Hi I was wondering if you’d be okay with writing yandere Alucard (hellsing) with a human s/o. Maybe they try to escape?
You are mine~
Tumblr media
Request: Yes
Warnings: Mentions of kidnapping, blood, vampirism, typical hellsing stuff, unwilling relationship, yandere
Characters: Alucard
Franchise: Hellsing
A/N: Woo, sorry that took so incredibly long, hope this is a long the lines of what you were hoping for! Let me know if you would like a continuation or perhaps a mini series.
A dull thud beats in your head as your consciousness swims through your foggy mind, what had happened? The last thing you can remember is walking home from the store and hearing someone behind you…oh god. As you attempt to sit up you feel like you’re swimming through a thick pudding, every move makes that throbbing pain in your head a little sharper. Where are you? Heavy with a drug induced fatigue, your eye lids lazily open and close a few times as you fight to see where you are, whatever you had been dosed with it certainly worked as intended. After a few minutes, you manage to open your eyes and propr yourself up against some pillows behind you so you can look around. Deep red is the first thing you register, the silken texture had made the fight to sit up that much harder for you, and now that you can see what it is apart of clearly the panic worms its way in. A small voice in the back of your muddled mind that something isn’t quite right. A thick duvet had been over you before you moved and now it rests heavy on your lower half. Underneath you, dark red silken sheets cradle you in a luxurious hold that threatens to lull you back to sleep, but you can’t go to sleep again, you need to figure out where you are. Slowly, you move your legs, sliding them across the sheets towards the floor. The moment your feet hit the cold stone floor you recoil and hiss, the coolness waking you up a bit further. Now the room seems less bleary and you can see the grey stone walls stacked up like the bricks of a house, and the equally stone floor that is cold to the touch. As your eyes adjust to the dim candle light, you spot a staircase leading up, up, up, into the darkness where you can just barely hear faint sounds echoing down. Fueld by the need to escape, to get away from this dark place, you steel yourself and step back down onto the floor beneath you. Fighting through the shivers that wrack your body as the chill touches your bones. After somewhat getting used to the chill in the air all down in this, what you assume to be, cellar, you walk towards the steps and one by one climb up the staircase only to find a locked heavy oak door.
You don’t give up, heading back down the stairs to look from some other way out. A lone window above the bed of your new eclosure catched your desperate eye and you quickly move over to it climbing on the bed. Your hands press against the window and it just barely has any give except for in one corner where the pane of glass seems to be looser. Looking out of it it seems to ground level if a little above it and you would be able to get out of it. You push, all of your weight leing on that one slightly less stable corner until the glass budges and a small piece of stone falls from under it. You quickly pick up this new tool and make use of it hitting the glass until that corner breaks apart from it. You curl your fingers around the open piece and take a deep inhale as you breathe in the crisp night air. It burns a little, the coolness of it, but you couldn’t be more grateful for such a feeling. pUshing and pulling against the window you finally make the glass come out in a few pieces. The rock serves as a tool for removing the sharper edges that were too stubborn to move by your hands alone, and finally you begin to shimmy through the window and onto the dew covered grass outside.
When you stand, you stretch and sigh, the feeling of the grass between your toes and up your ankles tickling your bare skin. The gentle midsummer night breeze that catches you and ruffles your hair, you hm’t even been in their for very long but this feeling felt as if you’d never felt it before. You don’t linger on this though, as the anxiety sets in and you pick a direction to start running in. North, this is the way your feet choose to take you as you run from what you ca now see to be a manor or estate of some kind. Dwelling on it isn’t within your line of thought as you run into some wood, the full moon shining bright over head. Branches and thorny vines catch at your clothes and skin, they create tears and light scratches on your clothes and skin and you close your eyes willing yourself to go faster and faster until the feeling beneath your feet changes to a hard unpleasant feeling. A light on the black of the road beneath you makes you snap your head to the left where two large headlights comes zooming at you., just as you are about to feel the harsh cold of metal and death a different kind of chill picks you up, and the feeling of gravity no longer weighs you down. You can hear the car swear nd crash and you an feel the breeze brush past your legs as the ground stays ever stationary below you. Much farther below you…you look up to see blood red eyes and a large grin staring at you their black ahired owner letting out a loud laugh,
“Where do you think you are going. Hm? You belong to me, little one, you are not going anywhere.” He says, his voice a deep velevty smooth as he speaks. It almost has you, until the sounds of panicked drivers bring you back. You kick and squirm only to grasp on to the stranger again when you nearly fall.
“Put me down!” You shout, trying to move barley doing so against his strong hold.. For a moment he does nothing but watch you squirm, predatorial eyes hidden behind his orange glasses before a wolfish grin spread across his face.
“Let you down? As you wish, little human,”
You feel the wind rush past your ears as your heart plummets to the round much like yourself and as you close your eyes to wait for impact, it never comes. You are in the arms of your kidnapper once again. The feeling of your body shaking against his, the scent of your fear and the blood in your veins rushing everywhere as fast as it can is enough to make him chuckle as he looks down at your quivering form.. Despite the initial fear of being dropped from so high in the air, you manage to glare at him and through chattering teeth mutter.
“Asshole…”
His smirk level leaves his face and a feeling of nausea washes over your mind , feeling your stomach turn you close your eyes and try to will it away only to open your eyes to the same room you had woke up in. The window seems to be fixed and you doubt that you’ll be able to break it again, whatever he is, you bet he has some sort of magic that would prevent you from doing what you did the first time a second. As you look around you find that the sheets are perfectly tucked in around you again. In the corner of the room, sitting in an ornate chair like a king on his throne your capture sits watching you’re every move.
“Thinking about escaping again, little bride?”

⋆。˚What jobs i think david tennant chatacters would have in an au where they don't do what they do in the fictional story⋆。˚
Tumblr media
Campbell bain: illustartator or work in a music store yapping about his favourite albums.
Tumblr media
Alec Hardy: Any kind of detective job wich isnt DI as in the series, i honestly don't really see the guy with any other job mostly as the whole series is basically kind of about him being a DI so this one is hard.
Tumblr media
Crowley: An actor, as the dr who franchise exists in good omens he 100% played the doctor just cuz he wanted to test acting out and ended up secretly loving it or he'd either be a massive punk who just rebels and pickpockets or something.
Tumblr media
The (10th) doctor: One of those guys who makes travel/nature documenties. I mean, he's always running and knows about loads of things so he would 100% yapp about it to a camera.
Tumblr media
Peter vincent: some kind of scammer or drug dealer lets be honest.

Okay, so let's talk about Cyberpsychosis.
Cyberpsychosis is a controversial element of the Cyberpunk franchise. It was created as a game balance mechanic, to prevent characters in the TTRPG from loading themselves up with tons of powerful cybernetics. The way it works is similar to Sanity mechanics in some horror games: you have an Empathy stat, which can be raised or lowered by events, and is lowered by installing cyberware. Once your Empathy drops to zero, your character goes Cyberpsycho and starts a murderous rampage.
This is, of course, quite ableist, both from the direction of maligning people with low empathy, and from the implication that having prosthetics reduces your humanity.
Cyberpunk 2077 features Cyberpsychos in a series of side missions, where you're asked to investigate Cyberpsycho sightings and defeat the Cyberpsychos nonlethally so they can receive psychiatric treatment.
There are seventeen of these missions in all, and three more side-missions where you fight Cyberpsychos. And one thing that I noticed was that many of these encounters had wildly differing motivations for the killings each person committed? Almost every one of them seemed to have some external reason behind their actions, beyond "going Cyberpsycho". To quickly sum it up:
Attacked People Who Tortured Them: 3
Attacked People Who Wronged Them: 3
Had Their Brain Hacked: 5
Self-Defense: 2
Committing Regular Crime: 1
Accident: 1
Genuine Mental Health Issues: 2 (1 diagnosed case of PTSD, 1 undiagnosed case of paranoid delusions)
Combination of the Above: 2 (1 Tortured + Self Defence, 1 Wronged + Self Defence)
Unknown: 1
...so. Only one Cyberpsycho in this game actually fits the definition of Cyberpsycho, and that's the nameless one who attacks the high-end clothing store in the mission Bullets. Who you never investigate the backstory of, unlike all the rest.
Only a handful report mental health issues linked to their cyberware: one guy talks about disassociation from his implants (which he treats with a street drug, suffers horrific withdrawals, and attacks a warehouse with drugs that can treat the withdrawal symptoms); and another reports "convulsions, cramps, inability to turn off cyberware, and aggression" which all seem to indicate a physical malfunction (she's listed under self-defense as her bosses sent a hit squad instead of paramedics).
It genuinely looks like Cyberpsychosis doesn't actually exist. That all these people had understandable reactions to horrible events, aggravated by their easy access to guns and the fact their bodies were filled with deadly technology.

Urban Gods Worship System
(I'm terrible at posting information about this project xD; )
So in the world of Urban Gods, it's basically the world of the myths, they just have cars and Instagram (btw, I'm open to suggestions on how to make "Instagram" a Greek mythology pun xD), and I wanted to come up with a replacement for animal sacrifices since that's no longer really a thing in our modern day society. While it is common to use altar worship, item and food offerings and prayers of a lot of modern worshippers in our world, since this is a world where gods are also active members of society, there's another, far more popular method - patronizing establishments owned by the gods themselves.
Several major gods own restaurants, hotels, chain stores and other establishments, while more minor gods, as well as nymphs, satyrs, and other benign creatures, will often be employed there. The following is a master list of establishments I have plotted out so far, and who owns and works for them...
Hades - Inferis - A subterranian casino resort in Athens; Charon, the Furies and the Keres will cycle working the different security posts, Thanatos works as waitstaff in the bar/restaurant areas, Hypnos works the front desk on the hotel side, Hecate appears to work some sort of upper management position, and Minthe works as the casino host at the beginning of the story, eventually being replaced by Persephone. Hermes frequently works as a bartender, and all other positions are often filled by unnamed nymphs, gorgons, and other Underworld creatures.
Zeus - Vronti - A luxury hotel chain, with the flagship location in Athens, overlooking the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Thetis works as the concierge, Hermes will work odd jobs throughout the whole building, Hephaestus leads the maintenance crew, and Hera appears to have some sort of job there, but it's somewhat unclear exactly what as through most of the story she and Zeus are hovering between their good terms and their bad terms xD
Poseidon - Atlantis - A small chain of beach tiki bars with "hidden" drug den areas. I haven't quite worked out where the flagship location is, but most of the time the location seen is the one in Athens. And yes... Athena hates that he has a location in Athens, which Poseidon denies being because of his grudge. Claims, "Well, my brothers have their flagship locations here, mortals would ask questions if I didn't, too...!" Pretty much all positions are filled by different sea nymphs and creatures and aren't individually identified yet.
Demeter and Dionysus - A farm/vineyard in Sicily with a shop attached. Basically it's an enormous farm property that different parts are run by Demeter or Dionysus, Persephone basically runs the shop, Plutus offers financial consulting, Triptolemus cares for the animals on site, and various nymphs and satyrs assist in other areas. Additionally, Dionysus also works as the drink master for all three of the kings' establishments.
Athena - A university in Athens. Not much else is developed about it so far as the only scene written involving it is a brief shot of a classroom and just exposits how the gods are "technically not related" according to my world, but Athena is the dean as well as teaching classes.
Hephaestus - Has no direct stores or anything, but is basically the diving force behind mortals developing computers and robotics.
Ares - Basically runs the this world's equivalent to the UFC, which, because it's run by Ares is a mite more violent than in our world. He also has a gym he operates in Sparta that Phobos and Deimos can often be seen working as personal trainers ar.
Aphrodite - A chain of adult toy stores that are franchised to Eros and the rest of her and Ares' kids, while she'll also offer love advice for a fee at the flagship location in Sparta (somewhere within walking distance to Ares' gym).
Apollo - Works as a pop idol, beyond that I don't really have much developed.
Artemis - Like Apollo, not very developed yet, but the idea that she runs a popular hunting blog.
Hestia - Owns a spa resort known for its luxurious food and services.
More will be edited in as I develop more/remember things as I was sick from stress at the original time of posting this. Follow me for more updates on this project and incorrect quotes! :)

schitt’s creek au 👀🙏🏼
I need to just give myself permission to write the fun parts of this and let the rest sort itself out because I got kind of bogged down in things like I don't know how real estate and video store franchising work. And also how do I keep Robin from killing Steve when he first gets there. But here's the meet cute.
---
The party is exactly what Chrissy said it would be. Big bonfire. A couple kegs. A bunch of locals getting drunk, getting loud, hooking up. Steve looks around for Chrissy, making his way through the crowd. He doesn’t see her, and being around these yokels is depressing. He grabs a beer and does another pass through the crowd, looking for anyone who’d make a good picture. He doesn’t need to advertise that he’s at a shitty party, but a kiss with someone hot might make Stavros regret not taking Steve to Greece instead of that inferior twink.
Steve looks through the crowd around the fire to a guy standing a bit away from the rowdy center of the party. Long hair. Leather jacket. Shit-kicker boots. Steve can see a tantalizing bit of ink on his hand as he lights a cigarette. A bit more ink peeking out of the worn neckline of his tshirt. He looks like the kind of guy that'll sell you drugs or steal your wallet.
Perfect.
The camera is already open on Steve’s phone as he steps in close to the guy. Steve takes a fist full of his shirt in hand to keep him from stepping back as Steve plants one on him. The phone clicks and Steve's glancing over at it, about to take one more. The guy cups Steve's chin. Warm fingers insistent, turning Steve away from the phone. Turning the glancing, awkward mash of their lips together into something that catches. Steve opens up, unthinking, for the heat of his mouth. The hand tight on his waist urges him closer, into the brush of leather, the heat of a body up against his. There's a lazy confidence to the way the guy slips him a little tongue. Steve leans into it, into him.
And the guy steps back.
It takes Steve a second to let go of the grip he has on the guy's shirt. To remember why he came over here. His phone. Right. He never did get that second pic. He licks his lower lip. His eyes still on the guy. On his mouth. When he looks up enough to catch the guy's eye, the cocky quirk of his eyebrow, he can feel his face going hot.
Jesus.
Why is this guy even getting to him? Steve's flirted his way out a Saudi prince's compound. He made it through two countries without a passport. He got into KissKiss without a lock of human hair. He does not get flustered. Especially not by small town guys with hair like they've been in a bunker since the 80s, and tattoos, and rough fingers and that infuriatingly amused look on their face.
"Um," Steve says. The guy's smile gets wider. Fuck.

Value Boosters in Bloomburrow.
With the discontinuation of the draft booster, there was a void in the market for a cheaper booster product. Play boosters typically cost between 4 dollars and 6 dollars, depending on the set, and that is actually quite expensive for a casual experience. The audience has been demanding a cheaper booster product because people like the thrill and excitement of cracking packs. The adrenaline is quite addictive and that experience can not be matched by opening a preconstructed starter deck or commander deck. Even so, they did attempt to put a taste of opening packs into commander decks in the form of the collector booster sample pack. Wizards of the Coast's market research must show that adding the collector booster to commander decks leads to more people going out and buying more product. The sample pack is not meant to be a free include but is meant to mimic the, "first one is free," drug mentality that gets so many people hooked. The starter decks and commander decks do a great job, value value, of giving players a product that they can play right out of the box and upgrade over time. Yet, you need to know your market! Of course, you should buy the singles you need and not risk your money on what is essentially a mystery box. However, that is simply not the reality of our world. People want to open pack. Players want to experience the rush of tearing the pack open and smelling the new cards. The sense of excitement as you flip through the cards. Your anticipation builds as you get closer to the pack hit. The, either you hit big and want to relive the experience or you miss and you feel the urge to open more packs until your body feels the reward chemicals released into your body. The value boosters are merely a product meant to prey on our emotions and desires using research to maximize squeezing money out of groups of people. That can not be replicated by buying cards on the secondary market. Wizards is selling a feeling. Other companies like card kingdom or tcgplayer sell cards. It is possible to sell emotions for a reasonable price but these products typically target people with addictive personalities and are exploitative. Do I think this new value booster is any more exploitative than any other random booster product? Currently, there are are a lot of unkowns. First, the price of a pack, or even an approximate price, has not been stated. There is no more msrp but they sometimes include an approximate cost. In the very short article that introduces this product, there is no discussion of the price. It is only stated that this is a more budget-friendly option for players that just want to open cards. The price is going to matter. Sometimes I would see pokemon or yugioh cards in family dollar or dollar tree. These packs were only a dollar and less than two dollars. As a parent, shutting my kid up with a one dollar pack while I shop could prove worth it. How many times did you beg your parent for something in a store as a kid that you didn't even really want? Getting mtg cards into these dollar stores will widen the audience that is exposed to the game. Now, kids will start to recognize mtg from a younger age because they see the products alongside pokemon cards. If the price of a pack is less than 2 dollars, I will say that the value pack will be a success. It is a cheap way to get cards into the hands of a younger audience. Society is typically much more ok with spending a buck or two on something rather than 5 dollars. Wizards of the Coast is releasing this new product to widen the brand and not really to sell more cards. These value packs are meant to expose children to mtg when they are young as an on ramp to the game when they are a little older. if I have mtg cards as a kid and then I see a crossover with my favorite franchise, then these marketing strategies are meant to continuously draw people back into the game. Expose someone to something when they are young and you may have hooked them for the rest of their lives.

Things you rarely see today but used to be in every town (quoting Wikipedia, there were "12,000 stores across the United States from 1920 to 1977"): Rexall Drugs. Above are two of the store in the town where I grew up from the mid-1980s. Rexall still exists in some way -- they're all over Canada as a thriving company, yet are sporadically around the United States (such as Ranko's in Tacoma) because the chain dissolved but some former franchise stores have kept the name.
There's only one vestage of the once-mighty Rexall Drugs still in existance and you've been there: Corporate decided they wanted to try competing with 7-Eleven in 1958, and created six stores in Los Angeles under the name "Pronto Mart". In time Rexall decided to end that venture, but the man managing the stores bought them out instead of closing them. The manager was Joe Coulombe and the stores (after a change in name and marketing direction) are now called Trader Joe's.
Bonus note about this particular store, which closed around 1987: The signage on the corner over the entrance says it was also a member of the IDL drugstores (Independant Drug League), which disbanded in the 1960s yet I recall there being several drugstores in my neck of the woods that still used the name into the 1980s. The logo is half-obscured in my photos so here it is another way:

Misconduct Chapter 2
2.6k For now this chapter is just needed information. The meeting between Tseng and Genesis. Over the next week I'll be adding a couple of other chapters.
“You’re late.”
It appears as though Genesis is already grating at Tseng’s nerves. The expression crossing Tseng’s features made it known he was far less than pleased by Genesis’ punctuality. Well lack thereof. The way Genesis sauntered in the room as though he had not a concern in the world. Sipping on a bottle of Banora White juice, truly not a care in the world. His eyes scanned across the room before meeting Tseng’s gaze. “At the very least, Tseng, you could have pulled a seat up for me.”
“I expect everyone who works under me to be punctual. There are no exceptions. Especially those I’m doing a favor for.” Tseng’s voice calm, and emphasized the ‘favor’ portion of his statement. He didn’t expect working with Genesis to be easy. Tseng knows, fully, how difficult working with Genesis could be. There wasn’t much of a choice after Rufus stated outright, he only wanted Tseng indirectly working on this assignment from here on out. It was impossible to take him away from this mission with the amount of information he’s gathered over the years. Rufus merely thought Tseng’s skills could be used in a more efficient manner, or so he claimed.
Wheeling one of the chairs from the desk in the center of the office, setting it in front of Tseng’s desk. As Genesis took his seat, setting his drink on the desk now before him, crossing his legs and leaning back in his seat as he regarded Tseng. “It was five minutes. Is there no grace period around here?”
Tseng genuinely struggled to prevent himself from rolling his eyes. Having his own rather rowdy crew to deal with, now the addition of Genesis. They had no choice but to rely on someone else, the other Turks failing to cover nearly the amount of ground in which Tseng was able to. Not even coming close, something Tseng couldn’t quite comprehend. In parallel it was completely reasonable, it took a special kind of skill to get close to their target. “There’s no such thing as a grace period in our line of work. If you’re not early, you are late. Even a few seconds can determine if you will succeed or fail.” A small smirk gracing Tseng’s face, “I don’t think I need to go into too much detail. You’ll hear all of this during your safety training.”
The smugness in Genesis’ features faltered for a moment, the jab at, what he felt like, was his pride immediately sparking irritation within him. “What role do you want me to play in your childish schemes? It looks like a desperate move to have an outsider do your work.” Genesis’ mind was filled with questions regarding why he had to pair up with the Turks. They’ve reached out to SOLDIER before for assistance on plenty of missions, but nothing long term.
Pulling out a rather large binder, setting it down before Genesis. “There’s a lot, so try to follow along the best you can.” Standing up, Tseng walks over to the wall mounted monitor behind his desk. Powering it on, the screen illuminates with a blue hue before transitioning to a powerpoint like screen, various charts appear spread about, “This is a quick overview of the sudden spike in crime through sectors one through three. Mostly violence and drug related crimes. Both seem to be going hand and hand as most of the perpetrators that have been brought in display similar symptoms that are causing them to lash out. After questioning many of them we found out they appear to be coming from a similar source, though we are positive there is a far larger source.” Using the remote to bring a new slide into view, a series of buildings. By the appearance of the storefront it was a small franchise, specializing in herbal remedies. A map, in the bottom left corner of the monitor, pinpointing the locations of each store. Noting that they franchise started with a store in sector three nearly five years ago. With two more locations opening up earlier in the year.
Putting two and two together, Genesis pieces together the correlation of the conversation at hand and the images of the businesses “Not to criticize your, oh so wonderfully structured government, but a ‘herbal supply’ does sound a bit obvious. So is it that surprising?” Genesis couldn’t resist his urge to comment, the very concept throwing red flags. Images of the inside of the store showed a very clean and organized environment, products placed neatly in glass cases on the side of each wall with a few shelves in the middle of the floor. Not a very large place at all, each store having a similar layout to another. “The decorations kind of scream ‘drugs’ may I add.”
Tseng could do without the interruptions but he couldn’t deny that Genesis was right. For the past half year they’ve taken to regularly sending in health inspectors which require testing of the product being sold. Unless the inspectors were in on whatever plans this franchise had, Tseng would assume they were innocent. However, that couldn’t be the case. “It is just a front, a way for them to do business discreetly. So far we don’t have any physical proof that these stores are truly attached to the spike in crime, they do a good job at keeping it all under wraps. We do, however, have a crack in their foundation. Not a very large one, but if you can get through to them, you might have a solid lead.”
As the slide transitioned Genesis couldn’t help the coy smile playing on his lips as he examined the image of you on the screen. A cheeky mugshot, smiling proudly as if you just won the jackpot. “This must be our little criminal. That is certainly a shame,” his eyes following along the screen, taking note of your preexisting criminal record. Scanning over the portion highlighting your record. “Violent little thing.” Noting the numerous assault related offenses. Another charge for distributing illegal substances along with weapon violations. “Certainly not an upstanding citizen of Midgar. You didn’t think to lock them away by now?”
“(y/n) (l/n). They have a way with Shinra’s legal system. Though, we keep rather close tabs on them due to her past affiliations in the slums, namely, Don Corneo.” Tseng, motioning to the binder that was set in front of Genesis. “Everything you need to know about their past is heavily documented. You need to be well informed with who you will be dealing with, so I suggest you do a bit of studying. They have a tendency to be incredibly elusive and have a persuasive way of talking or guiding people that are investigating them to redirect their attention elsewhere. Their mannerisms are also documented, you need to know exactly what to look for when you two speak. More than likely will resort to being deceitful within seconds, very guarded.”
“You know Tseng, if you’re already so knowledgeable on this case,” Genesis states matter of factly, pausing a moment before saying what’s on his mind. He’s certain none of the other Turks would be efficient enough to document so much detail about anyone or anything, “Why aren’t you covering it if you’re already so deeply acquainted?”
A question that makes Tseng visibly bristle, his body tensing at the intrusive question, otherwise giving away no indication that he was bothered. “I’m needed for more important tasks, I will still be working on this case. Albeit it’s from a distance, I’ll be your assistance. This task cannot be done by you alone. It will take a team effort. Though we could have tried resorting to our other Turks, they’re familiar with them and won’t cooperate. Someone else needs to get as close to them as I did. While not a perfect fit, you should do.”
While a little outdated, the information displayed had your last known address and pictures of the outside of the residence. Every entrance and window was detailed, down to how they opened. Images of your daily driver and the numerous license plates you were caught using appearing under the photo of your car. A mild look of surprise crossing Genesis’ features, his voice mirroring his disbelief. “I see this car every other morning. If they don’t live near me, they certainly frequent the area a lot.”
“Are you certain it’s the same car?”
“Drives like a total asshole? Unbearably loud motor, smells like it gives off more pollution than the reactors? Will nearly kill anyone just to be stuck at the red light with us?”
“Sounds about right.” Tseng can’t help the ghost of a smirk playing on his lips. You were always a rowdy one, it didn’t matter what you were doing. Your fiery personality displays in every action you perform. “Next time you see this car, I want you to trail it. Keep a healthy distance, you have to remain undetectable. They will catch on pretty fast, if your presence is detected. If they opt to evade, you let it happen. You’ll be a new face to them, and that should instill a level of paranoia within their mind. That’s not what we want, not yet anyways.” Tseng knows all too well how you operate, this is why he makes this request. “They don’t frequent the same location regularly, always on a randomized schedule. Just a tactic used to throw anyone off. They have a typical day to day routine, each activity will swap times each day. I want you to find out if they’ve added anything new to their routine.”
Genesis can’t help the frown taking place on his face. Following you wouldn’t be a problem. Using his personal vehicle for work was a problem, especially putting one of his prized possessions at risk. Being a man of finer taste Genesis went out of his way to make sure his car was one of a kind. “Do I get a company car for this?”
Tseng truly didn’t want to entertain this question, yet he had to make it clear to Genesis that any order was to be fulfilled. No matter the circumstance, “You could be riding a bicycle and I fully expect you to pursue them. I will supply you with anything I see fit.” In short, it wasn’t a no. There wasn’t a need to change vehicles just yet. “Even seeing a new vehicle in their usual commute has caused them to change routes in the past. If you tip them off, we’ll discuss it.”
As Genesis flips through the binder of information, it seems like all of the information on you has been very well documented. The data goes as deep as your childhood. All of your previous addresses logged into a list, the numerous places they could find you in the slums, all of your associates and family members. The pages highlighting your time in Wall Market were the lengthiest. Starting out your path of self destruction with that area at fifteen. It was almost odd to Genesis how Shinra felt the need to monitor you so closely rather than arresting you and charging you properly for everything you’ve done. Maybe an inside source, thinking back to Tseng’s comment on how you ‘have a way with Shinra’s legal system.’
Allowing Genesis time to skim over your file. Tseng watches his face go through a small flurry of emotions. Mostly Genesis raising an eyebrow here and there, nodding his head and giving a disapproving grunt as he continued reading more about you.
It made sense to Genesis now, dealing with you truly was the punishment. While in his eyes he immediately saw a criminal that probably didn’t have a thought in their head, you were almost an expert when it came to organized crime. For the last two years it seems you haven’t been up to any trouble, nothing more than boring day to day data taken down. Your current employment at “Gaia's Elixir” herbal supply being one of the first jobs listed since your teenage years, starting around the same date the location in sector two opened. It makes sense to assume you were tied into these strange occurrences with the occupants of Midgar and the timing of your presence at your, for lack of better words, job. Your past heavily inclining you would continue your previous actions. Finally asking the question Genesis dreaded the most, uttering out in a resigned tone as he leaned back into his seat. “What do you need me to do?”
Tseng, reclaiming his seat across from Genesis, using one of the arm rests to prop his chin in his hand while giving a thoughtful look before straightening his posture. “I think it would be best to befriend them first. They’re more willing to do so if the person they would be acquainted with can do something for them. Your high rank within Shinra for example, something that could be taken advantage of. In theory you could help them get away with plenty of unlawful acts. I suggest meeting them in as casual of a way as possible. Outlined in the pages regarding their general affairs, you’ll find bars, restaurants, parks etcetera that I’ve known them to frequent. Time yourself accordingly and it can go in your favor. That’s your main objective for now. Next we’ll focus on pinning whatever charges we can gather on them so we can bring them in for questioning. Any other questions?”
He nearly wanted to mention the Turks usual interrogation tactics. Fully aware of how underhanded they could be about most of the cases they handle. Perhaps if the circumstances were different they would have brought you in and forced any information out of you. ‘Can’t take the same approach every time,’ Genesis thought to himself, unable to conjure up any questions to ask. Considering anything he would want to know seems to be right before him. “And when do I start?”
“Right now.” Pulling a PHS from his pocket, handing it over to Genesis as Tseng provides the final details, “This is to stay with you at all times. I’ll be tracking your location and will get notified whenever you begin moving. This is also your only way to contact me, the number is already saved. You’re also required to answer at all times. What you’re doing doesn’t matter. You are free to go now. Remember, the moment you see their car-”
“Follow them, I got it.” Genesis didn’t like hearing that in the slightest, his tone making it clear. To constantly be watched by Tseng couldn’t possibly be a good thing. His micromanaging ways would quickly wear down on Genesis nerves, almost positive Tseng would pay him random visits while working alongside him. The when and where Tseng would pop up was on Genesis’ mind. Pocketing the PHS as he got up from his seat, picking up the binder while making a mental note to keep it somewhere secure. To Tseng’s displeasure leaving the seat Genesis moved from its usual home left out of place.
Before Genesis could reach the door, Tseng’s voice rang out, “By the way, I’ll send over a copy of your safety training schedule. Luckily for you, it’s three days out of the week.” Watching as Genesis walked out of the door without a word. Tseng couldn’t help but sigh, envisioning how this mission would be carried out. His hopes weren’t high, but he knew as long as he worked with Genesis it had the potential to be completed.
******
sidenote:Adding Tseng in last minute caused this story to change drastically, but I think it was for the better. Wanted to give more of an update but I'll be adding a couple of more chapters throughout the week. Also mid way through (I don't know why) started typing this out as though reader was female. If i missed any pronouns I didn't make gn please let me know. Though I called myself combing through it numerous times.

I think Jimmy has multiple handles, not all of them connected to each other. he has one that he started in school, for work, consisting exclusively of his own photos, carefully curated to best show off his work. only the pieces he's the proudest of, and then occasional pictures of prints in a home or gallery - most of these self-promotion, but he'll also share pictures from fans who've bought one of his prints. this is on his own website that he carefully maintains. it uses his real name and has contact information, and he takes commissions on occasion.
then he has the normal social media presence someone might expect from his age, using the same name across multiple sites, something cute but inoffensive. these also mostly consist of his own photos, but not nearly as carefully curated, just careful to make sure there's no drugs or nudity, anything that might cause trouble in the workplace, because he lists his professional website right there. a lot of the photos are blurry or badly framed, because they're mostly pictures of his friends, funny signs, cute dogs he saw on the beach. a lot of them get turned into reaction memes even though he only has a handful of followers, and he finds that funny. he doesn't really do a lot with those accounts, though, not even bothering with custom themes. his icons are all unedited selfies.
he has Flamebird, of course. he doesn't attach any of his other social media to it, and he doesn't advertise it anywhere else, but it's not like he makes it hard to find him. he's happy showing his face in his videos, even if most of them consist of footage of other things. there are some topics he'll avoid on there, so it doesn't come back to bite him, but he does his research, everything is as sourced as it can be, and he's not really worried about being accused of journalistic misconduct. he just doesn't want to attract controversy - or at least not based on his other work, because he does have a mirror running on every social media site he can find, as well as his own site.
the one he hides - not from his friends and family, who mostly follow it obsessively - is for that very reason. it's a food review blog. and people have opinions! it started out because he was trying out all the cheap options near school, and wanted somewhere to catalog them all to make recommendations to his fellow students. but he realized that all sorts of people want food that's quick and cheap, but still delicious, so he made a point of going around reviewing all the food trucks and fast food restaurants, anywhere but sitdown places really. prepackaged food from convenience stores, quick microwave meals (as long as they won't stink up the office), sometimes even popular recipes for packed lunch. the only dine-in restaurants he reviews are pizza places, because for some reason, his pizza reviews are the absolute most popular of them all. (he'll go in somewhere and order all dozen of their specials. he takes Clark. there are no leftovers.)
one day all of these collide. the founder of his favorite pizza place, now a small local franchise, is getting an award from the city for feeding everyone after a small disaster, and Jimmy is so excited to see it. so he goes to the ceremony - this guy isn't really famous, so there's only a handful of reporters and he gets a spot up front - and takes a bunch of pictures of this. one of them turns out gorgeous, so he carefully edits it and puts it up on his website - and the city finds it and gives him a small local artists' grant, with his own little ceremony. the pizza guy loves it, and orders a bunch of prints. Jimmy admits that's his favorite pizza joint, and they work it out so he gets rights to the photograph for advertising and such, and Jimmy gets free pizza for life. (don't worry, he promises not to reveal that Jimmy is a secret food reviewer, so restaurants don't treat him any different.) and then, of course, it turns out he saw a Flamebird video he was so happy to learn about, because he knows what's on it is true.

Places Around the World (P1)
⸻Salem's Crossing, Miami, FL.
Located in the underbelly of Miami, Salem's Crossing serves one of many meeting places for supernaturals alongside Time's Square in New York, Alcatraz in San Francisco, The Denver Pavilions in Colorado, and others. It behaves as a sort of 'pocket dimension', a place separate from the non-magic world, and all entrances into this 'dimension' can be closed at-will from any suspiciously prying eyes. This easy departure from the world as a whole allows the supernatural world to remain hidden and inaccessible to non-magic people and even other sorcerers if necessary. The presiding sorcerers have a tendency to move entrances as well, thus further preventing detection from non-magic folk in accordance with the Secrecy & Safety Statutes agreed upon by Sorciers and the USDRS.
Aesthetically, Salem's Crossing might appear as a place 'out of time' as it maintains a strange mashup of French, Spanish, and contemporary magic and non-magic motifs, decor, and other design choices from prior eras (chiefly the 1800s). For example: The Bubbler's Brew looks akin to an old carnival ground, dripping in Vaudevillian presentation and Creole ornamentation; The Tattered Cover looks like any old bookstore you might find in, say, Salem itself, with northern coastal construction and plain color schemes, though the inside is a bit of a different story for obvious reasons; and so on.
It is connected to Salem, Mass. and is widely regarded as a more culturally diverse extension of the city, merely located in Miami, FL.
The street all the important shops are on is named Rum-Runner's Circle, and it serves as a sort of hub for the Southern sorcerer states in 'dimensional' conjunction with New Orleans' French Quarter. This is also where the first Gildebanque's was opened, with the other two in Time's Square and Alcatraz respectively (Gildebanque's is run by the Gilde Family and Tommy-knockers, landmark accomplishment in unifying supernaturals).

Individual Locations
Nightingale's, a general sorcery supply store based in Salem's Crossing, established in 1732. Owned and operated by Talula Burke, who was the Summoning professor at Belegerande's in the 80's. This is the best place to go when shopping for school or to resupply on the basics.
Bubbler's Brew, an apothecary based in Salem's Crossing, established in 1949 by the Oddry-Collins family. Their inventory contains all the ingredients necessary to brew a fine restorative, invisibility potion, something that'll make you grow taller, shorter, rounder, balder-- If you've the money for it, they do also have rarer ingredients, from blackwyrm organs and glands to whole firenewts, dragon eggshell, dragon glass, whole styxie, boonie wings, crocodingo glow sacs, drakodil feet, and plenty, plenty more. All ingredients are ethically sourced uwu !
The Tattered Cover, a bookstore containing magical and mundane publications of most types, connecting Salem's Crossing with the heart of Denver. Working in conjunction with smaller bookstores, an intricate web strings together yet more populations of supernaturals. In a way, it's more or less a supernatural highway with revolving doors and a bookshop.
Gretle's, once known as 'Of Arsenic & Sugar' and 'The Sug' (Dale Gribble's wife opened this place), is a candy and snack franchise that's been around since 1801. Run by witches with a unique talent for it, it's been pumping out all sorts of famous magical confections such as FrankenLeeches, Snallygobsters, among others.
Strychnine Theater, which isn't so much a theater as it is an event arena held entirely underground in Salem's Crossing that is generally used for illegal dueling tournaments among other illegal activities. It was once a highly respected institution, the scene of many elegant magical plays, operas, and other acts, but fell into shabbyness and disrepair, then to crime and cruelty, with the introduction of the drug Noxium, which has the same effect as heroin when ingested (but was otherwise a great topical ointment for snap-trap bites), by poachers, scoundrels, the odd murderer or two, etc. Now, it's a hotbed for all manners of illegal activity.
Mirewood Crossroads, which is simply another name for any liminal space throughout the swamps of the South, most of which are defunct or overtaken by poachers, drug dealers, murderers, ambitious thieves, the vilest necromancers who've no respect for the dead, unchecked vampires, frogmen, wild animals, supernatural beasts, and other such things. Nothing's been quite right about them either, not since they'd been mostly abandoned. Who knows what may be found there? Maybe a mirror or two remains active. The Mirewood Crossroads locations that are still in use today are located in the town square of Salem's Crossing, Belle's Hollow in Belle Valley (named for Alistair Belegerande's beloved wife, Isabella), one in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama.
Fleur de Lis', Very Nice™️ supernatural fashion store located in Salem's Crossing, run by Fortuna Damaris - the only known true fae in North america. She broke away from the Court to pursue her dream, connecting with the strange, mortal, and human, and create. Since the 1850's, she's been happily running Fleur de Lis' and has a permanent business contract with both Belegerande's and Madame Scrivener's schools. She alone designs and produces their school uniforms, drapes, bedding, etc. Fleur de Lis' as a business has exceptional marks, but is quite expensive.

hello fellow canadians
If you haven't heard already, the past month a movement has started to boycott Loblaws and the various franchises that the parent company owns (which is a lot, our whole grocery market is basically owned by 3 companies)
Tumblr media
List of Subsidiaries: Loblaws, Atlantic Superstore, Dominion Stores, Extra Foods, Fortinos, Freshmart, Maxi, No Frills, No Name, President's Choice, President's Choice Financial, Provigo, Real Canadian Liquorstore, Real Canadian Superstore, Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, SuperValu, T & T Supermarket, Valu-mart, Your Independent Grocer, and Zehrs Markets.
The movement has been mostly organized on reddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/loblawsisoutofcontrol
There is also a house of commons petition;
If anything getting the conversation going about this is a great first step. I know we can't all just avoid certain places, specially if it's the only grocery store nearby.

Welcome to Aurora Bay, [FREYA DAVIS]! I couldn’t help but notice you look an awful lot like [EMMA STONE]. You must be the [THIRTY-THREE] year old [FORMER REALITY TV STAR]. Word is you’re [AFFABLE] but can also be a bit [VINDICTIVE] and your favorite song is [SWEET CREATURE BY HARRY STYLES]. I also heard you’ll be staying in [AURORA BAY DRIVE]. I’m sure you’ll love it!
Tumblr media
Basics:
Full name: Freya Greer Davis-Green
Nickname: Frey
Age: 33
Birthdate: April 9th, 1991
Sun,Moon,Rising: Aries, Leo, Gemini
Hometown: Los Angeles
Job: Former Reality TV Star/ Social Media Influencer
Been in Aurora Bay: 2 years
Bio:
Freya was born into a family that has been in the entertainment industry since her grandfather would run around Hollywood sets in the sound crew and her grandmother would act in movies.
Continuing in the dynasty her mother became an actress, while her father worked as a cameraman.
Nothing in her childhood was stable. From parties that lasted until the early morning hours, arguments between her parents that resulted in the breaking of glass bottles, to being photographed when her mother had a breakdown in front of a grocery store and broke the car window of one of her "fans". It's fair to say that Freya has seen quite a bit.
For the longest time, Freya was the only child and grandchild, so she was very much expected to follow the path that her grandparents set. Specifically, her mother wanted her to be an actress, just like her.
Freya did a bit of acting as a child, but she hated it. She was in a children's show for three years and had small speaking roles in a few movies, but that is it. She thought that when her younger sister was born, maybe a bit of the pressure would be off of her but it only made her parents push her harder.
The pressure of needing to please her family and pursue something that she had no interest in, drove Freya to have a very reckless adolescence. If people were to google her name, it wouldn't be hard to find articles about how scandalous her teenage years were. Underage drinking, exposed drug usage, and dating a few creeps. She was a tabloid regular.
She continued on a destructive path until her younger sister, Darlene was old enough to be effected by her careless ways. While he parents may have put her in danger when she was young, Freya refused to be that way with Darlene.
With the urging of her parents, at 18, Freya went to rehab for a few months. Not because they truly cared, but because they wanted her to clean up her image. To this day, Freya will say that she was never addicted to any other substance but attention. But she knew that this act would help clear her family's image, so she did it.
After her stint in rehab, Freya found herself traveling around the world. College was never something that interested her but she did find joy in immersing herself in other countries and helping people. Again, many people believed that her charity work was due to the fact that she had such a tarnished reputation but she truly did enjoy it.
She spent seven years living in different countries in Europe and Asia. Visiting home often to see her little sister. It was during one of those visits that her father introduced her to her first husband, who was an actor, and she was instantly infatuated. She realizes now that it was because he was a manipulator but back then she was ready to settle down.
They dated for a year before tying the knot and at that time in life, she was also offered a spot on a reality show franchise much like the real housewives, called Reality Check. It had only been on for one season and the ratings were not that great. They believed Freya could liven things up, because of her wild past.
Freya joined the moment she saw how much money they were offering her. She was on for three seasons. The first two seasons were about her getting used to married life and having a child. Everything seemed like things were great. Her first few seasons were full of laughs and love. No one would have expected that the next thing that happened was her husband would be caught cheating on her with a co-star.
That season had the best ratings but it caused her the most pain. After her contractual obligations were done, she moved to Aurora Bay where a few of her extended family lives.
For the last two years, she's lived in Aurora Bay Drive with her son Theo and sister Darlene, picking up the pieces of her fragile ego. She still documents her life on Instagram and TikTok to generate an income but she is now in charge of how much the world sees.
Headcanons:
To those she's closest to, Freya may joke around incessantly with them.
Freya refuses to show Theo in her videos. Family vlogs are not her style.
Her relationship with her parents is still pretty strained. They are definitely not as chaotic as they were when she was younger but she still has a ton of issues with how they forced her to act when she was younger.
Everyone loves a redemption story and while Freya is definitely not A-tier famous. She's a reality star who has her own little fanbase, that loves the fact that she went from having a reckless past to a dedicated mother and wife...at one point.
Speaking of being a wife, she still doesn't have a formal divorce. She's too angry to settle for any negotiations and he is still trying to convince her to stay. She's sure it has to do with her last name and not her at all.
She has a dog named puppernickle that is escorted from Aurora Bay to LA every other month due to her separation. She is aware of how ridiculous this sounds to many people but it can not be helped.
Important Relationships:
Family; Parents: Gregory and Kendra Davis, Siblings: Darlene Davis (18), Child: Theo Davis-Green (5)
Platonic; Plots wanted: Anything and everything
Romantic; Plots wanted: just vibin'. nothing wanted but def want plots.
