but since she’s jeonghan’s daughter, she’s very smart and can be a little cheeky. even when he has to scold her a part of him is still quite proud of how much his daughter takes after him. it sometimes scares him when she is able to think of lies so easily (but her dad is yoon jeonghan so she’ll never get away with it)

what she does begin picking up, is her brother's blatant 'crush' on pran. and she panics. bc nothing seems out of place to her in pran's behavior w pat (he's always been in love 😔) and she's worried her idiot brother is hurtling towards heartbreak again.

pran's lenient w pat, but he's also the hardest on him. pran talks sweetly to pat, only to blow a kick to his shin under the table. pran's only praises to pat are mixed within harsher tirades. she's seen how pran acts w his friends, and knows the way he acts w them both is special, but it really doesn't seem like pat's the sibling he's fonder of.

but! he is fond of pat. she considers that a start if nothing else, and thus begins her 'make p'pran fall in love w hiia' mission.

she sings praises (she herself doesn't believe) about pat, washes only pat's tightest shirts, tanks and shorts, tries to use ink and pat's closeness to incite jealousy in pran (oh how this would have backfired if they weren't dating...).

she leaves them alone as much as she can, once even locks them into the room before leaving in the morning (they fell asleep while watching a movie. pha wakes up cradled btw them and thinks she'd get away by claiming she missed two huge boys while extricating herself from their arms).

but then she starts running out of ideas, of opportunities, has to wash pat's other shirts before they start rotting and she really can't milk any other of pat's good traits. it's difficult selling a faulty product.

so imagine her relief when she's shown that video of pranpat. after the initial shock fades, the only thing that bugs her is that her idiot brother is trying to sabotage himself by forcing his bf to smell him.

pat's not too concerned about her not knowing. he's even told this to pran before bc pran was guilty. said that she wouldn't mind, that it was better to not tell her if they were planning on keeping this a secret, bc pha's his sister. she can't hold secrets if her life depended on it. (but pran's does here, so she does.)

pran does apologize but she's having none of it, explains the same things pat told him earlier. she tells pran she's happy she can claim him as a brother now. he tells her they didn't need pat for that.

and they never have. pat's presence doesn't factor into their relationship at all. when they were enemies, it didn't stop her from extending a hand of friendship to him. by the time they'd grown up, she didn't need them to be friends or lovers to consider pran her dad brother.

she was just worried pran wasn't reading the same book. he shows her they're on the same page.

during pranpat's runaway, she's scared and worried. bc even thou pat sent her a message warning her she won't hear for him, he hasn't mentioned till when, and it eats at her. like that time she thought pran would come home, and kept waiting and waiting and waiting. she's afraid history will repeat itself. and she's esp afraid bc she knows she'd do the same. she wouldn't ever want to come back if she were in their place. she wishes pat at least told her where he was, so if days turned to months, she'd know where to find him.

ink grounds her, reminds her its unlikely they won't return, and she knows pran enough to know he won't be happy to stay away too long. when her mind's clear, she spends time w her family, and feigning ignorance, guilt trips her father to the point where he barely leaves his room.

when pranpat return, she guilt trips her father more about his expression of relief when pat says they broke up. always pointing out how upset pat looks, how pat's suffering the consequences of 'someone else's' actions, how pat's lost his spark and motivation. pat excitedly follows her script to the tee, hitting the mark repeatedly, till ming no longer calls pat over for dinner.

she also makes a point of praising pran as much as she can. her father made sure pat was always aware of pran's gpa, so now pha makes sure he doesn't forget. any achievement of pran's is acclaimed in their household, she talks only of how good and brilliant pran is.

'ma, he's so nice he gives me drinks even thou he dumped hiia.' 'our profs were calling p'pran an exemplary student, he's everyone's role model.' 'p'pran's gpa was the highest in the entire uni, he's definitely getting that overseas internship.'

pran and pat going back into hiding means they spend a lot of time in the dorms. which is good for pha. when ink's busy, she can wrestle her way past pat into pran's room and claim her spot on his lap. if she needs more material on an essay, pat is banished to the library ('i'm doing your laundry') while pran and pha can watch disney movie parodies. pat and ink love double dates, so it either means long drives or a cooking date w pran.

pha and pran also have a million inside jokes neither ink or pat can decipher. pat's convinced its him they're bitching about, ink tells him to stop thinking the world revolves around him. pran and pha actually bitch about both, and then some more about their parents and their friends. but ink's right, a lot of those are from their childhood together, from the times they spent sneaking around to hang out.

pran actually talks to pha a lot about their parents, bc he knows that knowledge of what their father's done was a hard blow, and he wants to drill it into her that she's not responsible, that two conflicting notions can and do co-exist. dissaya doesn't have to forgive ming if she can't, but she shouldn't be punishing the three of them for it. ming might be a shitty human, but pat and pha weren't bad ppl for seeking their father's love and embrace. he tries his best to make sure both of them aren't guilty for their father, and they both love him more each day for it.

(she wants to tell him it doesn't affect her as much, she's never had that kind of relationship w her father bc he's always isolated her, ignored her, but when pran talks to her like that he feels so much like a real father. she can put her head on his shoulder, and she's gathered into warm arms, and pha lets pran fuss over her some more.)

pha refuses to see pran off when he leaves for singapore bc she doesn't want them to see her cry and bc she thinks pranpat should have some quiet time together. (it has nothing to do with how she's badly hungover and humiliated bc she was hammered the previous night, clung to pran for hours and wailed.)

I'll prob do a part two that's more of a scenario based on your first date or something since I didn't go into it here. Please note: for those of you who don’t know my blog is currently under construction, meaning I will not be updating my masterlist for the time being.

So how did you guys meet, well mostly because of Yuzuha,

One day in like elementary you’re walking home and you see this super pretty middle school girl just like yelling at this small group of guys

The guys end up running off just because they don’t wanna deal with her or the attention she's drawn to them

Behind her was a boy, taller than her but obviously younger. You didn’t assume they knew eachother though.

The boy and yuzuha began walking in opposite directions because one was going home while the other was going to pick up something like groceries

You’re so entranced by how she stood up to them yet she’s a girl who was far smaller and you end up catching up to her, almost stepping on her heels

You end up absent mindedly following her into the grocery store and eventually she just freezes, turns, and stare directly at you

Your eyes widen since you must’ve been staring and she just goes “may I ask why you’re following me?” And you explain how cool she was earlier. She invites you over for dinner (esp since her older brother won’t be home) and figured it’d be good for Hakkai to meet someone his age

You end up going over but Hakkai didn’t come down to eat so you never actually got to meet him, though from then on you would see Yuzuha every so often, visit every other weekend or so

But no matter how often you came over the next few months, you never once met hakkai,

That was until you both reached the end of your middle school education and we’re about to begin high school

You had gone over because you were going to borrow an old work book from Yuzuha, and when you go to knock on the door the door opens before your closed fist could hit it, instead hitting a firm chest

You blush and quickly apologize but the person in front of you doesn’t move at all, doesn’t say anything and almost looks like they drifted into space with their dead stare

You assume this is yuzuha’s older brother because you’ve also never met him and you immediately turn to walk away but Yuzuha calls over hakkai’s shoulder

“Y/N-Chan! You just got here where are you going?” This was def not yuzuha’s older brother. There’s no way she’d be that happy with him around; oh my god. Realization hit, the guy who you hit (though it was more of a tap) was hakkai.

The hakkai you had only caught a glimpse of in yuzuha’s photos, never talked to or actually seen in person despite going to the same school and living in the same neighborhood

He must hate you. That’s why he avoids you. That’s def why - is what you think

Yuzuha drags hakkai back inside and invites you in; you sit down with them in the living room and watch hakkai visibly relax now that he’s inside his house, his own space, with a pillow behind him and a blanket covering his lower half, he almost curls up into it as he continues to avoid your stare

“Hi hakkai…Kun? Im L/N Y/N” you say and you see his face dead pan once again

Yuzuha can be heard laughing from the kitchen as she comes back in.

She leans over and begins explaining that hakkai literally just freezes with any interaction between him and girls who aren’t in his family

You nod, thinking maybe it’s an anxiety thing? Which is the case with you, but only because he’s been watching you since you’ve come over (not in a creepy way) wanting to and working the courage up to talk to you

The 5th or so time you came over after that encounter he was inches away from introducing himself before the house phone rang causing everyone to kind of “wake up” in a sense

Every time since then he gets closer and closer but isn’t able to say anything; he even realizes he has a crush on you.

The way you sit when you do homework and how cute you look when you’re focused.

How your forehead scrunches up when you’re trying to figure something out and you end up just sitting back with a small huff followed by yuzuha’s signature laughter.

It’s also a huge thing that you get along with Yuzuha.

So enough with first meeting time for the confession.

He ends up confessing accidentally. He didn’t know you were coming over to begin with so he was flustered out of his mind. And how was he supposed to know you hadn’t actually fallen asleep and you could hear him over the tv

The tv was more white noise than anything and the day was hot since it was the middle of summer causing the window to be open and the sound of soft wind and small birds to drift in; this was the hot that makes you tired so you were all sprawled out of just sitting in a daze

So while resting your head on the table you’re dozing in and out but then you hear hakkai begin to speak, something he never really did around you

Now did you and hakkai text? Yes. Did it take him an hour to reply because his brain would explode when you replied to him? Yes. But was it a start to communication? Also a yes.

You hear him say your name quietly before he moved closer, you can feel his gaze on your features

“I like you” is all he says. Simple and sweet. But you sit there in shock, trying not to blush so he’ll have no idea you heard him but he can tell because your forehead scrunches

You heard him and are focused on if you should reply or not. And he knows that.

You open your eyes and just look up at him, he’s closer than expected. His hand close to yours on the floor and he reaches over and grabs it lightly. Hoping you’ll also return the gesture by holding his hand instead of leaving your hand limp inside his.

And you do, thank goodness, and Hakkai almost mentally can’t handle it.

Once you start dating it’s more so just hanging out at his house or yours; however he talks a bit more and you text a lot more. He’s gotten better at replying. It usually takes him like 15 minutes now

He’s kinda stressed about your relationship but not due to anything you or him did

He’s stressed because of the mentality his older brother gave him

Is he even allowed to be this happy?

He finally has someone thats small enough and naive enough that he can protect you; compared to constantly being protected it’s a sudden, strong, yet good change for him

He’s touch s t a r v e d

Yes Yuzuha shows affection; but he stopped accepting her hugs when he was around 8 just because he physically wasn’t able to handle it due to his bruises and such

But with you, even with his bruises and all you take care of him. Able to coax him into using medicines and toning down the physical violence (that he can control himself)

He also finds it super soothing when you lightly brush over his scars (especially those that his brother gave him), it helps him believe that scars are only physical and can fade with help

One thing that stresses him out the most is trying to hide you from his brother. Any time you leave something at the house its easy to pass it off as yuzuha's but when it comes to things like photos he has with you, he can't hang them up, show them off, or have them as his phone Lock Screen, etc. because he just really doesn't want his brother to know and target you since he'll then know that you're his weakness (aside from yuzuha as well)

Sometimes won't explain why he can't hang out and has legit pushed you out of his house before at the last minute notice of his brother coming home

Will always make sure you get home safe though, usually by having Yuzuha go with you since then she can just say you're a friend from school

Your parents love him, though they were a bit hesitant it became a "you always have a place to stay" because they learned about their family situation from you and yuzuha. So expect him to spend the night when he's too scared to deal with his brother. Same with yuzuha. (yes I know this isn't yuzuha head canons but its hard to write for him without mentioning her when they're so close)

We're talking three person sleep overs. Yuzuha and you of course share the bed and Hakkai takes some time to even set foot in your room much less sleep on a mattress that's on the floor

He has a small heart attack every time he comes into your room because he's overwhelmed with everything, he's never been so comfortable and it makes him feel restless. Like he's never and I mean n e v e r been less stressed and slept better than when he does so in your room

The smell, the colors, just being surrounded by you is something that completely changes his mood

Once showed up after he fought with his brother, tears in his eyes and clothes a bit tattered and you just pulled him to your room, and sat down with him.

You laid on your bed with him laying down onto of you, head on your chest as you rubbed his head and only said a few words "its not your fault"

He ends up crying so hard he falls asleep and gets dehydrated and you have to make him drink a bunch of water when he finally wakes up.

I can’t really decide whether he’s one of those people who would wake up their s/o at 12:00am just to wish you happy birthday and throw confetti everywhere probably is

He has the whole day planned out

And he knows everything and anything you’d like

This bandage man tries making breakfast for you while you were asleep and could give it to you once you awoke along with a good morning kiss

However, little did you know that while you were asleep, he almost set the kitchen on fire, pancake batter spilled on the floor and he had almost cut his finger off with a knife

You couldn’t help but slam your head against your desk. Ennoshita sighed at your predicament when it came to the crush you had on your upperclassman, Sugawara Koushi. Except, to you he was so much more. Not in just the fact that he was your crush but he’s been someone you’ve known for almost your entire life. 

“What if he doesn’t like me, Ennoshita,” you cried into your arms, not able to take the heartbreak that could come with Sugawara rejecting your feelings and your 10+ year friendship turning to dogshit. 

Ennoshita tapped his fingers against the desk, “I don’t think he’d break off your friendship just like that even if he didn’t. And if he doesn’t like you I personally give you permission to murder myself and-or Tanaka, your choice.” 

In a different class at the time, Tanaka sneezed in the middle of eating his sandwich. 

At this point, Ennoshita, and every other club member, was tired. Even Sugawara would shrug when Daichi asked him in the clubroom what was going on between him and you. Asahi, the one who was possibly the most oblivious when it came to people pining for another, was even frustrated at how the two of you would dance around each other. 

“Why don’t you just ask them out?” Asahi asked Sugawara. In the middle of changing, Sugawara stopped in thought, his shirt barely on. 

“Hmm, I don’t want to ask them before they’re ready,” Sugawara answered simply, sliding his shirt on over his head. 

It was a rough life being friends with both you and Sugawara. 

It was sort of sweet though, no? The fact that Sugawara wanted to wait till you were ready. He knew about your anxieties when it came to relationships. It wasn’t that your past relationships were bad, per se, but rather any time you’d enter one the anxieties just came through. Sometimes it’d be insecurities or suddenly the red flags would pop up. It was as if entering the relationship made you realize how much of a terrible person the other was. 

You didn’t want that for Koushi. So he’d wait, wait till you’re comfortable to talk things out. But he will admit that it is maybe a little frustrating some days. 

Especially, especially, the days when you’re closer than usually. Physically. Emotionally.

Some days you’d find yourself lying in Koushi’s bed after finishing a bit of homework. He’d be sitting on the floor at the table, still working the last few problems. You’d both have a small conversation, something to fill the room while he finished up. Then he’d crawl into bed, next to you. 

“Just like when we were kids, right?” He’d grin at you, and you couldn’t help the way you felt your cheeks heat up. 

“Yeah, just like when we were kids,” you’d reply and reach out for his hands, shifting to lay on your side. Koushi doing the same and inching even closer to you. He’d bring your hands up to chest level, playing with your fingers just like he’d do when the two of you were younger. 

And then the two of you would fall asleep. His arm draped over your waist, pulling you close into his chest with your legs tangled with his. 

You always fell asleep last, always so anxious about the whole ordeal. It’s different sleeping and cuddling together when you’re older compared to when you were both younger. 

When you were younger it was just platonic feelings. And now that you’re both older and know about romantic feelings, well, something bloomed between the two of you. 

Before you’d fall asleep you’d stare up at his soft face, your fingers slightly hovering over his face and especially over the beauty mark that you loved so much. He was no longer embarrassed about it like he used to be (because of you and your adoration for it). Then your hand would return back to resting on his chest and you’d nuzzle your head into him as well. 

Koushi’s breathing always soothed you; it was deep and heavy. Always peaceful as you watched his chest rise and fall. You nuzzled your face into him even deeper if it was possible, your fingers lightly tapping against his sturdy chest. 

He smelled a bit like lavender. It was subtle, sweet and calming. There were a few other scents too but they weren’t overbearing and never quite lingered in your nose like the lavender scent. And whenever you think about him, you just think of Koushi’s lavender scent as well as how he smelled like home. 

Home. 

Yeah, being with him felt like home. Even when—no—especially when your own home didn’t feel like home. You felt comfortable with him, like it was you and him versus the world. This felt natural, normal. 

The lingering glances, the subtle touches. 

I think it was safe to say that you’re in love. You felt stupid for saying so, even thinking so. You are in high school, barely seventeen as a second year. People would always cringe when high schoolers said they were in love. 

But no one can invalidate your feelings. Only you knew what you felt and no one could say otherwise. 

You’re in love with Sugawara Koushi and it didn’t scare you. 

You’re in love with Sugawara Koushi and it comforted you. 

You knew him better than you knew yourself and you were sure he felt the same about you, knowing you well, I mean. You still weren’t sure if he returned your feelings. 

That’s how you found yourself outside his house, standing in front of him. Sugawara stared at you, head tilted with confusion since usually the two of you would just head in to get started on homework. 

“What’s wrong?” he asked, his hand reaching for yours. He called out for you again, your name gracing his lips. His thumb rubbed small circles on the back of your hand and you looked down off to the side, scared and unsure. 

“I-uhm,” your heart felt like it was going to leap out of your throat. Speaking was hard, and god you don’t think you could stare up at him while you confessed your feelings. 

Rip it off like a bandaid. Just rip it off like a bandaid. Just. Rip it off! LIKE A—

With closed eyes and your hand clasping around his, you stuttered out, “I-I-uh-I really like you Koushi! It’s-It’s fine if you don’t, y’know, feel the same. I just-I just had to tell you.” 

You pursed your lips and the small caresses on the back of your hand stopped. Good thing you planned to do this before entering into his house. Now you could just book it home. But then he laughed and his hand holding yours tightened back before you could run off; as if he knew you were going to do so. 

You just confessed to Sugawara Koushi and he’s laughing. You felt like crying, honestly. 

But Koushi was laughing because he was relieved. Relieved that he didn’t have to hold back anymore, that he no longer had to wait. Koushi had wanted you to make the first move because he already knew you liked him. He just wanted you to feel comfortable enough with your feelings before anything else happened. 

All of the soft touches, the cuddling, the approaching you from behind and hugging you as you do manager work, Koushi let happen naturally. Because they were natural. It’s not like you didn’t do it back. 

Whenever he’d be on break, drinking water he’d find your arms wrapped around his torso no matter how sweaty he was. Or on bus rides to practice matches or to the Sendai gym for games the two of you would sit next to each other and one of you would always fall asleep with your head resting against the other’s shoulder. 

And you know, maybe Koushi was partially laughing at the fact that you couldn’t tell he likes you back. He thought it was obvious at least. 

“Wh-what are you laughing about Koushi!” You pouted, tears slightly gathering at the corner of your eyes out of anxiety and fear of rejection. 

“No, no, nothing bad, you’re so cute,” he sighed out, a smile apparent on his face as he took a step closer to you. “It’s just that-” he gestures with his free hand back and forth between you and himself “-I thought you knew I liked you. Because I knew you liked me. And with how we’ve been cuddling and—”

“Ah!” You shouted, lightly hitting his chest with your free hand. He let out an ‘oof’ before you placed your head against his chest out of embarrassment. You felt his chest reverberate as he laughed, his other hand coming up to rest on the top of your head, his fingers drawing soothing circles on your scalp. 

“Why didn’t you tell me?” you asked, your voice muffled against his chest. Koushi sighed, the corners of his lips tugging upwards. 

“I thought we already were, y’know, together? I just wasn’t too sure,” Koushi replied. “I didn’t want to make you uncomfortable either. Wanted to wait till you were comfortable.”

“What if I never was?”

“I’d wait forever then.” 

You huffed against his chest, wrapping your other arm around him, the hand holding his tightening. Koushi set his arm around your back, pulling you in closer as he turned to place his cheek against your head. 

“You’re cheesy, Kou.” y

“Only for you.” He turned his head to kiss the crown of yours before laying his cheek against you once more. “Now let’s go inside, get some homework done and cuddle some more.”

“I hate you.” 

Koushi hummed, being the first to pull away, holding your hand tightly to walk towards his house, “Whatever you say. I know you don’t.”

napoleon ; oh, if you want, sure. Once you’re moved into the new house, he may still go to the mansion often to talk to the residents or spar with jean. He may have been an emperor, but he was used to normal/lower class living before, and so he picks up on chores and the like surprisingly quick. Domestic life would be very easy with him, though the issue of waking up late and kissing will persist—though that’s not particularly a problem anymore; morning cuddles are a must.

arthur ; he’s game. May joking lament leaving the residents (“who’s going to mock Issac while I’m gone?”) but he’s very excited to start a more domestic life with you. Surprisingly picky when house-shopping?? Like he picks up on every little detail like cracks in the walls or leaky pipes and won’t settle for less. He’ll enjoy the serentiny of a simple home with just you (esp when writing and you bring him coffee!!), and he smirks at the idea that no one can catch you making out in the kitchen now...

mozart ; thank God. He never particularly wanted to leave the mansion, but some kind of privacy from the residents would be nice (he does care for them though, don’t be fooled). He is very particular when buying a house, and a music room was an absolute requirement. Other than that, he’s fine; he’ll help with cleaning but not much else, mostly because he likes for the house to look good and for his energy to not be clogged. The peace and quiet of your guys space would make him smile, and he’d enjoy resting with you on the couch sometimes during the day.

leonardo ; he could easily acquire a mansion for the both of you (comte would insist, actually) but he’d probably prefer a simple home, one near the citycenter that may be a tad run-down. He’s quite crafty, and he’d find fixing the home up with you to be relaxing and domestic. The hustle and bustle of the city would make him feel more normal and alive, and though he would still talk to the mansion residents often, he liked being a neighbor to the city folk; you become a couple immersed in new friends who you help out and talk with out on the town.

vincent ; But what about the others? He’d be a little sad at the idea of leaving his friends, but overtime he’d come around to the idea, especially if you stayed nearby. A change of scenery made him excited (esp for painting) and it’d probably be a requirement for it to have a wow factor/secret place, similar to his spot on the hill. Theo would probably demand he move in as well, but vincent would convince him to stay at the mansion if 1) you bought a place nearby, and 2) theo had his own guest bedroom. If you moved in together, he’d love to settle down before the fire with you at night and eat breakfast together while the birds sing.

theo ; Vincent must move in with you, no buts. When you tell him you meant only you guys, he’s just like?? Vincent can have his own room? Or a smaller house on the property? I am so sorry but Theo refuses to leave his brother, but once you allow it, Theo is all game for moving out. You probably get used to Vincent joining you at dinner and stuff, but the older Van Gogh is respectful and gives you and Theo your space. He’ll probably opt for a neighboring home soon after as to let you be more of a couple. Theo would be very good at maintaining the yard (I’m imagining him with a mower and I’m cackling) and the overall aesthetic of the home, since he has an eye for art.

issac ; uh, are you sure you want to take such a big step...? He had never really thought about leaving, but what if you didn’t like being with just him; what if he’s not entertaining enough as a sole roommate? Will like a more modest home with enough space to tinker and enough distance from the town where you can still stargaze. Once you’re moved in, he settles down quickly; he really likes how calm and happy you two are sharing in each other’s spaces for real now (not just sneaking into each other’s rooms), and you’d stargaze most nights together, even falling asleep on the blanket.

dazai ; ah, well, he’s not particularly home often enough as it is, is he? He comes and goes from the mansion a lot, so at first he’d be puzzled. Whatever you want he’d do, but you didn’t expect his behavior to stop, did you? He doesn’t seem too concerned when house-shopping, but if you find one with some Japanese influence (pond in the back, and big windows just for him to crawl through), he may perk up. Though he easily helps with chores, it takes a while for him to relax fully with you, knowing that your home is a safeplace with no need to be on guard or masked. You both will probably spend a lot of time outside by the pond, relaxing and feeling at ease in a home to call your own.

jean ; no. well, why? ah, you should be married before living together at least, shouldn’t you? Not necessarily nervous, but very wary; he doesn’t know what spurred this train of thought nor what you wanted out of moving in together. It’d take a good while to convince him (he also feels safer when napoleon is under the same roof in case he starved himself again; he wouldn’t want to accidentally bite you if you lived alone...), but if you lived nearby—and are engaged at least, good heavens!—he may relent. He’d take a bit to warm up to you again since he’s so tense from his fear, but once he gets used to the independence of living separately/making sure he drinks, he’ll be fine and indulge in domestic life with you.

comte ; although he is the master of the mansion, it wouldn’t take too much convincing for him to buy another house close by. He would come to enjoy the separation, the quiet simplicity of not having to be pristine and stern in front of the others (even though you both visit often), and simply being domestic and normal with you. He’d end up enjoying doing chores with you, but just because it’s your guys home now, not a mansion for show. Will continue to spoil and take care of you, but he’d love taking baths with you or laying in bed the most.

sebastian ; it would take a while for him to agree. He agreed to stay in the time period to observe the historical men, after all, and he feels indebted to take care of the mansion. If you were to move away, what then? He would simply leave early and return late while he maintains his job (even if comte tells him not to worry). The only time he would agree to move away is if you were expecting to have children soon, then he’d lighten up for a more domestic life.

shakespeare ; it’d be very easy for you to transition to living with only him, since he does have his own mansion away from the others. Though comte and them would be wary and sad to see you go, they’d allow it. Shakespeare would be touched but he’d cover it up with his poetic verse; he’d be very cautious for a while because even though you consistently said you were happy with him, he was afraid that at any moment you would want to move back—he may even attempt trying to make you want to move back. Once he’s assured and comfortable, he’d love to read books with you and drink tea in the lounge on your days off.

Adam + Diana bonding over photography:

ohhh my gosh that would be adorable!!! I feel like it takes a little while for Lawrence to feel comfortable with having Adam and Diana interact - not bc he doesn't trust Adam or think he'd be a bad influence, but just bc he wanted to be sure things were going to work out between them; he didn't want to put Diana through that, have her get attached to someone who might end up not sticking around (again, not bc he thought he and Adam would split! he just wanted to make sure they were established for a while is all). but the moment he does? ohhhh these two melt his heart on the regular.

I kind of have this belief that Adam is good with kids, but not even he knows why? he has a heart fr kids, he can't help it, but he certainly didn't see himself becoming involved w someone who already had children,, that being said he loves Diana, and she loves him just as much!! it's kind of similar to the Daniel situation but leaning more toward the parental side of things; she just thinks he's about the coolest adult she knows and it's very evident. so they get along really well and god does it make Lawrence happy - honestly, it only serves to make him fall harder. Adam lets Diana paint his nails and will paint hers, he builds pillow forts for them to hide in, he'll read to her before bed, things like that; it's honestly not a surprise that she's interested in his photography!

the very first time she asks him about it, it starts with her being like "this is really cool!! how did you get so good at doing that??" and Adam's just sort of like. You Think That's Cool?? and that's kind of when he starts to become aware of how highly Diana thinks of him,, he needs a whole moment later where he just hides his face in Lawrence's chest and breathes through it bc Holy Shit. this is also where it kinda starts to set in for him that like, this is his family. (the next time he has a moment like that is when she calls him dad for the first time, but that's later down the line!)

hdkjsaf anyway. I feel like he wld be really excited to share this with Diana!! knowing that she's genuinely interested in it helps a lot and the fact that she's such a visual/hands-on learner like himself also helps things along!! I really like the idea that he gets her one of those disposable cameras to kind of give her a chance to explore it herself, so like the three of them will be at the park, Adam and Lawrence sat on one of the benches (when Adam isn't chasing her around the playground), while Diana runs around (within their line of sight, of course) and takes pictures of everything she finds interesting + worth capturing and Lawrence just sort of sighs and says "she's having so much fun. I love you." and Adam's just. "I love you too,,, 🥺🥺" it's so overwhelmingly domestic that Adam just needs a second to sit w it,,

Diana's also a quick learner so it's really cool when they compare her pictures to ones she takes later on!! it's definitely something that serves to strengthen their bond and kind of the catalyst for Adam to realize Hey, Diana Loves Me Too (ESP bc I feel like Adam would be super nervous around her at first, due to being Lawrence's new partner/not Alison, so her approval actually does mean a lot to him,, I gotta be honest I think abt chainshipping + Diana family dynamics all the time)!!

for Lawrence it's just like. Diana's approval ALSO means the world to him. he Loves seeing his partner and his daughter getting along so well; Lawrence didn't ever really envision himself being divorced prior to their game (even if he and Alison had discussed it/at least a separation of sorts), so he's kind of unsure about navigating dating after something like that, especially where Diana is concerned, so to have her love Adam just as much as he does is so so important. he definitely tears up over it sometimes, he can't help it. these are his two favourite people.

little things they do fr each other:

for surprises I think they're relatively lowkey just bc neither of them really like Big surprises,, most times it consists of smth like "I saw this and thought of you!" or "I thought you'd like this so I picked it up!" and that's more than enough for them. occasionally though they Do like the spoil each other in their own special ways, so sometimes Lawrence will come home from work and the entire apartment is clean, there's music playing from that little stereo they have, and there's Adam in the kitchen with flour and brownie batter on his cheek and his shirt and in his hair bc maybe he's not the best cook, but he can bake (at least. brownies.) and Lawrence will just stand in the threshold of the kitchen fr a little bit after dropping off his coat and briefcase and lining up his shoes in the hallway, just watching Adam with this lovesick grin on his face until Adam finally turns around and sees him (he's not shocked, Lawrence always announces himself) and smiles back and it's so. <333

other times Adam will come home from a shoot to see Lawrence on the couch with Adam's favourite takeout, already in his pajamas and with their comfiest blanket next to him on the couch, and he's got a movie ready (usually The Princess Bride, as I've mentioned b4,,) and is just like "hey, I know you haven't eaten yet so I ordered in. wanna sit w me?" and of course Adam is always like of course I do!!! it's definitely one of those things where he's just smiling the whole time because this is a level of bliss he never saw himself reaching b4 Lawrence. he never imagined having someone to come home to, someone who loves him like this, and it's as simple as Lawrence making sure he eats + just wanting to take the time to relax w him while watching smth they both enjoy to make Adam realize this is love.

as for little things they do fr each other when they're having rough days? for Adam, I like the idea that Lawrence tosses one of his sweaters into the dryer for a little while so that it's warm when he takes it out, and then he brings it to wherever Adam has holed up while he rides out a shitty day and is just like "here, I know you're not having a good day so I brought you this. it's warm :)" and Adam is always just. "thank you" bc verbalizing things is hard on his bad days if he's not completely nonverbal (he does know the sign fr thank you + teaches it to Larry so he knows), but on the inside he's definitely just like 🥺🥺 ohhh my god I love you so much?? the other is that he'll make one of Adam's favourites for dinner because he firmly believes in the concept of comfort food serving to make things a little bit better. then they'll just sort of curl up on the couch or in bed and Adam will hide for a little while (like u've mentioned b4) until he feels good enough to at least lay his head on Lawrence's shoulder and watch him read/fill out crosswords (my fave hc concerning Lawrence is that. he likes them. he gets books of 'em Adam is so endeared by it).

for Lawrence, since he's the kind of person that throws himself into performing tasks (stress cleaning, paperwork, tending to things around the apartment, etc.) to keep his mind off of how upset he's feeling, I think the biggest thing Adam does is after a little while of Lawrence doing his thing, he'll come up behind him wherever he is and just kind of lead him away like "why don't you rest for a minute." and at first he wasn't rlly receptive to it, preferring to just sort of shake Adam off and be like "I'm okay, thank you for asking," even if he was very obviously Not Okay. eventually, though, all Adam has to do is put his hands on his shoulders and knead for a little bit before Lawrence just sighs and melts into it. he tenses up a lot, so his muscles are often really sore as a result, so when Adam does that it's a reminder to kind of sit back before that happens. the other, like you've also mentioned b4, is that Adam just holds Lawrence when he needs it, which is something he hadn't ever really experienced b4 but comes to appreciate very much. this is usually when Lawrence feels safest/the most seen + heard, so it's often where he cries it out, too.

otherwise it's just those little things; Lawrence will make Adam his cup of coffee in the morning, Adam will do Lawrence's tie for him b4 he heads off to work (his one weird ability, he supposes), holding the door open for each other when they're out and about, getting each other smth to drink + little snacks, stuff like that!! (one of my other favourites: sometimes when they go out for dates, Lawrence will pull Adam's chair out for him. Adam used to think smth like that wld be very stupid. when it's Lawrence, he comes to realize what was so endearing about it - not that he'd say that out loud tho)

I've actually thought abt this b4!! I feel like Adam wld be very very nervous abt it at first, just bc he knows it's something that a lot of ppl still consider to be unconventional + impossible, but he would definitely want to have that talk w Lawrence bc 1. that's his partner, and 2. of course he wants Lawrence to be aware of that/wants to hear what his feelings are. like u said though, he doesn't reject it entirely or anything like that - he just sort of needs time to understand it + see how it works, as it's absolutely smth he would have no prior familiarity with (esp being w Alison in a monogamous marriage).

the important thing here is Lawrence is comfortable asking questions. he might word things a little funny and might make Adam laugh a couple times, not unkindly, but he's genuinely so curious abt it and unafraid to ask (which is better than coming up with some false assumption)!! it's both delicate and not, which I think Adam wld prefer rather than it being too serious or bc of disapproval obviously. he always feels more comfortable in convos where they can still contain serious subject matter, but they can still laugh a little bit.

so it does take Lawrence a while to warm up to it, but not out of a place of ignorance/ridicule; he just needs to familiarize himself w it is all! and that makes Adam feel sooo much better abt it. of course there was never the intention not to tell Lawrence, but to have him accept it and maybe even consider it down the line does wonders to relax Adam.

I've actually thought abt who the first other member Lawrence kinda fell for wld be and I think it wld be Eric! it can definitely be partially attributed to the fact that bc Adam spends a lot of time around him (they ARE dating), Lawrence does too as a result, but there's more to their relationship than just being. boyfriend adjacent. they have things in common that they don't really w anyone else (i.e. being a parent that has been through a trap + had their kid directly endangered by Jigsaw and are helping them cope) and they kind of have very similar feelings (guilt/thinking things were their fault, feeling like they failed their kids, feeling like they're bad ppl like Jigsaw thought, things like that) so they bond through those things - and, of course, over both of them dating Adam.

u've mentioned this b4 + I agree w it so: I feel like Eric might kinda be the first person other than Adam to realize Lawrence's tendency to overwork himself to avoid having to confront his upset feelings. a big thing Eric does for him is he'll bring a little snack w him and maybe something to drink and he'll hand them off and be like "I know you're busy but you gotta remember to eat, I'm just gonna go chill over here," and then he'll just set himself up in a corner in the same room so that Lawrence isn't alone. he doesn't try to get him to stop, doesn't ask him what's wrong though it's clear he'd listen if Lawrence wanted to share, just makes sure he's taking care of himself + reminding him that ppl are there for him. and fr Lawrence that's kinda like. Oh. bc it's that silent type of understanding where they don't even have to announce it out loud. Lawrence doesn't feel the need to explain himself. having that not only w Adam, but Eric too, is definitely smth that sort of leads into that realization of "I think I love him too."

and there are moments where Lawrence will come to spend the night at Adam + Art?(it's up to you)/Eric's apartment when Eric falls asleep facing Lawrence while Adam is pressed up against his back and knowing the issues Eric has w his chronic insomnia + feeling safe enough to drift off to sleep easily, seeing the way being around Adam helps him relax and that being held leads him to sleep quicker than anything else, it just kinda makes Lawrence wanna hold him and not let go. he knows Eric wasn't shown that kind of tenderness often, that physical contact was something he was denied for so long, and it just. makes Lawrence Seethe that someone would ever do that to him, in this protective way that Lawrence can't deny feels a lot like love. it only ever increases when Eric wakes up screaming later and ends up with his face against Lawrence's neck once the tension fades away and he just sags against him, crying. Lawrence allows himself to hold Eric then, and he still feels like he never wants to let go. this man is so compassionate, so protective himself of the ones he loves and wld do anything to keep them safe. he is a big dog of a man that makes ppl feel held + understood and Lawrence loves him a little bit, he can't help it.

I think Lawrence finally fully realizes it when Eric stumbles across him having a panic attack bc he'd forgotten to turn the ringer off and it just so happened to go off at that moment. he's trembling and it's hard for him to breathe but Eric just kind of crouches down in front of him and is like "focus on me for a moment. can you do that?" and he rests his hands on Lawrence's upper arms. when Lawrence nods Eric takes one of his hands and places it on his chest n says "can you breathe with me?" and somehow, Lawrence steadily finds himself relaxing and able to draw more air in until he's not shaking as hard and he doesn't feel like he's sucking in air through a straw, and by then he's so exhausted by it all that he ends up with his forehead against Eric's sternum, and Eric just holds him, no words. and he says, "it's okay that it still upsets you, it's smth you can't help and that is fine. I just want you to know that." like he knew what Lawrence needed to hear, and it's just. oof. that's when Lawrence is just like Oh I See. I Love Him. I Love Him Too.

Adam is beyond delighted abt it when Lawrence actually tells him, and Lawrence can safely say that he's definitely more open to the idea after that!!

omg mar thank you for enabling me all day today 😭🥺🧡 thenks bestie ily :,)) and thank you too anon ! i should preface that T-T i have not read any other theories or analyses so these are just my opinions / impressions but i hope it’s entertaining to read about haha :p ! HYUNJAE - okay so audio cues... if you listen to the beginning there’s a sound of a bomb going off before the music starts ? and that ties into the dystopian / cyborg aesthetics that jump out at me of course, but what i immediately thought of was their no air perfo ? like we know hyunjae in the no air mv got that shot where he’s laying in the bathtub filled with water but also their kingdom performance with it also had those underwater shots ! so i think it ties into that... i feel like we saw in gen z, he’s a very straightforward person he says things on his mind which can come off as blunt but he thinks it’s better than not saying it ? which is interesting bc i think that speaks to his self- determined personality, he’s much more inclined to do whatever it takes to get something done, which i think falls perfectly in line with the “make your own air” phrase that he gets, if it’s something he needs he makes it himself, in a situational sense methinks u.u 

 JUYEON - JUYEON’S DJSKHDG i’m waiting for dri’s essay but in essence we see the gen z “juyeon is not such a good boy” shot and these text bubbles that pop up that say “sexy” “you so hot” “such a bad boy” and tbh i like this ‘concept’ ? for him better than his gen z one ? it’s not bc of the concept itself but i like the idea that he can “make your own character” as in he has the capability and power to be whoever he wants to ! you see him throwing white paint at the gen z canvas and i think ?! that’s symbolic of like a fresh canvas ! of remaking himself to whatever he wants bc the canvas is now blank again thanks to the white paint and flowers usually indicate spring ? so renewal and stuff like that ! i really like his, it’s also fun word play on “character” which has been juyeon’s intro in tbz (bc his name sounds like main character in korean) but yea :o ! i really love his the idea he can just repaint / paint over a literal image of him gives it the possibility of becoming smth new and that’s so so cool

CHANGMIN - SCREEEEECH okie um oh boy um *windows shutting down noises* this was so so so very different from his gen z stuff but i actually think BOTH are equally perfect for him ? the way that he set up the sparklers and neon lights on this very obviously trashy and kind of rundown rooftop with the cityline behind him is so ?!?!? LITERALLY making his own stage as his tagline goes, sort of like how the physical stage itself does not matter but rather it’s changmin himself that makes the stage special ! i talked about this in gabi’s set that i rbed ;-;/ but changmin puts a lot A LOT of stake in his position as a dancer it means almost everything to him as a form of expression from what i can see ? so he’s always trying his best to put forward the best performance possible and seeing this segment makes me feel like he’s doing just that ! pouring himself into it to make his stage pls i care him 

HAKNYEON - god i’m a jusadan but just u.u rest in peace me, i’ll ... T_T be kind of honest this one confuses me a little ? i have assumptions and i feel like i know ... quite a bit about haknyeon (LMAO) my best guess is it has smth to do with self assurance ...? the way he’s framed and the fact that he’s sitting on a bed in the middle of a church surrounded by candles gives me christ figure symbolism (where my ap english takers at :/) and the light that perfectly frames him in a halo gives me angel vibes too, but the tagline of “make your own romance” paired with him kissing his reflection makes me think it’s about self love ;;;; from what i can tell haknyeon has always been someone who really likes feeling validated and praised for the stuff he does well, which he does for himself a lot of the times too ! but sometimes i think the self assurances he compliments himself with is more for reassuring himself rather than bragging (which i think people misinterpret) so it’s more about becoming the person he wants to fully love and being happie with himself which *tears* i might be reading too much into who knows i just love him ok ... U.U 

KEBINNN - i know !!! dri mentioned this in my gifset tags but ! kev on kpop daebak (? was it) or smth mentioned how he strives to keep a childlike wonderment for the world around him, which is a reason why i think he loves drawing and sound / music production, he talked in a fancafe post once about an artist who turned mediocre everyday objects into art and he said he really loves that sense of wonderment so peter pan who “never grows up” is actually perfect for his worldview ahhhh T^T also kev really likes disney lmao, the way he’s doing this outside in this “neverland” garden on a balcony which is a part of this very typical apartment backed by a typical city bg also i believe ties into this turning a mediocre everyday thing into smth wonderful through his sense of childlike wonderment and his tagline of “make your own fantasy” (i also care him a lot this concept >>>>>>) and keeps to his referencing movie plotlines like he did in gen z jddkfj

SUNWOO - i also mentioned this in my tags on sunu’s set but this gives me 100 degrees vibes which i still to this day think is one of the most “sunwoo” vibe things ever, it’s a lot of him having fun and doing his own thing, and mixes both more mature and youthful aspects together in a way that i’d only ever describe as sunwoo vibes LMAO like the roller skating around and all the soap bubbles ! cute and youthful ! the crop top and celine wasitband (don’t laugh at me we all noticed) more mature and a callback to his gen z look methinks U.u, think sunwoo has always been a more go-with-the-flow or do whatever he feels like doing sort of person and so “make your own vibe” fits well with him in that sense to me 

SANGYEON - .... *silence* *more windows shutting down noises* *jess.exe has stopped working* OKAY i feel like ! sangyeon’s is also more self explanatory :p i love the juxtaposition of boxing AND the arcade type fighter games ?? like both require very different sets of skills i feel like one is more physical the other is more mental ? but both require adapting to changes whether in the game or the boxing ring which as leader sangyeon would know a lot about, esp being flexible and quick to respond to different situations, and the “make your own glory” i feel is maybe more on the nose, but tbz are this man’s pride and joy you can see it literally anywhere and for him, as leader, to have made it this far with tbz, winning rtk and building their popularity through their hard work and efforts really is building his own glory and i just HHHHHHHHHH

YES EYYSFDHSHF CHANHEE YES - i said it in the tags of my srb before deleting it so i’ll just repeat it here but CHOI CHANHEE !!!!! this detail i didn’t quite process first watch was the continuous flashing of lights in all his scenes, like ... from the shots and the set it looks REALLY empty ?? but the flashing seems to indicate cameras and photos being taken of him despite there being no people we can really see in any of the shots ? WHICH IS SO COOL i think the implication is like “all eyes on him” type which SO TRU i love that idea, like i said the walking past the wedding dresses ? v heavily implies fashion designer which i think you mentioned mar :o ! and i see it in the sense of his tagline “make your own stereotype” bc white wedding dresses are the very traditional / typical choice and obviously feminine in stereotypes, whereas chanhee is wearing a SUIT which is all black in a very clean b/w set with no color which i feel is very stereotypically MASCULINE and the glasses too, it’s such an interesting contrast of his “stereotypically feminine” features (in my view) with very masculine symbols, like glasses we usually associate with more soft hearted / meek stereotypes ? but the geometric shape of the windows and again his suit seems to indicate the very opposite ? it’s a mixing of stereotypes which i think is the point, by putting those together he quite literally makes his own stereotype and puts on the crown while the cameras continue flashing while pointed at him AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

YOUNGHOON - okie might have less to say about this one :o i feel like both hak’s and younghoon’s i don’t see the connections quite as readily but ! i think it’s interesting that his tagline is “make your own classic” but then in the scenes itself he has a flip phone ??? with an antenna (okay boomer /j JDHFKFG JK PLS) and a teddy bear while in PERIOD stylized clothing and setting where those two things are more modern / contemporary in origin (but also not modern enough bc ,,, it’s a flip phone LOL) like 90s kid vibes ? you know but as an emperor in the joseon era haha :p while eating shrimp chips and reading a (comic ?) book, like idk too much of what it means but it’s a cool dichotomy LOL, think it might also tie into actor ! hoon bc it’s make your own classic and i think acting has become a very important aspect to him :o after seeing what he’s capable of in love revolution and his atbz video so it’s interesting u.u (need help w/ this one)

JACOB - think my explanation in han’s set’s tags didn’t really make sense so lemme ... reexplain LOL,,, so ! similar to his gen z video ? like he’s talked about how difficult it is to open up about his own feelings etc. and he said it’s less bc he realizes he needs to but rather just to make other people feel more comfortable when it comes to understanding him, and like the whole breaking the mirror with his reflection in the wanna be angry jacob, it’s about freeing himself to the point he can express the emotions he wants to ! in gen z it was about being able to be angry when he felt that way instead of being tied by his image of being just nice ? and in the video with his pilot uniform not only does he control the ride but he also rides on it himself ! quite literally making his own freedom (symbolically), a sort of realizing he can free himself ? from what’s been tying him down and i think the really big smile he has while riding it just comes to show how he wants to feel :,))) (jacob bae i care you) 

ERIC - last one :p AHHH this is one of my favs too, the quite literal “make your own pride” I LOVE IT ! sooo i think the biggest takeaway i got was that of course in this video his “pride” is symbolized by the hot pink car (that he’s going to pick up his christmassy date in of course u.u if he has a license which he does n- his driver’s license in this was literally his aaa / boy version of reveal photo which in no dmv anywhere would a license picture be allowed to look that good-) and LITERALLY when he finished and takes it for a joy ride while sitting on the roof he’s STILL covered in the dirt and grime stains ! from working on it ! which i think is so symbolic ! it’s my favorite detail actually, he literally put sweat into this car which is his pride and now that he’s finally riding around in it, it feels accomplishing ! his pride ! love that, also when he’s grabbing a stub from that flyer i noticed he chose “youth” over the others (which was like .... ca$h, beauty, ice cream, hamburger...) which i think also just indicates that despite all this hard work he put in he still cherishes his youth and still lets that be a huge part of who he is (i mean pink car so of course) so idk i think it’s very neat go bestie mwah

“Pokko,” Pieck’s voice comes out shakey as she looks into his eyes and tells him the good news. “I’m pregnant.”

Porco had braced himself for the worst, braced himself and made his heart numb like he had done before Marley shipped them off to war. It was instinct. Hearing those two words fall from Pieck’s lips shook Porco to his core. It’s his turn to be speechless now as tears sting his eyes. Porco walks over to the chair Pieck’s sitting in and drops before her. He looks at her in with such love and awe as he gently feels her belly.

Pieck blushes and smiles as Porco. She reaches out and touches his face, wiping away the wetness from both of his eyes with her thumbs. “Why are you crying, Pokko?” She teases him.

“Because,” Porco’s hands slide from her belly to her forearms and then he takes her hands and brings them up to his mouth and kisses her knuckles. “It’s ours,” he whispers as the tears sting his eyes again. Pieck smiles down at him and watches as he lays his head on her lap. Her chest swells with happiness, an emotion she only feels because of Porco.

When they leave the doctors office, Porco takes good care of her. He carries her in his strong arms back to their home and Pieck is so tired she can barely keep her arms around him for the entire ride. As soon as they get home he takes her straight to the bedroom and gently places her on the bed. Pieck smiles and squeezes Porco’s hand before closing her eyes and falling asleep. Porco watches her.

As the weeks go by they don’t talk about the limited time they have, or the fact that they won’t be there to raise the incarnation of their love. But it’s clear Pieck wants this baby. She sleeps curled up with her hands tucked over her lower belly. She’s reading books about child birth and childcare. She’s eating more, too. One morning she asked Porco if he thought she would be good at breastfeeding. Porco nearly chokes on his coffee. But he loves it, and he loves her.

When she’s ending her first trimester, she doesn’t complain about everything aching so much as she used to. She’s able to get around on her crutches with some help. She’s eating more and more and she jumps at any opportunity to sit outside in the garden and enjoy fresh air. The baby stretches Pieck’s skinny silhouette and widens her hips. She has to stop and take a few breaths sometimes but Porco is always beside her just in case.

“I felt it kick,” Pieck declares one hot summer night as they lay naked in bed. Porco looks at her with wide eyes.

“Really?” He asks in amazement, propping himself up on his elbow to look at Pieck.

Pieck smiles and nods, reaching for his hand and putting it on her big belly. They stared into each other’s eyes in silence, waiting for the baby to move again. When it did, a huge smile grew on Porco’s face.

“Wow,” he whispered. “It’s ours.” He rubbed her belly where the baby had just kicked.

Pieck giggles and reaches out to run her fingers over his hair and then caress his face. “Yes Pokko,” she wipes the tears beading in his eyes with her thumbs. “It’s ours.”

date: october 1st, 2020. character(s) involved: mentions of his parents.  about: full writing verification for breath. during chuseok of 2020 while he’s visiting incheon, he makes the trek to his parents’ grave. he says nothing besides for sitting in silence and between his quiet breaths, duri writes a song that he labels as “breath.” breath is a very personal song, to say the least, since it seemingly follows how exhausted he is. trigger warnings: mentions of death/parental death, mentions of a grave.  notes: this stuff isn’t due till sept 2021 but you’ll see me writing verifications probably over the next few weeks esp during christmas/winter break in like,, 2 weeks just because i have the concepts laid out and in my head. what can i say,, im a fan of working ahead and i have so many to write <3 word count: 1,185.

the beginning of autumn air, with colors beginning to really change upon the trees. he’s wrapped up in a sweater and other attributes of slightly warm clothing to fight against the autumn air. duri finds himself in the place that he hadn’t visited in a while; the final resting place of his parents. he didn’t often get the chance to come, something that happens to make him feel guilty in a way. but, it was something that he wasn’t able to help, simply because he doesn’t really have the time to come visit, with how crazy his schedules are able to get, whether that’s in knight or outside of knight. yet, an odd guilt had still struck inside of him. nonetheless, with his song book, and he sits down at the tree that they’re buried, the perfect place for sunlight and a nice shade. he likes to believe that on the summer days, the two sat entangled with each other under the tree, enjoying the sunshine; something that was there favorite. in the autumn and winter, perhaps they stayed in the night sky, living among the stars. it was always a nice thought to him. nonetheless, he takes his seat there, under the tree, in their spots on a warm, sunny, summer day. he’ll keep it warm for this time during a cool, breezy, autumn day. 

his eyes had closed as he was sat there, letting the cool breeze hit against his face, as he took soft breaths. these were the times that the sadness had always set in. it was something that had always been there for duri, something that haunted him on a day to day basis. but, there was only sometimes when it had really shined through, and visiting their final resting place was one of those places that it occurred. however, he seemingly kept it in, not allowing it to come out. he didn’t want it to be known that while he was gone that morning, that he was sad. he kept it to himself, it was always a lot better that way. he took a deep breath, his hand gripping that music notebook a little bit more. before, he was inspired by his breath, the way he got up that morning, and the morning autumn air that surrounded him.

he wanted to lay out how he felt on a day to day basis, at least, most days; he got lucky on a lot of the days, where he didn’t feel it most of the time. but, it still was something that was felt just about everyday; somedays it being bigger than others. his fingertips opened up the book, grabbing his pen, while he seemingly dived into his thoughts for a bit. he talks about the breaths he’s going to take inn the day, talks about resting; especially since he was currently doing such a task. he talks of the dreams that he left at the bottom of the bed, when he woke up that morning. it felt like the song was based off his morning and how he felt the rest of the day may feel - even if no one else around would have known. but, that felt like most days for the almost thirty-year-old. his exhausted heart makes an appearance, being sure to stick that right in there. 

an ode to closing his eyes at night, however, it’s different from most other people, as he often has a rather hard time going to bed at night. most times, he doesn’t fall asleep, sometimes he’s up at night. but, sometimes, he feels as if he falls asleep alone, even though someone is next to him; he always seems to be the last one to actually fall asleep, something that he almost can’t stand in a way. but, nonetheless, he talks about waking up, wanting to smile - but, he almost can’t, because it was a tiring night, a night that he didn’t actually get. though, for now, he’s at a stand still. 

where does he go next in the song? does he talk about the dreams he holds of them still being here? that they were here to watch him grow and support him in his dreams? are they happy where they are? are they no longer sad, like he was still sad after all these years? he hears all about them being in a better place... but, are they happy there? are they still scared because of how they went? are there where ever they are, living afraid like he constantly lives like? he shook it off, no... they’re good now, they’re happy now... they’re a dream, and he wished that he could stay in a dream like that. so, he wrote those words down about if he was able to stay in such a dream, hope for the things he can’t have, and if he could not be afraid anymore... it was a nice thought. maybe one day he’ll get that... maybe.

he brings his heart into the song once more. he has a big heart, something that’s rather known and he gets told often. however, duri almost feels like it isn’t. he feels as if it’s small in a way, simply because it’s exhausted still from everything he’s gone through. it needs to breathe again, he needed to let it breathe. but, once it breathes, it’ll be like birds flying through the sky. however, duri’s sky is endless, because it feels like something like this will never again. so, he again takes those elements and puts them into words, into lyrics. but, maybe his “spring” would come again, even if it’s raining and falling onto his world, but hopefully it helps him grow once more... that’s a day that he would like to live in - the next thoughts he translates into words and lyrics. 

in his writing, he repeats what he made the chorus to be; words that were comforting to him in a way, he had hoped that if it became a song that he released, that it would be able to comfort those that listened to the song. he thinks that’s something that’s rather nice and why he makes music in the first place, after all. he thinks he finished the words, but it felt as if something had been missing from the words, something that was fundamental to how he felt... loneliness. sure, he’s mentioned it before, but it was something else that was needed. so, he’s sat there for longer. before, he finally figures out the missing words, which were simple. he mentions the lonely day and it breathing... yeah, that was it. 

he looked the song over, deciding that it was good. at the top of the song, he simply writes “breath.” he shut the book, placing his pen in there, and leaned back to relax again. he takes a breath, letting out, and simply just breathes. he hopes that he could release this song one day, put his feelings out there once more. he really could only hope that bc entertainment would like it as much as he does.
