I had planned on drawing everyone for this (I made a LIST!) but it. hasn't been going well. 💀 soooo here's what I have so far!

Riddle - Roserade (I was going with 'no legendaries', otherwise I would've given him a Shaymin) (and I don't think Togedemaru is actually a hedgehog or I would've given him one of those too) (...they kind of do fit though. hmm.)

The Baby on the stage

The watermark stills from a video of the baby Sam held are not the truth of the lovely encounter. The grimace was not the FACT.

A young couple brought their baby girl. Cutie dressed for the occasion, Mum too. Dad a supporting act. She was so well behaved and when she got grizzly Dad went out with her. A team effort. She was there from 8.15 until the very end, a long day for her and Mum.

During the final panel with Sam towards the end she was letting her dissatisfaction be known. Not crying but you could hear her. Steve said to Sam it’s a photo worthy occasion for the family. Bring the baby to the stage. Sam was all for it. Mum soooo happy. Dad 📱 ready.

Lots of cheering and noise and the little cutie was a ⭐️. The grimace was when Sam nearly let her slip. He was at height on the stage Mum lower, it was an awkward pass. Thats the grimace. He was happy and relaxed, so was baby girl. Photos taken and the baby passed back to Mum.

End of story. I have the video, and it’s clear as day that he wasn’t freaked out holding a baby.

I just realised ive never actually talked about my thoughts on religious chip even though i think about it constantly ever since he mentioned having a holy symbol and holy water and going out of his way to replace those after he lost them to the electrodon and also i fucking love making up fantasy religions and pantheons because its soooo fun

ANYWAY

onto my thoughts on what god chip follows and how he got there:

basically Chip follows a god much, much older than Aster or Lundadaeyis, and far more distant. this god is nearly forgotten, followed and worshiped by very few people. this god does not care whether or not people follow him, of course, because it changes nothing in his domain either way. technically, this god could even be considered one of the Great Old Ones, a god whose true name was forgotten centuries upon centuries ago and whose legend is passed on only by word of mouth from follower to follower. those who know of him call him The Narrator.

The Narrator is the god of all stories told throughout the world. He is the god of chance meetings and fated encounters, of accidental occurrences and inevitable events, of the roll of the dice and pre-written prophecies.

As a kid, Chip was never all that into the religions of mana. He found the concept of fate too restricting and the idea of total free will terrifying. He didn't like the idea that every bad thing that ever happened to him was always going to happen no matter what nor did he like the idea that it was the result of his choices, and therefore his fault. So he didnt pay much attention to any talk of Aster and Lunadeyis on the small island he grew up on.

But he was approached one day, when he was maybe 14, by someone very plain, but weathered and with eyes that had seen much. The person offered him a pendant shaped like a quill with a twenty-sided die dangling below it, and said he "looked like a young man with a story to tell". He told chip about The Narrator, a god who simply observes and chronicles and changes the story only to make it more interesting, and even then leaves it up to chance. And something about it called to chip. Maybe it was the lack of pressure. the idea that maybe the bad things werent always going to happen, but that they also weren't anyone's fault, really. or that if more bad things happened, even if it was his fault it wasn't for nothing - it'd be a good story to tell, and at least someone would get something out of it.

So chip became a follower of The Narrator. his belief is a quiet one. hes not the praying type, and The Narrator isnt the kind to demand prayers. perhaps if you toss one up to him, offering to change the story in a way that interests him, he may roll the dice for you, but otherwise he just Is. and that's all chip needs. he just needs something to point to and say "this isn't for nothing", he needs a reason why the bad things that happen are worth it, he needs a reason to believe his story isnt over yet. so he wears that holy symbol with the quill and the die and he believes quietly and he hopes it suits the narrative for him to keep his friends and find his crew.

Lucy has a date night on Saturday. Which wouldn’t really be a problem, but it’s not with him, it’s with Angela and Nyla. At a SINGLES NIGHT party. Holy shit Angela. Holy shit Lucy. He doesn't know what to do with this information right now. He's absolutely certain that Lucy somehow got roped into this thing. If you know Angela, you know that sometimes you have absolutely no chance against her. And he also knows that he has absolutely no reason to be jealous or anything else. But that doesn't mean he has to like the fact that Lucy is taken on singles night by Angela. Together with Nyla. Holy shit.

All of this is going through his mind as he stands on the Grizzlies' practice field, where he's supposed to be coaching his baseball team. He sees Lucy eyeing him. For about the fifth time. But she hasn't said anything yet. He gives her a few more minutes. He knows his girl.

It doesn't take long for them to set up the boys with an exercise that keeps them all in motion and requires minimal correction. Standing next to him, they exchange a look, and he simply says, "Singles night? What the fuck Lucy."

He didn't want to bring up the topic so bluntly, but that's just the way it is. He had intended to be more composed and cooler, without turning it into some kind of accusation. He rolls his eyes at himself mentally, while Lucy actually rolls her eyes at him.

"I swear I couldn't help it. You know Angela... Well, she was being Angela. And there was no way to escape it. Believe me, I tried."

Tim notices that one of the boys believes he can ease up a bit just because his two coaches are engaged in conversation. He almost has to commend him for his keen observation. But before he can address it, he hears Lucy's shout.

"Hey Simon, again, half speed doesn't count."

Tim's face lights up with a wide grin. Lucy can be tough, and it's amusing how their roles seem to reverse when they're on the baseball field. Typically, he's the tough one - on the job anyways - but in baseball, she holds a higher standard. Lucy has a competitive drive; she wants to win and slacking on training will not led to win.

But back to Lucy. Who is going on a date at a singles night event.

"So, I'm not going to see you on Saturday because you're going on a date … nice." He emphasizes date like it's a contagious disease.

"I'm not going on a date. I'm going out for a drink with Angela and Nyla. In a bar where there happens to be singles night."

"Sure. And Angela and Nyla won't spend the whole time trying to set you up with someone. What was it Angela said? Trying to find Mr. Right for you? "

In response, Lucy shifts her gaze toward him, arching her eyebrows. "Really Tim? Don’t be such a drama queen!"

After a while you two got to know each other pretty well! After all that drama with Charlie and Alastor you two got to know each other a bit better with you getting quickly attached to this little king! He didn't mind but he was rather awkward whenever you asked for pets, ear scratches, hugs and so on since he wasn't sure if he should or not, even when you asked for it since it felt like he was invading your personal space

He got used to it after a while, as he would rant to you about his little creations (mainly duck creations such as the fantastical back-flipping rubber duck!! That spits FIRE!!!!) he would scratch behind your ears or would pet your hair or play with your tail, fluffing it up as he would rant on and on about what interested him. He got very comfortable with such contact!

Bro is PROTECTIVE like not in a "TOUCH THEM AND YOU DIE 😡😡" kinda protective more like "omg be careful with them istg BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL" type protective, almost like he is with Charlie but a little more!

He is a little shocked when you first reveal your full wolf form, it's not like he doesn't see people like that no, no, no! He does, it's just a bit surprising since you never showed it to him before, he thought all you were was just half human/half wolf typpa person- he didn't expect you to be able to fully transform like that

She absolutely LOVES yo,u even if you're rude or sweet that doesn't matter, and thinks that you're a half human half wolf type is adorable!!!

Absolutely loves PDA, she gives you so many head pats, hugs and cuddles in public!! She does this a lot that sometimes Vaggie tells her to chill out with the PDA-

she absolutely loves your ears and tail the most! She loves how your ears flick around whenever something catches your interest or whenever you hear something and get excited over it, she just finds it adorable!! And she really liked your tail because it helps calm her down, she plays with your fluffy tail sometimes whenever she feels a bit overwhelmed by everything as it helps her relax!!

prime defenders- FAVOURITE ONE RN BECAUSE I JUST FINISHED IT. it's about teenage superheroes!!! starts out as kind of a sitcom-esque series where the stakes are very low. but then the stakes get high. and things get dire. and just. soooo many things happen. like it goes from zero to one hundred REAL DAMN FAST. and then it somehow goes past a hundred in season two. every character is so fucking good and i love them all and i think u should watch it, it's got 64 episodes total and there are a couple of oneshots in that playlist too if you want to listen to them!!! bizly dms this one and he's sooo fucking good at doing voices and stuff i love every single npc <3 HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS ONE TBH. My fav animal is Grizzly bear 🐻.
