im having my tea break and then im going to sort out supper but omg. the last time these books were in order was 2005 and we have technically moved 2-3 times since then, and they hadn’t been in order for almost two decades. holy shit.

what to do with them now that they are in small manageable categories is still beyond me but you know, they are there to be retrieved should anyone need them. The rest are upstairs and already visible even though they are uncatalogued, so that’s nice!

You definitely did an amazing job at conveying the deeper attraction and more complicated emotional nuances behind their interactions doom 😔 enemies to lovers is always hella hit or miss for me but this was a clean bullseye from day one 🫠 I won't take up too much of your time going off about it but the way you wrote out mcs character and past trauma with her previous team (and potentially her dad if my dory memory serves me right???) and how it plays into the way she handles each situation and her relationship with the boys is so well balanced and beautifully laid out. I sincerely appreciate that you took the time to flesh her out as a multifaceted individual who has her strengths and her flaws and moments of weakness too, it makes me love her so much as a character 🩷 I totally get why woo would be on his knees for her ngl 😔

And woo is definitely a favourite character right now!! I can definitely see how he's the most honest with mc, love him sm for that. Makes me wanna roll him up and eat him like a little croissant 😔 can't wait to see more of him (and the results of whatever happened between that car and yeosangie's little hacker cave 😳) next week 🤭

AHHH YOU CAME TO MY ASK BOX IM SO EXCITED!!!

this makes me so so so excited to just show off more of the everyone's backstories. like the amount of planning and world building that went into this and how it affects the things they do and how they treat mc. How mc reacts to them is also so important for the storyline. She needed to be a character that fit both the role of a detective, but also would fit in with them. Still since this is a reader insert i still have to keep a certain vagueness to her (thus while despite her past with SK, and the hints of her father's legacy, the rest is pretty blank) Right now ive tried to mostly give each of them their own time and spotlight with mc. Things that sparked their curiosity in each other, while simultaneously moving the plot. Again i built a whole ass mafia world, back stories, underlying plot points and more for this and i am so hyped to show it!

Hyped enough that im already working on the next chapter cuz u just got me so excited for it! (unfortunately Woo has had his time and someone else is going to get a little more heavy focused but Woo will still be there, doing what he does best hehe) I hope you'll continue to like the story, and i would love to hear theories. it just fuels me even more to know the little hints i place are seen and im really so so so happy you've picked up on a lot of them already! Plus the dynamics ive been working on <3

This is the screenshot from Mile’s second account yesterday. The cartoon video shows the character on the screen calling the other character at 1AM just as they are going to bed. The caller is feeling low/stressed then the 2 characters talk till 2am and the one on the screen feels happy at the end of the call and other character is now exhausted.. Mile’s comment was lol” . Didn’t mile literally tell us a similar story about Apo calling him at all hours?

gonna do something totally novel tonight (haha) ... i am gonna put a/b fic away!!! i edited ch 14 tonight and it's okay, still needs a bit more editing here and there but it's nothing massive, so that's... good. and then the next part needs some thinking/headcanoning...

like i think i could use humboldt (making him the butler in this universe) to stop benedict from sneaking out to see anthony, and also maybe berbrooke could throw a ball as an official introduction for himself into society as the baron... and maybe i can drop some hints via that (like maybe just that he was educated at harrow?)... and violet can be well-meaningly pushy when she finds out that benedict danced three dances with someone at the ball... AND his mystery friend supposedly punched someone lol. a lot to plan i guess, or like, ... use the upcoming stuff to set up the next part. and also i suppose benedict (and violet) might have to go to more than one event, with perhaps a few days break in between, or........ well, idk.

in the more immediate future, i need to plan out what frederick is gonna say to like, ... set this in motion lol (like, re right where i'm up to in the fic/how to get benedict to convincingly yeet anthony off to an inn (i mean i have some idea, but my brain is kinda scrambled today so i don't want to write it now))

sims 4 news!! well, not news, but i've been watching deligracy's apartment renos, and i wanna open up the game now and try and do a reno on one of the apartments, because she did it in a particular way and the second bedroom looked like a closet, so i wonder if i could put the two bedrooms on the other side of the apartment since i don't mind pipes in the bedroom... To start with we have to talk about Spinnin and OH MY GOD where do I start? I am simply IN LOVE AND OBSESSED WITH EVERYTHING RELATED TO THIS SONG. I think it's one of my favorite Madison songs of my life and right now it's my favorite song. I feel like spinnin is one of those songs that touches your soul, you know what I mean? I think it's a deep song that you can relate to in different ways and it's SO SO precious..... THE BRIDGE OF THE SONG... HELLO? I'm still obsessed MADISON HAS AN AWESOME VOICE and I don't understand how she doesn't get more recognition, because wow just wooow. this song shows perfectly how talented she is.

And the mv? God, I LOVE IT I think it's also one of my favorites, not only of Mads songs, but of all music videos in general. It is a piece of art, every scene, the aesthetics, the drama and madison's performance.... I could talk for hours about this song

The scene where Madison puts clothes in the washer and of course, spins around like Spinnin is how Madison is a genius. The scene where she runs through the corn field and the birds standing still in the sky is too cute, and then when she is on her knees with the spotlight pointed at her in front of the cars WHAT EMOTION, WHAT FEELING I literally had goose bumps

In fact, bringing up the subject of the scene of Madison running in the cornfield I like this image better as the album cover than the other one that was there. Don't get me wrong, the other cover was great and she looked super cute, but the new album cover... I love it. I think it fits really well with the album

And another super important thing, THE SNIPPETS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I'm super super super excited. Sweet relief I really like it, I love the vibes it has and I can't wait to listen to the whole thing, Envy the leaves (which if I'm not mistaken was one of the songs you were claiming, no?) I thought it was super nice, it's going to be a GREAT song and 17 seems to me a very interesting one. The first time I listened to it I didn't love it, but now that I've listened to it a couple of times I really like it too, I think it's original and very cool . Which one did you like the most?

BUT NOT THE UGLY MESSED UP CRYING. because the whole chapter really tells us more abt their relationship with maki in a softest, purest, bittersweet way. i get why he decided to break up, i can relate with him. actually if i were going to be in a relationship and i am starting to fall behind my classes, i'd be so devastated to choose which one will be my priority. it's just so sad for him to be put in that situation.

I finally got around to reading Harrow the Ninth, and REALLY? REALLY? THAT’S where it ends??? REALLY???
