I don't normally talk on Tumblr but i just want to say I love love love your pics girlie. As someone who's 19 and wants to be a criminal lawyer myself, you are an inspiration for me as it's something I want to pursue.

Especially giving a voice to those who definitely need it the most 💕

Is there any advice that you'd give me for wanting to pursue in the field? Even the basics will help. I want a perspective from someone who's actually (I assume) doing this full time, if you're willing to pass the knowledge, Sensei 🙂‍↕️ (I pray for your sleep schedule and overall well being)

I've been thinking about this ask for weeks, but wanted to reply to it on my pc, and getting Tumblr to work again over here was its whole shebang 😅

Tips, tips, tips... okay, let's start at the beginning. I'm writing these considering my experience in my country (Brazil), so you might have to adapt a few things here and there depending on where you're from.

First off, the most important thing you can do is not slack off in college. In college it's where you're going to hone in not only some of the skills needed for this job (like the ability to seat and read, and read, and read precedents, bills, etc for extended amounts of time while paying attention to the details) but make your first professional contacts, especially with teachers. I absolutely slacked off regarding networking with my teachers (thanks to the 'tism) and although I got a jumpstart with academic research, my professional life did suffer.

Find an internship and use this time in college to experiment with as much areas as possible. I did have some familiarity with criminal law due to my family, so I had some idea I did like it. However, I had my fair share of internships in private law, and I kid you not, many organizational skills to study big lawsuits (currently, most the lawsuits in my firm are what we call mega ops, so they usually have 10k+ pages) I honed while in private law. Given these giant firms that work with private law tend to have a LOT of lawsuits to juggle, it's inevitable that they develop systems and specific bureaucratics to juggle it all. Take what knowledge you can from it.

If you can get an internship in a public defender's office, do. It's where you will find the most diverse list of lawsuits (concerning types of crimes) and you will get to learn multiple ways to come up with a defense strategy. Very rarely defense will be dependent on alibi, for example "I didn't do it, I wasn't there, it wasn't me, etc.". Consider learning from a public defender the equivalent to a general residence before you become more specialized, and what you learn here will be incredibly valuable going forward.

Try to get into a criminal law office midway through your law degree (idk how the undergrad+spec works in the US, I think this would be just as you go into the law specific subjects I guess). Usually here in Brazil, you get into a law firm as an intern and work with them up until you graduate, and since you've been there for all that time, you are then hired as a junior. Check if it works like that where you live too.

This one is more personal -- your client's problems are NOT your problems. I've been an attorney volunteer to overturn wrongful convictions alongside an institute here in my country akin to The Innocence Project (the human rights organization), and it was one of the hardest times of my professional life. To watch people suffering from every goddamn sort of AWFUL injustices and having my hands and feet tied most of the time, because the system is RIGGED to screw a specific demographic (the poor and the people of color). Think of it as a doctor would -- you give your best to help the patient to the best of your capabilities, but sometimes they will still suffer from things that are completely out of your control. To be a criminal defense lawyer is to accept a certain degree of helplessness regarding the system you're going to work with (and mostly against) for the good part of your life. I don't mean to discourage you, but it is hard, so brace yourself. It's a beautiful profession, and I will absolutely be waiting for you on the other side 💜

Without doing any research on cosplay or musical uniforms, what type of material do you tend to imagine the senshi gloves being made out of?

Oh, this is quite the interesting ask!

Well, the boring answer is.. magic lol, but I don't wanna be boring.

I honestly always imagined them being a mix of cotton and synthetic material, maybe like a 70 to 30 ratio.

They've always seemed very soft and sturdy, but not too stuffy. The creases in the gloves are very noticeable in the 90's anime and they seem to hold their shape even at minor bends of the wrists.

I can see why some people would tend to see them as simply just synthetic fabric, since they're very form fitting, but they have a certain thickness to them you can feel just by looking at them. (They do NOT feel like my shitty polyester drawing glove)

I also don't imagine them being slightly reflective like synthetic fabric tends to be.

To the people saying they're made out of leather... I don't know man, it's your life, have fun! (ur still wrong tho)

Pikavee was taken aback by that last comment. Moreso the tone he carried as he said it, sounding vaguely irritable.

Lief: “Even Livingston agrees with me about lying low, you know. Reminder. I know I offered in the end, but that does not include ‘be some hero that nobody asked for.’”

Pikavee: “But I–we can’t just leave things the way they are, Lief!”

Lief in turn perked up somewhat at Pikavee’s response, looking at her face. While her voice barely rose a decibel, her previous displeasure at simply doing nothing was on full display in her tone.

Perhaps too much on display, more than she intended, judging by the way she immediately looked guilty.

Pikavee: “I-I didn’t mean…”

Lief took one look between Pikavee and Fuku, and spoke near without his usual cadence.

Lief: “Well the world sucks. It’s just how it is.”

… perhaps you can leave her alone to fend for herself. Might make things better than her staying with someone like you.

So I was mulling over answering this question for the past week because I kept on overthinking things and just had so many things I wanted to talk about ranging from character analysis to OC's or just generally talking about favorite characters but instead of talking about any of that I've decided instead to talk about something that has been plaguing my mind for a while which is

Now hear me out this is something which has been plaguing my mind for a while like it just won't leave me alone so as a monster fucker myself I have decided to analyze which characters I believe would be down to get freaky with someone who possesses more monstrous features for example something like sukuna's heian era true form like like the scale of a monster fucker can range from human with monster features like claws multiple eyes extra limbs and appendages or a half human hybrid to a literal eldritch abomination that doesn't resemble anything human I will be basing this all by the way on my own personal opinion so it's okay if you disagree just please don't attack me for my opinion this is also half serious and half for fun so don't be so dramatic about it I'm just doing this for fun and also cause I thought it'd be funny to talk about

So I have been thinking of this for a while and since there are so many characters in JJK I've narrowed down my list to the top 8 I believe have the most potential the list by the way is in no order I just put the people I believe to be down to bang a monster if possible or if their s/o was not human/or half human or happened to possess a cursed technique that altered their body to give them a more monstrous appearance now anyways let us begin the list with

Kenjaku

Yorozu

Kashimo

Yuta (aged up)

Choso

Yuki

Hiromi

Toji

Now I will now explain my reasons as to why I believe these characters are monster fuckers

Kenjaku - Come on now we all know how freaky this man is he legitimately banged sukuna's reincarnated twin and even gave birth if that's not freaky I don't know what is also not just that he's also shown to be a highly curious and knowledge driven person so I believe he would be 100% down to bang a someone a lot more on the monster side both for curiosity and at the same time just to experience it and just in case it may come in handy in the future

Kashimo and Yorozu - I group these together because it's because these two are just down bad for Sukuna like yorozu was legit willing to throw herself at him in his true form what's not to say she wouldn't be willing to bang him also in that form and we all know that one panel of kashimo witnessing sukuna transform into his true form and calling him "beautiful" like I also believe he would down to smash if you possessed inhumane qualities

Yuta - Now I think we can also tell why I put him here like that man has already been shown to not be afraid of kissing cursed spirits examples being rika and that cockroach curse (I forgot it's name) in the culling game so I think it's safe to say he probably would be willing to smash if you had monster qualities I also believe that he wouldn't judge your appearance no matter how monstrous as long as you were a good person

Choso - I feel like he's a lot like yuta in that he's not one to judge if you looked more on the monstrous side like the whole reason he went along with kenjaku's plan at first was so that he's brothers could live in a world where they wouldn't be discriminated for their appearance so I feel like as long as he liked you he wouldn't mind getting down and dirty

Yuki - It's kinda hinted at in the manga that she had a thing for choso and to be honest who could blame her she has fantastic taste honestly but because of that I feel like she also wouldn't mind if you were not exactly fully human like how choso was half human half curse or had a more monstrous appearance if she likes you she likes you simple as that

Hiromi - Now please hear me out on this one he may seem out of place on this list but I just feel that deep within my soul that this man is a monster fucker like I feel like after he goes off the rails he legitimately would not care to be honest if you had more monstrous appearance as long as you were a good person and he also did say that he's been trying out new things he hasn't done before and banging a monster could be one of them

Toji - Same thing for hiromi honestly not that much proof more or less the vibes I get from him like this man seems also like such a freak he wouldn't mind doing the nasty if you didn't look exactly human like he did say that the cursed spirit kuchisake-onna looked interesting for a one night stand so yeah I feel like he'd be down

So anyways this is my list and opinions thank you for sticking through to the end and listening to me be unhinged and ramble about this if you have any other characters you think could be on the list let me know I would be happy to discuss it

What are each of their biggest fears? And biggest flaws? Conversely what are their greatest strengths? Biggest goals?

And idk if you have this figured out but if you do, what do they look like?? Definitely has nothing to do with me wanting to draw them nope nope nope

Ooooh, good question! I haven’t though about those for some of them before now!

Kōsuke

Biggest Fear: Letting people down in any way shape or form. Be it his team through not being good enough, his parents through not getting good grades, the other first years through “not being a good friend��, the coaches, etc. Biggest Goal: As of Highschool, it’s “becoming a Libero worthy of Karasuno”. So basically he wants to be good enough to support them and not leave them in a lurch when Noya graduates and Kōsuke takes over as the main Libero in his second year. Biggest Flaw: He buries all his stress and anxiety and negative emotions until, to the point where he literally can’t function anymore and has to take a gap year between Highschool and University. Biggest Strength: He’s incredibly dedicated to whatever he’s doing and whoever he’s doing it with. He’s dedicated to getting good grades, he’s dedicated to becoming a player he thinks is worthy of being the Karasuno Libero, he’s dedicated to his teammates, and he’s especially dedicated to the other first years. When Igarashi isn’t able to play anymore in their third year, the guilt of continuing on without him takes a MASSIVE toll on Kōsuke.

Igarashi

Biggest Fear: Gonna be honest, I don’t know that Igs really has one? He’s a very optimistic guy, and there’s not a whole lot going on up there other than whatever squirrel he’s chasing at the moment (right now it’s predominantly volleyball). As he gets older, more into third year, I’d say it’s probably holding his team back. He’s the least serious about volleyball out of the group and he has the least experience. Biggest Goal: To make a lot of friends from all sorts of different teams, including his own, and to learn a lot from his upperclassmen. Biggest Flaw: He’s easily distracted and gets lost in his thoughts at the worst times, and he always sees the best in everyone even when they’ve proven there’s not much there to see. Biggest Strength: He has a near unfailing optimism. If there’s any silver lining to be found in a situation, you can count on Igarashi to be the one to point it out. Also he just loves people and loves to make friends and that lets him learn from a lot of people of all ages.

Tani

Biggest Fear: Initially it was not being able to carry on the family legacy at Nekoma. After he settles in and gets comfortable at Karasuno, it becomes being made to leave Karasuno before graduation. Biggest Goal: Tani feels a lot of pressure from his family to be better than his brother. His brother was a Nekoma ace during his third year (pre-cannon) but his studies suffered. Tani has been an honors student all throughout junior high and is in the highest level of class possible as a Karasuno first year, so now he just has to keep his grades up and become the ace of Karasuno in his third year. Biggest Flaw: Tani is extremely closed off even with his positive emotions. He doesn’t want to let anyone get close because he doesn’t want to get hurt. He really really wants someone to actually care about him, just once. But he won’t let anyone in. (Enter Miura, who does not knock and most certainly does not take no for an answer. I doubt even a restraining order would stop him tbh) Biggest Strength: Tani is incredibly analytical and it transfers over to his playing as well as his relationships. He’s able to take in all the information, sort through it, and figure out just where to strike to make it count. And he’s confident in his ability to do so.

Miura

Biggest Fear: Honestly it’s probably something happening to his siblings. They’re always taking up a portion of his brain space. Biggest Goal: Miura would really really like to be a pro volleyball player one day. He doesn’t voice this dream though because it isn’t really a viable career path. But sometimes, just for a little bit, he’ll let himself dream. Biggest Flaw: Miura’s very self-sacrificial for the people he cares about, to the point of putting his own wants and needs on the back burner for so long he sometimes forgets that they’re there until they burn and there’s smoke pouring off of them. Also while he’s great at cheering on his teammates, his optimism only extends to them. He’s very pessimistic when it comes to anything about himself and his dreams/goals/efforts, etc. Biggest Strength: He’s incredibly down-to-earth and has a very solid work ethic. It takes a lot to phase him, which puts him in a place to be an amazing supporter to the people he cares about both on and off the court.

APPEARANCES:

So I haven’t drawn them before, but I do have a general idea of what they look like! I’ll pull a couple reference images for hair on Tani and Miura since I picture theirs a specific way that I have yet to figure out how to describe, but Kōsuke and Igs are still pretty vague. :)

Kōsuke has short and somewhat messy black hair and gray eyes. He’s 5’4”, but he subconsciously hunches over and shrinks in on himself to seem more unimposing.

Igarashi is taller than Kōsuke, but shorter than Tani and Miura. He has fluffy white hair and light blue eyes, and he’s pretty pale.

Tani has light brown Tim Drake-style hair, dark brown eyes, and freckles. He’s taller than Igs and shorter than Miura. And he’s always got a lollipop :)

And then Miura is built like a farm-boy and is the tallest of them all. He’s got dark brown hair with an undercut (similar to Terushima from Johzenji, but not slicked back) and the top half is dyed a purpley-maroon. His eyes are dark like his hair, and he’s more on the sun-tanned side.

i don't really have specific detailed tips in drawing bunnies, but if there is one that i can give you..

look at bunnies, look at all kinds of bunnies. follow accounts that post pictures of their pet bunnies.

you'll find that bunnies have a lot of weird shapes to them, weird faces to them and bunnies while cute just look odd and strange sometimes.

though for me i tend to start drawing a bunny in this order

i like to imagine their body like dough

if its anything, these are bunny accounts i follow and often look to when drawing bunnies or have just absorbed how the bunnies look like into my mind so i know what to do when drawing bunnies. my tldr is to just look at references of bunnies, absorb how they look, how they move, their odd body shapes. list of bunny accounts you could look at on twitter as reference 1. fuku 2. jagamaru-kun 3. gomora 4. guru and lapi 5. unako, temari and ranmaru 6. chibita ( chibita is an older bunny whos 12 yrs old so looking at his fur might help if you want to depict bunnies with a bit of age to them )

im new here is there like a masterpost about your au, or can you give a basic rundown of it for any noobs like me

I do have an introductary post but it is SLIGHTLYYY outdated bc i keep forgetting to update it so i will link it here and show the updated sprites and give a summary!!

So, Agrotale is an AU based on the Queen Alphys neutral ending you can get by abandoning a geno route in Hotland. Which means that Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton, and Asgore are all dead. The fallen human, Everett, must traverse the underground and avoid being captured by the Royal Guard and escorted to the Queen. The name Agrotale comes from the fact that Everett is a gardener and helps with the Underground's agriculture after a malfunction in the CORE limits food supply.

You jump back, panting, sweaty.

“Again” he commands, waiting for your next blow. 

Your muscles are sore, your arms weak. You are sure you can’t do it harder, no matter what. But if there was something Soshiro taught you when fighting is to never give up. 

“Nghhh!” you scream, swinging your blade with a strength you aren’t sure you had until now. 

Soshiro uses one of his knives to stop it, getting pushed back a little by your force. He smirks, this time he is absolutely pleased. But that doesn’t mean you must become cocky… 

“Ha! Finally!” you proudly celebrate, only to be “subjugated” by your vice-captain. Your back hits the ground, his blades cross your neck. Sharpness against flesh, a slight movement and you are dead. 

You blink repeatedly, breathing desperately, scared. Did you hurt his ego? Did you do something wrong? 

“Do not get cocky… during battle is the least thing you should do” he grunts, pushing ever so slightly one of his blades against your skin. 

You gasp; having this man on top of you, crushing you with his weight… his hips on yours, keeping you immobilized…

“N-no… I’m so- sorry, vice-captain…” you mutter. Your chest matches the ups and downs of his chest. Your core, tightens; having his crotch so close to yours, makes you tremble. 

Soshiro takes a deep breath; it seems to you that he is getting a little “uncomfortable” with that position. 

Would it be inappropriate to turn your deepest desires into reality? You, like a prey, wish to be finally devoured by him, a hunting fox. And, it is sick to you, but still hot, the fact that his blades are menacingly about to slice your throat open and still you are become wet, so wet. 

Your hips, maybe on their own, buck up; As if your core were asking to join with his, you can’t help it. 

Soshiro takes a little gasp; his eyes open, purple orbs fixing on yours with intensity and maybe… lust? 

“You like having these blades pressed against my throat, Vice-captain?” you ask in a total shameless fit. 

Soshiro, who had weakened the pressure against your carotids, tightens his hand around his blade’s handle. 

“Ah… maybe…” he huffs, cracking his neck, going further against your flesh. “Are you scared?”

He immediately uses one of his sharp tools to sever your training clothes; his muscles show their movement underneath his tight pressure shirt, what a delicious image to look at while you are being so close to getting a deadly cut on your body.

The tip of one of his knives dances ever so softly up and down your chest and into your belly. His black jeans let you see his sex becoming harder the more he plays with his deadly weapons.

“Deeply” you answer back, purring, letting sloppy lips play with his as you speak. 

Soshiro closes his eyes; focusing might not be enough to control himself. 

“Deeply? Deep is how you want it?” 

“Very, very deep…” 

Soshiro smirks; your pants also get sliced open. With your panties, though, he takes his time. First, he lays the side of his blade on your sex. It gets a little humid from the wetness of your arousal. And then, when your squirming becomes too noticeable because of how needy you get, he decides to also cut the lingerie by its side. 

The ripping lace noise fills the training room, which soon gets replaced by panting and warm kisses. Soon, Soshiro’s pants abandon his hips to be left on the side of the floor. 

Just as you imagined, he is perfect; not too big, but still bigger than usual. Veiny, pale and very, very hard. A hardness that slides inside you almost immediately with no difficulty whatsoever. 

You whine to his first intrusion, arching your back, getting the single blade that still he holds to make a little cut on your neck. 

“I’m so-“ Soshiro wants to apologize, even though he is actually killing you but with ramming hips.

“Don’t be…” you whisper back, crossing your legs around his waist and carving your heels on the small of his marked back. Truth is, the sharp feeling of his knife could only make you even more aroused, needy… “You can feed your blades of my blood as much as you wish ~”

what does junes bring to inaba?

this started as a reply to @psychedeliclulu in the cmts on this post but it uhh got really long and turned into a post of its own haha

this is partially based on inaba's pre-existing world building, partially based on anecdotal experience from my couple weeks in the japanese countryside, and partially based on the things that go unspoken in the game.

i believe what the npcs were talking about was how large, convenient, and varied that junes is. not to mention, it is also a community space.

the big pull that junes has, IMO, is that it's a multi story department store with a 24/7 hr grocer on the first floor. just by going on what the characters get in-game, aside from groceries, we know they also sell electronics and clothes. we know they have the roof with the food stalls and a children's play area, and even an event stage. in fact, if the protagonist works at junes during summer vacation, yosuke says something about a costumed hero show which is likely taking place on the event stage. from this, we learn that junes gives the community a reason to come there aside from just shopping, establishing it as a community space. (but i'm sure yosuke's dad surely wants you to spend money before/after the costume show.)

before junes came to inaba, they probably had to go to multiple different specialty stores that didn't quite have a variety. or they relied on getting deliveries, like from namatame's family business. and aside from the events at tatsuhime shrine and the yasogami school festival (per persona club p4, outside vendors can have booths at the school festival), we don't know what else the community has. so junes is functionally a lot of stuff, all in one.

in game, we're told that junes is new and is driving stores in the central shopping district out of business. the things we know about that are currently in the shopping district are:

moel gas station

daidara's store where he sells fish swords to teenagers

shiroku's general store / night time small town bar

rise's grandma's traditional tofu store (this is likely also her grandma's house, and where rise lives while shes in inaba)

kanji's family's textile store (also the tatsumi's family home)

yomenaido bookstore

aiya chinese diner (restaurant)

souzai daigaku (prepared foods)

the shrine

konishi liquors

marutake hobby shop

we dont see any grocers in the central shopping district in-game. is what we see in-game everything there is to the shopping district, or is like how the average rpg town only shows the player what they need?

tbh, i guess you could take hashino's answer to mean there *is* a grocery store in the shopping district, but the player never goes to it lol.

also, some of this is lost in english cause the signs aren't translated, but if you poke around the central shopping district, interact w/some of the buildings and read the signs outside, you'll get messages about what they are, such as:

big stone, a bicycle shop

ichikawa electronics

a store in-between ichikawa and konishi that's closed but its unknown what kind of store it was

a barber shop

nakanishi drugs/pharmascy

an unknown store next to nakanishi (the banner in front of it just says "central shopping district")

a building that i thiiink says "fuku[something; this would be a family name] real estate", next to maruktake

a building with no sign, to the left of aiya

a coffee shop / cafe / "kissa" in the background between the bookstore and daidara called something-hoshi/sei?-something (i cant read handwriting fonts LOL)

all of these have their shutters down, but i'm not sure if they're all closed for good. like in yukiko's new years romance, for example, she'll tell the protagonist they should go to a cafe, which suggests that either the smth-hoshi-smth place is actually open, or there is more to the shopping district than what we're allowed to roam around.

altho, it's also reasonable to assume that some of these shuttered shops we encounter have closed down due to junes. we see in-game that junes has stuff like an electronics department, which might have driven ichikawa electronics in the shopping district out of business. i imagine junes carries products like alcohol too, hence why saki's family would feel threatened by their presence. and when you do the fox's quest for the hobby shop owner, he says that when kids want to buy toys, they just go to junes, so we know junes also sells stuff like that. (there's also adachi's dialogue that might have gotten removed in golden about junes selling toys and kiddie magic kits.)

from the world building stuff, we learn that the junes grocery department is open 24/7 and they put out ready made foods (like to buy and eat at home) at 4pm/7pm/10pm. i believe on november 5th, you see yosuke working late at night at junes, stuck on grocery stocking duty cause junes' grocery is always open. (i dont think i ever translated this before, but in the "junes newsletter" in persona club p4, there's also a submission from sayoko who says she appreciates the grocery dept being open whenever for when she gets off her shift at the hospital late at night.)

i think just having a "24/7 hr grocery store" is kinda huge, as from my exp in the countryside, a grocer otherwise closes at like 8pm. inaba likely does not have much else that's open 24/7, or even that late at night, and golden only has shiroku's store and aiya being open later at night. i touched on this before in a post about yukiko's family ryokan, but the stereotype goes that ryokans are in remote locations and offer breakfast/dinner service to guests because there likely aren't many other places to get food in that area, especially later in the evening. (hence why yosuke assumes yukiko can cook, and why chie assumes yukiko knows what she's talking about when they grocery shop.)

what what your top five (or so) favorite undertale/utmv fanfics?

It's a bit hard to answer because my tastes change a lot and my favorites too.

Add to that the fact that I've read quite a bit over the years but I think I can highlight some fanfics.

I'll name a few but they're in no specific order.

* (UTMV) A Brother's Duty by Wingless_Hummingbird is focused on (drum roll) the dreamtale twins! in those moments where Nightmare shows mercy to Dream and acts like a brother should.

There's a bit of bsp but honestly the best focus is on the twins.

* (UTMV) How To Remove A Splinter also written by Wingless_Hummingbird is a little one shot where Nightmare saves a girl (Fuku Fire) from some bullies. It's the only work I've seen on it and I found it at least interesting! Killer is also in there,,, but it's not relevant. Again there's implied bsp.

* (UTMV) Who are we to each other? by bluedovee

This is a pretty cool horrordust fanfic because (hold on to your pants) it's focused on Horrortale! It takes place after Dust and Horror land in an alternate version of Horrortale where the monsters are cannibals.

* (UTMV) Kindling for the fire by vicen_non

another work focused on the dreamtale twins, this time, in times before the accident. It's a disturbing read but with a happy ending.

* (UNDERTALE) Love in a shell by Anonimous

A one shot. Soriel, sweet and lovely soriel AND related to stardew valley. If you guys like these dorks, you gonna love this one.

* (UNDERTALE) And We Begin by Blaiddsumu its a one shot focused on how Alphys met Gaster and Sans <3 i wont say more, is AMAZING.

Another one shot, i love reading one shots more than multiple chapters fanfics. This one is focused on Undyne and Papyrus after Frisk killed Asgore. I love the characterization so much.

🍓 How did you get into writing fanfiction?

I started writing fanfiction when I was... 13, I think? I started off in the ANCIENT quizilla, making Yu Yu Hakusho fanfics (if you know... you know.) Back then, I just wanted to keep expanding on a piece of media I really liked and simp over Kurama (oh well how the tables turn). Years after that, I went on to write Twilight fanfiction, basically expanding on lore (especially on Alice's backstory, she was my crush and my fav character). It was terrible, and I'm glad the site where I wrote it in is gone now, lol.

🍇How many fandoms have you written in? 

Not many. Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, Twilight, Sherlock (Robert Downey Jr movies), Death Note, Rurouni Kenshin, Supernatural, and Jujutsu Kaisen.

🍈How many years have you been writing fanfiction?

So, I tend to write for about one year (maybe two) and then I just stop for MANY years. If I make a big sum of it all, I think... 4 years??

🍎Do you read or write more fanfiction?

I guess it's about 70% writing and 30% reading fanfiction specifically (I tend to read more fiction books than fanfiction), but it will soon swap. I've got some scrumptious ones saved on my AO3 bookmarks, hehe.

🍌What is one way you've improved as a writer?

The expansion of my vocab in english ever since I began writing in english (january of this year) has been my biggest improvement. The very first thing I wrote in english was Sand and Snow's 1st chapter, and wow, I can see the night and day difference from then and now.

🍑Do you have any bad habits as a writer?

I'm overly descriptive and too analytical when I'm not writing angst, so things tend to get pretty souless and boring if I'm not careful.

🍍 What's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

Customs between married couples during the Edo period in Japan. That wasn't exactly weird per se, but it's overly specific.

🍉What's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

My two favorite types of comments are, somehow, the opposites. The first is the big one where the reader ends up providing a full on commentary of their entire experience while reading what I wrote, these always melt my heart! The second type is the absolutely unhinged and deranged comedic one-liner comment, because I love some crazy (can't help it).

🍐What's the most fringe trope/topic you write about?

I don't know if I'd call it fringe, but non-monogamy would be the most "out of the ordinary" thing I like writing about.

🥭What is the hardest type of story for you to write?

Long fluff and light-hearted pieces. Higuruma sensei is being a CHALLENGE for me in that regard, so I'm giving myself one month in between chapters, because God knows I can't pump those out like I did with other things. 😂

🍏What is the easiest type?

I tend to write (not only fanfiction, but in general) to process trauma or just understanding the ludicrous experience of being alive. For that reason, angst and dialogue-focused stories (that are about picking apart a theme) are the easiest for me.

🍑Where do you do your writing? What platform? When?

I'm an oldie who NEEDS to write on a laptop or proper computer. I just can't with cellphone. I think/write too fast, and it's just NOT POSSIBLE to do it on the phone. Currently, I write on Tumblr and AO3 whenever inspiration hits me (usually every week).

🍋What is something you've been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?

I'd like to write a manga. I'm slowly building my characters, plot, story etc., but given the obvious hurdles of actually making a manga (I do not have the discipline to draw manga pages on the regular), I'll probably just end up writing a novel, unless I meet an artist that would like to take on that project with me.

🍓 How did you get into writing fanfiction?

As a teen I was a voracious reader and tried to write my own stuff based on other books I'd read. I also loved ST:TNG and wanted dearly to be in an episode and had lots of the books. I wrote my own ST stories with OC's (gratuitous self inserts), but they never went anywhere. In my late teens I read some Xena fanfic on the internet. But that was it for a great number of years.

At the beginning of 2021 I sat and watched the entirety of the MCU films in chronological order (I'd seen most of them before and was mainly a Thor gal.) I fell down the Stucky rabbithole. Deep. I decided to look up fanfic. AO3 was now a thing! I wrote (a very poor) Stucky fic and here we are, almost 3 years later

🍇How many fandoms have you written in?

As my ST stuff never made it further than my parent's old PC in the days of dial-up, I won't count it.

I've written for MCU, various Chris Evans and Seb Stan Characters and one fic for RWRB. I've been toying with writing a one-off Criminal Minds fic as a gift for a friend.

🍈How many years have you been writing fanfiction?

Three in July since I first published anything on AO3.

🍎Do you read or write more fanfiction?

I try to balance it out. If I have a period of hyperfocus writing I try to then go through a period of reading. I read on both Tumblr and AO3, so try to keep that even as well.

🍌What is one way you've improved as a writer?

Getting betas to pick me up on tense changes, overuse of words and rogue commas. Reading more. Practising. Writing outlines for longer stories so I don't go off-piste.

🍑Do you have any bad habits as a writer?

Getting bored half-way through a long fic, especially if the first few parts haven't had a lot of interaction. Which is why I try to write the whole thing before I start posting.

🍍 What's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

Engineering courses at MIT and, for a separate fic, Violet wands, including the ways to use them and the differnt types of accessories you can use with them. I even watched a Youtube video.

🍉What's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

Any comment! Anything that gives me the validation I need!

🍐What's the most fringe trope/topic you write about?

I wrote a transformation into Tsum-tsum fic that was both cracky and smutty. That's pretty niche.

🥭What is the hardest type of story for you to write?

Action scenes. I loathe them. I'm constantly wondering if they are long enough, and make sense.

🍏What is the easiest type?

Short things that are either PWP or fluffy slices of life.

🍑Where do you do your writing? What platform? When?

Mainly on my elderly laptop on G-Docs, and in every moment I can - normally afterwork before dinner and on Mondays when I don't have work.

There are a few characters and ships I haven't written that I'd like to. And I suppose I'd like to write a proper long, over 100k fic at some point.

When I made my AO3 account I felt as though that at 40, and only really starting in Fandom in this way, I was late to the party, so that is who I became.
