Around 2 days ago I had a discussion with my dad over if I had adhd or not because of my (VERY OBVIOUS) adhd symptoms, for context he was calling me an idiot, a dumb person, stupid, and lots more things to indicate that I am dumb like he usually says whenever I get one thing wrong (he is an echo chamber like that), but I don't believe any of what he's saying about me being stupid and I said that I have adhd (I have come to this conclusion after lots and lots of research) anD YOU KNOW WHAT HE SAID??? I AM BEING 100% SERIOUS WHEN I SAY THIS HE DENIED I HAD ADHD WHICH MAY NOT SEEM ANYTHING CRAZY OF THE SORT JUST REGULAR ABLEISM BUT YOU KNOW WHAT HE SAID AFTER THAT??? HE SAID HE KNOWS MORE ABOUT ADHD THAN ME AND HE *TOOK A COURSE ON ADHD* HE HAS ACTUALLY SAID THAT HE TOOK A COURSE LIKE THAT AND *THE THINGS HE SAYS GETS CRAZIER FROM HERE* HE SAYS THE CAUSE OF ADHD IS THE MOBILE PHONES AND IPADS AND TABLETS AND THE CURE FOR ADHD IS NOT MEDICATION BUT ITS FREAKING M E D I T A T I O N ADHD AND NEURODIVERGENT TUMBLR I NEED HELP WHERE IS HE GETTING THIS INFORMATION WHICH PSYCHOLOGIST SAYS THIS DOES A COURSE ON ADHD ACTUALLY EXIST AND ***HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET AN ADHD DIAGNOSIS WHEN MY DAD KEEPS DENYING ALL THE PROOF OF MY ADHD I NEED SOME HELP TO PROVE MY ADHD TO HIM GUYS WHAT SHOULD I TELL HIM*** 😭😭😭

I think he would lose it during one of those fish pedicure thingies. He just seems like the kind of person that if he’s a little tipsy he wouldn’t be able to hold back, yk???? Anyway, there was my rant 🫡

I like to think it's when he goes to the spa with his wives; they've got the new fish thing happening and Suma's all: "Let's try it!" and Tengen's thinking to himself "Oh this would be cute, seeing my wives' reaction!" So he agrees despite Makio and Hinatsuru's uncertainty. He reassures them it'd be fine and all that good stuff so they head in- get some drinks, dressed in robes yada yada yada.

Tengen lasted about 0.002 seconds before immediately breaking down into giggles. He was not PREPARED! His plan? Backfired- whether they were feeling as ticklish as he was he couldn't tell, he was too busy fighting for his life as the little buggers did their thing akjrkjeajkrejkjk He's got a booming laugh but not loud enough to scare off the fishes! It takes everything in him not to pull his feet out and run akjrkjaerkjaejkjke

By the end of it, Suma's giddy, Makio's mildy embarrassed but mostly giggly and Hinatsuru's gently chiding him about trying to show off, but Tengen feels pretty great all around cause his wives are happy- and that makes all the ticklishness worth it.

If you’ve been around for a while, you’ll know that this character, Feferi Peixes means a LOT to me. She was a character I latched onto when I was 11 years old, reading Homestuck for the very first time. She was my first cosplay, all the way back in February 2014 (ah, Quotev days), which introduced me to a community of Tumblr ask blog cosplayers- many of whom I still talk to and cheer on in their projects today! She’s why I go by Feffles online- borne from the experiences on a long dead roleplay website called Flarping.com that had just the kindest, most welcoming community. All that to say, to be able to actually cosplay Feferi Peixes in her unaltered state for the very first time, almost ten years after the first time I tried is a very very big moment for me.

Typically, I would post a Homestuck project or makeup look in honour of 4/13. I still did a makeup look (and you can find that on my TikTok: cinnominbubble), but with it being 15 years of Homestuck, 13 years of my own personal connection to the story, and 10 years since I first tried my hand at cosplaying this character for the very first time, it felt far more fitting to post my gill herself.

I cannot wait to be able to build onto this cosplay, making more iterations like her dream self, and Beforus iteration, and Godtier, and watch as my own cosplay growth comes in the next ten years.
