This is a series that did side-scrolling action platforming right. Continuing the adventure in Diddy’s Kong Quest, you take Diddy and the newly added Trixie with her set of moves giving Donkey Kong Country 2 a fresh new spin from the first game.
Released for the Super Nintendo in 1995, this time it is set in Crocodile Isle. You must navigate through challenging levels, defeat enemies, and collect bananas to rescue Donkey Kong from the clutches of the villainous Kaptain K. Rool.

Was in a Kong mood, only to find out what I was thinking to draw already had an official render. At least I got to use it as a reference towards the end. In any case, the minecart levels are a blast!
I recently refurbished a Japanese clear blue / white Nintendo N64 for a retro gamer. This console set comes with 2 games (JP DK 64 and NA Diddy Kong racing), N64 console, matching controller, wiring / cables and an expansion pak to play DK64.
Enjoy your day 😁! #nintendo #n64 #retrogamer #dk64 #diddykongracing #diddykong #donkeykong #refurbishment #refurbished
The ChiakiZine's sticker gacha has grown exponentially! With 54 total stickers spanning across the three main Danganronpa games, plus some extras, there's quite the cast to pick from!
For some reason 3 seems the least popular. Do you agree or disagree?
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, released for the Super Nintendo in 1996, continues the series with another thrilling adventure starring Dixie and Kiddy Kong.
Set in the Northern Kremisphere, players embark on a quest to rescue Donkey and Diddy Kong, who have been captured by the nefarious KAOS.
With its charming graphics, innovative level design, and catchy soundtrack, Dixie Kong's Double Trouble offers a platforming experience that delights both newcomers and longtime fans of the series.
time to start the next letter! D and the first one in the list was... Duck Dodgers Starring Daffy Duck (I accidentally got the european version so it was called "Daffy Duck Starring As Duck Dodgers" so it was first in the alphabetic order lol) anyway! I liked it, it was a pretty decent 3D platformer actually! I was gonna play the whole thing but... then it stoped working... so I moved on...
next game I plaied was one that only released in japan! Dance Dance Revolution Disney Dancing Museum is the only DDR game to release on the 64 apparently and it is... ok I guess, it is a ddr game lol, it only has a few public domain songs + disney park songs no actual disney movie/shorts/etc songs... the little animations are cute tho!
next was two fighting games in a row which I don't have much to talk about... since I dont play a lot of fighting games I will bundle them together...
first was Dark Rift which seems to be pretty story heavy, each time you chose a character it goes on a long text wall about that character's background story lol, reminded me a lot of bio freaks
The second one was Deadly Arts, that one is interesting because it lets you create a original fighter and you get new moves for them by fighting the other characters, each time you win you can grab something from their moveset, but if a move needs to be a follow up to another move you need the original to have the follow up etc
and final one i plaied this week is Destruction Derby 64 which is... interesting? I mean it is fun to drive around and hit cars and stuff, but I am not quite sure how the points for collision are calculated... and of course if you hit someone you also take damage so... you gotta do it right, also it is not just an arena destruction derby thing, 2/3 of the stages are more like infinite racings stages, with a checkpoint x timer system, you get points for reachign the checkpoints but also hitting the cars... also it only ends if you run out of time or get exploded, so I usually try to get first in points and blow up... but if there is no cars left I have to... wait the timer out...? I dont know lol
next is diddykong racing, which technically I have already plaied fully, I even own that one, but I might just... play thought it anyway hah we will see
