Since chapters 3 and 4 are releasing in like 2 hour, here are my Deltarune theories and questions.

Kris isn’t the only person making dark fountains. The Knight is someone else. I think Kris made the fountain in their house bc they want to keep adventuring with Susie and Ralsei. Or just out of spite for the player somehow

Asgore used to be a cop, was removed from the police force —> whatever he did to get removed from the police force caused his and toriel’s divorce

Kris sees “pictures of unfamiliar humans” in a library book and quickly shuts it —> something happened to the humans in this world. What if the monsters won the war in this timeline so that’s why they were never sealed underground?

Maybe the reason Kris doesn’t like thinking about/ seeing other humans has something to do with Asgore

There’s a hole punched in the wall of the police station next to the bulletin board. You can’t interact with it to get any flavor text. I think Asgore did that when he was fired.

Alvin is up to something. Might not be the knight but he’s up to something.

Noelle’s mom (the mayor) is hunting anyone who does crime in secret. Night in the woods parallel?

Also I think Noelle’s mom might be abusive or at the very least neglectful but I might also be projecting

Dess either left to get away from her and Noelle’s mom, was disappeared by a Mysterious Force while trying, or her and Noelle’s mom made her disappear

What if that spooky bunker isn’t actually that deep. What if it’s just where Susie lives?

King and Queen parallel toriel and Asgore with the whole divorced parents thing but how the hell did they have a kid (lancer) and get a whole divorce when they’re from entirely different dark worlds? Were all the dark worlds connected before the knight started making new fountains? <— additional supporting evidence: Spamton heavily implies that he knows about Jevil

Why does Seam want the shadow crystals? I don’t trust him

What does Temmie know about/have to do with the eggs?

Who the fuck is Mike?

Egg man could perchance be Gaster but I’m not counting on his identity ever being revealed

GASTER'S FOLLOWERS

Don't forget these are also AU contents so designs and other weird things I don't know how to explain are can be different than canon or what other fans made like.

Ok guys let me explain. I did a lot of research on the names of Gaster's followers. But I couldn't find a Canon name for all of them. (Or there was but I couldn't find it.) I named most of the names based on information on some sites I found. Especially since there is no information about Goner Clam Girl and Eye Talker's real name, I named them myself.

Other facts about Gaster's Followers :

Follower #4

Goner Kid is Monster Kid's sister and a family member, and Eye Talker is her uncle.

The ribbon on Goner Kid's head was gifted to her by W.D Gaster.

Since she is already a child, she does not bother helping Gaster in the True Lab. She mostly hangs out with Alphys in the normal Lab.

Follower #1

Okay, I have to say this: Dust Licker is not naked under his apron. As long as the metal necklace on his neck (yes, he calls it a necklace) is on his neck, he is not naked, regardless of whether he takes off his apron or not.

He is the person in the best psychological condition in the group.

Follower #2

He's the Follower who hangs out with Gaster the most. Gaster and him are like brothers.

In AU, he can appear both with and without a hoodie.

His eyes appear when he feels dominant emotions. Examples:

You may not know this Follower, because she only appears in the Nintendo Switch version of Undertale if we go back to the Waterfall before reaching the barrier during the Good Ending.

There is a theory that her neighbor's daughter is Susie (Deltarune). This AU also has this theory. But it's not a big deal.

As you can see in the images, Eye Talker has 2 different forms and can transform into either one whenever he wants. The reason I made the First Form was because I thought it was strange that someone like him, with no arms or legs, would be one of the people helping Gaster in the laboratory.

This may be ridiculous information, but Eye Talker has an amazing jumping ability. He can jump up to 3 meters.

Grimm's Deltarune Secret Boss Masterpost

I've decided to make a Blog specifically for my Deltarune Fanart, Ideas, Concepts, Etc so I decided to make a masterpost for all my Secret Boss OCs.

Get Ready for heeps and heeps of lore and ocs.

Sketchit, Main Secret Boss OC.

TL;DR - Secret Boss for my main Deltarune AU/sidestory about an art studio. She's a forgotten sketchbook and is a conspiracy theorist who needs to prove herself right. Eventually she turns into a sick spider god for her Boss fight thanks to an artifact.

Lore - Sketchit used to be the main bosses apprentice, some would say his favorite apprentice. Well, until she was thrown to the streets when she wasn't useful to him anymore. She was distraught and broken and looking for answers...and someone gave her a sliver of the truth. A mysterious man told her something about the truth...and left her to figure out the rest...and oh boy she's trying. She began making theories and fully believing them until the story she made seemed to devolve and become very, very complex. Eventually, The Fun Gang came along and got split up. Kris and Ralsei took a wrong turn and met her. She explained the truth of this world and Ralsei interjected, saying that she was way off. Sketchit was pissed and, after a fight, told Kris to bring her an artifact in the main boss's fortress. If you break into the Librar(b)y and find the artifact, Sketchit will break through the wall, steal it, and read through it to show she was right...but she wasn't...she was way off...Sketchit didn't know how to feel...but she knew what she had to do. If she wasn't right, then she had to make it right...and Sketchit absorbed the Artifact to turn her into the spider god form I talked about. You get the Purple soul and kick her into the ground until she dies and she can finally rest...

Fredde-E, funni little guy

TL;DR - Fredde-E is THE burnt Ice-E box that was buried in the graveyard and now wants to be the king of fear. He eventually does become the king of fear through a contrived series of events and you kick his shins.

Lore - Fredde-E once wanted to make friends. He was once a humble little guy who just wanted friends...until the friend he tried to make burnt him alive and threw him in a ditch. But he felt something during that encounter, a new feeling. Something bonechilling that he had to share. He felt fear, and he wanted more of it. He took up arms, getting his claw from a...very interesting character...and went to try and scare people. Unfortunately he's adorable and no one found him scary, which really upset him...until the Fun Gang arrived and he found out about something he could do to finally be the "Nightmare-E King"...if you do his side quest he knocks you out and drags you to his lair where you have an epic anime battle with him with the Orange Soul where you kick his shins in until he feels that same feeling he felt all that time ago...but this time I'd be his last...

Tumbal, Your Old Pal

TL;DR - Locked in glass when the show was over / his body stood still and his mind would wander / a mysterious man appeared one day / and took the last bit of sanity away. / unlock the Box the Gods had forgot / and walk inside for his end was for not / one last show would be his last / but this last show would be one hell of a blast...

*snaps from the audience*

Lore - Tumbal was once the sheriff in an old western show, but when the show got canned and the cast left, he stayed behind in that set and was locked behind a pain of glass. His mind was left to rot and wither until he was demented and violent...and a strange crystal from a mysterious man only increased this. Eventually, Kris came alone and saw him behind his glass, and if you do the side quest, you and the Fun Gang will enter the set and get to meet Tumbal for one last show where you use the Green Soul and kill him.

Snakeyes, A new face in the worst of places.

TL;DR - Okay so there's Snake and there's Eyes, they may be the same person but different personalities. Gaster gives Snake a Shadow Crystal which makes him extremely violent, crazy, and obsessed with gambling. After some casual violence and being kicked to the streets, Eyes locks Snake up and he'll only show up if anything gambling were to show up which would never happen...right? They gave him dice, didn't they? Damn it.

Lore - So Snakeyes is the secret boss of a Dark Web "Chapter 2.5" Dark World. He's a "Fluffy Pony" Video. Which if you don't know, watch Cupcakes HD, then you will. Snake actually hit it off with the resident gang of the dark world and was on a hot streak...until the House decided to kick him out and rob him. He was distraught and took a strange crystal from Mr. WD Man and went insane. After beating the living hell out of the gang that threw him out, Eyes took over and was beat up and thrown to the streets. Eyes tried to lock up Snake in their mind and would only get out if anything gambling related was shown to him...and if you want to fight him, you do. Snake shows up and SUMMONS THE DEAD and you have to fight him with the Blue Soul untim you beat him up and he and Eyes die ): .

Other Secret Boss OCs I've made.

-Hattyr - A lost hat that gain the power to control the shadows and wanted to take revenge when The Spooky Bois came in and made his Dark World Spooky. He has a cool Secret boss form and you use the Orange Soul.

-Sadedown - A Reindeer Pez dispenser that Susie bit in half that took revenge by role-playing as Noelle to trick Susie to kill her for mutilating her. She uses the Blue Soul in her fight.

-Shröd - My fursona as a Chapter 2 Secret Boss thats a old folder of bad cat memes. They are definitely not Temmie trust me bro and you fight them in their Paradox Forme with the Light Blue Soul.

And that's a fraction of the secret boss ocs I'm comfortable sharing in this masterpost. I will probably be posting about them here and I hope you enjoyed at least one of my characters (let's be honest, it's Tumbal.)

deltarune theories/predictions masterpost (because you never know when toby might drop 3+4+5):

kris is dead/basically a zombie: this one's the most textually grounded, as there's a lot that seems to be foreshadowing this (e.g. them getting called the class zombie or something like that in ch. 2) - presumably they're reanimated by The Soul, which is why they can only go without it in them for a limited time

susie and/or noelle is transfem: there's no way this isn't going to happen at some point because toby is toby and he knows his fanbase. i want it to be susie because i just Feel It and i immediately called it the first time i saw her but noelle would probably be the easier one from toby's perspective (just don't give her mom antlers)

susie has a rough home life: just a guess, but it's a common trope for bully characters

berdly is dead (regardless of what route you chose in ch.2): in keeping with the theme of "your choices don't matter" - berdly will either be dead in ch. 3 or will die right off the bat, even if you played the normal route

What’s the comic gonna be about?

That Wordsearch - A Masterpost

So I got a request from @drowninnoodles on this post for an explanation of the Ice-E wordsearch and I thought, why not use the opportunity to collect together all the weirdness surrounding this wordsearch in a masterpost.

The Ice-E wordsearch is basically a two-second gag in Undertale that serves to play up Sans's laziness. The game promises a puzzle and then instead delivers you an unplayable wordsearch that does nothing, it's pretty funny.

But thanks to a little game called Deltarune, it gained a whole new dimension of weird.

This wordsearch lives rent free in my brain. It features a character only found in Deltarune... but it appears in Undertale? It's clearly from Ice-E's restaurant in Deltarune but describes the four areas of Undertale perfectly? Giasfcfebrehber?

Let me break this down.

The Undertale Interpretation

The wordsearch itself makes its only appearance in Undertale. Its purpose is just to be a somewhat functional puzzle for the purposes of the joke but many keen-eyed players noticed that there's a cool secret in it: the word list references the areas and bosses in the game. The first column describes the four areas: "fall" is the Ruins, "winter", Snowdin, "spring" Waterfall and "summer" Hotland. Corresponding to each of these is the boss in each area: "monster" refers to Toriel, "skeletons" Papyrus (Sans too, presumably), "mermaid" is Undyne and "robot" is Mettaton.

As for the final column, I did a bit of digging and thanks to this Reddit post I learned that there is an NPC that appears to be smoking a cigar in the game: one of the Snowdin library NPCs. She's also the one who happens to calls herself the "number-one word-search creator in the entire underground". (I always thought she was chewing on her pen. Guess this makes more sense.)

"Hot" seems to match the Hotland-related words on that row. As for "giasfclfebrehber", it feels like something Toby would write after he got tired of thinking up words.

The other weird little detail about this wordsearch is that when the Fun Value is set to 56 or 57, a second character appears on the wordsearch, a snowman labelled "Nightmare":

Weird.

Anyway, that's all there is to the wordsearch. The evidence pretty clearly indicates that the lady in the library made it, Sans used it as a puzzle instead of going to the effort of making his own, and there's a fun little Easter egg in the word list. Done and dusted.

Nah, just kidding. It's way more interesting than that.

The Deltarune Interpretation

So Ice-E never actually appears anywhere in Undertale.

Isn't that odd.

But one place where Ice-E very prominently DOES make an appearance is in Hometown in Deltarune. There's a restaurant called Ice-E's P"e"zza which has Ice-E as its mascot. There are several references to Ice-E in the game's dialogue and there's also a whole lot of weirdness surrounding the character of Ice-E themselves, but I'll try to stay on track and just stick to the wordsearch specifically.

Yeah... Ice-E only appears in Deltarune. Ice-E's restaurant only appears in Deltarune. The wordsearch looks remarkably like something you'd receive in a restaurant as a kid to keep you entertained while you wait for your meal.

What's something from Ice-E's restaurant doing in Undertale?

More to the point, why does Sans have it?

There are plenty of theories (better than mine) already on the topic of Sans and Papyrus originally being from Deltarune and crossing universes into Undertale, but this has got to be one of my favourite pieces of evidence for it. I made a post about it a couple of years ago which got big for some reason.

Deltarune sees the return of fan favourite characters such as Toriel, Sans, Undyne, and, in a chapter 2 exclusive, the one and only "Giasfelfebrehber"! Yes, it's that keysmash from Ice-E's wordsearch that I said Toby probably put in when he got fed up with thinking of real words.

Except it isn't! It's a single letter different to Undertale's "giasfclfebrehber"! Which, in turn, is a single letter different from the word that can actually be found in the body of the wordsearch, "giasfclfubrehber"! Why must you torment me, Toby, I have tags to write.

The word can be found in the leftmost teacup puzzle in Cyber Fields. The puzzle rewards a picture of Ice-E which glitches out, and a blue checkmark. If you speak to Susie while attempting the puzzle, she says it's "Ice-E's catchphrase".

What does it mean? Honestly, I just had a good chuckle when I first played this scene. Toby took a tiny part of a previous game and wove it into a joke five years later. But when you dig a little deeper, it's not just a punchline. Susie reckons it's Ice-E's catchphrase - and it appears in the Undertale wordsearch. Unless a) Ice-E exists in the Undertale universe and b) has the same catchphrase across all universes, this seems like pretty clear evidence that the wordsearch isn't from Undertale. The wordsearch is in the wrong game. Somehow, a little piece of paper crossed the boundary between universes.

Conclusions

(Edited now that I'm more awake)

There are plenty of incidences in Undertale and Deltarune of world-breaking between the games. Sans's dialogue in chapter 1 suggesting he knows he's met us before, Fun Value events, Clam Girl's dialogue changing just before Deltarune's release. Gaster. But the reason why the wordsearch is so interesting is because it's a tangible object. A piece of paper that's been zapped across universes and transplanted into another game. It's evidence of not just a metaphysical, but a physical connection between the two game universes.

If it turns up as an actual object in a future Deltarune chapter I'm gonna go feral.
