Yay!! Here's my nonhuman headcanons for everyone I watch!

Mumbo is an android! He's completely human-passing, he tends to do things the 'human way' (building things instead of modifying himself), and he has never ever mentioned that he's a robot, so everyone thinks that he's a really weird human. He does not know of human concepts like 'fear of death'. Nobody understands why he never got redstone poisoning despite his complete lack of PPE. It's just because he's not organic

Grian is a parrot avian ofc but he also gained cod-like traits when he started spending more time near the ocean. It happens

Gem was human at the start of the season, but she's an anglerfish hybrid now! Same reason as Grian

Doc being a creeper goat cyborg thing is canon so I'll share a little hc on his cybernetic enhancements. He can detect redstone signals! It allows him to locate problems with his machines without having to look around, saves a lot of time. A side effect of this is that he knows that Mumbo is an android because he can detect his redstone!

Etho is a phantom hybrid! He needs very little sleep and he still manages to be sleep deprived. He doesn't use fire res potions to protect himself from the sun, instead he wears his clothes over his wings. He says that it works perfectly, so why would he change it?

Tango. blaze. we all know this one. He doesn't take any special precautions around water. In fact, he forgets that water is a thing until it starts raining and then he screams really loud about it

Pearl is a shapeshifting salmon! She enjoys her human form, but she will correct anyone who calls her a human because she's actually a fish

Joel is a moth hybrid. Yes, he does like lights. Just look at his base!

Well Cub being a vex isn't exactly a headcanon is it. Specifically I hc that he used to be human and became a vex later on, while Scar was born a vex! (the cannibalism is unrelated to this. there's just something wrong with him)

I've been doing another whiteboard and it's so good honestly

These whiteboards give me an opportunity to just throw ideas around without having to commit to a proper canvas or deal with drawing things seriously, it's so good to use this to just practice and spitball ideas around.

That said, however, i need to work on my seeker designs a little. Not sure if i like the current way i draw skywarp and thundercracker's head things. Starscream's are like the way minecraft ocelot ears work, but SW and TC currently just have horns, not very creative.

I also really enjoy being able to tell them apart in uncolored doodles purely by their wing stripes, so I'm thinking of changing TC's stripes to yellow. Maybe even giving the stripes a bit more texture, like wavy lines for SW and zigzags for TC.

Would all of their deaths be a poor case of wrong place, wrong time? It was a scant few seconds in reality, but the world slowed to a sticky-slow pace as Tango watched Jimmy get struck with the arrow. They both winced in tandem but Jimmy, Jimmy winced right off the edge of the tower, and Tango cried out, reaching for his soulmate in helpless terror.

Jimmy fell. Two mere words. Tango stuttered on an inhale as his gaze followed his rancher, their hands twin to Adam and God, reaching for one another as if it would help. Jimmy with relentless furvor. Tango with despair.

In the breath before Jimmy struck the ground, Tango thought, oh. So this is what it means to be cursed.

His hand curls into a fist; he uses his forearm to push himself off the tree, determination warring with grief in his gaze. “Please,” he begs, anything and anyone who will listen. He’ll bargain with devils and gods and eldrich entities; he doesn’t care, he just needs Grian to be safe. He needs to find him. He needs to—

the complicated and highly silly worldbuilding/headcanons of mumbo k jumbo:

Seasons 2-8: ‘Human.’ Absolutely not human though. Like this man just doesn’t know he’s a shapeshifter. It’s not like he has a reference for what humans are though? No one on HC is. At least not that he thinks is human? Because there’s no one on hc that’s like him. Clearly shows signs of being a shapeshifter. Clearly shows signs of his shapeshifting abilities being able to affect others temporarily, too. He changes form, or someone else does at his hands? It’s just the Narrative/Story Magic/Builder’s Magic!

Season 8: multiple things happen at once. The most noticeable, the soul stealing thing. He knows but only actually processes afterwards that grian never was human in the first place, a real testament to exactly how crazy his perspective is. Boatem meeting is called, they figure out Mumbo’s a shapeshifter and probably has been the entire time they’ve known him, and then Scar goes, “what about the vampirism?”

Season 8, continued: “What do you mean, ‘what about the vampirism?’” says the other four members of boatem, mumbo loudest of all.

Season… I don’t know. maybe before hermitcraft, even. or somewhere between season 2 and 5. Mumbo is bitten by a vampire. Mumbo is a shapeshifter who is a human at the time, so it looks like nothing changes. It’s kind of an awkward exchange, but they both go about their day like nothing happened. mumbo doesnt figure out that vampire was actually a vampire.

Season 5 sometime: Mumbo is in his base. the Convex are spying on him. Mumbo is quite clearly a vampire but he is still very much under the impression he is human. he’s accidentally shapeshifted into his vampire form, but is clueless. he probably just thinks his base is lagging out his mirror. The Convex know mumbo’s a vampire, and have seen him as such, but he seems human next time he’s seen

And, if we’re feeling extra silly, though this one’s optional (listen. none of this is set in stone.): Post-moonfall, the void. The dormant Watcher abilities gained from the soulsteal awaken, or at least begin to.

Aside from making fics and random duo names, I have other talents. Including making my own headcanons that I think should happen. Yes, I am bored.

Oli, from empires, should be an albino enderman. Think of it! It gives more to albino enderman species, a fanon species of enderman, and oli as a tall , telaporting, water scared, guy!

Have CPK visit Empires. In dsmp lore, he is a dimension traveler, and it makes sense if he can cross the minecraft multiverse. Also, cpk is also sometimes Olis boyfriend. I think the two talking and caring for eachother would be great.

Pearl as goddess of moon, Scott god of stars, and Grian demigod of sun. This says it all.

Flower husbands for s2 of Empires. Please. I love this ship and I think with the way Jimmy's character is heading, he is going to need some allies.

Make Zedaph part of the wither rose family(gem, fwhip, sausage). This is my personal headcanon, for some reason, but I like the idea. Plus, just Zed has amethyst eyes, he already has purple eyes.

Every tftsmp version of Ranboo is family. Like, present. Ran, Zachary, ash, Renbob, Ranbutler, John john, Ranboo, others. Just all are different versions of Enderman, Albino Enderman, and human. Yes, I want Ranboo family
