Festival di Sanremo del 2001.

Venne invitato Eminem: colui che ancor oggi è considerato il "re" dei rapper.

Durante la sua esibizione, però, il microfono gli fu spento volontariamente, al fine di censurare le brutte parole (in inglese) pronunciate nella canzone.

Quando finì, disse a Raffaella Carrà che il microfono non funzionava, seppur consapevole della ragione.

Da gran conduttrice Carrà cercò di sdrammatizzare e nei giorni a seguire lo difese, ma qualcosa comunque rimase.

Eminem, infatti, non fece più concerti in Italia se non nel 2018.

Molti criticarono gli autori che mostrarono un paese bigotto e stolto, consapevoli pure del tipo di musica del cantante che loro stessi avevano invitato.

-Bakugou has a skin care routine.

-After the drake disses, no one is allowed to play drake, it gets vetoed almost immediately. however when not like us comes on, everyone holds the 'A MINORRR' and it's fucking gold

-Bakugou, Mina, Jirou, and Kirishima are primarily in control of the music cause the class tends to like whatever they play, but if enough people yell skip, the song gets vetoed.

-Deku could roast the shit out of someone if he chose to, like if you put him in Wild'n'Out he'd gut bitches, he's just too nice and keeps his mouth shut 99.9% of the time. Considering he knows so much about people, their habits, and quirks, he's also unintentionally got dirt on people. All of saying is, Deku could 1000% pull a Kendrick Lamar and end someone's career if he just decided to.

-Inko Midoriya brings food over to the class dorms for those who choose to remain in the dorms. She's the emergency contact for like, half of the class, and is essentially everyone's mom. If something's wrong, Momma Midoriya is already in the mom van and on the way.

-Mitsuki is a wine mom. Tell me I'm wrong. I'll wait.

-Kirishima has like, 50 flavors of protein powder. it's all stacked neatly on a shelf in his dorm.

-Kaminari has been banned from the kitchen, he's too much of a liability once he starts 'cooking'.

-Sato keeps a cookie jar, and bakes fresh cookies every couple days - it lives in the kitchen off to the side. He's also just really laid back, and if you're on your cycle and have a specific pastry you're craving, if you ask, he'll make it for you fresh if he has the time.

-Kirishima is a hugger and if you've had a bad day, and need a hug, just hug him. He'll sit there and hold you as long as you need, stating it's, "manly to hug it out!"

-Deku also gives amazing hugs, but is too shy to do so with people he's not close with.

-Mina and Hagakure host dance parties every Friday night for the girlies. No boys are allowed, but Aoyama is invited because he's fabulous.

-Bakugou, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero play Fortnite and COD together. Kirishima called them the 'Baku-squad' once and that's when that term was first coined by the group (in my headcanons). Bakugou secretly likes that it's named after him.

-Deku, Tsu, Uraraka, Todoroki and Ilda have a Minecraft server together. Deku built a massive All Might and proceeded to live in it, Tsu has a hut by the mangroves, Uraraka lives in the cherry biome, and then Todoroki and Ilda have this really organized massive house in a spruce forrest. When everyone saw it for the first time, they all went, "holy shit...". Lest to say it soon becomes the HQ of the server when they suit up for the ender dragon fight.

-Speaking of Minecraft, Deku builds the most elaborate red stone you've ever seen, but cannot explain how and what he built to save his life. He also owns all of the Minecraft books that came out in like, 2016.

-Aizawa lives on Melatonin gummies, black coffee, and shear force of will. I also feel like at one point in his early 20s he smoked cigarettes then quit.

-Sero's hammock is something he keeps as a privilege after Bakugou broke it.

-Bakugou just happens to 'make too much' food and happens to make sure his friends have eaten properly.

-Present Mic is a die hard Mitsuki fan.

-Aizawa genuinely loves his students and does little things for them. Like at graduation, there's a small note from him to each student in their diplomas for them to find later. It's personalized for each of them, but he gives his personal contact to all in case they ever need anything (he would drop everything and help but he won't say that out loud).

-If Bakugou or Midoriya ever got ahold of Thor's hammer, they'd both be worthy. Bakugou more-so at the end of the series than the beginning. Kirishima could also lift it depending on the situation.

-Mineta's been sent to detention multiple times for looking up things he should NOT be googling on the school WiFi. Aizawa is really sick of his shit, he refuses to even look at the links anymore cause it's bad, and so he just lectures him like a hopeless parent and then gives the Chromebook back lmao

-Aizawa uses his body wash as face wash and has flawless skin.

-If Denki was a vine, he’d be the *calling roll call* “Uh, Shithead?” “It’s pronounced shi-thead”

We spend the afternoon here, talking about all the things that come into our heads, most of which is music, happily, as I always have a lot to say on the subject. I let her go through my CD collection, and she confesses she hasn't heard of most of the artists.

“Bloc Party, really?” I say, showing the CD to her. “You don’t know them?”

“No! Why would I?”

“I don’t know, because they’re famous?”

“I know Eminem,” she picks that one out of the pile, and I smirk, “That’s a pretty old one. I don’t really listen to it anymore.”

“Hm,” she turns it over in her hands. “Well, just letting you know, you forgot to take all the stickers off.” Her thumb nail picks at the corner of the parental advisory sticker, and I snatch it out of her hands. 

“No, leave it.”

“Leave it?”

“Yeah, the sticker stays on. C’mon, everyone knows that.”

She examines me like I’m the weirdo. “Um! It’s a sticker, the same as a price tag. You just peel it off like a normal person would.”

“No, you keep it on so everyone knows you listen to music with bad words in it.”

This makes her laugh. “Oh, yeah, very important. Sorry. I would have peeled it off, because if my mam saw an album with that sticker on it, she’d have brought it to the charity shop the next day.”

“Bit strict, hm?”

“Yeah, I suppose. She just doesn’t like the idea of me being exposed to certain things.”

I’d like to ask Evie what specifically she’s not allowed to be around, but judging by the bizarre way Shane clucks around her like a mother hen, I can guess. Alcohol. Drugs. Boys like me. I’m curious what it’s like to have parents that care about any of that stuff. I can’t imagine. 

“How would she feel about you coming to the festival? Does she know there’ll be songs with bad words there?”

“No, obviously,” she gives me a playful shove, “She’s not going to be going on iTunes and finding the artists. She barely even knows how to use the internet, and she’ll be fine about the festival as long as she knows Shane is there.”

“What’s it with Shane, anyway?”

“Oh, God. She loves Shane. For some reason, she’s just obsessed with him, and keeps trying to get me to go out with him.”

“You don’t want that though, do you?”

She snorts. “Hardly. That’d be so weird.” She grabs my Prodigy CD and slips the booklet from inside. “He’s like my brother or something. It’s just sick.”

“Right, right, so, like, just curious, what kind of guy would you-”

“That’s you,” she interrupts, holding a picture of Keith Flint with his tongue out up to my face. He’s got that green, clown hair thing going on and really intense black makeup under his eyes. I laugh, surprised. “What?”

“That’s you,” she taps her nail against it. “Him.”

“Why? Because he looks bad?”

A shrug, “Yeah.”

God, it’s so stupid. I understand there is no sophistication to this joke, that it’s just an ugly-looking man, but that’s exactly why it’s so funny. She grins at me as I snicker into the back of my wrist. “What?”

“You know that’s good, c’mon.”

“I actually don’t know why I even said that. That’s the sort of thing I say in my own head.”

“Very funny, okay, well two can play at that game.”

I reach for my Dodos, Beware of the Maniacs album, and she starts protesting before I can say a word. “No!” she says, “No, no! That’s not me!”

“Uh huh!” 

“That’s offensive, you can’t say that!”

“Evie…” I show her the image.

“No!”

“...Is that you?”

I grab her leg and we fall about, howling, wiping tears from our eyes, laughing until I think I might be sick. If someone ever asked me what we were laughing about, I’d have to play it off, and pretend that I didn’t really think it was so funny, that it was a bit juvenile and stupid, but I would be lying about the first part. For some reason, nothing has even been as hilarious as pointing to an image of a big, looming bald man’s face and asking Evie if it is her.

It goes on like this, as we try to find more ugly things to compare each other to, eventually pulling that magazine from under my bed and wiping off the dust to flip through, eventually landing on an very serious article about a family of inbred royals from Austria. We don’t even have to say anything. I just turn the page and we start shrieking. 

“Oh, God,” Evie’s face is red, and she has tears in her eyes. “I promise I’m usually not this weird in front of people.”

“Me neither, fuck sake, we have to calm down.” 

We look at the picture and burst out laughing again. 

I decide it would be cool, eventually, to show off my immaculate, curated CD collection. I hold her hostage while starting and stopping my CD player, running through all the best songs and the best albums in my possession. Evie keeps pretending to know them, but then doesn't recognise their biggest hits. 

“Of course I know Gorillaz,” she scoffs. “I just don’t know this song, is all.”

“This is Feel Good Inc.”

“Yeah, I just don’t know it.”

“You’re lying to me!”

“No! I’m not caught up on new music yet! I don’t have time for everything…”

“Evie…”

“What?”

“This album is five years old.”

When I try to teach her German, she fares no better. She pores over my textbook, trying her best to pronounce all the long words at the back, the ones that are, like, five different words squashed together into one. I understand the difficulty on one hand, but on the other, it's really not that complicated.

“You have to stop trying to pronounce them weird.” I'm know I am beginning to come across as an impatient person. “It’s not like French. Just think in English.”

She takes a determined breath and gallantly butchers the word “entschuldigung.”

We go back to the start of the book and try “eins, zwei, drei” again. 

“I’m tired of this! I can’t do the throat sound,” she protests, so I relinquish the book and lay it on the bedside table. 

“Well, just pointing it out, but you’d get it after a while if you kept trying.”

She peers at me. “It’s not a very nice language, is it? It sounds harsh.”

“There’s something about it,” I say. “Like any language, you know? Once you get to know it, you start to discover the nice things.”

“Are you worried about having to speak it all the time?”

“Kind of. I’m mostly worried that I’ll have a strong accent, you know? And everyone will just think of me as the foreign guy, rather than who I really am.”

“Hm, yeah, I never thought about that.”

“It’s hard to be myself when I speak German. I just don’t know how to express what I want to say, or to be funny and whatever.”

 “Well, you could just show them an ugly picture in a magazine and say ‘ist das du?’”

“Thanks, I’m sure I’ll come across great.”

Her eyes dart across my face. “I don’t think you should worry. I think everyone will like you, even if you have a bad accent. They’ll know just by being around you that you’re cool, and they’ll line up to be your friend.”

“You think so?”

“Yeah, Jude, I think you’re really nice.”

I smile. Resting my head mightn’t have been the greatest idea, because my body quickly informs me it is time to give in and sleep. Insomniac nights routinely catch up on me by the afternoon, and now heaviness pulls at my lids. With the sun heating my body through the window, and the soft, dreamy melody of a Radiohead song coming from the speakers, I want to stop fighting. Evie too watches the waves outside the window, and her breath moves with them, a meditation. I shut my eyes. It’s just for a few minutes, just to ease the sting. Then we can talk some more. I really want to talk to her more…

Game Shakers / Ch. 1

Summary: 2000s seemed to be quite the highlight between the fashion and the rise of pop culture. Seemingly the new faces of shock value, rapper Marshall Mathers and rockstar King Woods seem to find a common ground amongst the unnecessary bullshit.

2019 - Interview

"I understand that you're not the type to talk about your personal life, especially your relationship. If you could, how would you describe meeting your wife and her band?"

Marshall bites his lip in thought for a moment. He nods, agreeing with the idea, "meeting her? It was funny as hell. What I thought about her and the girls? They're hardcore, even to this day."

1999 - Vans Warped Tour

Fame was a peculiar bitch and for some odd reason, she continued to bless King and the girls. One of the greatest gifts they received was the privilege to be a part of the infamous pop-punk music festival, Vans Warped Tour. 

Following a lineup of bands who were as new as them while others were considered veterans in the industry. Not to forget, there were even a couple of non-alternative artists joining the fun. 

Playing the main stage, their hit song 'Down with the Sickness' received great reception as the crowd beautifully replicated King's belches. If there was one thing that made the girls wanna break face on stage was the obvious diversity in the crowd that screamed for them.

The amount of women, especially ones who resembled King and Tink. It was clear that the band's presence in the genre was creating a positive change that only a handful of minority artists tried to achieve. Reaching the end of their stage, they played 'You Spin Me Round'.

As usual the girls explored outside of their marked spots, interacting with the fans. King would let the crowd scream the lyrics into the mic with a smile, Harley erratically swung her head until she was dizzy, Maliyah was strumming from the top of the stereos while security watched with intensity, Iris was spraying the crowd and crew with water, and Tink was crowd surfing with the confetti filled balls. 

Unbeknownst to them, a nearly petrified Marshall watched from the side of the stage where he was guided to wait for his moment to walk on stage. Beside him stood Deshaun, who couldn't hold back his laugh. 

"Well shit, Doody," the taller man smiles. "How the hell are we gonna beat that? I ain't never seen some shit like that before."

Marshall shakes his head, "I feel sick." He tries to run off only to be stopped by his best friend. Deshaun shakes his head, "no, the fuck you're not. Come on, man, we've been waiting for this. You ain't that kid who'd choke up anymore, you're the shit, Doody."

Their eyes catch sight of the sweat drenched woman come off stage, however, King was sporting an open wound on her eyebrow as dots of blood decorate her eye. Despite the obvious mix of worry and confusion on her members' faces, the leader walked with a grin.

As they went to walk past Marshall and Deshaun, the blond couldn't help his curiosity. "Aye," he calls out, "are you okay?" 

The girls turn to look at him, just now realizing he was there. King nods, "yeah. If anything, this just a regular day for us." 

"You bleed on a regular?" Marshall raises an eyebrow. King laughs, "not so much that. I'm really clumsy and the hardcore scene doesn't make it any better."

Deshaun joins in, "we just saw. That was one hell of a show y'all put on, never seen some shit like that." Maliyah cheeses, "just you wait, getting caught up with the crowd is a lot easier than it seems."

Iris leans over King's shoulder, "are y'all new here? I don't think I've seen your faces before." Her Canadian accent was clear and thicker than a Snickers.

"Yeah, I'm Eminem, but you can call me Marshall and this is my hype man, Proof. We're rappers," the bleach blond introduces, gnawing on a piece of gum.

Tink raises an eyebrow, "oh so y'all some new, new faces." Marshall shrugs, "somethin' like that." Deshaun waves him off, "don't mind him, y'all. He gets a little on the fence when speaking about rapping, white boy and all."

"Why? You don't gotta act all like that," King shakes her head. "If there's anyone who really understands, it's us. Despite the bullshit you get for being white, man, go ahead and shove your foot up their asses."

Before Marshall could respond, a small smile peaking across his face, a yell interrupts them. "King?! Girls?! What the fucking Hell?" 

They all turn around to see a tall, bodybuilder like man runs over the group. At first, Marshall tenses, impulsively judging him to be King's boyfriend. 

Harley pulls a 'whoopsie' expression, "let's go to the principal office, kids." King laughs, explaining to the boys, "that's Theo, he's our manager/big brother. He's only 34, but we've caused all his hair to fall out in a matter of three months."

Marshall snorts, quickly looking away. In the meantime, the group of five walk over to the stressed out Theo in hopes of deescalating his heartbeat. Deshaun pulls Marshall to the stage after a technician gestures for them. 

"Let's go, Doody," he smirks. "We can find the hottie with the tats later." 

2019 - Interview

"Wait, cause I remember that day, too," King laughs. "The first time I met The Eminem, I nearly scared the shit out of him."

The interviewer laughs, clapping his hands. "So, the late 90s-early 2000s was the peak era for both of your careers. How did you guys socialize being a part of two different genres, different entourages?"

King rubs the palm of her hands, "well... that's a good question cause we've both had a lot going on at the time. For the remaining of the Warped Tour, we hung out, but afterwards, we relied on calling each other."

"Wasn't he also with Kim at this point, as well? How did you take the idea of him being taken?" 

"Yes, they were together. I believe, that was the first time that they got married," King nods. "However, at the time, I never really cared or saw him in a romantic or sexual way."

"Really? Why?"

She shrugs, "it's simple, really. As the girls and I were starting our career in a vulnerable spot, we were more focused on trying to appease the public and our fans than we were trying to build a social life in the industry."

"Like, Iris and Tink had their sweethearts riding hard for them whereas Maliyah was stressing over the well-being of her family, and Harley and I were just focused on being the best we could be."

"And by 'vulnerable spot' in your career, what do you mean by that?"

King raises her hand, showing off the tatted backside, "Tink and I are black, Maliyah's Mexican with indigenous roots, Harley is mixed with Vietnamese and it shows in her features, and Iris is a woman pursuing a career in alternative metal."

She continues, "despite how open the alternative culture is supposed to be, it is very white male dominated and we were taking a risk at pursuing our dreams. Hell, our record label was taking a huge fucking risk with us."

1999 - MTV VMAs

It just seemed as if gifts just keep giving this year. The girls were nominated for a few awards and given an opportunity to perform on the VMA stage. 

Working with an amazing, family-like team, the girls had faith in being styled as a group without looking uncoordinated. King was dressed in a black, lace corset that stopped at her midriff paired with skinny, ripped black jeans, black leather fur-lined trench coat and matching buckled platform boots.

Maliyah was in a long, tight dramatic mermaid dress with a trail that was lined with black fur. The right side consisted of a slit that showed off her thick, platform heels designed with lunar and solar gold markings. Tink was in a one shoulder laced corset with black skinny jeans and heeled boots.

Harley dawned a simple black tank with a leather fur-lined trench that dusted the back of her knees paired with black denim bellbottoms and pointed heeled boots. Iris wore a black lace bodice silk gown that ended at her knees paired with furry sandal heels.

Posing for the paparazzi, they each posed accordingly. King and Harley simply stared down the lens while Iris and Tink grinned like the perfect celebrities and Maliyah showed off a smirk. Moving on, a journalist calls the girls over in hopes for an interview.

"Hello, girls," the woman smiles over her mic. "You all look so beautiful, today. What's the inspiration and who's responsible?" 

Maliyah answers, "we simply just went off of who we are and what fits. Now, who's responsible will have to be our amazing team known as Hoodwinkle. They just really know how to balance alternative looks with street looks."

"Well, you ladies look amazing," the reporter nods. "So, I just wanted you a couple of questions, if you don't mind. First one, how are you feeling tonight since you're nominated in four categories?"

Harley shrugs, "we wanna feel confident, but in reality, we're practically shitting our pants." The others nod, laughing. Iris adds, "I can't lie, I don't think any of us prepared a speech just in case."

King waves her off, "at least it'll be authentic if we win." The reporter laughs, nodding, "true. Next one, are there any artists that you've been waiting to see?"

Tink claps her hands, "Ms. Lauryn Hill." The girls nod in agreement. King adds on, "Smash Mouth. Our boys, Blink-182. Who else?" Iris chimes in, "and TLC."

Harley snaps her fingers, accidentally snagging King's nose ring. "Oh, my bad," she laughs at the playful side-eye. "Isn't there a newbie performing tonight? His name sounds like some damn skittles or some."

"Eminem?" The reporter asks. The drummer nods, "yeah. We met the kid a couple months back during Warped Tour, he's cool as hell." 

King and the others nod in excitement. "Oh, yeah," the leader laughs. "Add his tiny ass to the list, that's our boy." The reporter laughs, hoping to receive a story from the new information.

"So, you guys said that you met the rapper just recently, right?" She rhetorically asks. "What's he like? Is he as vulgar as his lyrics? How does he treat you since you're women?"

Plz talk about leo whitefang guilty gear

He doesn’t talk about it much these days but Leo Whitefang used to be in an amateur barbershop quartet. Of course, he was the baritone. None of the other members of the quartet are important to the world of Guilty Gear but they're all living pretty comfortable lives and they meet together once a year on principle.

Leo Whitefang isn’t the only Guilty Gear character with a musical history.

After the outlawing of electronics, there was a shift in musical culture - it took a while for magical instruments (see I-No's guitar) or the public magic radio to be created, so for a period after the dawn of the 21st century, there was a rise in the popularity of both acoustic music and “music that can be performed anywhere”. Acapella and barbershop groups started forming to perform in public places in place of radios and radio stations (which had yet to be replaced at this point). This also led to the rise in popularity of vocal-heavy genres (think Gospel or Doo-Wop).

It didn’t take long for the radio to be replaced however, along with magical versions of electronic instruments, so by the time Guilty Gear takes place, musical genres have shifted back to what you would expect (with just a little more Rock than before). But acapella and barbershop groups occasionally go through a cultural revival, especially for festivals and celebrations - so you wouldn’t be hard pressed to find a couple more Guilty Gear characters who at least dabbled in it.

Ky Kiske was in a choir group for a short period (although he's not a very good singer by his own admission). Johnny briefly tried out an indie music career, trying to do “An Elvis thing”, which didn’t last very long. And to this day Kum Haehyun can be found putting on impromptu performances in music shops when she finds an instrument she likes.

But back to Leo. While most of his former barbershop buddies don't really matter, he did meet his best friend through them. Singing lead in their group was a wannabe superstar with a passion for mixology. Though they’re not important to the story of Guilty Gear, they are still to this day Leo Whitefang's best friend - and help him work on definitions for his dictionary. This man is known as Gem. Short for “Guilty Gear Eminem”, which is his full name.

Gaz is ACTUALLY the type of guy who can listen to everything. I totally see him listening to Nirvana in the morning, 2Pac the day, and Adele the night. Mainly into american rap and hip-hop tho, probably a huge Gorillaz fan.

I KNOW he hates phonk, i just do. He really hates it. He surprisely really likes Price's music tastes, and always ask him for new songs recommandations. Vibes with John because they have similar tastes when it comes to pop.

Always listens to music when he's working out, walking outside or chilling, always has earphones on him. ALWAYS. Definitely has many playlists for every situations.

Used to listen to electro and techno all the time. Was so sure he could rap like Eminem when he was in middle school...

This man has serious anger issues, and that's the only reason why i think he listens to metal. He's a chill metalhead tho, like, he doesn't go to festivals or any event. A Slayer and Cannibal Corpse lover, he likes it fast and hard.

And surprisely, im 100% sure bro loves metalcore and nu metal (he probably listens to Slipknot religeously...) Enjoys jazz and sad rock songs when he's home alone. Radiohead saved his life. Says he hates everyone's music tastes except Price's.

Pretends he doesn't listen to music, and he never does in public. (And he actually doesn't often, only when he's off duty.)

Used to be a Nirvana teenager, the basic Kurt Cobain lover. Probably tried to learn how to play guitar when he was younger, and sucessed to have a decent level.

Johnny is a radio music tastes guy. He listens to whatever comes on the radio. Harry Styles? Of course. Mäneskin? Pretty sure he loves them. Even Lady Gaga? HELL YEAH!

But, we all agreed that our Johnny boy is a pround scottish man. And i love to think that he actually listens to that angry scottish music. 100% Sure he loves Imagine Dragons and Ed Sheeran... He thinks Ghost's music tastes are cool as fuck.

He hates earphones and headphones, he needs everyone to listen to his playlist with him. He randomly starts to sing, whistle or hum when he's slightly bored.

He never tried to do anything with music, he knows damn well he can't sing even if he loves to do it as a joke.

John “bravo 0-6” Price

Good old rock. A good Black Sabbath on Spotify while he drinks some whiskey at home is always good. Knows a lot of rock (and some 80's metal) bands, thats why he gets along with Ghost's tastes so well. He's a nostalgic man, he has tones of vinyls at home.

Kyle influenced what he listens to a lot, im sure they made a playlist for eachother. Really likes Gorillaz just because Kyle loves it. Nothing more to say, this man's tastes are perfects.

Usually only listen to music when he's alone, but won't hesitate to give song recommandations if you ask nicely. If you're way younger than him, he'll laugh and tell you won't like any of that because you're not old enough to apreciate best things.

Used to wanna be in a band when he was a teen, but he quickly gave up. Can play the acoustic guitar pretty well and has a nice voice.

Yes, absolutely there is some Backstory that's been somewhat hinted at that I think will explain some of his ire and further develop him as a foil to blitzø, who, after all, early in s1 could for a second there have believably joined him due to feeling objectified and used by stolas after a lifetime of his talents (which in the episode and generally all episodes are shown to be substantial) going to waste, due to, yes, his own Trauma, but also due to Class specifically. but of course, what striker doesn't get is that blitzø actually likes loves stolas and also stolas loves blitzø and wants to do better by him RIP

(sidenote, I think if striker found out that the reason blitzø acts Like That around stolas is to keep himself emotionally safe/at a distance, because he doesn't feel good enough for stolas, he'd flip a table, not because he cares about blitzø's mental health, but because This Is What He's Been Trying To Make Points About The Whole Time Dammit These Blue Bloods Take Our Best And Turn Them Into Whining Toys Desperate For Their Approval!!!!)

but yes, something that will potentially make blitzø see/understand where striker is coming from, and why he's unhappy with the way things are (in ways moreso than everyone else is unhappy about the way things are), and even maybe why striker was hoping to find some commonality with him? because they... do have a lot of common ground....?

sidenote here, I don't think this can be entirely divorced from stolas' and fizzarolli's arcs, the former I think could potentially eventually abandon the expectations forced upon him and become blitzø's employee/partner, and the latter... more unsure. still need some data, but it'll definitely pertain to his relationship with asmodeus being out in the open now. my dream is poly life, but hey, i'm never expecting it, even in queer shows. not everything can be sense8 after all --

but stolas and fizz represent two sides of the status quo that are going to dismantle it in their own way. stolas by not subjecting himself and therefore others to what he's been taught he Has to do and be, and fizz through his relationship with ozzie. they're already so much more effective than anything striker has managed to achieve, despite his beliefs

but also that striker is blitzø's shadow. blitzø feels hopeless and alone, but he's got a lot of people (especially as of halfway through s2) who would go out to bat for him, who want him in their lives, who really really care... the person blitzø doesn't want to be is... striker. striker is a match for blitzø in every way (share first place at the harvest moon festival), has many similar opinions (oh great, now the supremacist is agreeing with me), and is similarly jaded... and has nobody at all

the point is that striker's goal is to dismantle the status quo... sort of... it's to destroy something in any case, to get vengeance as some kind of vague Concept (which does make me think he got his vengeance and is just post-vengeance lashing out) but it doesn't seem like he's thought that far ahead, and now it's become personal, it's all centred around blitzø (and fizz, but blitzø moreso) "betraying" their kind, and stolas and potentially fizz, now after oops are symbolic of everything that's Wrong, but also... it would hurt blitzø specifically..... both western energy and oops showed blitzø reacting emotionally to someone getting hurt because of striker. differently, because his relationship with stolas and his relationship with fizz are two distinct kinds of fucked up, but in the end, because of blitzø's place in the story and the Thing that striker is trying to destroy (powerful demons and the class traitors that allow themselves to become their pets) it aaaall centers back around to him and striker becoming more and more unhinged about, specifically, him, and also maybe wanting to drag blitzø to his level and finally finally agree with his point of view...

at least... that's what i want it to

so I want it to get more personal from here on out. striker seemed to really lose it at the end of oops, there is no cool left AND THEN BLITZØ BLEW HIM UP. MY GUY! IT'S PERSONAL NOW IF IT WASN'T BEFORE! (and it was getting personal before, but I'm gonna break you like a horse really cinched it -- and that was before his manic attempts at murdering fizz in front of blitzø)

I don't necessarily think blitzø would want to "decimate" him, not because striker isn't really dangerous and hasn't actively tried to kill two people blitzø loves (and moxxie and millie by proximity), but because to blitzø this isn't as personal... yet. kill, maybe, but I don't think he's currently out looking for a fight, and I think once it does get that personal, the dynamic will be too complicated to measure in simple terms of destruction, i think it'll be a cauldron of things...

I need to go back and rewatch western energy to remind myself of how exactly he taunts stolas that blitzø isn't coming for him, just to convince myself that there's something in there that's more than just glee about stolas being hurt, but also that he's happy that blitzø hasn't been completely lost to this relationship (fizz is way more of a lost cause according to striker), and maybe he can cut that thread for him, who knows. put him back on the right path. it's a gift, really, killing stolas

and i want blitzø to pity striker. i think that would drive him right over whatever edge he hasn't toppled off already, if blitzø understood and saw him and still told him that he was wrong, but now he felt sorry for him

as for via, great potential for a stolas and blitzø co-dads team-up? i don't imagine she'd get seriously hurt in the way other characters have been, but then that's my own limitations, simply because she's been safe from harm so far... but yeah, co-dads team-up. feels like a later down the line thing (well, most of this does)

i do want striker to land some kind of truly painful hit on blitzø. something he can't walk away from without actually getting help. whether that's hurting people he loves, or hurting him in a way so that he needs to be saved (listen, i want the latter... big fan of emotional whump blitzø, but the show has us covered on that front, it's time for him to need saving after getting stabbed and beaten and what have you, stolas can't have all the fun!)

In Conclusion: do I have real Theories? not as such. I just have Feelings.

a. I want blitzø to understand striker because of striker's past, and for that understanding to make things worse between them b. I want striker to take whatever messed up emotions he has and fine-tune them in blitzø's direction and everything he cares about (hell, maybe barbie could get involved in this somehow, so far she's been very far off to the left) c. I want striker to really really hurt blitzø. I want blitzø to at one point be genuinely, deeply afraid and in pain for a prolonged amount of time (so not just the brief parts in oops, I'm talking full episode angst) because of striker -- I think especially because striker has lost a few bouts against I.M.P. it's time for him to get a real win. and for blitzø to get hurt. sorry, that's what you get for being the narrative's specialist little boy d. I want striker to accidentally bring stolas and blitzø closer together, perhaps by kidnapping/threatening via e. I want striker to function as blitzø's narrative/symbolic shadow for the rest of the show f. do I want striker to survive the show? idk. maybe. I like a villain whose motives you get, but who never gets redeemed, and whether that can happen and him surviving, who knows g. I want there to be more horse-based innuendos, I think that's their shared language h. (I also want him to start crying because he's so damned tired of everyone making his esteemed rivalries and attempts at decent threatening behaviours and murder into a sex thing. can't a guy be a mass-murdering hitman in peace these days?)

as for villains: striker and mammon? striker and paimon? the hypocrisy of striker working with people like stella being writ even larger, simply because his whole set of ideals have been upended by how much he wants to destroy/dominate/win over one fucking guy that lives in his head rent free (blitzø has that gift)

In Real Conclusion: in the journey to try and get at blitzø, striker destroys the last parts of himself that he could hold onto. something like that. that would be cool. also. want him to make blitzø cry at one point. just cos.
