsel of others to defend Christ’s innocence.” But whether the treatment of this woman was negative or positive, she had never been asked to perform the role Aemilia gave her in “Salve Deus,” where she delivers one of the strongest defenses for women’s rights that Christianity had ever seen.      In Pilate’s wife, Aemilia found her perfect heroine: a woman whose intervention at the crucial moment could have changed the course of history, if only her husband had listened. With the scriptural verse from Matthew before her, Aemilia made two crucial additions to the story. First, she transformed Pilate’s wife into a faithful believer who already regarded Christ as her Lord. “Hear the words of thy most worthy wife,” she begs her husband, “who sends to thee, to beg her Savior’s life.” Far from simply reporting that she’s had an ominous dream, as she does in Matthew, Pilate’s wife explicitly warns Pilate that he will be killing the son of God.      Second, Aemilia turned Pilate’s wife into a proto-feminist. After urging Pilate to let Christ go on religious grounds, she comes up with a new reason for why he should be pardoned: “Let not us women glory in men’s fall / Who had power given to over-rule us all.” If men are sinful enough to crucify their savior, then women should be liberated from men’s rule. “Your indiscretion sets us free,” she declares, “And makes our former fault much less appear.” In these four short lines, Aemilia’s character anticipates the killing of Christ as the basis for women’s freedom from patriarchy.      As if this weren’t radical enough, Pilate’s wife moves in “Salve Deus” from making her argument about the Crucifixion to recon- sidering the reason for Christ’s sacrifice in the first place. “Our mother Eve,” she exclaims,

. . . who tasted of the Tree Giving to Adam what she held most dear, Was simply good, and had no power to see,  The after-coming harm did not appear.

If Eve had no way to know the damage she might do, Adam was only too aware: it was he who received the command directly “from God’s mouth.” Eve was simply a victim of misinformation and “too much love,” whereas Adam, not betrayed by the “subtle Serpent’s falsehood,” knew exactly what he was doing.      Aemilia was certainly not the first person to defend Eve on grounds of her innocence or to propose that Adam be held responsible for the Fall. She was possibly the first to argue that the crime of killing Christ so overwhelmed any fault of Eve’s that women’s subordination should come to an immediate end. “If unjustly you condemn [Christ] to die,” Pilate’s wife concludes,

. . . Then let us have our Liberty again, And challenge [attribute] to your selves no Sovereignty;  You came not in the world without our pain, Make that a bar against your cruelty; Your fault being greater, why should you disdain  Our being your equals, free from tyranny? If one weak woman simply did offend,  This sin of yours, hath no excuse, nor end.

Hundreds of years before the women’s liberation movement, Aemilia used the figure of Pilate’s wife to argue that the sexes should be equal. In doing so, she also rescued a voice from history, giving full personhood and agency to a woman whom the Bible didn’t regard as worthy of a name.

“Yorkist and early Tudor kings considered physical beauty young women's primary qualification for their appointments as maids-of-honour because their appearance was a crucial element in the impression their courts made on their contemporaries and a major topic in reports about them. A foreign visitor to the queen's chamber during Edward IV's reign commented specifically, ‘Nor have I ever seen such exceedingly beautiful maidens’. Edward Hall noted ‘the beauty of the English ladies’ who accompanied Katherine of Aragon when she entered London for her marriage to Prince Arthur in 1501. Two decades later he praised the ‘beautiful train of ladies’ who assisted Katherine to receive Charles V when he visited England. Gasparo Spinelli, a Venetian who attended festivities at Greenwich in 1527, wrote that the ‘beauty and apparel’ of the women who were attending the banquet ‘caused me to think I was contemplating the choirs of angels’ and that the eight ‘damsels’ who performed in the disguising were of ‘such rare beauty as to be supposed goddesses rather than human beings’. In a revealing gesture, when Henry VIII took Anne Boleyn to meet Francis I in 1532, he removed the visors from the English female maskers to display ‘the ladies' beauties’ to the French king. As the king told Anne Basset bluntly in 1540 after he repeated his refusal to appoint her sister Katherine as one of the queen's maids, he ‘would have them that should be fair, and as he thought meet for the room’.”

1551 – The last French king of the Valois dynasty, Henry III (d.1589) was widely accused of sodomitical relations with his "minions," but such charges probably say more about the viciousness of the political and religious controversies of sixteenth-century France than they do about Henry III.

Christened Alexandre-Édouard soon after his birth on September 19, 1551, he took the name Henry only in 1564. He was the fourth son of Henry II (1519-1559, reigned 1547-1559) and Catherine de Medici (1519-1589). Henry was successively Duke of Angoulême (1551-1560), Duke of Orléans (1560-1566), and Duke of Anjou (1566-1574), before being elected King of Poland in May, 1573. He spent only six months in Poland before the death of his brother Charles IX (1550-1574, reigned 1560-1574) on May 30, 1574 made him King of France.

Henry had the misfortune to reign over a France plunged since 1562 into religious warfare between its Protestant minority and an intolerant Catholic majority. The struggle between the competing religions threatened the prestige, stability, and authority of the French monarchy. Henry III was a hard-working administrator and proponent of a centralized monarchical state at a time when France's great nobles still claimed considerable local authority.

Henry III faced considerable opposition, and scurrilous pamphlets denounced him for tyranny, heresy, and sexual depravity. Many of Henry's contemporaries expressed disgust with his personal conduct, especially his love of jewelry, his occasional transvestism (in the context of masked court balls) , and particularly his marked affection for his so-called "minions," a loyal band of youthful courtiers rumored to be his lovers. Many historians interpret Henry's alleged effeminacy and homosexuality as symptomatic of monarchical decadence. But the only evidence for Henry's homosexuality is court gossip and attacks by the king's critics, at first his Protestant enemies, then the fanatical Catholic League, which demanded that Henry take a harder line against Protestantism, as well as nobles from France's great houses, who resented the influence of favorites from lesser families.

Sodomy was never the only accusation levelled against the king. As David Teasley has shown, contemporary propaganda "associated [the king's reputed sodomy] with a host of other sins: irreligion, atheism, sorcery, treason, rape, tyranny, monstrous animalistic behaviour, and the killing of children."

The charges of sodomy should probably be seen as no more than an indication that many people viewed the king's political and religious policies to be subversive of the natural order. Jacques Clément, a Dominican monk convinced that he was doing God's work, assassinated Henry III on August 1, 1589. His Protestant cousin, Henry of Navarre, succeeded him as Henry IV (1553-1610, reigned 1589-1610), but managed to impose his rule only after a long civil war and conversion to Catholicism.

For a long time after his death, Henry was assumed to have been homosexual or at least bisexual. The scholar Louis Crompton provides substantial contemporary evidence of Henry III's homosexuality, and the associated problems at court and politics. Despite this, it is still disputed.

For example, some modern historians, such as P. Erlanger, J. F. Solnon, Nicolas Le Roux, and J. Boucher found evidence to support the idea that Henry was not homosexual (though still perhaps bisexual), as he had many famous mistresses. They found that there were no men named with whom he could have had sex, and that he was well-known at the time for his taste in beautiful women. They concluded that his supposed homosexuality was based on his dislike of war and hunting being interpreted as effeminate, an image cultivated by political opponents (both Protestants and Catholics) to turn the opinion of the French people against him.

Most recently, Gary Ferguson has offered a detailed assessment of Henri III and his court, in the context of a discussion of the question of homosexuality in the French Renaissance.

In 1570, discussions commenced to arrange for Henry to court Elizabeth I of England. Elizabeth, almost 37, was in need of a husband in order to produce an heir. However, nothing came of these discussions. Elizabeth is viewed by historians as having intended only to arouse the concern of Spain, rather than to have seriously contemplated marriage. The chance of marriage was further blighted by their differing religious views - Henry was at least formally a Catholic while Elizabeth was a Protestant - and his opinion of Elizabeth. Henry tactlessly referred to Elizabeth as a putain publique (a "public whore") and made stinging remarks about their difference in age. Upon hearing (inaccurately) that she limped because of a varicose vein, he called her an "old creature with a sore leg"

1934 – The "fifth Beatle," manager Brian Epstein (d.1967), also managed numerous other groups like Gerry & The Pacemakers, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, and solo artists like Cilla Black. The Beatles recorded a demo in Decca's studios — paid for by Epstein — which he later persuaded George Martin to listen to. Epstein was then offered a contract (after Martin had auditioned the group) by EMI's small Parlophone label, even though they had previously been rejected by almost every other British record company.

Perhaps few individuals were less likely to create the public image and oversee the career of the world's most famous rock group than Brian Epstein. Born into a family of affluent Liverpool Jewish furniture merchants, Epstein seemed destined for a career in their business. He was attracted, however, to such 'unmanly' pursuits as fashion design and the stage, which, along with his closeted homosexuality, put him at odds with his family's aspirations.

Epstein left school at sixteen to work at one of his family's stores until he was called up for military service in 1952. While Epstein was in the Army, he had a tailor make an officer's uniform for him that he wore when cruising the bars of London, but was arrested one night (for impersonating an officer) at the Army and Navy Club in Piccadilly by the Military Police. Epstein managed to avoid a court martial by agreeing to see an army psychiatrist, who uncovered Epstein's sexuality. He was discharged from the army after 10 months on the medical grounds of being "emotionally and mentally unfit", although Epstein later stated that his first homosexual experience was after he returned to Liverpool. Epstein then spent a year studying acting at teh Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, but dropped out shortly after his arrest for "persistent importuning" outside a men's public toilet in Swiss Cottage, London.

He returned to his family's business, where he became the manager of the store's record department. It was in this capacity that, in October 1961, he first heard of the Beatles, a Liverpool band whose fans were seeking their recordings. Epstein was unable to locate these records and, intrigued by the mystery, ventured into the Cavern Club, where he encountered John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and then-drummer Pete Best.

Within two months, although he had no entertainment or managerial background, Epstein had signed the group to a contract. Over the next year, he transformed the group's image from that of leather-clad ruffians to 'Mods' attired in fashionable suits with longish hairstyles, creating, in effect, an androgynous look for his protégés. Epstein also successfully negotiated the Beatles' first recording contract with EMI Parlophone, replaced Best with Ringo Starr.

Though Epstein was homosexual, it was not publicly known until a long time after his death, although it was an open secret among his friends and business associates. By 1964, when the Beatles and his other acts took America by storm, Epstein seemed to personify worldly success. He was, however, living in an almost constant state of anxiety lest his homosexuality - and his attraction to rough and often abusive young men - become public knowledge, as male homosexual acts were still illegal in Britain and any scandal might negatively affect the Beatles' career.

It has often been suggested that Epstein's devotion to the Beatles was based on an unrequited love for John Lennon. Speculation about a possible affair between them has existed since the two holidayed together in Spain in 1963.

Paul McCartney said that he and the other Beatles knew that Epstein was a homosexual, but they did not care, because Epstein greatly encouraged them when record companies turned them down, and used to take them to late-night drinking clubs they had previously never had access to. Although John Lennon often made sarcastic comments about Epstein's homosexuality to friends and to Epstein personally, nobody outside their closed circle was allowed to comment on it. Ian Sharp — one of Lennon's art school friends — once made a sarcastic remark about Epstein but was sent a letter by Epstein's office within forty-eight hours that demanded a complete apology. Sharp apologized but was then completely ostracized, and was told by McCartney in a letter to have no contact at all with any of them in the future.

There were rumors of a brief sexual encounter between Lennon and Epstein when they both went on a four-day holiday together to Barcelona, Spain in April 1963. Lennon always denied this, telling Playboy in 1980: "It was never consummated, but we had a pretty intense relationship." Lennon's first wife Cynthia also maintains that Lennon's relationship with Epstein was platonic. A fictionalized account of the Spanish holiday was portrayed in the film 1991 The Hours and Times. Lennon's friend and confidant, Peter Shotton, claimed in his book, The Beatles, Lennon and Me, that under provocation from Epstein, Lennon did partly give in: "I let him toss me off, and that was it." Biographer Hunter Davies also recalled Lennon telling him he had consented to an encounter "to see what it was like." Writer Albert Goldman expanded on both claims in his The Lives of John Lennon, alleging a longtime affair between the two men.

Epstein died of an accidental drug overdose at his home in London in August 1967. The Beatles' early success has been attributed to Epstein's management and sense of style. Paul McCartney said of Epstein: "If anyone was the Fifth Beatle, it was Brian."

1967 – Riyad Vinci Wadia (d.2003) was an Indian independent filmmaker from Bombay, known for his film, BomGay (1996) which is regarded as one of the very first gay themed movies from India. Born into the filmmaking Wadia family, he inherited the production company Wadia Movietone which is known for the Fearless Nadia movies which are one of their kind in the superwoman genre when the other movies of their time usually portrayed women in submissive roles. Wadia is also known for his documentary on Nadia, Fearless: The Hunterwali Story.

Riyad did his schooling in Bombay and later went to Australia for a course in filmmaking. Riyad was openly gay and so was his brother Roy Wadia, who was working for the World Health Organization.

The short film, BomGay, with shooting locations such as the gay cruising spots of Victoria Terminus urinals and the Bombay local tracks along which people defecate, was described as "part Bollywood, part Genet". The film explored the underground gay subculture of Bombay and marked the entry of queer themes into Indian Cinema. The film had a limited release in India, thanks to its explicit content. It got screened in a number of international film festivals and finds mention in the research works on the history of queer themes in Indian Cinema as the first queer themed film from India

Riyad tested positive for HIV in 1995. Though he was quite capable of affording the then expensive HIV medication, he refused to be on any kind of dosage. He left India shortly after the production of BomGay, supporting himself with petty jobs in New York and writing an article or two for The New Indian Express. Things got difficult post 9/11, with not many jobs available, forcing him to get back to Bombay. Riyad died of stomach tuberculosis on November 30, 2003, in Bombay. He was then in the process of generating funds for his first full length film (unfinished), Naked Rain, based on R. Raj Rao's novel, Boyfriend.

1970 – In Sydney, Australia, John Ware and Christabel Poll, founders of the newly formed Campaign Against Moral Persecution, Inc. (CAMP, Inc.) become the first gay man and the first lesbian, respectively, to come out publicly in the country’s history when an interview featuring them is published in the newspaper The Australian. 

2003 – In Belize, same-sex sexual activity is banned with a 10-year jail sentence if caught.

SAINT OF THE DAY (July 18)

On July 18, the U.S. Catholic Church celebrates the feast day of Saint Camillus de Lellis, who turned from his life as a soldier and gambler to become the founder of an order dedicated to caring for the sick.

In some other countries, he is celebrated on the anniversary of his death — July 14.

Camillus was born during 1550 in the Abruzzo region of Naples in present-day Italy.

His mother died during his infancy, and he lost his father, a former army officer, six years later.

The young man took after his late father professionally, serving in the armies of Venice and Naples until 1574.

During his military service, Camillus developed a severe gambling problem.

He repented of the habit in 1575, when he found himself impoverished and forced to do menial work for a group of Franciscans.

In February of that year, he resolved to change his life and soon sought to join the order.

A wound in one of his legs, however, was seen as incurable and kept him from becoming a Franciscan.

After this rejection, he traveled to Rome and worked for four years in a hospice.

Committed to a life of prayer and penance, he wore a hair shirt and received spiritual direction from St. Philip Neri.

Grieved by the quality of service given to the sick, Camillus decided to form an association of Catholics who would provide them with both physical and spiritual care.

He studied for the priesthood and was ordained in 1584.

Members of his order worked in hospitals, prisons, and in the homes of those afflicted by disease.

The order's original name, “Fathers of a Good Death,” reflected the desire to aid in their spiritual salvation and prepare the dying to receive their last rites.

Later known as the Order of the Ministers of the Sick, or simply as the “Camillians,” the group received papal approval in 1586 and was confirmed as a religious order in 1591.

In addition to the traditional vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, they took a vow of unfailing service to the sick.

Camillus himself suffered physical ailments throughout his life.

His leg wound failed to heal over the course of almost five decades, in addition to which he suffered from sores and severe kidney trouble.

But he is said to have spent time with the sick, even while unable to walk, by crawling from bed to bed.

The founder of the Ministers of the Sick lived to assist at a general chapter of his order in Rome during 1613 and to make a last visitation of many of their hospitals.

Learning that he himself was incurably ill, Camillus responded:

“I rejoice in what has been told me. We shall go into the house of the Lord.”

Receiving the Eucharist for the last time, he declared:

“O Lord, I confess I am the most wretched of sinners, most undeserving of your favor; but save me by your infinite goodness. My hope is placed in your divine mercy through your precious blood.”

After giving his last instructions to his fellow Ministers of the Sick, Camillus de Lellis died on 14 July 1614.

Pope Benedict XIV beatified him in 1742 and canonized four years later in 1746.

He was later named – along with Saint John of God – as one of the two main co-patrons of nurses and nursing associations in 1930.

He is the patron saint of the sick, hospitals, nurses, and physicians. His assistance is also invoked against gambling.

Vascony

Vascony (Vascon: Vasconna), or more fully the Vascon Kingdom of Navarre and Aquitain (Vascon: Lo Reiame Vascòn a Navarr'i Aquitanna, Vask: Navarron t'Aquitainon Vasca Herria) is a polity of western Europe occupying parts of southern Gaul and northern Spain.

History

Vascony was formed from the political union of Aquitain and Navarre, later expanding to vassalise Leon in the twelfth century.

The fifteenth century saw the Vascon Ascendancy, which began by most accounts in the reign of Ambrose II and reached a peak with his grandson Ambrose III. At the start of this period Vascony was at its territorial maximum: it had conquered northern Portingale and subjugated the rest as a nominally-independent client, as well as much of southern Burgundy (which is to say, enough of Provence to share a border with the Italian states of Genova and Romaine).

In 1458 Ambrose III established by royal decree the New Navarre Enterprise, whose primary aim was to solidify Vascon supremacy in the trade of North Atlantic fish through the Middlesea. British dominion over the Atlantic had long frustrated Vask fishing families, members of which still predominated in the aristocracy. It was ships of this guild that in 1471 sighted Brasil and brought news of the Novomund to Europe.

The decades following the Novomundine Landfall brought new prosperity to Vascony, and in particular to Portingale. At the same time, the polity suffered militarily: the Kingdom of Burgundy retook Provence in 1494 (sparking the 1497–99 War of Provincial Independence), and a decade later the remainder of Vascony's Middlesea coast (primarily the region of Tolose) was taken by Barcelon.

Being a maritime power, Vascony had explored parts of the African coast (as far south as Sant Adrian [Bioko]) during the fifteenth century. However, for much the same reason Vascony lost over a fifth of its population to the Second Great Dying in the years after the plague's arrival in Europe in 1519. Despite this, thanks to Novomundine profits in furs and other goods, the polity actually saw in increase in population from 1500 to 1550 (excluding Portingale) due to immigration.

The Vascon Ascendancy is generally considered to have ended with the War of the Two Queens near the end of the sixteenth century, which also saw the formal end of feudalism within the polity.

The parts of Mendeva first explored by (and whose trade was monopolised by) Vascony—to wit, the island of Brasil and the lands westward thereof—was named Ambrosia in honour of Ambrose III.

During the Romantic Wars of the mid-seventeenth century, Vascony fought primarily with Morrack to the south. The polity was forced to cede Portingale, its economic heart, to Andalus (then controlled by Morrack) after a series of military defeats.

In an example of early international cooperation, a canal system connecting Bordew to Audaz in Barcelon was completed in 1679.

Vascony was at the vanguard of the Modest Arrangement, a social movement in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries characterised by more stringent enforcement of morality codes, especially with respect to familial powers. Famously, author Antòin Herrel (latterly Tony Smith) was forced to flee Vascony to Kent after attempting to publish his blasphemous work 'Earthly Scene' (Vista Terrena).

At first, Vascony managed not to become embroiled in the Second German War of the 1820s. Once its interests in Mendeva and the East were threatened, however, then-king Hernand IV had no choice but to declare against the Northern Concert and in favour of the Convoy.

Into the twentieth century, Vascony maintained strong ties with its neighbour Provence by virtue of a shared enmity towards the Drengot Collusion to their north.

The two Half-Grim Reaper girls then just looks at the Dragon girl in front them. “So you girls are from a dimension similar to the Severus I knew except it was different?” Jana asks as Y/n nods her head in confirmation.

“That’s correct....” The Goth girl says. “Except the Severus we knew became a Death Eater after he graduated but he seem to regret the decision he made and joined the Order....” Anastasia adds finishing her sister's explanation.

The Half-Grim Reaper girl then sighs. “I’m a fool to even leave Hogwarts anyway. If I didn't he wouldn't have followed that path.” she says feeling guilty she wasn't there when he needed her.

The Great Dragon nods her head slowly. “The Severus I had was never been associated with the Death Eaters, and after we got married he became an Immortal too.” Jana said before grabbing her tea and take a sip.

"Immortal? How did you do that??” The two sister asks the Fallen Dragon.

"It was a contract that only a Fallen Dragon can do...” She says. “That's.. different” Y/n says in disbelief.

The younger Half-Grim Reaper girl was still stunned before she clears her throat. “Never expected that...” she then points out.

"I can see that....” Jana says, coldly." By the way, how old are you?” Anastasia asks. “I'm 636 years old...” The Dragon Lady says, casually. “My sister is born around 1550 while I'm born around 1720....” The younger Half-Grim Reaper girl then adds. Jana then looks at both of the sisters. “So the age difference between you both is 170 years?” she asks as both of the sisters nod.

Y/n sighs. “That wasn't very long in comparison with Sesshomaru and Inuyasha.” she then admits.

Anastasia sighs. “My boyfriend was about 9 centuries old and of Inuyasha was about 2 centuries old. So the age difference is about 7 centuries...” she then states.

Y/n then sighs at the mention of her former acquaintance and of course her childhood friend. “Speaking of them, I spent the last 2 decades in the past in Japan but in the Feudal Era where I met Sesshomaru who I befriended until he tried to kill me.” she then explains while wincing at the thought of what the Demon Lord did to her.

The silver-haired girl then sighs. “He told me how he was wrong about you and he really regret about what he did you, sis. I remember he apologized to you for it.” she then states as her sister groan. “Well, I never expect an apology from him. I mean, I never even for once he even did that.” she admits.

The Dragon Lady look at Y/n surprise. “So you're saying Sesshomaru tried to kill..... you?” she asks nervously.

The Half-Grim Reaper girl then sighs. “You have no idea. I later wounded him with my Death scythe but I would kill him right away but I decided to let him live instead....” she then explains. The Goth girl then smiles. “As for Inuyasha I met him when he was a child I get along with him pretty well and I was able to understand him. Since we're both outcasts within society.” she then adds.

Jana then looks at Anastasia as the silver-haired girl then sighs. “I hadn't even met Sesshomaru until 2 years after the second Wizarding war.” she then reveals.

Y/n then sighs. “Since then I just gave my former acquaintance a cold shoulder but I hadn't seen him for a long time at the time. Before I returned to our era I found Inuyasha sealed against the Tree of Ages. I regret not being there for him. His first love was the one who sealed him there as she thought he betrayed her both Naraku was the one who tried to separate both of them. Afterwards, I went back to the future and returned to castle but under the identity of another student. I was helping the Severus I knew on keeping his cover without him even noticing. The Headmaster wasn't able to trace me because I concealed myself and of course my aura that would cause any recognition. I was also helping him protect the Potters’ child. However, like my husband, I never like James Potter but I never like Severus' former friend either. I thought her to be a fool to even date with a swine like Potter in the first place.” she then explains.

The Dragon Lady then sighs. “I would agree with you. Not only Potter was a swine he was also flea bag. He made my husband’s time back at school hell just before I came to put an end to it.” she then says.

The Goth girl then groans. “That makes both of our Severus’s except I wasn't there for mine but you were with yours. I gotta admit I'm a little jealous. Like I said, I was a fool to even leave the school.” she then admits.

Jana gives the Half-Grim Reaper girl a sympathetic look. “It’s fine. You knew you did a great job in protecting him from afar...” She says making Y/N smiles as her “I don't why I got this Feeling but I think that you're pretty Kind” The Half-Grim Reaper girl then says. “Kind? I don't feel the same way when I met you.” Anastasia comments “Before I had met Severus. I was very cruel and vicious.. I used to play with every creature I see. *Grin* Including some Grim Reapers...” The Dragon Lady's words makes the two sister's eyes widened “Wh-Why are you killing them?” the silver-haired girl then asks. “They're pretty meddling with my Business and Always Imprisoning some of my Shinigamis” Jana says making Y/n to raise her voice. “Its our job to collect those soul! And besides-” before she could finish her words the Great Dragon immediately gives her threatening look “Your father is a great friend of mine. So I suggested you to keep your voice down or else you wanted to end up like those Grim Reapers that I killed.” The Dragon Lady Says before taking a small sip into her tea.

Y/n then frowns at Jana's behavior. “I never expect your race is much more extreme than demons but I made the right decision to retire and live a normal life. I only use my Death scythe when necessary." She then states. Anastasia then sighs. “No wonder why the Headquarters was so understaffed...” she then adds.

The Dragon Lady smiles at them. “I only stopped because your father tells me to...” She says. “Well, that's a good thing.” Anastasia says. “Yeah...” The Goth girl says. Y/n then sighs. “But still I'm a bit disappointed. Especially if you ended up killing 2 of my closest friends during my time as a Grim Reaper.” she then admits. “Hmm? Friends?” The Dragon Lady asks. “Sorry, I don't quite remember them all.” She adds “What do they looked like?” Jana ask. The silver-haired girl then winces at the thought. As she thought about William.

“I meant if you ended up killing them.” The Half-Grim Reaper girl then says. “But don't even think about doing it if they are around." She then adds. “*chuckles* Don't worry I already changed and besides I don't want to be a bad example to my children...” The Dragon Lady says.

Anastasia then decides to clear her throat to ease the tension. “Well, at first I never even met my boyfriend but I heard about him through Y/n....” She then starts as she changes the topic.

“Ohh.. What a matchmaker...” Jana says as the Half-Grim Reaper narrows her eyes. “Not exactly...” Y/n replies. “Why?” The Dragon Lady ask looking confused making Y/n sigh. “Well, actually after I found out that Sesshomaru has a thing for my sister I immediately opposed to it...” the Goth girl says. “Because he tried to kill you once...” Jana adds making Y/n nod. “I see...” She adds. “But as you can see Anastasia loves him very much so that's why we let them be...” The Half-Grim Reaper girl says.

The silver-haired girl then sighs. “Dad wasn't happy about it either so he tried to kill Sesshomaru for that. Well for trying to kill my sister and having feelings towards me. But in the end he gave in not without threatening him." She then adds. Y/n sighs as well. “That time he threatened my husband for the second time. Severus was really scared of him.” she admits.

“Your father has the right to be mad at him..” Jana says and Y/n nods. “But as you say you loved him and I know that your father loves you so much so it was so obvious that he will give up...” She adds “Which I remember when Harry and Draco ask my beloved daughter to Yule Ball....” She says, smiling. “Now that I think of it. If Rin grows up there would be boys who would want to be with her but knowing my boyfriend. He wouldn't allow that." Anastasia admits. “I know, Sesshomaru sees the little girl as his own daughter...” The Goth girl says.

“There's one of a few things me and my sister share....” Y/n says as the Dragon Lady tilts her head. “What is it?" She asks. The Goth girl sighs. “We both hate people who hurt innocent children for fun without any remorse. We both have a soft spot for little children. We got that from our mother.” she then reveals.

Anastasia then frowns when she remembers Koga. Who's another guy who was also in love Kagome besides Inuyasha. “A pack of wolves once killed Rin but Sesshomaru revived her with the Tensaiga. Because of it, she has strong fear towards wolves.” she then explains.

“What a coincidence, that's the reason I met Severus. He was being bullied at that time when I met him..” Jana says. “I see myself in him and decided to protect him...” She adds as both sisters look at her confused. “Why? I thought you hated humans...” Anastasia says in confusion. The Half-Grim Reaper girl then figure the reason out. “Is it because of some kind of traumatic experience you have growing up?” she carefully asks.

“Well, yeah.... *smile* My Parents raised me to become a killing machine. They wanted me to become emotionless and stronger than them because I was the only heir...” The Dragon Girl says. “They tortured me when I was 4 and starved me for 6 months straight. Oh! they also umm made me kill high level demons to test my strength and power...” She adds. “That's why I was very attached with Severus. He changed me in a great way.” The Dragon Lady's words makes the two sister stare at her in shock.

However, the Goth girl was the first to regain her composure. “They say that love can change you....” Y/n then says as the silver-haired girl nods in agreement. “Either for the better or worse....” Anastasia then adds. “Yes it does. That's why I gave myself to him...” Jana says as the two sister see if how she loved Severus greatly. The Half-Grim Reaper girl then smiles. “I agree but I been through the same as you did but different.” she then says. The Dragon Lady looks at her confused. “What do you mean?" She asks.

Y/n sighs. “After I was a born, my father abandoned both me and my mother. Growing up I have been bullied and discriminated for being a mix of two beings and of course my powers. However, in comparison to you my mother was always busy and never has time for me. But I wasn't alone I had friend named Elena Everfree. However, for the bullying and discrimination I endured I developed so much hatred towards those of the living.” she then starts to explain. “Whenever Mom asks me about it, I would often lie that I'm alright but deep down I'm not. The hatred I felt towards the living is particularly because I'm envious of them they have a family and I don't...” she then continues. “My intention in order for them to understand what I'm going through by making them suffer. When dad came back into our lives, I wasn't happy at first but the reason why he did it because he only did it so the Grim Reaper's Dispatch won't find out about me as he couldn't risk any of it.” The Goth girl adds.

“*nod* I see. Your life was pretty hard..” Jana says. “Well, at least you had mother to care for you...” She adds as she remembers of how badly she was being treated by her own mother.

The Half-Grim Reaper girl then nods in agreement. “Yeah. Anyway, for the past centuries I trained and learn a lot of spells. However, when Anastasia was born I couldn't take risk for her to grow up full of hate like I did. I told my parents what I thought that I couldn't for my younger sister to grow up like I did. Our parents were able to make up their word until a century later. I created a spell that I would use that not only it would affect those of the living but also those of the dead and beyond.” she then explains. Anastasia then sighs. “The spell is called the Wave of Hatred. She has been practicing when we're at the Mansion that belong to our Mother's parents. But I never said a thing while we're at the Campania." She then reveals.

Anastasia then starts to explain this time. “Well, it was revealed there when Dad prevented Grell who was a close friend of ours from attacking someone in the Campania. He really surprised everyone including Sebastian Michaelis and Ciel Phantomhive.” she says as she let's her older sister continue. “Our father was originally acquaintance to the Phantomhive family because he used to be friends with the late Vincent Phantomhive; Ciel’s father. Not until we betray the Phantomhive’s back in the late 19th century. During the time of the Campania; I have gone insane.” she then adds.

“That was the same time Dad revealed he was a former Grim Reaper. During our retirement, nobody noticed because he often covers his eyes under his bangs and of course under his hat. I intervene in his fight against Grell, Ronald, and Sebastian when I used the Wave of Hatred for the first time and effects was completely what I expected.” The Goth girl says.

The younger Half-Grim Reaper girl then sighs. “Sis also revealed she created the spell to make those around her suffer the pain she felt growing up. She also let out the emotions she had bottle up inside. Our parents asks me if I knew and I told them the truth. So they then we have no choice but to work together to calm her down..." She then adds to the explanation.

Y/n nods in confirmation. “They tried to talk to me but I couldn't listen because at the time I told them they would never understand me.... And that's when our parents realized the mistake did for ignoring me. But in the end I managed to calm down when Anna snapped me out of it. I expected our parents to yell at me but instead they apologize to me that they unintentionally inflicted so much pain on me.” She then finishes.

The Dragon girl was surprised.

The part where where their parents apologize to their eldest daughter that they were the cause of her pain really reminded her how her parents were able to see the error of their ways. The reason why they kidnapped her husband back in their youth. It was pretty surprising to see them having fun. Of course, it surprised her to get an apology from her mother.

Meanwhile with the two sisters’ and of course Jana’s parents....

Y/m/n was drinking her cup of tea while sitting next to her husband as she looks at the Dragon Lady’s parents.

“So Undertaker.... You and your wife are from another dimension similar to ours?” Anna Diamond asks making the retired Grim Reaper nod in confirmation. “That’s correct, Ms. Diamond...” he says. “I really never thought my absence really affected my eldest daughter...” Undertaker then says.

The Dragon Queen sighs. “I can agree with you. I really regreted how I treated Jana." She then admits before turning to look at the wife of the retired Grim Reaper. “I’m really jealous on how you were genuinely concerned towards your daughter, Y/m/n....” she says as Y/m/n sighs. “Well, whenever ask Y/n if she's alright. She often says she's fine but in reality she wasn't fine at all. I knew she was lying but particularly it was my fault as well. You see, back then I was often busy and I never had time towards my eldest daughter.” she then explains.

“At least you had the chance to love her, but we are the complete opposite. We hurt her and used her for our own advantage as the Head of the Dragon Clan...” Anna says as she tries to prevent her tears from spilling out. “Oh, dear. You knew that our daughter has forgiven us already...” Lester says as he held his wife's cold hand. “I know.. It was just a little bit hurtful when I remembered how badly I treated her before. When she was sick, I'm always neglecting her needs and didn't return the love she has given me...” The Dragon Queen says.

The current Head of the L/n family gives her a sympathetic look. “Thinking back. I really regret for not being there for Y/n when she need me the most while I was raising her on my own." She then explains. The retired Grim Reaper then sighs. “When I came back to their lives. She wasn't very happy but at time she was very envious of the people who grown with a family. Her hate towards other people around her was completely extreme to say the least." He then reveals.

His wife nods in confirmation. “Like I said, it was mine and my husband’s fault she became that way but she wasn't alone growing up we have a neighbor of Immortal humans at the next door. The Everfree family. Pretty much their daughter Elena Everfree was able to understood her.” she then explains. Undertaker then sighs. “But it would never fill the emptiness our eldest daughter felt.” he then reveals.

The retired Grim Reapers face turn serious. “However, that change when Anastasia was born. She was born 170 years after her older sister. Y/n told us she doesn't want her to grow up like the way she did. Well full of hate. Anastasia likes being around with her older sister.” he says as he smiles of how his youngest interact with her older sister.

“We can clearly see that...” Anna says before she then looks down. “Sadly, we are not able to give my daughter a sibling....” She adds. “We can try, you know.” Lester says making his wife pinch him. “But, Jana was enough for our family besides she has the ability every creature has needed...” The Dragon Queen says making Undertaker smirk. “Ohh is that so? Maybe lets see how strong your daughter was...” He says, mischievously. “Are you asking for a duel?” Anna asks, calmly. “I wanted to know who's more stronger and powerful...” The Silver-haired man says. “*smirk* Aren't you afraid that you are only putting your beloved daughter in danger?” The Dragon Queen asks, mischievously.

However Y/m/n gives her husband a stern look. “Adrian.....” She then says in a warning tone. “What?” He asks, defensively. “It was just a game to see who's more stronger and powerful...” He adds.

His wife just sighs. “The girls might hear you while they are talking to one another....” she then informs her husband. “But I rather not have you do something reckless. You're really going to embarrass our daughters especially our eldest.” She then adds as Undertaker sigh in annoyance “You're no fun at all...” He says. “I don't care, because what you want to do is really stupid.” Y/m/n said in a stern tone.

The Immortal human then sighs once again before diverting her attention to the Male Fallen Dragon. “Sorry, about my husband, Lester. He's usually like this sometimes Y/n gets so embarrassed with his his behavior.” she explains. “The girls sometimes think he was so annoying....” Y/m/n then adds. Lester chuckles “It's fine, Y/m/n, I can see that he's very excited to knew of how capable our children were....” He says. “Yes, but as you can see it was wrong....” The Immortal human says making Lester nod. “Yes I can agree...”

The Head of the L/n family then clears her throat. “Anyway, when it came to to the men who love our daughters. I think my husband and I should start.” she then says.

Y/n infiltrated Hogwarts with her real appearance but she was able to conceal her aura and her Grim Reaper side it wouldn't give away to anyone she was a mix of the living and the death. Her reason why was to observe and gather information. That is until she met her future husband; Severus Snape. Particularly the Severus Snape of our dimension.” She then starts explaining.

The retired Grim Reaper then turns to look at Anna. “What house was your daughter in?” He asks the Dragon Queen. Anna looks at Undertaker in surprised. “Umm.... She was in the same house as her husband. She was in Slytherin during her time attending the school.” she then reveals. The retired Grim Reaper can't help but chuckle. “What a coincidence, Anna. You see, our eldest was also in Slytherin prior before she left the castle....” he then reveals as he looks down on the last part.

“More likely Jana was very cold towards others when she was there.. And almost killed the group called ummm the Marauders...” The Dragon Queen says “She even told me that she met the man she helped before....” The Dragon Queen adds.

The Immortal human then frowns. “The Marauders..... I remember that Y/n views James Potter with disgust and hate because of what he and his friends put her husband through.” she reveals. “Yes, my daughter sees them as maggots and wants to kill them all...” Anna says “*sigh* Well, however my daughter had the chance and traumatized them by putting them into a dimension that is full of demons...” She adds making them nod.

Undertaker looks intrigued by what Anna said. “The man she helped before...... Are you talking about the school’s Headmaster?” he asks just to confirm his suspicions. The Dragon Queen nod “Yes, him. She confronted him and McGonagall when they didn't take an immediate action towards the case of Severus....” She said “The Headmaster gives my daughter an authority to do what she wants, and luckily she didn't do something crazy aside from protecting Severus only.” she adds.

The Immortal human then sighs. “If our eldest was still around the school. She'll really do something to scare the Marauders and do anything crazy like my husband would do.” she says as she gives her husband a serious look. “Ohh what is it?” Lester asks as Y/m/n sighs. “She got Adrian’s negative traits. His mischievousness and playfulness to the point it sometimes put her into trouble.” she then says. “Not to mention his recklessness...." She then adds.

The Male Fallen Dragon let's out a laugh as he remembers his wife. “I can see that pretty well... *laughing*” he says. “Oh shut it...” The Dragon Queen says “What? You looked so adorable...” Lester says.

Undertaker then clears his throat. “Well, like we said Y/n left the school. She never wanted to but she have no choice however because of it. Severus had followed his path in becoming a Death Eater. Our eldest ended up in the Japan but in the Feudal Era. That's where she befriended the man who would later become Anastasia’s boyfriend. The eldest son of Toga; the Great Dog Demon General. Who became the Lord of the Western Lands; Sesshomaru. They became friends. Y/n trusted him so much until....” he says before he then frowns.

Anna then looks at the retired Grim Reaper confused. “Undertaker? Are you alright?” She asks as the second Head of the L/n family just nods. “Well, it was just. They were used to be friends not until he attempted to kill her after he found out she was a mix of the living and the death. He also called her a Half-breed which is enough to anger Y/n. She later wounded him with her Death scythe.” He then finishes his explanation.

Y/m/n looks down. “She lost her trust on him and it took him 3 weeks to recover from the injury. As you see can Demons are prone to Grim Reaper's Death scythes.” She then adds. “However, Y/n gets along well with the illegitimate son of Toga and Sesshomaru’s younger Half-brother; Inuyasha. They met when he was child she took liking to him immediately as the treatment he gets from the other children were similar to the treatment she suffered growing up.” She then adds.

The Immortal human then smiles when she thought about her daughter’s bond towards the Half-Demon. “She gets along with him because he was an outcast like her. She was there to play with him. His mother; Izayoi was really happy her son has a friend. She loves her son more than anything and Inuyasha loves his mother. She was the only few people he likes being around. However, sadly his mother died and Y/n took Inuyasha with her and continued to raise him for his mother. When he was all grown up they both maintain their friendship. Later on, he would later meet the woman who was his first love. Her name was Kikyo; she was a Priestess and the protector of the Sacred Jewel before she died.” she adds.

Y/m/n remembers on how her daughter approved of Inuyasha’s relationship with the Priestess. “Y/n approved of their relationship back then but one day when Naraku separated both of them and severed Inuyasha and Kikyo’s thread of fate. She wasn't there when the Priestess sealed her friend. Our daughter was guilty that she wasn't around when that happened. But before she left as her 2 decades at the Feudal Era was up; she made a promise to a silent promise that will come back. She later returned to Hogwarts but in the disguise of another student not only she concealed her aura from the Headmaster but she also altered her appearance. Severus on the other hand, while Y/n was at the past he committed a lot of mistakes as a Death Eater but he came to regret it when his former best friend was killed by Tom Riddle that night in Godric’s Hollow. Our daughter secretly helped in maintaining his cover in secret and during the time she confronted him after he killed Dumbledore. You see in our dimension, Severus killed the Headmaster.” she then adds.

Undertaker then frowns when he remembers how his son-in-law was very hesitant to kill Dumbledore as the Headmaster ordered him to. He knew Severus never wanted to do it but the curse in Dumbledore’s hand is starting to kill him. “Riddle gave Draco Malfoy the impossible task to kill the Headmaster as punishment because of what happened back at the Ministry. From what I found out from both of them Lucius Malfoy failed to retrieve the prophecy linking between Riddle and Harry Potter. Severus made the unbreakable vow with Narcissa Malfoy (Y/n’s old friend) to protect Draco with the best of his ability, and to fulfill Riddle's wishes if the boy were to fail.” He then explains. “However, after the Headmaster was killed, Potter gone after the Death Eaters and Severus when they try to escape the castle. But what they didn't know our daughter followed them in secret. Of course, she finally revealed herself after she disappeared to the Feudal Era. Which surprised everyone who knew her including her husband." He then adds.

“How surprising indeed. For a young woman such as herself has managed to do all that on her own...” The Dragon Queen says before turning to her daughter who was currently talking with the two sisters. “I have a proposal” She adds. “I'm listening...” Undertaker says. “I wanted your daughters along with my daughter to travel back to Feudal Era...” She says making them confused. “Why?” Y/m/n asks “I wanted her to kill Naraku....” She says.

The retired Grim Reaper then looks at her surprise before clearing his throat. “Actually, Y/n rather live a peaceful but she only comes around to the Feudal Era to help her sister only when necessary....” he says as his eldest daughter sigh. “I rather want to live a peaceful life.... Sorry, Ms. Diamond...” she then says. The Immortal human sighs as well. “Anastasia frankly travels in the Feudal Era with her boyfriend; Sesshomaru....” she then reveals to the Dragon Queen.

Undertaker then sighs. “Speaking of him, were now on Anastasia’s boyfriend. Sesshomaru originally hates humans and half-breeds. Me and our eldest were completely against with him being with our youngest. Because of history with Y/n, she gives him a cold shoulder after she saw him again 7 - 10 years. Well, how she met him. Well, it happened when they met at the woods, he immediately fell in love with her. 2 weeks afterwards she can't get out of her head a week after. I tried to well.... Kill him.....” he reveals.

Y/n then sighs. “When it came to killing Naraku Inuyasha and Sesshomaru had their personal reasons. In my close friend’s case was to make him pay for being responsible for Kikyo’s death.” she then starts allowing her sister to continue. “In my boyfriend’s case for trying to put mine and Rin’s life on the line....” The silver-haired girl then says.

The Goth girl then sighs. “Although, I hated Kikyo for trying to kill Kagome from the very beginning when she was resurrected. I felt bad for her. She never deserved her fate.” she then admits.

“No one has ever deserved such a cruel death...” Jana says. “Yes, she is, but eventually she was now seeking for revenge...” Y/n replies. “I know and I can see why...” The Dragon Lady says making the Half-Grim Reaper girl nod.

After their conversation the Diamond family say their goodbyes, and of course return to their dimension. When Jana reach to home, Severus and their children welcomed their beloved mother. “Mommy!” The children hug their mother. “Have you met my other self?” Severus asks his wife while he was holding their little daughter Eileen as the Dragon Lady stood up and kiss her husband's lips.

The Dragon Lady then shook her head. “No unfortunately. It's just me and my parents having a conversation with the L/n family....” she then says. The Potions Master then frowns making his wife give him a soft smile. “But I found out things about your counterpart, my love....” she say, reassuringly.

Meanwhile in the Half-Grim Reaper girl dimension.....

When the family returned to the mansion. They saw Kagome, Sango, and Miroku playing a game of cards while the others were just watching. However, Severus and Sesshomaru are not paying any attention as they were waiting for the sisters.

They were all in the lawn of the front yard. The sisters then smile when saw the men they love standing there pretty much waiting for both of them. “Severus!!/Sesshomaru!!” both girls call out as both men look up.

The former Potions and the Great Dog Demon’s eyes widen in surprise. They saw two women they love dearly.

When both of the sisters were making their way towards them. Sesshomaru then ran his way towards Anastasia only to tackle her in a hug. He then looks at her eyes as he then wrap his right arm around her while he let his phantom hand that was attach to his phantom arm (which she gave him using a spell) to go through her hair. She then smiles as reddish-brown eyes met with amber eyes. “I miss you, Anastasia....” The Demon Lord says as his phantom hand go from her to tenderly caress her cheek. “I miss you too, my love...” the silver-haired girl then says.

When Y/n approach her husband, Severus then pulls her into a hug. She then returns it by wrapping her arms around his neck.

“So how's the talk with the Diamond family?” The former Potions Master asks making the Half-Grim Reaper girl frown. “Well, it was okay. It was just a little bit terrifying...” The Goth Girl replied making everyone frown in confusion. “Why?” Severus ask. “At first she was very charming and elegant woman... Until she tells us that she was reason for the lost of countless Grim Reapers....” Y/n says. “She even told us of how did she met you in her dimension...” The silver-haired girl says “She even threatened my sister when she raise her voice at her.” She adds.

Severus and Sesshomaru sigh, sharply “How dare she....” Severus says. “Oh dear, in her dimension you were so in loved with her...” Y/n says. “What? How can I loved someone liked her?” The Potion Master asks in confusion. “She's coming in here with her family....” Anastasia says.

Y/n sighs. “Well, your counterpart in her dimension. They met when they were students....." The Half-Grim Reaper girl starts. “You didn't became a Death Eater in her dimension, you see. Your counterpart later got married to her after they graduated.” she adds.

“She was completely like you and your counterpart. She was abused by her parents and pushed to her limits when she was young...” The silver-haired girl then says as she remembers on how Jana told both of them her past.

Severus stares at his wife in disbelief “But she's a bad person...” He says making Y/n hit him. “She had changed when she met you, and for your Information she protects you from the Marauders...” The Goth Girl said “Well, any particular reason for her to come here?” The Demon Lord asks. Anastasia then sighs. “It’s not our idea, Sesshomaru....” she says.

“Her parents wants her to kill Naraku....” The silver-haired girl then adds as the rest of the group look surprise. “Why? I bet she doesn't even know him...” Inuyasha says.“Maybe she did not, but her parents did...” Y/n says as she cross her arms to her chest.

The silver-haired girl then sighs. “Seems so, unfortunately.... We know Y/n never comes around unless when it's necessary for her to.” She then says.

The Demon Lord nods in agreement. “Well, such as giving Anastasia the spell book she needs while she was traveling with me.” He then adds.

The Dog Demon stares at his friends. “Are you sure that we can trust that woman?” he asks the younger Half-Grim Reaper girl as she sighs. “I guess so...” she says. “Don't worry if she did something wrong.. I'm going to deal with her myself...” Y/n says making Inuyasha nod.

“But both of our parents along with my sister made clear it to her parents we never wanted their daughter to get involve when it came to dealing with Naraku....” Anastasia then says.

“But they kept insisting that It has to be done...” The silver-haired girl adds.

“However, I believe Inuyasha and Sesshomaru can finish Naraku....” Y/n then says. “We just have to believe in them....” she then says. “Relying on someone else is typically the wrong thing to do... So we turned down their proposal.....” The Goth girl then adds.

Inuyasha nods out “That's good.. I don't want someone liked her to interfere with our business..” He says making his friend nod “I know...” she says.

After a few days... the gang were on their journey of finding Naraku.

Meanwhile back at the Frozen Heart dimension.....

Jana and Severus we're at Jana's parents place. The Dragon Lady sighs. “Mom, I don't even get why you suggested that to the two sisters?" She then asks her mother.

“I need something to that man” Anna says as she was holding the youngest child of her daughter Eileen. “What is it?” Severus asks. “The Sacred Jewel.. I gave it to the girl named Kikyo.. But she had failed me, and then her reincarnation named Kagome accidentally break the Jewel.. *sigh* and most of the parts of that jewel was held by that man...” The Dragon Queen explains “And you wanted me to get it so yu can have it again?” Jana asks making her mother nod. “It was not safe there, that piece of jewel was very dangerous...” Anna replies.

“But it seems the sisters never wanted to be reliant towards me as it made them both feel that they're losing faith with the two people they were more close with.....” The Dragon Lady then says finally revealing to her parents what the two girls were feeling.

“However, in comparison Y/n only travels to the Feudal Era when necessary while Anastasia travels with her boyfriend. But they were close with the brothers themselves; Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.” She then adds.

The Dragon Queen stares at her daughter, mischievously. “I don't care about what they want.. I want you to go there and take it. That jewel can destroy the whole world....” she says. “*nod* Alright.. I'm going with My family” The Dragon Lady says making her mother smile. “Don't let them possess it...” Anna says. “Don't worry, I won't even if it was Severus from their dimension....” Jana says with a stern tone.

born as bastards to a noble man in the 1550s, victoria and her sister, anne, learned from a young age to disappear into dark corners. victoria was barely 12 when they ran away, and her older sister started working at a brothel to keep the two of them fed. one day, however, anne disappeared. when victoria realized her sister wasn’t coming back she managed to escape and spent the next couple of years living in the streets of london, learning how to steal and never get caught, getting quicker and smarter.

when victoria was 22, her sister returned in the middle of the night. she had been turned into a vampire, and had spent the past decade learning how to control her bloodlust. she soon turned victoria and introduced her to her coven, hilda, mary and heidi. the last one had attracted the attention of the volturi with her powers, and they soon claimed their coven had been attracting too much human attention. heidi was taken by the volturi and the rest of the coven was massacred. victoria was the only survivor.

after that, victoria stayed away from other vampires. she amused herself playing with humans, quickly finding her way into high society circles with her innocent appearance and charming smiles, only to disappear just as quickly after a few jewels and lives were stolen. the knowledge of her gift made her bolder, and infinitely colder. when you know no one will get their hands on you, the world becomes your personal little stage.
