The Sims 4: New Game Patch (September 26th, 2023)

There’s a new game update for The Sims 4! This one comes in preparation for The Sims 4 Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack release on Thursday (September 28th).

As it’s been previously announced, the patch brings a new design for the “cook” menu, for easier navigation. It also allows sims to bake cupcakes in any oven (#FreeTheCupcakes).Advertisement

The update also brings a few bug fixes, as promised on the latest Laundry List.

If you have auto updates enabled in Origin’s “Application Settings”, the game will auto-update once you open Origin. If you have auto-updates disabled, you will need to manually update by clicking the game in your library.

To ensure your game is up to date, check the game version found in Documents > EA > The Sims 4 > GameVersion.txt. Your game should now read: PC: 1.101.290.1030 / Mac: 1.101.290.1230 / Console: Version 1.81.2

Let them eat (cup)cakes! Speaking of sweets… this update includes freeing the sweetest treat, cupcakes! We’ve delved deep into cooking, recipes, and ingredients. Expect to see the quality of food that’s prepared better reflect your Sim’s skill level, current mood, and appliance quality. Additionally, recipes across the Cooking, Gourmet Cooking, and Baking skills have been updated to better utilize more of the expected ingredients of the food that’s being prepared. One example of these updates: Players who own both Cottage Living and Get To Work can use the sugar, flour, and egg ingredients from the former with the baking recipes from the latter. The updates don’t stop there. We gave the Cool Kitchen Stuff Pack some love too! I scream, you scream, now Child Sims can scream for Ice Cream! Final Fantasy VII Remake Advent Calendar — Dec. 1

Welcome back! I started a new game of FFVII Remake today.

So you'll notice if you've read my old Advent Calendar that this is a massively decompressed game; I was in the habit of doing half the Midgar chapter on the first. Spoilers! This game is the Midgar chapter.

It's an expanded game and so the first dungeon takes nearly twice the length to clear (roughly). Mako Reactor no. 1 is still an immaculately designed setpiece dungeon to get you into the worldbuilding and mechanics. FFVII Remake is like taking the Kingdom Hearts combat and bolting real time with pause to it — hell, if you want you can pretty exclusively use shortcuts and play it as a KH game, or you can go to Classic mode with auto-attack and just focus on issuing commands.

Anyway, so Cloud is a mercenary who joins up with eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE to destroy these Mako Reactors run by the Shinra Electric Power Company. They want to do it because Mako, which powers the cyberpunkian dystopia city of Midgar, is actually the lifeblood of the planet. Cloud is helping them because he's being paid.

It's still a bit of a linear jaunt of a dungeon, but again: tutorials. The Guard Scorpion, aka the Scorpion Sentinel, is WAY more crazy setpiece of a boss. It skitters across the walls and bombards Cloud and Barret with missiles and lasers. Then I escaped with fifteen minutes to spare.

I knocked out two full chapters today, keeping me ahead of a chapter-a-day pace. Hopefully tomorrow I can knock out the third. I think that the midgame will have some more drag than this early segment, so we'll see!

First we will break down the meaning of each individual word.

There were also other definitions as well.

Now let's think about it: the economy is the revolving circulation of goods or services. And finance is simply money... so it's safe to say that financial economics is money of the circulation of goods and services.

This makes sense. As an ultra high net worth wealth manager, it's important to have a clear understanding of the circulatory money activity of goods and services.
